I love Jinger's dress. Although polyester is awfully hot for summer.

Can someone tell if Abby's hair is natural curly?  If not, she must need to spend hours curling it.

Those curls are natural. I’m sure she uses a defining product like most curly haired gals but her hair is curly.

I think it's genuine.  It looks like my hair.

Jingle is most definitely highlighting her hair. Her natural color is a flat medium brown, not a warm honey.

FWIW, I think it looks amazing. It appears to be a salon job, not a DIY from a box of Frost and Glow.

When Abbie has the right products in her hair, her curls are really pretty. I love Jinger's caption for the picture. It's nice to see a Duggar experience true happiness, especially after the misery of Josiah's wedding.

I rather suspect she's NOT coloring her hair (isn't that something you're not supposed to do when pregnant now?) I seem to recall her hair always being so heavily and flatly dark that I assumed she was using a shelf-brand color that was too dark for her. Her hair color now is similar to Jessa's, Jana's and Jill's.

I think she’s cold in the AC. I’m ALWAYS cold when the AC is blasting and keep a cardigan in my work purse during the summer.

Jinger's hair looked so damaged before compared to now that I sort of figure she must be doing something to it profresssionally, so highlights don't seem out of the realm of possibility. In some photos it also doesn't seem as long as her sisters', so sometimes I wonder if she might have gotten a slight trim as well.

I think Jinger looks wonderful.  Semi-permanent highlights are usually just fine for pregnant women past their first trimester, based on what my doctor told me many years ago.  I don't think that's changed as long as you stay away from the ammonia-based colors. 

Abbie has a great smile, and JD looks totally smitten, so that's nice to see.  I hope she doesn't turn out to be a serious hard-core fundie that's going to ride him unmercifully once they get hitched. JD has always seemed laid back enough to just want a woman he likes, a job he's into, a few cute kids and for people to generally leave him the hell alone.  *LOL*  Just my take on him.

Pregnant women can dye their hair.  Some pregnant women are bothered by the fumes and should open the windows or use a fan; but it’s not harmful to the baby.

In the previous photo her hair is straight, though. In the recent one it's been curled. I've seen other (recent) pics where it looks longer, so I've been undecided as to whether she's really cut it. Maybe she has, since it's clearly nowhere near as long as the hot mess on Jill or Jessa's heads.

Jessa and Jill are just a mess. And to think Jessa was the "hot daughter" at one point.

I think Jessa is one of those people who was a beautiful child and skated through adolescence and early adulthood on the basis of her looks, and now it's caught up to her.

Hopefully she's not hard core fundie.  But I wonder if her family is not hard core Gothardites.  After all, her family picture was featured on the ATI home page.

The family is definitely hardcore Gothardites. Oddly though, they don't seem totally opposed to letting their daughters out of the house. I stalked a few of their FB pages and Abbie has a sister who also attended technical school and works at a daycare.

The more children in the hard-core fundie fam, the better the chance that at least 1 will buck the system a little and relax the standards.  Jinger was the first Dugger, so maybe Abbie will be thus inclined to unbend a little.  I hope so for JD's sake.  Though he'll be in charge, he just never seemed the one who wanted to be.

Goodness, did you notice the condition of her skin in the Joe/Kendra birth special? It looked nearly pock marked from acne. I think in recent years she's always had bad skin, but I was sort of shocked.

Jinger used to have troublesome skin, however her recent pics with little makeup on look great, like this one with Abbie & JD.  

All of them caked on the foundation so thickly a few years back, pre-marriage I think, it was hard to tell what was really happening on their faces.  Plus the extra-dark fake tans didn't help.  I think they've all backed off both coatings and did themselves a favor.

I have a feeling she is eating a much better diet than she used to in addition to prenatal vitamins (I hope). Jeremy doesn't strike me as the type who would tolerate tot casserole for dinner or some of those questionable recipes Jill comes up with.

That's a persistent myth, but a myth nonetheless. Highlights are perfectly fine for pregnant women, as are permanent and semi-permanent full dye jobs. There has never been any established link between hair coloring and any adverse effect. Lots of people don't do it out of an abundance of caution, but fear of hair dye while pregnant is scientifically unfounded thus far.

Italians take their food very seriously. If he had a Nonna that made him fresh food all the time the last thing he would ever eat would be goop on a plate aka tater tot casserole.

I was absent the day they taught us how to look at a pregnant woman to see if she'd 'dropped', so I don't put a lot of stock in it. 

Most pregnant women do come to a point where they feel that the baby is lower than it had been before and that is called 'lightening'.  I do believe in that and it can signal that labor is imminent, but it can also happen weeks before the baby comes.

Well, if no Duggar or OfDuggar is pregnant, then they are slacking and not doing their job which is to pump out grandchildren for JB. He doesn't provide all that housing for his offspring without expecting production in return.
