He's not managing that. The reporters are going to get a copy of the charges from the court. [ETA: charges were released as I was writing this.] It's just that Josh's lawyers asked the judge not to read out the charges during the hearing, which basically has delayed disclosure of them to the general public. I'm not up to speed on federal procedure but I assume this was an advisement hearing, and Josh had the right to have the charges read out to him by the magistrate judge.
