If Mr. and Mrs. Baaaaabe have more than 4, I'll be shocked.  I honestly don't think any of the sons in law (and definitely Joshley) are interested in fielding an Army. Yes, they may have larger than typical current families but I just dont see any of them hitting double digits...and especially considering the size of all these babies, I'm not certain it would even be physically possible for the SisterMoms to repeatedly give birth in a quiverful manner.

I could see Jinger and Jeremy with more than four. Especially if they have a few to start and then at least one later in life. I agree with you they won't have double digits.

As for the others, remember they're going to have as many God will give them. So it wouldn't surprise me if they ended up with double digits.

Well, these girls are not going to hold up as well as Michelle when it comes to dozens of births. I think three babies would be more than Joy can handle, and Ben better get busy and make some money if they really do have a third on the way.  Nothing like being a college student while wifey is building an army!  They would be up a creek without TLC.

I expect Jeremy is conflicted too, but in another way. I'm sure he can't stand the actual Duggar family. He sees himself as cool, academically-minded, upper-crusty, trendy and hip and they're proudly ignorant total hicks and bumpkins. Plus, he wants to be boss. And Duggardom recognizes only THE BOSS. (unfortunately not Bruce!!! but Jizm Bob (incentivized to an unknown degree by Meeechelle, of course.)

However, Jer and the Duggars largely share the same religious outlook. And, by extension, share a lot of the same community and potential fandom. So I'm equally sure that he fully intended and intends to ride to an influential religious career partly on the back of their fame.

So he has to be part of it, even while it makes him go "ewwwww" -- pretty constantly, I'll bet, while he's in their presence.

I mean, the option clearly does exist to marry in and move with your Duggarling spouse to another city, decline most Duggar family visits and politely bow out of the TeeVee appearances. But Jer wants those TeeVee appearances and the Duggar connection for his own career reasons (and the bucks). So he has to make nice to a degree he'd much rather not while privately absolutely loathing them, I expect. They suck all the class out of his favorite religion, for one thing. And, by extension, out of him.

It has to be driving him crazy. ..... But he'd be currently -- and possibly permanently -- broke without them. And I'm pretty sure he believes (or at least fearfully suspects) that (despite his big ego).

The only thing that makes sense @Churchhoney is that he did marry a Duggar for the notoriety, fame, publicity and financial freedom that would help him reach  some lofty goal.  But, in doing so, he sold his soul to the devil. and he'll continue to pay the price as he continues to fall deeper into the Duggar rabbit hole.

I am so suspicious of his motive for marrying Jinger. It just seems contrived. He already had connections in the ministry through his father Did he need to associate himself with a family  of dull lazy-assed kids, a molester, a psychotic mother and fame whore father, and let's not forget , 2 other wannabe ministers? It had to be about money.  Don't get me wrong, I think they genuinely care for each other, but it will be interesting to see how the marriage will fare if Jeremy is continually disappointed in his career "plans", and the money from the show ends.

Jeremy thinks so highly of himself that he imagines he is destined for great things, but unless I've missed something, he's done nothing to strive for them, except read. OK, reading is a good thing, but if you want to minister, get a degree, be more active in your own church, put yourself out there in a way that will bring people into the flock. Being on a television reality show with a bunch of yokels will not help him on his "chosen" path.

In  many ways. he's no better than Derick. Only cleaner, better dressed, and has a mother who isn't Cathy.

Don't forget he wanted a meek wife who thinks the world resolves around him, thinks he is the greatest thing to come down the turnpike since sliced bread, and also believes the sun does not come up until he gets up in the morning.

That picture shows the kitchen inside Jeremy's church, not the home where they live.

That's the newly painted kitchen in Jinger's new house. I remember them lining the spices on the window ledge and the drawers at the bottom of the cabinet under the sink. Also, I'm playing catch up so this may have been pointed out already. :)

All that work done in the kitchen and they plop their Berkey water filter on an upside down old pot and have to pull it to the front of the counter because it won't fit under the cabinet. Not only is it ugly and a waste of counter space - how the heck do you get the cabinet door open with that thing sitting there?

Someone needs to tell them they make all kinds of floor stands to hold those things and they're not very expensive.

Jill looks like she is trying to catch flies in her mouth.

Is that what that is? For the life of me I could  not figure  out what  they had put on top of an old wash tub .

Is Jinger so short of cabinet and counter space that she had to line up spice bottles near the sink?  Washing pots and pans (that can't go in the dishwasher) can be splashy and I would be constantly wiping down those little bottles!

plus all the light from the window won't do them any good either.

Yeah, and they're expensive, too. Hundreds of dollars. I guess they had to draw the line when they bought it ... $300 for a water filter and a .50¢ old tub to sit it on so they can waste half their counter and block one of their cabinets forever rather than invest another $30-40 dollars in a stand that would sit on the floor.

Maybe they could stack up a bunch of Jeremy's giant books in the corner and put the Berkey on that.

I was questioning the location when they were lining them up. Was that Jessa's idea to put them there? I'm thinking she just saw an open space & decided. They aren't even near the stove where they would be used the most & I'm sure Jinge doesn't use all the ones displayed.  She should  keep out the ones frequently used & put the others in a cabinet.

All I could think of when Jessa was acting so bossy about the kitchen was for her to go home & worry about her own kitchen.  I wonder if she had any input when they did the mold house renovations or did she just have to go with what JB found on the cheap?

Yum!  Flies.  Jill is just goofy with those stupid expressions.

Blocking a cabinet is just dumb.  Headship Jeremy should have pointed that out.  He's slipping.

What would Jeremy do if Jinger beat him at something, like say a sport?  I wonder.  I mean Jim Bob knows Michelle is better at most athletics, I think, so he doesn't challenge her.  Jessa doesn't seems all that interested so Ben doesn't have to worry and I don't think Derrick and Jill are all that physical and if they were I see Jill letting him win to avoid drama.  I just wonder how Jeremy would react.  Angrily or would he never stop talking about how Jinger "is the greatest so and so player ever?  Olympic caliber!". Personally, i could really see it going either way.

I don’t think Jinger will have a billion kids. Her sisters (and SILs) have literally nothing else to do*, but Jinger has seen all the fun things there are to do in the world (sort of), and that’s hard to do when you’re constantly gestating. I’m thinking four is about their limit, probably with a couple years between each one.

*I’m thinking specifically about Joy and Kendra who really didn’t seem to know what to do once they were married and on their own, so why not get pregnant. Joy, especially, didn’t ever look like she wanted a baby, but she had to have one, cause that’s what Duggars do.

The writing on that chalkboard drives me nuts. The spacing is all wonky and I hate the way BABY is crooked with that ugly afterthought of a flourish on the Y. Also I think the current fruit/vegetable example should be drawn below the “is the size of...”

I realize Jinger’s education was a disgrace, but aren’t there at least a quarter of a million examples of nice chalkboard design on Pinterest? She probably doesn’t do much all day. She could use that time to practice cutesy handwriting styles. If you’re going to be basic, at least be awesomely basic.

I get what you're saying, but I think this way it is easier to erase parts of the board to update rather than the entire board.

Everyone I've known that either put in a central vac or bought a house that had one has hated it due to the amount of work dragging the hose around, moving it, etc.  And then when they act up, they, at least to my friends, suck to try and get repaired.  My headship got me a robot vacuum for Yule this year and I LOVE it.  I just have to remember to take up the bath mat and let that sucker go.  But alas, I have yet to get any of the cats to ride it yet.

Those things look cool.  I read a really funny story about a woman that had one that did its thing in the middle of the night.  One night her dog had a bad case of diarrhea and what she woke up to was a nightmare.  Schmeared all over the place.  It was really funny but I imagine not if you have to deal with it.

I would be weird about my spices being so close to the sink.  I know they are sealed and all but for some reason I don't like this.

Sure, but she could easily do that and make it less ugly! The use of space is really bizarre for someone who’s supposedly a photographer and should know about composition.

Good eye Celia Rubenstein on the old pot.  I was blinded by all the white - white walls, sink, back splash floor - GET SOME COLOR!  I feel like I'm in a room where they're going to give me a strait jacket to wear.

I have no clue how to get that cabinet open, not to mention the one next to it, because it looks like the onion hanger is in front of that door.  Get a stand for the massively expensive filter or perhaps a brita type pitcher instead.

I can't help it - every time I see Jill with her surprised wide open mouth all I can think of is - blow up doll - off to the prayer closet.

Horrid place for those spices.  One - they shouldn't be exposed to direct sunlight, but I know I would knock half of them off every time I tried to open the blinds, and I'm sure I'd knock one off into the sink full of water under it at least once a week flooding the jar and having to toss it.

Well, it's not as if she's had any formal EDUCATION in either photography or art composition. She just followed someone around for a couple of hours and became an expert!

I’m not a hardcore Duggar-hater but that mindset really grinds my gears! You can take Intro Photography for like $300 at a Texas community college and I promise they won’t even try to corrupt your soul! AND the class will be taught by a real MFA who’s probably made money on their work and I’m like 99% certain that MFA doesn’t stand for Making Fotographers Atheists.

I hate that I am defending them somewhat but where I live no one drinks the tap water without a filter.  It is awful tasting.  It was a surprise when I moved here over 30 years ago because I grew up drinking fantastic tap water.  So maybe Ark water is just as lousy as Santa Barbara water.

Hee! You would go absolutely bonkers in Sweden, everything is white! Not just the kitchens but entire houses and flats. Has been for almost two decades and it's not going away; if anything it is getting more pronounced. I'm used to it and rather like it even though it can get a bit boring at times, but then I prefer lighter interiors in general and can't stand the Duggars' usual design choices of dark ornate wood and leather, drab walls and busy patterns on countertops and the like. I just find their style depressing. Jinger's kitchen is by far the most aesthetically pleasing to me compared to the other Duggarling homes.

The main thing I noticed is Jin's hair looks wavy, like she's stopped flat-ironing it.  It also looks really dark, but I can't believe she would dye it while pregnant.

At least the black shirt is minimizing (not that she needs it to look skinny) and she didn't take the pic herself while holding her phone.  Talking about you Jessa!
