From the warehouse to the big house the Josh Duggar story

I'm kind of partial to "From The Family Research Council to the Big House" myself.

As long as we're taking jerks and hypocrites down, let's take down as many -- and as big ones -- as we can.

That's a new one, arraigned on undisclosed charges?

No living with minors provision absolutely is a disturbing giveaway that the charges are child related.

This explains so much of the recent abnormal behavior of so many family members, the bizarre Easter episode -- and why JD and Abbie in particular never spoke, etc.    The show is done.   The family is no doubt imploding.

The news story that @Zella linked, said that the charges were not read out during the hearing at the request of Josh's lawyers. I'm sure the lawyers had a copy and know what the charges are. Now the reporters are having to wait to get a copy and read the charges for themselves.

So, those of you with experience in legal matters, how does he manage to have his charges not revealed publicly?

No legal experience but would it be because revealing the charges would involve naming minors as victims and they don't want to do that at this point?  No idea...

So, based on that, when KNWA gets a copy of the paperwork (which they are waiting on), they will know?

Ah, waived the reading of the information.  Gotcha.

I so wish reporters assigned to covering legal matters were required to take a course familiarizing themselves with the basics.

If released on bail he can't be in a home with minors present?

Guess Jeremiah will be getting a new roommate in the bunk bed house.

Not wanting to make light of this.  It is sickening.  Those poor kids.

I can't even imagine how they are going to spin this one.

Yeah the reporting is saying he will be in jail until at least then.

Yes…if I read that correctly.

I wonder how TLC feels now about letting Josh sneak back into their filming lately.

Thank you.
I really really hope he never gets bond, he just shouldn't if he has to stay away from minors. I hate thinking that there is a small chance that JB will be able to bail him out. If he does get bond and gets out, where is JB going to put him?

He's not managing that. The reporters are going to get a copy of the charges from the court. [ETA: charges were released as I was writing this.]

It's just that Josh's lawyers asked the judge not to read out the charges during the hearing, which basically has delayed disclosure of them to the general public.

I'm not up to speed on federal procedure but I assume this was an advisement hearing, and Josh had the right to have the charges read out to him by the magistrate judge. It was a good move by his lawyers to waive that reading IMO.

Anna needs to take those babies to Florida near her family and legally change their last name to Keller.

So sad for Anna.

You know what, I’m really not sad for her. She’s closed her eyes and pretended all is well for a very long time. Did she really have zero clue as to what he was being so “diligent” about?

Their children, though…what a mess. Poor things have to grow up with this.
