I had no idea they went to Salem on their Fall cast trip. I live up that way and didn't hear a word about it!!

When I saw this was coming back on May fourth I got all giddy, then watching the trailer and seeing what looks like a repeat of last season the giddy turned to disappointment...  Leah gets drunk, Leah calls the OG's 'old', Leah makes crass remarks, etc.  I know I said I wouldn't watch this season if Leah is in the cast but desperation drives me back to this once again.  (I don't know for how long)  There's something about Leah I just don't like.  She seems like a spoiled 16 yr old who is always acting out to get attention.  (is acting out the right term? That doesn't sound right for some reason) 

I don't understand the new woman's problem with the use of 'help'.  You hire people to help you, right? This sounds like someone's 'trying to be offended' for camera time.  Other than the obvious ones, I have no idea what's wrong to say and what's right in today's world! (and I never want to hurt anyone's feelings or offend them)

Heather always had that weird prissiness about her that I never liked. I can't say I wholeheartedly disliked her but the prissiness (wake UP, get UP) combined with her desire to come off like a street hood (don't tell me anything motherf*cker) really bugged me. UGH.

I kind of can't wait to see the Leah showdown (rubs hands together) 😄

I can 100% believe that Heather got herself into some condescending faux pas meaning to be benevolent. However, Leah is a toxic sludge pile island composed of plastic, fatberg, and heavy metals actually poisoning everything around her so I'm always going to be skeptical of anything coming from her and never want to side with her. I'll wait and see.

Agree. Heather hasn't always been perfect but she is way better than Leah. And I can totally see Leah acting afool for some camera time and Heather calling her out.

Without context, it's hard to say exactly, but since it's Ramona, I'm probably right. I'm guessing Eboni's dislike of Ramona saying "the help," is that it sounds dehumanizing. Yes, you do hire people to help you, but they're not "the help." I wouldn't be surprised if Ramona didn't bother to learn the names of her staff. Or that she sees them all as interchangeable, so even if she did learn their names, it wouldn't stick because they're just there to do her bidding.

Ramona said "I get my help wrong" when she called one of the staffers helping serve a meal in her home the wrong name. To be fair, I think they call in hospitality for filming dinner scenes and everyone except for Eboni appeared to be blonde and wearing a mask. I don't think these are people regularly in Ramona's employ. She's made some gaffes but I think they blew this one a little out of proportion.

Agreed.  I don't think Ramona is a racist...I think she's an elitist.

Neither is good for mankind, IMO, but I do give Ramona props for being socially open minded.  I recently rewatched S1-3 and a bit of S4.  I can't recall the episode but Ramona ond others were talking about someone being gay and marrying.  Ramona was the first to chime in - if that's what they want and it makes them happy, go for it!  

I know Ramona is a Republican but I think mostly for economic policy reasons. She's definately a liberal in other areas.

She might align most closely with libertarians...do what you want so long as it doesn't hurt anyone else.

Interesting that Ramona was on the open-restaurants bandwagon for months and months. She talks somewhere about the risk in comparison to the devasting effects closing has on people in other ways, depression, suicide, bankruptcy.  

Leah was on the other end in the spring/summer but this fall she has gotten on the open-restaurants kick as well and she and Ramona seem to be in a reasonable place. I wonder if she took a nod from Ramona.

I feel Ramona does her homework - at least better than the others and makes relatively informed decisions.

I generally like Ramona, but I do NOT like the elitist side of her. Having said that, she ain't the only one. She's just more transparent about it. She doesn't filter herself like the others, and this makes her more authentic.

And, that is one of the reasons I do like her.  What is that?? An infinity circle of like/dislike/neutrality toward Ramona?

I'm getting old. I've been a Bravo watcher since the early days with Project Runway.  I used to like Andy and gave him props for running a network that was more culturally "open" than the major networks.  I still think Bravo has had a tremendous - and mostly positive - impact on certain things.

But, now-a-days, Andy just skeeves me out. 

Just because he likes to bang young men, doesn't mean the rest of us want to be part of that ride. Ugh. Go sell yourself and your sexual interests on some porn channel or something. Just keep it out of the Bravosphere.

Oh, and how he manipulates cast members has become more and more apparent the last few  years (to me, anyway), and me no likey.

I'm not sure I dislike Andy in his hosting jobs (reunions and WWHL). I think he does a good job with both, but I don't think I care for him as a person or Bravo executive any more.

I’m getting old too, I remember the Bravo of the late 90s and early 00s when the focus was more on performing arts. I remember a program for young people called Bravo On with the Show. I dated a guy who was in shows around that time. It was an experience 😊

Well, he was in Disney productions and let’s just say the knife ran away with the spoon 😆 He was under Disney NDA and couldn’t tell me any of the “magic” but I saw the show enough times to figure out that the Beast wore a special breakaway mask and costume for the transformation scene and the actor was strung up on cables and flown around the stage. Chip was pushed around in a little mirrored cart to make it look like he was just a face on a teacup. Other than that it was pretty straightforward stagecraft, mostly smoke, lights and lack of light to hide the magic ☺️ It was kind of the same with Lion King, they used a lot of light and lack of light and distraction tactics.
