I quite liked that segment.  It was history.  I thought the dresses were pretty.  And there was no bitching about needing to build a bigger closet.  Just a "ran out of room, putting the shit in the garage" practicality.  

It's why, during the money conversation, I believed she is shrewd about her money.  And I respect her for that.  In fact, for all Harry and Lisa are mocked for their small kitchen and somewhat small house, I believe they live within their means.

Yeah, I thought once Crystal changed her wording it was correct. Still not buying the convenient timing of Erika leaving Tom just before this goes down. That doesn't mean they're really in this together as a couple. I can believe she really is mad at him and crying that she's dealing with this. They can be hiding assets without liking each other much.

Aside from the dumb fighting at the beginning, this episode was like a breathe of fresh air to me after the shitshow that was NYC last night. This is what I like to see, ladies showing  their dresses (even though they were in a garage), supporting each other and discussing their fears over Covid, Kathy and Kyle being good sisters. 
But now I have severe eye strain from rolling my eyes so hard over all the Erika bad acting scenes.

Maybe Erika can get a spin-off, "Erika on Suicide Watch,"  and the show could feature many more segments, long segments, too, of Erika bad-mouthing Tom and in the same breath wanting to ease his pain.  Sutton could move over to the spin-off as kind of the crazy neighbor who pops in for no reason whatsoever, except to remind anyone who's listening that she would never judge without having all the facts.  Rinna can guest and wonder, in that Kappa Kappa Gamma way, why Sutton would ever judge without the facts, although the more likely question on these shows should always be why wouldn't you judge without the facts?  It's a thing around here.

Let's not forget that she said Tom would bring home Morton's every night for a month!  If he was SOOO demented, how was he able to accomplish THAT??

I have always been EXTREMELY curious about the Hamlin/Rinna finances. I think their house is nice with a great yard and privacy (Rinna needs to part ways with the shabby chic and the rat-kitchen does need to be modernized) - Harry has had that house since before his marriage to Rinna. He's had two divorces but no children from those relationships. Both he & Rinna have worked for decades in television, and although Rinna probably doesn't take the lion's share of the profits from the QVC line she was the face for a long time - enough time to make bank.

Yet - they've done two reality shows and Rinna actually said the Depends contract saved their bacon. I have no problem believing they are not extravagant with their spending (and I think they also have a home in Canada). It seems like a great life, but it also seems like they should need a little less hustle at this point.

Erika is just a liar. She has either been lying to us for years about her relationship with Tom and how supporting and loving he was or she's lying now. I don't know how she thought/thinks changing her story now makes us believe her when all she is doing is proving she's a liar. In the last couple of episodes she's gone from talking about how cold Tom was to her and how he was so closed off to now saying he was deteriorating before her eyes and it was too much. She's trying to spin every story to see what sticks.

During the resolution of the Crystal/Sutton argument someone said something about pulling up your underpants and Kathy responded, "high-waisted ones." I literally laughed out loud.

I'm not a huge Kyle fan, but I really related to her talking about her concerns about parenting Portia during the pandemic. It was so hard to figure out what rules to enforce because at times it felt pointless. Like others have said, I do think she is a good mom even if Portia seems coddled and spoiled (but maybe not too bad for Beverly Hills).

So I’m confused. Are there two Toms? For years we’ve been hearing about how much she loves him and how wonderful he is. Now he’s vicious and utterly dismissive.

Unpopular opinion perhaps but I loved when Crystal went in on her and Sutton just stared back with her shocked and confused face. That was the face of someone used to her dramatics, histrionic tears working and couldn't understand why this woman wasn't just catering to her like all the others have before. Crystal's read that she was not going to apologize to Sutton for Sutton's own actions was on point. I also cracked up at her, "yeah I don't care" response when Sutton came with her snide, "sorry for insulting your pants."

But thank goodness we've gotten to the reason I bothered to show up this season. So there we have it. That's how Erika's going to play this - "I knew nothing and am completely innocent." Okay. I have to say, someone should tell her that it's probably not a good idea when trying to sell yourself as an innocent victim who has been sorely misjudged to use "helping to hide a dead body" as a test of true friendship.

Of all the things one can criticize Kyle about, this isn't it, IMO. Lots of people have been worried about the impact that this past year and a half has had on their kids. Yes, Kyle and her family are privileged but that doesn't mean she doesn't have the right to worry about her daughter. It's not like she was claiming she has had it harder than anyone else. She was just talking about her concerns about Portia's development.

Sutton loses me when she keeps insisting that her walking in on Crystal (yes she knocked, but polite people usually wait to hear an invitation before entering) is water under the bridge now and should never be mentioned again, but that Crystal saying she felt violated is still so horrible for Sutton.  It just seems that if Crystal has to yield on the actual initial offense and agree to move on, the least Sutton can do in return is give up her "violated" mouse.  

Also, Sutton joking at the end of the dinner about learning to lock the door rang strange.  If this were (overtly) scripted, I'd say that line should've gone to Crystal.  Sutton making the joke is 1)weird because she seems to so desperately want that moment forgotten and 2) very close to victim blaming.  That basically this whole ordeal, which has been so terrible for Sutton because now people might think she's a violator, would never have happened if only Crystal had locked her door.  Not "if only Sutton had waited for Crystal to say she can enter".

Exactly. And now that her game is hopping on the dementia train, doesn't that somewhat invalidate all her prior statements about how horrible he was to her? Now she has some context for the behavior changes she's alleging.. Hostility and secrecy are quite common initial indicators in people with declining cognitive functions. I saw little empathy from her regarding his situation from her tonight, but attempting a narrative of self defining as a "victim", "poor brave little me plucky girl". IMO she's somewhere on the spectrum of a sociopathic narcissist. And yes, Erica, it is torture to see someone to truly "degrade" and "melt". I've been married for 27 years to a man who has been suffering through that process for the last 3 years. And my way of coping with it was not to go out and file for divorce, but care for him 24 hours a day, in a way that honors all the great years we had.

I had a Dental appointment yesterday that was more fun than the NY episode last night.  I find it fascinating that Rinna is totally certain that Erika is totally innocent of stealing from widows and orphans, but Denise deserved the third degree because she may have had sex with a consenting adult. And why the f@#k was Rinna wearing that ratty bathrobe?
