Wonder if the next tell all...the host will delve more into the marriage to Robyn ...were the kids legally adopted..but yet see their bio father..or was it just a legal name change?..and how Meri  and the others wives feel about that now?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA......oh, you're serious?

Never once in all of these "tell all" episodes  has anything been revealed.  They have been dubbed "tell nothings" for a reason.  The interviewers are useless, the questions are censored.  This is orchestrated to keep viewers watching this crap year after year, hoping for some actual information.

Well as the old saying goes....Fool me once, shame on you.  Fool me twice, shame on me.

I don't believe Kody is physically abusive, or even extremely emotionally or verbally abusive.

I think he is emotionally abusive though because he withholds his "favor" from whomever he is pissed at.  Emotional manipulation.

I don't think Christine was miserable for the entire marriage.

In fact, there was one season where we were commenting on how happy she was and what types of pills she was taking.

Interviewer: “ Kody, 18 is not an adult.”

The entire U.S. military, cigarette and retail cannabis dealers, landlords, the U.S. voting system, car dealerships, state-benefit systems for children, real estate agents, private gun dealers, the IRS, the court system-criminal and civil, strip clubs and the entire legal porn industry: “Say WHAT?”

Just when I thought I couldn't dislike Sobbyn more.....she shows up kleenex in tow ready to NOT answer any questions! She knew exactly what she was doing.

Why did the interviewer let it go on so long? They should have gone to a break and then tell Sobbyn if she doesn't get it together and start talking in real sentences without the fake tears they will have to remove her from her segments. Nobody wanted to see that! But yet they torture us with her tearless closeups.

Meri is going to lie, lie, lie until the checks stop coming. Everything is fine. I still love Kody. We have to work on the relationship. I'm not giving up. Sure, Meri, sure.

Maybe Janelle doesn't have much of a sex drive. It happens to a lot of us when going in to menopause. Christine even said she wasn't sure if Janelle wanted to have her love tank filled!

Having this show is just an easier way to earn money than getting a real job. They would rather put their totally dysfunctional "family" on tv for our enjoyment because they are lazy.

Kody is a crap father, Robyn is a very poor actress, Meri is playing a long con (I'm not sure if I support her in this or not yet hmm), Janelle is happy in her confused cocoon, and Christine has just woken up from her plyg-induced nonsense but could still be in on the con herself.

Kody just should stop pretending to have more children than are in Robyn's house. He puts in no effort and I hope all his kids go no-contact because they are getting nothing from their sperm donor.

Why do I watch again?

Karma is a bitch and when Kody Brown shows up with a fresh and young bride then and only then will Robyn feel Christine’s pain!

🙏 🙏 🙏 A much younger bride who has kids already (and who urgently needs the legal marriage for some reason) who is more manipulative and devious than Sobbyn!

Well, the gloves have come off a lot more than we’ve ever seen before with the Browns, however, I would still like to get the real low down on the truth.  For example, Janelle, say what you really think about getting closer to Robyn….lol!  Maybe, they hold back due to the children.  Sol and Ariella can’t help it.

It’s 21 now for tobacco, cannabis and certain ammunition. And strip clubs vary, but it’s 21 for most of those, too (I pole danced my way through college, kinda familiar with that).

But I get your point, at 18 you can legally go off on your own—you just can’t do a lot of the things until you’re 21.

Sex with Kody 🤢🤮

I'm just now starting to read the comments, but I have to say:  if I had to have sex w/Kootie, I'd staple a picture of Sam Elliot circa 1990's to his forehead.

I'll be back after I read more, but I also need to ask Sukanya for part 3 to puleeeeze! call out Robyn for her endless fake crying histrionics.

Thanks and I get your point, too.  I didn’t want my point to get lost in too many different jurisdictional exceptions but I also didn’t mean to say EVERY legal brothel has the same minimum age requirement for prostitutes as patrons in every county in Nevada, for example.  My larger point was that the “age of majority” is considered 18 for MANY things, in MANY places/state systems in the US.  Not ALL states or even counties within a state have the exact same regulations, but federal systems like IRS, military service, court systems, voting age, etc clearly differentiate between before and after reaching 18 years old.

I don't understand. What does Kody expect Gabe and Garrison to do? Don't they both have jobs and/or are going to school? Are they supposed to quit their jobs? Other people have managed to work during this Covid period.

Also, why are they so shocked that Christine would want to leave? Why would anyone want to stay in a marriage like that?

I wish they would have a spinoff show with Janelle and Christine living in Utah on their own. Having adventure, living life, dating again...

The intro song could be "Unwritten"  "Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins"  :)

Did you know: That's the very tissue Robyn first used in Season 1, Episode 1 and has used in every other episode since. And it's still as good as new

It's going in the Smithsonian!

In the first year or two of the show, there was a fist fight in a parking with all 21 Browns present. I think it was Paedon, Hunter & Garrison punching each other.  The obvious person to break it up would have been their mutual father and wrestling promoter, Kody. But he did nothing.  NOT a good father!

Goodness! What were they fighting about?

Wasn’t one of Janelle’s boys wanting to come back home so he could save up for a deposit for a house? Who cares if he’s over 18, that what loving parents do..open up their homes and support their children a little longer if they can and it means they can get a head start, esp in today’s world...Kody comparing himself and life at 18 to his kids is ridiculous, times have changed since then.

The fact that Kovid seems quite bitter about getting kicked out at 18 himself speaks volumes to me.( Isn't that why he went on his mission because Winn kicked him out?) Why wouldn't he want to give his kids an easier start into adulthood than he had? He is one cold and selfish butthead.

The Browns don't discuss things openly and truthfully. When we've seen them talk about things, it always felt like circle-talk, therapy speak, or Meri's meme posts. The last season, it's felt like a game of telephone: "Well I heard that Christine was saying she was fed up" "Well I heard and read on social media that the boys were not adhering to the protaculls"  What's so hard about speaking directly to the person in question and ironing out conflicts?

Meri saying that relationships are hard made me sad because it doesn't have to be like that.

Sam Elliott of any year!  Oh yes!

I wonder if they paid Robyn to fake cry.  Maybe that was planned, because if not for that, the episode would have been a lot more boring.  Definitely, struck a cord with viewers.  🤣

Meri fake cries the best, but viewers are sort of zoned out on that now days.

Does he really want Meri clinging like a barnacle to their “marriage” and Janelle just going with the flow (except when it comes to her kids) so that when he dies the VIP section of heaven will let him in?

This is the real tell on the whole "religious" angle to this shitshow.  If he truly believed in the whole Personal Planet story, he'd be moving heaven and earth to keep the wimmin folk in line.  Instead, he's made no mention of the "tennants" (TM Robyn) of their "faith" that is supposed to be a driving force behind polygamy.  Instead he's shedding them like dandruff -  or his hair.

Ugh, now I can't get Kootie's "driving force" out  of my mind.  Where did I put that brain bleach.

I was once again filled with rage seeing the clip of Robyn telling her kids that Janelle and Christine were not coming for Thanksgiving. There was a reasonable (and true!) way to convey that information without turning it into some dramatic rejection of your family. All she had to say was that COVID was making things complicated, the older kids working and living out of town could not easily comply with the “protaculls” and for that reason this Thanksgiving would be a lot of smaller get togethers but everyone was going to work together to be together for Christmas. Lots of families adjusted their holiday plans in 2020(and 2021!) but there was Robyn’s equally dramatic daughter crying like all of this was a personal affront to her thanks to the way Robyn presented it. Dayton had the best reaction when he just kind of shrugged at the news.

Yes this! How about mentioning that they are choosing to spend Thanksgiving with their adult children that no longer live at home? Or does Sobbyn not want her kids to realise they can move out once they turn 18?
