Ya'll would be horrified at how many parents plunk their 1-4 year old children in front of a phone, tv , tablet or combination of all three for hours on end each day. I don't doubt the Vuolos have an Ipad for Felicity. Parents who are also addicted to their phones like jeremy don't have the best habits for their kids.

They really have no excuse either, its not like either of them work and both of them are home to entertain her. I have a 2 year old and she's never played with an ipad or phone. I do allow very limited tv-usually an episode of sesame street a few times a week but we go weeks without turning it on. I think parents who throw ipads at their young children are lazy and I actually worry about how this current generation is going to function when they are so stimulated from a young age. My nephew would always be looking at his tablet and he didn't speak until he was nearly four!! ( he's totally neurotypical) I know its an aggressive opinion but I see it everywhere. Kids are losing the ability to self entertain, and a lot of these apps create a gambling type response. Very worrying. Yet many parents completely disregard the advice on screen time. 

I understand if you are quarantined and its a temporary stop gap to get some work done while your kids are home, but that doesn't apply to jinger/ many parents before covid ect

Exactly what troubles are they facing together?  Looks to me as if life has been pretty damned good and easy for them.

I've been (mostly) happily married to the same man for nearly forty years, and I would NEVER presume to present myself as a marriage expert or to give anyone marital advice.  But then I'm no big time celebrity/social media influencer so no one would hear my incredible words of wisdom even if I decided to share them.  🙄

Over forty years married here, and I feel the same way you do.  I hate those staged kissy-faced pictures.  I second the 🤮 from another poster.  They look ridiculous.

It makes me laugh to think of the supposed rebel Jinger and the son-in-law-renowned-as-the-least-like-and-least-in-thrall-to-JB-and-M following exactly in JB's and M's footsteps this way. They won't have 19 kids, but they may try to make their living telling people what a great marriage they have because Jesus.  And being photographed repeatedly in full PDA.

Oh I don’t know. Right after they married, Jill was cuddling on Derek’s lap looking rather satisfied. Not everyone is as performative as Jessa and Jeremy.

It does look weird.

I looked at the full-size picture on my computer screen, and of course it's just that corner of the eye where you don't usually have any makeup.  But her skin there is so fair that when it's contrasted with the eyeshadow on her lid and the end of her lashes, it positively glows......Maybe a bit lighter eyeshadow shade is in order? 

She likes retouching her pictures, though. That would have been a good place to do it.

Anymore, most denim is combined with stretchy lycra or spandex; so jeans are not nearly as constricting as they used to be, especially ones made for kids, they're practically like sweatpants.

Hmmm, could that be regional? Half the staff I supervisor have children from newborn and up. The jean clothing their kids wear look and feel the same as it always has.

On the pants for Felicity, it's hard to say.  In SoCal, you can buy both regular jeans, stretchy jeans, stretchy jeggings, and regular leggings for two year old girls.  Those are too close for me to judge without holding them.  The waistband looks like one of the adjustable elastic ones, but you can get those with both the flat and stretchy material.  Sorry local knowledge is not going to solve this one.  

The more I look at them with the faded spots, the more I think they're the stiff, regular denim ones.  It looks like the legs are turned up so it could be they aren't wanting to go up a size due to length.  This happened with granddaughter and we simply changed styles to a different brand that ran larger and got jeggings for the stretch.  One shoe looks like it fits fine while the other one looks like she has toe overhang.  They need to learn to look at both feet.  Jinger may have some adjustment in that Felicity may take after Jeremy and not be a tiny twig.

I think it's probably more like being a matter of parental thinking. As far as I've seen, both soft comfortable totally fake jeans and just-like-adults' hard jeans are available for kids of all ages, including babies. ..... I'm only familiar with shopping in two regions of the country -- but I've definitely seen both kinds on sale in both places. 

I think the difference comes down to the fact that some adult buyers think first about comfort and playability and others think first about "it's so cute for a little kid to look like an adult"-- i.e., about "fashion." If I had to bet, I'd bet on the Vuolos going for the fashion.....but I do think it's hard to tell in a photo (although, again, if I were betting, these look more like the hard and tight ones to me....)

Considering RFP favors pocket squares and bow ties for himself, you're probably right.  I don't spend a lot of time looking for toddler clothes and the only jeans I've seen recently were on my partner's kids and they were the soft stretchy kind; but she's not the kind of mom who worries about fashion when it comes to playclothes for her children.  And both kids looked adorable and had no problem climbing, jumping and otherwise acting like little kids in their jeans.
