I don't think Tony showered before the group date. His tshirt looked filthy.

I was also thinking that Clint looked like a busted Bill Mahr, but actually busted in a good way. Is that possible?

It's like Kaitlyn hasn't switched over from Bachelor contest to THE BACHELORETTE. She keeps explaining to these guys why she likes them sooo much and then going in for a kiss. The men just sit there and smile smugly. Ugh, that's not how it's done. The show needs to have Emily coach the new bachelorette every season. She sat back while the guys ran circles around each other.

Trista also had the guys eating out of her hand.  I have a feeling Kaitlyn's season is going to end like DeAnna's, in that the guys are going to really resent her.

I think Britt could be the Emily-type trophy wife, but I don't think that really interests her.  I honestly think if she wanted a rich, handsome and high-profile boyfriend, she would have one.

Emily definitely kept her distance, never once forgetting that her season was something her daughter was going to eventually watch.   And more importantly, Ricki's grandparents would watch.  As in, the source of all that family money that kept Emily comfortable and well taken care of until she could find a pretty husband from HER world.  Which she has done, and even has a new baby on the way.

Even with the Kalon confrontation, Emily was all composed and controlled righteous fury.  I honestly can't remember her making any mistakes or doing anything unseemly or embarrassing.  While I never really liked her very much, I think she was a great Bachelorette.

I never liked her much either, but I did admire the way she handled herself and worked the show rather than being its victim as often happens. She was always composed and ladylike but in a way the men found attractive and desirable, not off-putting.  She was excellent with Kalon and I liked her strong sense of herself, including as a mother. Unlike Kaitlyn (or Britt) she never acted like she needed anyone's approval. I personally found her kind of fake (looks and all that manipulating pre-show) but I still respected her as TB-ette and thought she did a great job. If I had a friend who was going to be TB-ette, I'd have her watch Emily's season, definitely, and maybe Trista and Andi's (except for F3 onward) as well. They made it fun for the viewers, didn't seem desperate, and were strong, confident women.

Kaitlyn did well kicking off (whatever his name was--I've already forgotten), but I'm worried that she's not leaving it alone and is going out to tell him more when she should just be letting the producers (and their bouncer) take it from there. Plus, with her skinny dipping so early on in Chris' season, and the previews we've seen from this season, it could be very easy for her to go from "confident, fun-loving, free spirit" to "tacky, tasteless, cheap" woman who kisses (and more) too freely, when it doesn't mean anything (and there are many other men to think about), making her look desperate and shallow.

Emily would have been a good role model for her, or even Trista or Andi, but these contestants never seem interested in studying others' seasons.

Kaitlyn seems (to me) to be acting overly grateful and bowled over by the attention these guys are giving her. She's an attractive girl and I can't imagine this is her first time at the rodeo, but I feel like she's acting like an ugly duckling.

I don't know which of the Busted Blockheads said this, but one of them shockingly told Kaitlyn "You're so pretty I would actually talk to you if we were out at a bar" - I agree that she's attractive but can see how that type of "compliment" could hurt her confidence.

OUCH!  that's harsh.    I think you're misinformed.  after 35 there is a higher incidence of some  birth defects, like Downs Syndrome, autism, and after 40 it's even higher.   But it's not a given, it's just statistically more likely the older you are.  The vast majority of babies born to women 35-40 are fine and healthy.

Certainly not horrific, and not "monsters"  like Sloth.

You responded much more reasonably than I was going to... thank you for that :)

"I wish they would have showed more of the stand-up. I expected it to be a lot worse than it was. The guys weren't that bad considering it was probably their first time. Amy Schumer was great! JJ = turd. I guess he's the J-Turd."

My guess is, language. A bit R-rated, maybe.

I think we got all they had that would be considered entertaining!

Well, reading these posts has really enlightened me. I seriously thought J.J. was joking, being sarcastic with all of his comments. I never suspected that was truly who he was.  I thought it was tongue in cheek!

I hated the boxing scene for the same reason everyone has mentioned. To me, the men looked VERY uncomfortable going out to the rink. I couldn't watch... These weren't men who wanted to be doing this, at least for the most part.

I also didn't like Kaitlyn's dress that was split down the front. I thought it was very unflattering.

I didn't believe Britt's romance at all. I saw it the same way another mentioned it, a way to save face and maybe stay on TV for a bit.   I want her to be happy, but she honestly seems like she is playing a role. But I could be wrong.

On to the next week!

Tony always looks dirty and greasy to me. The grease in his hair looks like enough to fry chicken - poor chicken. I wonder if he uses "healing" to keep himself "clean." He's proving to have quite a nasty attitude under that zen facade he puts out there. I'll be glad when he's sent packing, he'll probably slide right out the door, right past the awaiting van...

If Kaitlyn handles any other negative attitudes or confrontations the way she did Kupah's, it's going to be an exhausting season.   And those 4 kids she supposedly wants?  This is GREAT experience with conflict resolution and dealing with tantrums.  Keep good notes, Kaitlyn!

They played out the whole "to be continued" last season.  I hoped they'd do better with production this season, but they're not.  It's not "dramatic", it's just sloppy and annoying.

Kaitlyn reminds me of a gremlin…something about her proportions and teeth/ears/mouth/lips/body. She is a good match for this group of busted men (maybe 1 or 2 ok guys). I swear there is a hint of porno music (70s funk) in the background sometimes when she is on but I may be imaging it.

I was unhappy with her having the boxing and then not even checking on Jared after he got hurt. She should of saved the rose for him rather than rewarding the "hunk of meat" (her words). Jared looks like a rat with his scruffy facial hair but overall is decent looking (except from the slight rat like appearance).

I thought Kaitlyn was going to laugh at some of the guys sappy stories. It was like she was thinking "cue sad story blah blah blah".

That underwater PHOTO SHOOT was a lame date to take a guy on. I liked his ideas of spear fishing better. Photo shoot seems so vain and then to have to be trendy and say "everyone" is doing it underwater. Ugh!

Fake Brit seems genuinely good hearted whereas fake Kaitlin seems trashy and selfish. I'm sure they both have good and annoying qualities. Kaitlyn's creepy appearance distracts me. She isn't ugly and is sometimes pretty but there is something about her appearance that distracts me and not in a good way. I don't want to comment on her personality since I don't want to give spoilers. She can be funny but one of her jokes (I don't think it was shown) threw Britt under the bus (meow).

Girl wants FOUR kids and she is 29 or 34 or something like that…I guess she isn't going to want time to get to know the baby daddy cause she needs to get started soon.

She was always going to be The Bachelorette once the producers found out about her relationship with Nick. The fact that all the pre-arranged dates are Kaitlyn style dates AND that Nick is coming on the show, just shows the amount of bullshit they are feeding us….She knew she was going to be TB and Nick knew as well to get time off from work and now where to meet them. Not really a spoiler since the preview showed Nick showing up and that boxing date and comedy club date yell Kaitlyn and not Britt.

Reminds me of Night 1 when one of the suitors said that Britt was more of a trophy wife while Kaitlyn was more of a regular wife. Dafuq?! I remember thinking that turd probably didn't even have a job to afford a wife, trophy or otherwise.

I can't stand Emily personally but add me to those who say that Emily was a great TB. Confidence goes a long way for me, which is why I always thought Ashley was a shitty TB, even if her ending was a success.

Kaitlyn isn't a bad person, she's just been reacting and on the defensive so far.  She's letting the guys dictate the plays, not her.  She's not in control and just seems to be flailing around, waiting for them to guide her. She needs to take charge.

She could have shut Kupah down quickly & politely, but she allowed him to keep her engaged so he could make some kind of "point".

Why waste the time with him when there were other guys that weren't being so obnoxious and wanted to spend time with her?  Just clip it off, go back to the other guys and withhold the rose.  No prolonged fake drama.  But I guess THAT was the point.

She's being a good little puppet so far.

To me Clint looks like Rusty Joiner, so much so that I was wondering if Rusty was using pseudonym. But no, and it seems he does have a good career.

Chris Cupcake, however,  is on his second reality show, having been one of the models on Season 2 of Janice Dickinson's Modeling Agency. (Wait, that wasn't a real reality show either!) Apparently he went to dental school after JDMA, and of course that isn't cheap, but here he is back on TV. So you have to question how serious his career in dentistry is.

I don't mind watching the less confident/more humble type bachelorettes like Ashley and Kaitlyn.  Some people are naturally born alpha types, or have been raised that way, and some not; to me it would be boring if all the bachelorettes were the same.

Clint looks like a non-pot-smoking Bill Maher!

Ugh, had I been TB on that stupid boxing date, I would have made them stop hitting each other and have races instead around the rink...

Did Kaitlyn and Nick date?  When was that?

I'm with you on that one- while I've only watched last season, I found Andi's "I'm the centre of the universe, and the boys are my peons" attitude more than a bit grating.

And I'd guess that I'd probably react much the same way that Kaitlyn is- while most of this particular group of men does nothing for me, I'd probably be like a kid in a candy store for the first few weeks.  I find her a bit refreshing.

I've been trying to avoid spoilers, but my understanding is that the official line is that she and Nick were casual acquaintances before filming began.

So far Ian and Dr. Cupcake are my faves.  Clint seems mellow and laid back, he's growing on me too.  Welder guy is up there too.

JJ has a pretty high estimation of himself for a guy who is unemployed and living with his parents.  Kaitlyn could use some of his confidence (the guys are there to impress you, not the other way around!!).  I did love her dress for the underwater date.

Add me to the list who would love to see Amy Shumer as the next Bachelorette!  That would be awesome!

I actually agreed with Tony about the boxing neanderthals, but his overly earnest approach to absolutely everything is exhausting.  Lighten up, yoga is supposed to teach you to not take everything so seriously and go with the flow.

I hate myself for saying it but I like Britt and Brady.  I think Britt made out far better that Kaitlyn this season.

I know "Amy Schumer for Bachelorette" is the popular thing to say right now, but in reality it would be dull as hell after two episodes. There's only so much entertainment in making fun of a dwindling number of the same guys. Her show is great; just watch that.

What's with all the sob stories within 30 minutes of knowing the other person?

I know alot of women *cough* Andi *cough* like jocks like Ben Z but they do absolutely nothing for me, I read right through these morons. "Oh I just won a fighting competition now I'm gonna sit on this couch with you and tell you I like to cook and my mom died." Ugh, /barf.

I actually thought this was one of the most natural/organic ways for a Bach to talk about the death in their family that I have seen on this show.

Britt and Brady - ugh I seriously do not care about them at all.  I feel indignant that Britt is getting exactly what she wants, ie. more time being on TV.  I see her as so totally phony.  Acting!! (said in Jon Lovitz voice).   The scenes of them on their dates walking, holding hands, eating an ice cream cone, making googly eyes at each other seemed so fake and overdone.  Cue music:  "Something tells me I'm into something good.... "

WORD!  Ugh is this going to be a thing from now on?  Every time the credits roll they are going to show clips of these to A-holes?  I wish they would go back to showing the bloopers and outtakes from the episode.  Those were funny--these two not so much.  And I just know they are going to milk their 15 minutes of fame at the MTA and/or ATR ceremony.

On the Britt/Kaitlyn comparisons, because I see it so much in this forum: Although I wish Kaitlyn had an air of confidence like Emily, the show took away any feeling of control these girls had by pitting them against each other and making them "earn" it. Kaitlyn is obviously still feeling like she has to earn her right to be there and that is so disheartening. It's obvious the show boxed her as the girl with the great personality versus Britt's Great Beauty and no matter what any woman says, deep down, that's always a shitty feeling. Especially when Kaitlyn had more fan support last season. Of course the truth is that Britt is stunningly beautiful - she might be the best looking contestant this show has ever had - but that is the only reason the show is keeping her around and that is annoying. I would not be surprised if Britt ends up being the Bachelorette at some point. Brady's time will run out as soon as the hype dies down and the cameras go away.

Having said all of that, I am enjoying this season and find myself actually laughing out loud at some of the goings on, this episode in particular. Whether Kaitlyn is "fake" or not, I am enjoying her and I am rooting for her. Clint won me over a little bit this ep even though I am not fond of his friendship with JJ. LOL at whoever said "villains gotta vill" - these guys are obviously here for TV (duh) and know what they need to do to keep it interesting. They're hitting all the marks. And somehow, knowing they know that, makes this more fun to watch. Can't wait for next week.

I think it's hilarious that the producers are getting us to think one girl is fake and one girl is real. The footage is edited and the participants' behavior manipulated to create the story line (otherwise the show could be aired in almost real time, rather than wait til until the filming of "the journey" is finished before putting the episodes together). We are not seeing the real Kaitlyn or the real Britt, we are seeing what TPTB want to show us as they develop story lines.

I don't think Britt will be the next B'ette--but I predict a Brady Loves Britt reality show is already being discussed. Just too much alliterative potential there, and the wholesomeness factor is off the charts!

I don't blame Kupah one bit for enjoying his time with Laila Ali! Perhaps he was arguing with the producer in the driveway at the end, about getting her phone number.

I hope the relationship is real, but wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't contrived for a saving face situation for the rejected Britt.  If it is real, there is actually more potential for it to work than the typical Bachelorette "journey".  If it is still going on, they must have been seeing each other for a couple of months now.

It seems legit.  She's met his family & friends, and they've both travelled to see the other.  No telling how long it will last, but all the stuff outside of the show-sanctioned video and interaction seems to indicate they are pretty into each other.  I think they're cute and hope their relationship is what they want it to be.

What I'm having a hard time with is the fact that Britt and Brady have cameras on them.  What kind of contract do they sign when going on the show?  You would think that once the rejected Bachelorette leaves the mansion and exits the limo, she'd leave the cameras behind.  What interest would the rejected have for the show?  Do they sign a contract agreeing to have cameras on them for the full duration of the show even if they are asked to leave?  There's a camera on her when she phones her mother.  And isn't it a nice coincidence that Brady knocks on her door just when she hangs up!  Such timing.

So then the two of them decide to hang around with one another.  Why would Britt want a camera around, if she is out of contract and not getting paid?  I'd tell the cameraman and producer to bug off.

The whole thing says "staged" to me.

I personally don't see Kaitlyn as having any real self-esteem issues, and I appreciate watching a Bachelorette who doesn't very obviously consider herself to be a huge prize or trophy.  She understands that she is a regular person, and women like Emily and Britt don't seem to understand that about themselves.  For me, the line between confidence and arrogance is incredibly thin, and once I start to get the vibe that someone is overly conceited, they instantly lose huge attractiveness points with me.  I thought I would like Sofia Vergara in interviews, but she is so openly "confident" about her looks that now I just see a woman with a really weird, pinched face who wouldn't be nearly as attractive without all that hair.

I expect there are definitely some dollah dollah bills involved with the continued filming of Britt and Brady, even if it's just in the form of the show paying for their accommodations and meals.

  • Love 10

Britt seems like one of those women who would rather be with any guy on a Saturday night than home alone without a date.

I think this is "Saturday night" and Brady is "any guy". I also think with her fake sweetness (but at least very consistent), she realizes how good it is for her image v. Kaitlyn's (Britt effortlessly found a way to stay in control of her image, stay on camera, and show off as another contestant's "gf" while Kaitlyn struggles with many losers--and few gems--every week plus guaranteed awkward and embarrassing situations). I'm sure Britt feels the narrative of "Brady + Britt" gives her a winner's edit after all, but I don't believe that an untalented, seemingly not too bright, unkempt-looking guy is really her type.

As for Kaitlyn-type bachelorette (imo, a less likeable version of Ashley) v. Emily/Andi/Trista, the reason I prefer the confident ones is that it makes for a better show. It just becomes unwatchable when the men act like Bentley or Kumah, as if they think TB-ette isn't good enough for them. Humility from the men--and really wanting a relationship with "this amazing woman"--is so much more enjoyable to watch than someone condescendingly saying, "Eh,you're not bad-looking, kind of pretty actually [at which point she is supposed to look flattered and happy to have gotten his attention]. I'd even go over and talk to you in a bar."

I don't envy starting out with the show giving the men the idea their preference was so important--and leaving some of them disappointed thinking they were being left with second best. Kaitlyn has some confidence--and I liked the way she threw out Kumah (so far)--but I just don't think it's enough. To deal with this show and its mind games, you need a lot.

Wise words!

Both are fake and real. The fake: both girls knew in advance who was going to be The Bachlorette. I would not be surprised if Britt knew she would get a story (just a guess).

I have read that Kaitlin and Nick face time each other most nights (began sometime during the airing of Chris's season).

All of the scenes of both Britt and Kaitlyn are highly edited. Laila Ali is a much better catch than Kaitlyn. LOL

That JJ reminds me of the guy from American Psycho. Hopefully they are keeping him around for drama not because she actually likes him. What happened to that guy blowing up at the end? If he'd just kept his mouth shut, he would have been fine. What a weirdo. He came across as a control freak. Count me in on hating the boxing too. She should have called Ben Z. out on his being the biggest guy and actual fighting everyone too hard. Total bully move and not cool.

I don't think she's suffering from low self esteem, but she could dial back the just one of the guys self deprecating  attitude that pops out.    I personally find her laid back style appealing, but she's pretty self conscious and awkward a lot of the time.

She should be styled better, too.   That one's on the show.   Her wardrobe so far has been shitastic.

Speaking of styling,   and it pisses me off that two eliminated people hang around like dying roaches, it's good that Brady can fit into Britt's skinny jeans.   She's pretty poorly dressed, but he just takes the cake for worst dressed.    Even greasy ass looking Tony has clothing that's not douchey, it's just looks filthy.

Oh, and are they sequestering Kaitlyn in some sort of farm building on a hill?    That looks like an out building you'd keep machinery in.

Agree wholeheartedly re: her styling.

I think Kaitlyn lacks elegance. That J Lo wannabe dress was bad and the one that cut in made it look skanky instead of sexy. Had it just shown her back, would have been great.

Hair off topic, but my memory fails why the virgin Becca was not a contender. She could be socially awkward sometimes, but I was struck by her beauty so often.

Tony is great TV. And I think he's buying what he's selling which makes it fantastic. What an odd bird. Funny thing about the Tonester, occasionally he spouts wise words and it makes my brain confused.

As women we always hear things such as "guys love the chase" and other things that as I get older make me want to hit a wall. It goes both ways. If you got the date rose, don't sit your average smug face down and talk. Back off, JJ. Too much, you're boring.

I'm reluctant to say this bc I know it's fucked up on my part and common, but...I've always looked a tinge down on people who hold their nose when in the pool. It's likely a sign of my pool/swim youth, but her nose holding and massive bubble blowing blew (ha!) a lot of would be decent pics. That guy was a hell of a sport though.

I didn't think Kaitlyn looked skanky in the cocktail dress, I just thought it looked like a sack on her. I'm noticing that she's a very skinny he's a skinny woman without any curves and so that kind of heavy, beaded dress just sort of weighed her down and made it look like she was dragging the dress more than wearing it. Whoever is styling her for the season is not doing a great job so far of finding things that work for her body. Honestly, she did better during Chris' season where I often thought she looked great.

Becca was F2, and because the Bachelorette is announced on the ATFR episode of The Bachelor, the F2 is usually shit out of luck because she still has to pretend to be heartbroken over losing the Bachelor's love. Also, while I agree that she's gorgeous, I think Becca is a bit too low key to be a lead. If she had been pitted against Britt, she probably would have said "meh" and walked away.

I am digging Kaitlan as the Bachelorette. She seems way more fun than Britt. I don't give a rats ass whether she's serious about finding a husband, I only care about entertainment on my tv. Plus count me as someone over seeing the Brady, Britt romance. His creepy nasally voice just rubs me the wrong way.

Aw Tony you talk and talk and talk and talk and actually think you sound intelligent. He is perfect for Kelsey from last season.

Not that I was distracted from the get-go by JJ's nose, but all he is missing is a cup of coffee, a cigarette lighter and William Holden.

Brady is potentially the show's third dip into the washed-out minor league baseball player who didn't make it past A-ball ending up in the "winner's circle" (following in the proud footsteps of Desiree's Chris Siegfried with Cubs and Josh Murray with Brewers). Toops was a backup catcher for a few years in the Cardinals system in the mid-'00s (I just can't call them "aughties") ... I actually saw his team play but don't remember him, probably because he was ridin' the pine all season (but a star-studded lineup).

Personally, I think the cutest guy there is Jonathan but I need no further proof that he's fodder than a) they never showed "alone time" between them and b) I don't think his name has come up here in the first 140 posts. Next rose ceremony, farewell Jonathan, we barely knew ye.

Trying to make an early guess as to who they'll cull from the loser crew to be next Bachelor, I'm torn between Cupcake Chris (he really is adorable) and dreamy Ian (especially if they might finally be ready to edge ever so slightly into having a "chooser" that has even a soupcon of color). I just can't figure out why either of them would NEED this, though.

Is Jonathan the black guy with the young son? Because if so, honestly, I got the feeling between the first two episodes that dude is just there for the adventure that includes some free trips and making some nice bromances/friendships. Because he was the one who was very vocal about wanting it to be Britt, stated so repeatedly and once Kaitlyn came out as the one picked, he was more worried about her not knowing he voted for Britt that getting to know her and spend time with her and his whole attitude during the first rose ceremony was that he just really didn't want to go home yet and have the adventure end. So yeah... I don't get the impression Jonathan has any more interest in Kaitlyn as she has in him.

Goodness. I didn't realize how revered the title of The Bachelor/The Bachelorette was. I mean, this is the show that has had the cream of the crop in terms of bachelor leads like Bob, Juan Pablo, and Ben Flajnik. And yet Kaitlyn gets so much grief for not being Emily or whatever paragon we expect women in this position to be. We hold women to such a different standard than men who seem to get away with being painfully average.

This show hasn't been about finding a spouse in years. So far I'm getting what I'd expect from the show: ridiculous dates that have no bearing on real life, OTT guys who are about the win more than the girl, awful styling, and drama. So far so good.

Good point, but I think that there are two very different criticisms of Kaitlyn. One is that she is not good looking enough to be the lead. And i agree with you in that I think she is a much better looking lead than Bob or Ben.

But I think that the other criticism about Kaitlyn is more valid (and I don't think it is sexist): that Kaitlyn should act with more

confidence. I didn't find a single likeable thing about Ben, and didn't find Bob to be particularly "bachelor worthy" either. But where Emily, Ben, and Bob succeeded where Kaitlyn so far has not is that they at least acted as if they were worthy. If the lead starts out looking like she/he isn't worthy, why should any of us watch?

Why waste the time with him when there were other guys that weren't being so obnoxious and wanted to spend time with her?  Just clip it off, go back to the other guys and withhold the rose.  No prolonged fake drama.  But I guess THAT was the point.

I can kind of go either way on this. I think she probably should have just cut him at the rose ceremony, but she probably didn't know he was going to respond quite the way he did - although he certainly showed flashes of a temper (in my opinion anyway) when he was grilling her about her connection to him. On the one hand she should've just walked away and stopped the drama, but on the other hand I got a huge laugh out of Kupah's whiney "but I don't wanna go yet" (paraphrasing), so it was almost worth it for that.

I think Kaitlyn did in essence walk away and was likely going to eliminate Kupah at the rose ceremony, when she left him and went off alone to think. But then he went and ran his mouth off really loudly, again judging her in the process and she just came out, asked to speak to him alone and told him he had to go. I agreed with the guys on Afterbuzz (the 10 minutes I watched because that show is really, really awful) that compare her reaction to Andi in response to Eric where she started yelling, then proceeded to go yell at the guys who did nothing wrong and tell them they could walk their asses out if they question her, etc.

All Kaitlyn did was bring Kupah to the door and tell him fairly calmly that yeah this doesn't make sense, and he needs to leave now. I actually thought she handled it fairly well, especially when it seemed like he wasn't going to leave. Now okay, her looking like she's heading out to defend the producers is kind of funny but I'll wait for next week to judge whatever happens there.

As for the confidence issues, YMMV but I'm not seeing this huge lack of confidence on Kaitlyn's part. Yes, at the start of the episode she was still talking about being grateful for the opportunity and that the guys picked her but I think we need to remember that this was all very quick. I think the first night was filmed like a week or two after the announcement at the ATFR and then pictures of the boxing date was maybe a day or two after that. So in other words, there were all these emotions and nerves and then a quick turnaround for Kaitlyn to go from having to compete with Britt, which sucked, to then be the lead and act like the lead.

And all that said, I still don't feel like she's acting like she's not worthy. She just seems grateful.  I'm not seeing any desperation on her part, I'm not seeing this overwhelming desperation to get the guys to love her. On the boxing date I thought she handled that very well and did a great job as the lead where she went up to some guys while they were training, some came to her, she used the training to talk to them, get to know them, then she talked and laughed with Laila, I liked her telling them not to hurt each other before the matches started (Ben Z., clearly not getting the memo).

During the night portion I thought she acted like any other lead. I also liked how casual and real she and Clint seemed in the car together. I wonder if for some, Kaitlyn's perceived lack of confidence is her too relaxed, laid back style. Like some feel there should be some air of superiority if you will from her, some glamour and they're not seeing that.

That air of superiority is exactly what I didn't like about St. Emily or Andi. And the lack of it is why I love Kaitlyn. Everyone has their own tastes, obviously, but I find Katilyn to be a breath of fresh air. She's...normal. A little insecure, and who wouldn't be knowing that some of the guys there, possibly the guy you are falling for, wanted Britt more? A little confident, I think the way she handled Kupa showed great confidence. She didn't back down, she let him say his piece, and tried to take some time to think about what he said, then, when he started ranting to the other guys, she went and nipped it in the bud. She really won me over then. I thought it was very well handled. I can't wait to see what she's headed off to do next, though I hate that it ended on a cliffhanger.
