Even though I was annoyed by them, I do wonder if some of these women being actors affected how they reacted to Garcelle's moment, calling it "beautiful" and whatnot. A lot of times people will go "beautiful" after you just did emotional work.

I think it showed them as really ignorant of real issues and Garcelle's pain.  Especially Kathy's comment that she's felt different when walking into a room.  Why?  Because she's so much richer than everyone else?  God forbid.  Because she has more plastic surgery than everyone else?  It was a rhetorical question; Kathy really didn't need to pipe up at that moment, it was unneeded.  When I go to a party and I don't know people, for instance, that's nothing compared to Garcelle being the only Black person in a room.

It's indeed weird. I'm not someone who's comfortable with being emotional in font of just anyone, so it's a very strange feeling when you have to and everyone's like "beautiful, did you feel good about that?" 

Garcelle has basically said this about herself before-that people see strong and hard but that she's soft. I think it's totally obvious. She's not someone who gets emotional easily. She works in a tough industry. She's a mother of three. But we can tell she's soft because she's nice and will defend the underdog-last year Denise, this year Sutton. The fact she has to show some tears for these other ladies to soften toward her is ridiculous.

Oh no, I don't think Garcelle was acting either. I was just reminded of being on set with actors with the way the other women responded. They may just be responding like actors to seeing someone emotional, even if Garcelle wasn't acting.

I am so frustrated by the hypocrisy of Rinna and Kyle, both of who have yelled at Garcelle and Sutton, respectively, to be honest (though they have been honest) and yet say nothing to Erika, who is spinning a web of deceit with new "unbelievable" (in Kyle's words) details every week!  It's maddening!

Erika Jayne, that exemplar of honesty, who has no moral problem in having received stolen monies (and who has no moral problem in refusing to pay them back)  settlements stolen from, among others,  Indonesian women. And of course,  Rinna. Like a serial killer, Rinna got to add a trophy to her wall - LVP, Denise, and now Garcelle, the sweetest trophy of all. Because the only thing Rinna can't stop feasting on is the pain of another human being,  and nothing tastes quite as beautiful as the tears of a black woman. Better than Harry's sauce, y'all.

And she's no different.  She's not around.  She ran like a rat off a sinking ship.  Dropped him off at work & with nary a word, moved out & filed for divorce.  He calls - she doesn't answer his calls.  And years earlier, despite "traumatic brain injury" ["TBI" Dorit!!] & her claim that FOR YEARS she recognized his cognitive decline, Erika left him alone to be on Broadway in "Chicago," and then, ultimately, just left him.    

On one hand, she saw cognitive decline.  On the other hand, she threatened (promised!) Sutton that "he isn't dead yet & could still sue." (Oh oops, except for the dementia, those distracting victim lawsuits, & being deemed inactive by the State Bar at the time.)  Alternative reality much? She's scornful that others would take him out of the burglarized home (up for sale anyway) & put him somewhere safer.  She's decided home care is better than a memory care facility. (Sure is, if you DON'T really have dementia to the degree claimed!  But maybe not IF you NEED the degree of skilled care that a facility can offer.)  Both options are expensive.  Is she paying?? Moving him into her 2nd bedroom? She didn't stick around and is not stepping up now.  No, she saw problems & fled.  But in her mind, OTHERS should be around for him!

Watching the way they beat up on Garcelle until she cries and then praise her for finally being open was disgusting. Garcelle looked like she didn’t know what hit her after she was brought to tears. Crystal might be dull and add nothing but I prefer her because what Rinna adds is tired and nauseating. 
For them to be going at Garcelle when Erika spins story after story weekly shows what a bunch of weak bitches they are. 

It also bugs me that they forced Sutton to confront the snarling Bag of Drag and then completely left her on her own when every one of them had questions and expressed doubt at that meeting.

Crystal looked gorgeous at the black dress dinner, but she fades into the background.  She has a very disagreeable resting bitch face.  When she smiles, it changes her appearance entirely.  But if she offers no more the rest of the season, she can go.   I really think she'll not want to return.  I think she definitely feels like an outsider, but nobody seems to care.  It's not a show where you can hang back and expect attention.  

Sutton is on fire.  I love it.  She looked absolutely gorgeous on WWHL.

Her time line never makes sense, either. Now she says his "alleged" brain injury? Really? She's the one who claimed he had one in her bizarre tale of the flipped car.

Sweetie, I'm so sorry you were burdened with the knowledge of possible institutionalization since you first arrived at the luxury hotel. What a blow. Sorry, not sorry. I don't think you GAF.

What this group did to Garcelle is a text book case of what a group of mean high school girls do to another girl they decide is not good enough for their circle. They start out by ignoring her. Then pick at her about not being open and honest, and then progress to humiliating her.  " You didn't pay your bill" " You didn't thank me for the sauce." Then they gang up and go off on her until she breaks down in tears. And only then do they rush to comfort her and pretty say now you are one of us in an attempt to make themselves look magnanimous.  It was an awful display of their true hateful characters. I don't know how Rinna, and Dorit can some back from this. I hope at the reunion Garcelle addresses they way they treated her.

Erika really made me mad, (I'll tell her that to her face and not fear being sued, I can pay my lawyers, lol). Her speaking about nursing/memory care facilities in such a broad stroke made me think she has no idea what she is talking about.   Health care in the home or in patient is costly, I spent $100,000+ in six months, ($20,000/month), for in home care for my father, 24/7 and that was with for CNA's not even RN's or LPN's...he started to need more medical care and I decided to move him to the nursing facility so he could have a higher level of nursing care, it was only $13,000 a month, I felt like we all got a raise.  

In other news, when Garcelle asked the table if they have ever felt like "the only one" in a situation and Kathy nods and says yes I just about did a spit take, the wealthy, blonde white woman felt like "the only one?" Where, when, How?  Who is she kidding?  Where does Kathy go that is not in her bubble?

I really like Garcelle, the women all hugging her and such was awkward, not sure she enjoyed that sort of attention but at least for a few moments nobody was pushing her to tell the truth about whatever.

Rinna is a nightmare of a friend, own it, tell the truth, own it, tell the truth...she makes the Spanish Inquisition look like a sorority hazing.

The second Kathy said Sound Bath my mind went to the Kardashians, I was trying to Google their baby shower and then Kathy mentioned it, so funny, such BS, Kathy didn't meditate, she slept!  Kathy inviting the ladies back to her suite for coffee was funny, you know she has the night time hours of a nocturnal animal and wanted company, the ladies were like, no thanks! Poor Kyle, she probably got a nocturnal visit complete with a bag of chips and a news paper.

Dorit blathers so much.

Some sprains can be more painful than fractures and a high grade sprain can take up to 6 months to heal. Fractures take about 6 to 8 weeks to heal.

Her doctor confirmed it was a bad sprain and said no weight bearing for a week.

Crutches are difficult if not impossible the older one gets, so I don't blame her for opting for the chair. How nice of the hotel to offer!

So true. What begins as production shenanigans evolves into toxic behavior, fueled by these assholes' craven desire for camera focus as well as their own lack of character.  The behavior also reminds me of 70s era group therapy sessions. I never attended but friends did. Sometimes they were nothing more than bully sessions, hiding behind the "therapy" label. A good friend is a therapist and comments that some people don't recover easily from this kind of behavior. My friend thinks we've seen that with some housewives across the franchise. It's disturbing.

Well, at least Kathy didn't call the mystery lady "the help", like Ramona from RHONY!!  

Someone upthread commented that perhaps "the Lady" was a show producer or production assistant.  I'm thinking that could be a good possibility.

Or.....with Kathy's forgetfulness (Bernie Sanders, her tote bag and cell phone are just a couple of incidents) and her inability to do simple tasks like plugging in a fan or opening a wine bottle, perhaps Kathy is the one may be experiencing some early on-set Alzheimers' symptoms??

Yep. I sprained my ankle last year. If I had access to a wheelchair I would have used it. Instead I borrowed my neighbors cane until I got the one I ordered from Amazon a couple of days later. Any pressure on it hurt like heck. I knew it wasn't broken and, at the time, Ambulances were waiting hours to offload their patients so an ER was out of the question and I wasn't about to go to a crowded Urgent care, full of people with Covid symptoms, so just keeping weight off it was the treatment.

I don't believe she was in a controlling marriage, but I do now believe that the divorce is a scam and she and Tom have a plan. I did NOT think that when this season started  but I can't really figure out any other reason for Erika's continued tales of Tom, aka, Superman. Last night, she was shading the family and his friends for deserting him, but we are to believe she did the same. Then why is she so angry that others did?
