Joe & Kendra: Looking Forward To Side Hugs

The baby looks fake, like she's carrying around her daughter's doll. And their kids look more like her family than Duggars which could be good or bad depending.

I *think* that might actually be her sister and not her daughter in the picture... Looking at the full post on the Caldwell's Instagram, there is a picture at the end with two of Kendra's brothers holding the two babies, and the larger one (which is presumably Brooklyn, since she's older) is wearing bluish/ lavender. Bizarrely, Kendra's mom is not in any of the pictures, but there are multiple ones showing Lauren Caldwell shopping for baby clothes, so it looks like two sisters with babies, rather than the bizarre inter-generational, sister-momming outing that is is.

Poor Lauren probably had to take all her siblings shopping while Mom and Dad are alone together. Or if Mrs. Caldwell was there, she is happy to let her older kids wrangle the little ones.

There’s one pic that both Kendra and Lauren are in so someone had to take it. Kendra looks really good. I know it’s probably youth and good genes, but she bounced back very well.

Wait...JOY had the post? The media is appearing to insinuate that it was THE CALDWELLS who are hinting that Kendra is preggo again...

Yes. Joy posted a picture of Kendra holding her stomach.  It said Kendra was pregnant.   Now the post is gone

Are you referring only to the sons? Derick, Austin, Jeremy (if he ever comes to terms that he’ll never be famous, just infamous) are able to provide for their families.

You are correct. I meant that for the kidults that are still solely under JB’s thumb. Not the ones that can provide for their families!

They need some detailed lessons in the rhythm method. If she is regular, it can work quite well.

The problem is they want Kendra to get pregnant. I wish she would have followed her mom's example and spread out her babies. Hopefully, when she has her laundry room melt-down, she and Joe will be smart enough to quit.

Can y'all imagine if men were the ones carrying babies and giving birth? This quiverfull bullshit would be interpreted very differently, for sure.

So true.  I just watched a show on Netflix (reality show, i think it's called An Unorthodox life) and just wow.  there really are people out there like the Duggars - it is like a cult, no ifs, ands or buts.  They were fundies.

FIFY.

I was considering that John David MAY have enough skills to support himself without Daddy, but that may just be wishful .

Austin seemed independent when they first married, but now he doesn’t even have a current contractor’s license. They bought their house from JB, and he’s been involved with some of the Mediccorps scams. Derick is the only one I believe can support his family independently at this point.

Derick is the only one we have seen furthering his education because he actually has a real one! We have also seen him actually work at a job not funded by JB.

Like the Duggar females and their homemaking, schedule shock will be an initial struggle if the Duggar males work out in the real world. Although if Joe becomes a money making real estate agent, he can have a more flexible schedule.

I thought Ben had the only real independent job in the beginning. Derick's mom got him a job at Walmart and Jeremy's dad got him the Laredo preaching gig.

Didn’t Bin work for his dad’s auto glass company (or something similar)?

IIRC Bin also worked part-time at an insurance agency, although there were no specific details about his position. Pa Seewald screwed up royally when he sold his teenage son to JB thinking it would lead to fame. Having two jobs at 17, even if part-time indicates a good work ethic. Ben could have been done with a four year degree by age 22. Instead, he’s breeding for Jesus, depends on JB to feed and clothe his kids, and is a Duggar for all practical purposes.

Now, don't forget, Jeremee has a bachelor's degree and some hours toward a master's, IIRC. He's now furthering his professional education by studying brown-nosing for a degree at the Seminary of St. MacArthur in LA. Majoring in some kind of religious stuff, I assume, with a strong minor in aspirational social media work. (Or do I have the major and minor mixed up?)

ETA: I know, you don't really "major" in subjects at the grad level. I just have not a clue about the curriculum at the seminary, nor do I care to know.  And Jeremee's such a wonderful target for snark, I can't help it.
