I’m going to have to process this episode.  Right  now I’m wondering what Gabe and Garrison’s girlfriends are feeling about Kody’s pencil remark. it was disrespectful to them. 
These two young men had jobs and school. Not everyone got to stay home and I don’t know of anyone besides Kody who quit seeing their significant others.  I certainly didn’t quit seeing my adult offspring either- granted none of us were immune compromised

Christine didn't hand him over either; he stopped being intimate with her and said he was never attracted to her. Janelle called him her “best friend and lover” and asked him if he wanted to continue living in polygamy; his response was that his food was getting cold. Robyn needs to stop re-writing history, because it was all captured on camera. There are receipts. What they handed her was over sixty grand to pay off her credit card debts and the proceeds from the sale of their Vegas homes (minus Christine) to buy her mansion.  As they say on RuPaul Drag Race, she is a “Charming, Unique, Natural, Talent.”

I also thought it was interesting when she insisted that the other wives were jealous of her having an apple but they had oranges. What she failed to note was that the other wives had wormy, rotted apples while she had a full basket of ripe, expensive, exotic organic fruit.

Oh my, Kody and Robyn are so nauseating and insufferable in their self-righteousness. My jaw dropped when Robyn started crying when asked about her buying a house when Janelle had nothing. She's crying while exclaiming, "I didn't ask for a house. They insisted." Am I the only one who was watching while Robyn cried because Kody wanted her to rent a house? She kept saying she was praying and God would provide. Well Robyn, "Goddesses" Meri, Christine and Janelle provided your mansion, not God. And Kody railing against Janelle, when she was the one defending him? They both can crawl back under that rock. And if I hear once more about his suffering with Covid, and being traumatized by his divorce? Cripes, you were never married to Christine! And you showed NO empathy when your wife and kids got covid. What a loser.

That way when Kody or Robyn try to rewrite history, the Primetimer interviewer can immediately say, "that's not what you said in Season 9, Episode 4 at 36 minutes in ... roll tape."

I’m sorry to say it was Kody who told Robyn she would have to buy a house.  It was Robyn who wanted to find a rental.  And I do seem to remember other people wanting Robyn to get a house big enough for the big family get togethers.  So to be fair….

Kody is becoming unhinged and bizarre.  He reactions to some things are very strange,  Robyn is also very defensive, and even combative.  The two of them are grasping at whatever justification they can come up with to blame anyone else but themselves for the downfall of this entire situation.  They apparently are blameless, to listen to them tell it.  Well let me just say that three other wives walking away from you and numerous estranged adult kids would seem to imply they are not the problem, Robyn and Kody are.  Leave them to their life together, everybody else seems more than capable of, not to mention happy to, move on and find happiness elsewhere.  Enough already.  You two deserve each other, so go away.

Christmas 2021.   Janelle said in a group talk  scene on an recent episode of the show that her kids were coming home and she/they had rented a vacation home for that time.  Christine was bringing Truely over after a Christmas to see everyone.  Kody pitched a fit because it was neutral ground and he supposedly wanted to see the kids at his place . The place where no one had been allowed inside for two years. 
Janelle mentioned in this Tell All episode that she and Kody did not speak at Christmas.  Kody mentioned Gabe and Garrison are still not reconciled with him.  These two things most likely means he never bothered to see his children at Christmas 2021.

The "tell all" host is quite possibly the worst ever.  Like, she really, really sucks.  A lot.  Guessing the Browns probably said they didn't feel "safe" sitting down together being asked real questions anymore . . .

Neither Kody nor Robyn seems to have a firm grip on reality these days, and the two of them spent so much time trying to spin shit they made me fucking dizzy.  Robyn also gave us a sneak peek of the narrative we can expect re: taking more wives.  Poor little Kody and Robyn have always wanted nothing more than to be part of a big polygamist family, but despite Robyn being a model sister wife and Kody sacrificing (said in a screech while maniacally flipping his gross hair) to love his POS other wives, their dreams have been dashed.  Their hopes crushed.  Dazed and confused about what to do next.  Their hearts and spirits so mortally wounded, their psyches so traumatized by the other wives who refused to RESPECT Kody, damn it, that they're just too afraid to try again.  So, their lives ruined, what is there to do but live monogamy?  And makes sure they whine and and cry about it as often as possible while pointing out it's all Christine, Janelle, and Meri's fault.

I really don't see how the show can possibly last more than another couple seasons.  Meri and Kody have been over, next season will cover Janelle leaving, then maybe one more season to see the fall out.  After that, all you have is a monogamous couple nobody can stand and three single women.  (All about a Janelle/Christine spin off show, speaking of).  And once the show is cancelled and their income stream has dried up (not sure the two village idiots fully thought out the consequences of running off all the adults who actually work), I'll be here with my popcorn to watch Robyn and Kody unravel.  

My final thought on this season is that it was FUCKING RICH of Robyn to say that despite his other wives being overweight and having stretch marks, Kody stll managed to have romance with them.  Hilarious, given that Meri, Janelle, and Christine all look as good if not better than they did when we first met them 10+ years ago IMHO, while Robyn . . . well, let's just say every time I see Robyn, the first thing I think of is the saying "rode hard and put up wet."  And seriously - what a BITCH she is.  That comment alone reveals everything one needs to know about the kind of sister wife Robyn was.  But, as I've said previously, Robyn's made her bed and now she can lie in it until noon every day with Kody, as they think about how they manipulated their way to a lifetime together without those pesky other wives and kids . . . and slowly realize that the joke's on them.

Yeah, but a large part of not being able to find a rental was both Robyn and Kody insisting that every one of Robyn's kids had to have their own bedroom. There were rentals, but none with 5,000 bedrooms. Of course, Christine and Meri also got houses in Flagstaff far larger and more expensive than they needed as well. Janelle was the only one who tried to save money. I still have no idea why in the world Janelle handed half of her Las Vegas house profit to Kody and Robyn to buy Robyn's house. Then Kody accuses her of not being loyal!! I hope Janelle never goes back to him. She seems so much happier now.

I wanted to punch my tv when Kody was whining about Janelle being with Christine when he had Covid with a 99° temperature. First, according to his rules she shouldn't have gone near him. But more importantly this is the dick who refused to accompany his daughter for serious surgery.

Meri was barely mentioned all season or in these 3 one on ones. She barely registers on the meter. Of course Kody is ok with them being divorced because it was his choice. She tried like he'll to fix things and he flat out refused. But the other wives are the bad ones because it was their decision to leave him.

I wonder if Kody and Robyn are already feeling the financial pinch of Christine and Janelle leaving. No more MLM money coming into the family pot and any future money bypassing the pot completely. Christine and Janelle only have one child each to see to in terms of support. Kody and Robyn have five kids still living at home and are freaking out that their choices have impacted their ability to fund the life they think they deserve.
I don’t think Kody is capable of making sound financial decisions and I wonder how close an eviction order is.
 

On a different note I absolutely loved Janelle rolling her eyes and saying how sick she was of Robyn the counselor. Best part of the whole 3 hour tell all.

Exactly! She had to have bedrooms for all of her 5 children and I think she said something about one of the bedrooms being a second main for her parents when they came to visit. I really like Janelle, but when she starts in on wanting the house built on Coyote Pass and why aren't they all pushing for that I want to scream. Robyn and Kody are not interested in moving there, and neither is Christine and probably Meri.  Not going to happen Janelle.  What is keeping her from going to Kody and Robyn and saying I want my money back that I gave you to buy your house. I need now.  Even if they have to take out a 10th mortgage to do this it is the only decent thing for them to do. Or they could do like Christine did, they could give her their share of the large lot that they own free and clear.

If the goal was to pay off and build on the Coyote Pass property, as ALL five of them originally led us to believe, then most of their home purchases and rentals were ridiculous. They could have buddied up in 2 to 3 houses and roughed it while they sold the Vegas properties and started to build on Coyote Pass. Just an observation.  When Robyn was watching the clip of Christine and Kody's discussion about comparing relationships, Robyn's face goes from its usual RBF to a half smile when Christine says, "I feel like Robyn is more important" [to Kody].

Another observation.  When Sukyana was trying to get Kody to actually understand Christine's point of view saying, "[Christine] wanted that connection [that Robyn has] with you" and Kody replies with "Does that make Robyn and I bad?" and "All of everyone is looking at that as some kind of unfairness.  That's the danger of polygamy".

No the danger is Kody's emotional dishonesty in trying to avoid criticism.  The way he projects his sense of guilt onto other people is abusive--trying to suggest that there was something wrong with Christine and Janelle when they tried to have relationship discussions with him.  In Christine's words she had never been aware of what a soul mate relationship looked like and she was never aware that there was anything more to be had in a marriage than what she had with Kody.  Okay situations change, people change that's part of life.  The unfairness of the situation is trying to lie about what really is going on.  Kody has a favorite wife does that make him or Robyn bad.  No.  Does lying about it and pointing fingers while ranting and raving at Janelle and Christine make them bad?  Yes, yes it does.

I just can’t with this delusional dimwit anymore. We have a woman who thinks she’s the likes of princess Diana and that everyone should love her when in reality she’s a homely, bitter, uncultured, narcissistic potato — the opposite of the kind, caring, sensitive late princess. 

And she implied she still *might* be willing to wait it out. Like what, the very last choice for the kickball team because there’s no one else? Kody would still be like “that’s ok we’ll just play a person short, we don’t want that one.”

When will she ever see reality? Reality without stupid self-affirmations and platitudes?

Move on, Meri — 2 other wives have had the guts to take that scary step. For all the brave talk you do Meri, we hardly see any courage from you. In fact, Meri, your spirit animal is the Cowardly Lion — acts big until an actual scary situation presents itself.

To me he’s exhibiting the behaviours that controlling, emotionally abusive men tend to have — demanding loyalty in exchange for love and that he’s done nothing wrong. He is truly vile.

What is ironic is that this comment was made by a man that used RELIGION to keep his "pencil wet" every night of the week! He is thoroughly, completely, and absolutely disgusting.

Was Meri’s interview really just 5 minutes or was there more that didn’t make the cut once TLC realized she was very carefully watching what she said? He’s never going to take you back, Meri. It’ll never happen.

Watching Robyn was like seeing a villain unmasked on Scooby-Doo. Always knew she was a fake, manipulative assbutt but we finally see her true face now. 

I’d bet a good chunk of money Janelle is completely safe from ever having to work on her marriage. Kody doesn’t forgive or apologize. She could leave her doors and windows wide open and he’ll never come knocking. 

So what else is left? I don’t need to hear from Kody and Robyn again. If I were Christine I would want to focus on moving forward with my life and stop looking backwards. Meri is a non-factor, although I wouldn’t mind seeing her actually saying eff it all and officially moving to the B&B or wherever. Janelle’s living situation interests me but I don’t need a full season of her decisions.

That remark was beyond crude and obscene.  I am shocked that TLC allowed it when they bleeped out the word "shit" multiple times.  How low TLC has sunk from a time when they offered shows that were informative not titillating.

Janelle came off the best of the group.  The rest are disgusting and I am including that namby-pamby Suki that closed out that Tell Nothing debacle wishing the psychotic manchild "happiness".  What a crock.

So the outside nanny and her husband coming over every day wouldn't increase the risk of exposure?  Kody going out to do gun shows wouldn't increase the risk of exposure?  His excuse about the other wives and children increasing exposure to the point of killing his younger children to justify abandonment doesn't fly as much as his analogy of a wet pencil.

Next season should just show Christine and Janelle and their families moving on.  I fell asleep at the end.  Is Meri staying or is she finally moving on?

Several things:

• Kody's pencil remark was vile.  Yes, Gabe and Garrison had girlfriends who were isolating as well to reduce the risk that anyone would get sick.  They were working and going to school, not out partying with huge crowds every night of the week.  And by the time he shared his wacko rules, no one was wiping down groceries or changing clothes after going out.
• I loved Janelle calling BS frequently.  Her eyeroll and remark about counselor Robyn was great.  And she was spot on when she said that Kody always looks for someone else to blame and never takes any accountability for his own actions that cause most of the strife in the family.
• I really respected Janelle and Christine for what they said regarding Kody finding his soul mate and how it affected them.  They were very clear and rational while Robyn and Kody came across paranoid and raving.  They were hurt by Kody's attentions to Robyn and they were honest about that and that sometimes that lead them to say some unkind things about Robyn.  It seems clear to me that they don't blame Robyn for the fact that Kody fell in love with her.
• Robyn came across very badly with her rant about how she was done apologizing for everything.  I doubt she has ever apologized for anything and I'm sure she egged Kody on in throwing away his relationships with his other kids.  And she had a lot of nerve saying that the other wives didn't take care of their relationships with Kody.  If she wants others to leave her out of things then perhaps she should stay out of things.  She is always interjecting her opinions and pontificating about plural marriage.
• Meri just looks pathetic.  Give it up and be the strong woman you claim to be.  Sometimes strength is knowing when it is time to walk away.
• While I agree with everyone that the host seems to take Kody and Robyn's side, it was interesting that toward the end, she seemed to just be sitting back and letting the two of them dig a hole for themselves.  I think she did move them to show their true colors and just left it without comment.
