Popular Post Tigregirl June 28, 2020 Popular Post Share June 28, 2020 I think Joy and Austin enjoy that little guy so much. Gideon just seems like such a happy child that I would have a hard time believing they used any type of blanket training with him. I hope they keep their family at a size where they won’t get overwhelmed and unable to really be present with their kids. Joy’s posts about Annabelle tear my heart out. Such a difficult thing for such young parents to go through. Popular Post BetyBee June 28, 2020 Popular Post Share June 28, 2020 I remember just prior to courting, when Joy was acting like such a bimbo. In particular, I remember her acting dumb in one of the planes. At the time I wondered what had happened to confident, tomboy Joy? I believe we discussed her getting her marching orders to dummy up and get a man. Well, she did and I think Austin likes the tomboy part of Joy and she's free to work and help with outdoor stuff and putting things together by herself, instead of acting helpless! She seems more confident in her video. The terrible loss of their baby girl seems to have brought them closer together and if anything, made them more appreciative of their sweet little boy. I hope they are happy, that they don't have more kids than they can handle and that they don't blanket train! 32 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/51212-joy-and-austin-this-one-time-at-family-camp/page/163/#findComment-6203279

I wonder how happy and secure he'll feel when he's one of a dozen and his parents have neither the time nor the energy to give him much personalized attention. It's absolutely true that love can multiply to infinity. However, attention has to be divided, and if they continue having another child as often as possible, his happiness and security may become a distant memory. ☹️ 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/51212-joy-and-austin-this-one-time-at-family-camp/page/163/#findComment-6205999

And Carlin, first FL and now AR. Are they planning on visiting AZ and TX next? It didn't look safe, and there are pictures in the Carlin thread in the Bringing Up Bates thread. Recently, most airlines, other than Delta and Southwest, announced that they would now be selling every seat on the plane, even the middle ones which had been left open to facilitate distancing. Most airlines do require passengers to wear masks, but, of course, kids under 2 are exempt. Most experts recommend flying only when absolutely necessary and wearing a mask and eye protection the entire time. In addition, it is also recommended that passengers bring their own sanitizing wipes and wipe down the seat, armrests, tray tables and seatbelts before touching any of them. And, of course, do not eat or drink on the plane, particularly do not eat or drink the airline's catered food. I'd also be willing to bet that Carlin didn't purchase an actual seat for her child, but instead held her on her lap unbelted the whole way. That being the case, flying commercial is a lot riskier than a private plane. Does anyone think they did any of those things?
