I can't even keep track of the names anymore...I know there are all the Evy variations, but do they have an Ava? That seems to have been pretty ubiquitous for a while. That and Olivia, which is not quite the same thing, but still has a "v" in it.

There are also a number of popular and somewhat Biblical boys' names they could go for, like Noah and a couple of others which are lurking on the edges of my memory at the moment, but which I don't have the ambition to look up. Oh, and Oliver, in case they were counting on an Olivia and missed.

Dear God, I hope that sort of thing is not genetic! But it does rather seem that despite seeing how things worked out in her own childhood, Jessa seems to be following a similar pattern of setting her first boy-child up as golden, teaching him that the #1 rule in life is that of working the camera, and her role as a mother should be one of shielding him from "wordly" temptations and pursuits (be they dangerous or useful, because if they are not "of God", then it really boils down to the same thing). I think that would be both way too foreign and way too "effeminate" to them. 

I was on a trip to Europe about 10 years ago, and my group was introduced to a super nice Swiss guy named Yves. He was pretty dishy too. 😁

We did a collective double-take when it sounded like he said his name was Eve. He'd obviously had this conversation with Americans before because he then immediately spelled it for us. I'd seen the name Yves before in print but had no clue how it was pronounced.
