That first conversation between Lu and Dorinda was so awkward! I think Dorinda is a lot of bluster. Her anger masks pain. But I really get the vibe from her that she wants to make up more than Lu does. It's the same vibe I got with Bethenny and Carole. The friendship just means more to some.

The second meeting went better. But,of course, they both revert right back to talking smack. I'm not really on anyone's side; but it does really bother me that everyone is demanding humility and apologies from Dorinda, but not Lu. The Countess's pretension is out of control.

Also, Lu, NO DOUBLE DIPPING!

I feel badly for Tinsley. You've got her mom rubbing her ex's beautiful baby in her face, but then denigrating the relationship she's in. And Sonja jumps right in - as if she's some relationship expert.

I will say this, though - I think it's been so good for Sonja to leave the townhouse. I don't think she realized how much it was bringing her down until she moved. I had a similar experience with a house. Bad energy. 

Ramona may be nasty and obnoxious, but her date was just the worst. That guy spends too much time in his isolated cabin, coming up with all these "sage philosophies" on life. He couldn't wait to vomit them all over someone. Check, please!

My original theory about Barbara is ringing more and more true...Barbara is here to promote her Tool Kit and "spin" Luann in a better light.

I now don't believe she had temporary POA over Luann as they have been saying on the show. If you're going to sign it over to a friend and not a family member - it's going to be to your BFF. While Barbara went to Luann's wedding she was there as a guest - she was not one of Luann's 7 bridesmaids.

Barbara wasn't even coming on this show as "neutral" as she claims. She is totally Team Luann and wants to help Luann take down Dorinda

 So Dorinda bought the apartment so she could rent it?  I assumed she was going to live there, at least part-time.  Barbara was right...it did need some work. The ceiling lights needed replaced and it definitely needed painting.  And Dorinda balked because she didn't want to spend the money on a rental?  I guess she wanted to just make a few quick  cosmetic changes.  

I enjoyed everything about the show except the Luanne vs. Dorinda nonsense.  Ramona's date?  Give him the hook.

I don't think we saw the new apartment yet. She wants to rent her old, if she doesn't get what she asks for selling it.

dorinda has more of a drinking problem than lu,  it's only  by the grace of god that she's not in lu  position.

I don’t mind Barbara, but I will give her the side eye if she doesn’t check Lu’s attitude.  I generally like the Countess, but we’re seeing real shades of Season 1 Luanne, which is not good.  

I have a lot of mixed feelings about Dorinda.  She was nasty to Luanne last season.  Her outbursts towards Sonja were always way extreme.  She could’ve easily been arrested for some of those outbursts and she really can’t take any form of criticism.  But when she talks about how much loves someone, it’s impossible not to feel that she’s being genuine.  

I liked how Bethenny attempted to mediate the situation.  Lu should watch the season 3 episode when Ramona attempted to help Jill and Bethenny sort things out.  To this day, I say that would’ve happened had Lu not intervened to “protect” Jill.   Lu should take note that these fights can lead to one’s exile from the show and Lu needs this show. (Sorry, but her cabaret guests are coming to see RHNY Luanne).  

I really like Tinsley, but she seems very young for this crew.  I am loving her wardrobe this year though.

Returning to post just one time bc I love my NYC ladies. Why is Ramona coming off the most sane in the whole group?! It's like she owns her age & what people think of her and leans into it all.  Kadooz,  Ramona! Saying she speaks "only English and even then sometimes struggles..." Hahaha awesome. 

Dorinda came off in the final scene with Barbara like she had been drinking all day already. Methinks Dorinda doesn't need "naps" but she actually passes out. She's taking this LuAnn breakup hard and deflecting. Lu isn't right either. She needs to give in to Dorinda 's love and then maybe help her out as well. I think Lu may be making excuses bc she cant drink anymore & it's probably a beloved activity she had in common with Dorinda for most of their 13 year history. But I feel for Dorinda in her pain. I think she's a pretty good egg underneath it all but she fights DIRRRTY.

Dorinda is nuts. She is just crazy. She loses it so quick. She can't seem to own her bad behavior. She does seem to care way more about making up.  Lu doesn't really care.  Shes feeling herself right now. Lu always gets arrogant and too big for her britches (did I really just type that? it just seemed  to fit) when everything is going well.

Hated Dorinda's Adidas outfit and the pink hair. Her hair is flat at the back, because she has bed head. I honestly think she is drunk/hungover at least fifty percent of the time. Her apartment really looks dated and kind of dumpy. Barbara was a little horrified, you could tell. I really detest Dorinda, because she can never, ever say she was wrong or apologize. She just denies, argues and then gets beyond hateful. She needs therapy.

Remember that episode. Probably first season.  Lu spoke at some inner city girls club. She was very condescending.  Totally using her countess airs. Started disliking her from then on. Also remember early years Lu expected Beth to pay for Lu's surfing lesson because Beth had invited her to take them with her. I thought what the fuck, we all pay for our own activities. Beth was pretty well broke at the time too.

Remember that and remember Beth crying afterwards. I think they could have made up then if Lu hadn't kept them apart.  Beth was newly pregnant too.

I loved Dorinda's interview blouse with the half turtle neck and flowers.

Ramona's date-- uhg. Dated many guys almost exactly like that when I was single and living in DC. 

I want to see the Countess and Friends show. Maybe I'll see her when she's in Chicago. 

Bethanny's constant facial expressions during Dorinda and LuAnn's incredibly awkward lunch was pissing me off. I wish nothing but happiness and success for her, but man, do I hope she'll wake up one day and decide she's done with reality TV. I would be fine never seeing her and her toxic everything again

The real estate agent could use some good blending. I'm being very nice.

Yeah, and Sonja bragging she has soooooo many men. All of em' asking to marry her. Sure, hon. Keep believing. 

So Dorinda can get $8,000 per month for that dated apartment and Sonja got $32,000 a month for her leaky,  moldy townhome? I know it's true because my brother lives in NYC and I can't believe what he pays for the little box he lives in. New Yorkers are crazy. 

Dorinda should apologize for the heckling and Lu should apologize for not inviting John to the show but inviting Tinsley's boyfriend. Dorinda and Lu have been close friends for years and Dorinda was one of the few that supported Lu during the Tom mistake. Let's not drag this out for more episodes like puppygate over at the RHOBH.

The best part of the whole show! Ramona give me my one laugh all episode. And it actually did look like Bethanny too! 

Also, why did LuAnn not invite John? I remember thinking that was mean, but I'm forgetting what her reason was.
