Syngin was nervous about Tania going to a bar in Costa Rica, because he knows that is how they met. And, she already had a man. Saying he wants more commitment than she is willing to give is asinine, considering they are suppose to be getting married.  

I have a feeling someone in the US Consulate in Nigeria watches "90 Day Fiance" and is well acquainted with Angela and Michael.  Which is why his visa was denied. 

Anna was wrong to tell her oldest son that she knows that he would be happy to hear that Mursel is leaving. Way to make the kid feel guilty about something that the two of them fumbled and bumbled.

Sister Robert and Sister Emily, FTW.  They seem like such amazingly normal ppl.  I like both of them. 

Sister Robert kept Anny to her budget without making her feel bad and they found a nice enough dress (personally, I didn't love the fit on the dress...the v was too deep for her...the middle was a little too tight).  Robert should take some notes on how to treat ppl.  Anny getting emotional over her mom was actually very sweet.   

Sasha is a massive dick.  You are staying at this woman's house, so you start throwing her shit away and basically saying that Emily is turning into a fatty fat fat like he thinks she is.  I'm so glad she stood up to him.  Don't think I also didn't notice that it was Sister Emily babysitting so these assholes could go to the market in peace.  Baby Daveed's little raspberry to his father made my night. 

I would feel bad for Anna, so she's already blaming the oldest one for getting what he wants.  Honey.  Stop.  Your little bitch of a man and you are to blame. PeriodT.

and she refused to keep her children a secret. It seems she expected at some point he would come clean. He only did so at her insistence, so I don't think that at any point in time she intended to keep the status quo.

Tania and Syngin - step away from marriage right now. Both of you need to have a talk about what is realistic for your lifestyle. Tania, you can't be selfish and do what you want, when you want, and account to no one. Your fiancé loves you and worries about your behavior. He is not 'clingy' - just concerned. He met you at a bar and you still seem to be a bit of a bar girl. You have communication issues and some unrealistic ideas of what marriage is. A partnership.

Blake and Jasmin - still weird and both don't seem very compatible. Jasmin, you don't have to be your husband's music's biggest fan. But you should be supportive. I can't imagine coming home to a pale, baked chicken breast, rice cooked in water without a dash of salt added, and salad or plain veggies. I don't normally use butter with veggies unless it's stuff like fresh carrots or cauliflower. Her meals would match her hair, her facial fillers, and sunny disposition.

Both you and Blake are old enough to pay for your own wedding. Mama Blake probably does not like you and will not pay for your wedding day. Nothing like a courthouse wedding and a fancy party later on.

Sasha and Emily - you are staying rent-free at your fiancé's sister's apartment. She cannot afford to feed you all on a long-term basis. A few days' stay is fine, a week starts to get to the imposing stage. You have zero business throwing her food away even if you do think it is junk food. Maybe make a nice meal for her since you know your way around so-called proper food.

Anny and Robert - Robert's sister seems nice and Anny needs some sort of friend. Robert misrepresented himself to her and made her some promises he really couldn't keep. That is on him. He could have said he was not well-off, i.e. poor. The first wedding dress looked better on her, but she found one at a price that worked, so it all worked out.

Anna and Mursel - why? Why guilt your oldest child and set up a dysfunctional relationship with him? An older kid probably is not going to bond with any man over a short timeframe. Mursel has been immature and can't tell his parents the truth about you having three kids. Maybe it's not the 70s Brady Bunch insta-family, but blending a family takes time and work. Mursel has to earn his place in your kids' life. Instead he comes across as a blubbering coward.

Angela - oh dear. I-yi-yi with the top and all the stuff stuffed into it. Whoever is processing the visa would be a bit suspicious of your relationship with My-kull. You want to marry him? Do so in Nigeria and then again in the US if he gets the spousal visa. I can't imagine that there aren't other American women who would not show an interest in him. It has always been the way Blake’s mom said in formal weddings. Of course it may have evolved into something else due to the rules being relaxed these days. But formally the brides family pays for everything except the rehearsal dinner.

When I met my husband he was undocumented. There are SO MANY people that married a friend to get the green card. I know at least two people who paid someone to marry them, and they only saw them two or three times in their lives. It's crazy to me that it's that difficult for Angela and Michael. I think what Michael said is that in the interview he talked about also bringing his mother over to "see the wedding." IMO that's what did it. They know she will stay and never go back. Then when Michael gets his citizenship, he can sponsor her. It's crazy to me how difficult it is to bring someone over, but there are literally millions of people already here that are undocumented, that can get married and be green like that. Yet people who do it the right way, and follow all the rules and pay all the money can't get in? It's such a broken dumb system.

For some reason I never understood what was wrong with Jasmin, but when the mom called her a diva, I finally got it. She's intentionally putting up these boundaries and being a bitch on purpose. Why would Joey even try to make an effort when from the beginning Mursel told the kids he didn't really care about their happiness, wanted their mother to abandon them in the US to be with him in Turkey, and could never tell his family about their existence because their presence on earth is shameful and horrible? I wouldn't bother and I'm an adult. Joey seemed to try to steer clear of Mursel because trying to interact with Mursel was likely only going to result in acrimony. Mursel was an asshole from jump. They tried to ask about his trip and Turkey. He didn't have much to say. They ask if he wanted to play videogames with them. He says no and that it's a waste of time. They ask how he likes pizza. It's not as good as Turkish pizza.

Joey has wisely decided to steer clear of the shit show.

It should be a concrete rule that you can't get a K-1 Visa for someone unless you can have a conversation with them without using a Translator app on your phone. Both of you need to know a language well enough to have a conversation, or it's not a real relationship. Anna's kids couldn't talk to Mursel because he didn't speak any real English. And for all the other reasons people have stated, but the Translator app thing bugs the shit out of me. For all their bullshit, at least Angela and Michael are able to talk to each other. 

It's also absurd that you can get a K-1 Visa for someone you spent 8 hours with while docked during a cruise.

I don't expect anything from a teenager, especially not one who seems to have had no father figure in most of his life, has a flighty mom who brings a stranger into her home (and who knows how often she's attempted to foist a new boyfriend on her kids- he's implied this isn't the first time), and is, well- a teenager.  I fault her for dragging him (and his brothers) into her drama, manipulating THEIR emotions ("how do you feel? are you happy? are you sad?") and taking them on her emotional roller-coaster ride.  This relationship should have developed outside of them, and they should have been her priority. She clearly told them that she brought him into their home because she deserved happiness, and the implied postscript to that is "whether or not you guys care."  She's getting the reaction she deserved and should have expected.

I would say that most kids his age are unlikeable a good part of their waking hours.  Hormones, adolescence... it's a hard, hard time.

As an adult male who wanted to marry their mother MURSEL should have been the one to make the effort.  Instead the kids reached out to him by asking questions and offering to play video games and were slapped down at every turn.

He hasn't a leg to stand on if a) he knew Anna had the boys and b) he knew his family in Turkey would reject the situation.  This is a social more problem that he was personally responsible for.  There is no unfair editing - the situation is quite clear and really not able to be edited any other way.  

Anna had the boys; she didn't hide it from him, he was well aware; he knew his family, based on their culture, would reject the situation.

Someone reported elsewhere in one of the earlier episodes that the translations were faulty, but the rejection of the boys should never have been allowed to happen, long before Mursal came to the US.

I think I "hearted" every post so far, there are no likeable people on this show except for Robert's sister.

Emily says to her Russian ne'er do well that money is running low so they should get married asap, how is that going to get them money?  Throwing your hosts food away is a ballsy move, I would have thrown away his cell phone while maintaining eye contact with him all the while.  For the record, I have no junk food in my house, none because I will eat it till I am sick then I throw out what is left, seems odd that none of those packages were open, like they were planted there as a prop.

Every time Anna and Mursel's segments came on, I had two emotions: 1 - I thought I was watching a different show, and 2 - I wanted to borrow a shoe from Darcy and throw it at the TV.

First of all, ALL three of her kids were not happy with Murcel. He seems to have little to do with them and there was nothing remotely fun about him. He made it clear through his body language, interactions with them and his refusal to acknowledge their existence to his parents that they were a problem. An inconvenience. The youngest one even said in an episode that he thought they were going to break up. The others said similar things about how nothing ever works out for her, he doesn't seem to care about them and the oldest was fully against it from day one. 

All of a sudden last night, the glum faces on the kids, the youngest looking like someone just took his favorite toy away, comments "you broke a child's heart" (I wanted to smack the shit out of Anna for saying that), and the middle kid being upset because "I thought he was going to help me with stuff." What? What show am I watching?

Her mother made it sound like it was this storybook romance that he was walking out on. "you came here. You broke my daughter's heart." Please. This is all Anna's fault. She was so desperate for a man that she settled for a guy that she cannot communicate with, that acts like a detached robot, and someone who pretended her kids did not exist to his family. He made it very clear that they would not be accepted by his family and that he had no plans to tell them because if he did, they'd be against the marriage and it would not happen. Anna- in American perspective of "just stand up to them and tell them mode"-- forced the issue so he told them and what happened was exactly what he said would happen. Grandma needs to look no further than her daughter to find out who is to blame for this mess. 

All this crying and heartbreak seem more about mourning she has to go back to square one to fine another possible mate. Even during this crisis period, Mursel has not wavered from the fact that he is going back and that it's over. Anna's attitude to him on the phone saying, "It's over," was laughable. He wasn't saying that he wanted to come see you because he wants to change the fact that it's over. At least that was my impression. I place this 100% on Anna. She put this guy before her kids because she wanted a man. She tried to fit a square peg into a round hole out of desperation and eventually found out that that doesn't work. And now we get to see her bawling like a baby because how could this have happened. My sympathy meter is at a big fat zero here.

Mike and Natalie. She's just too psycho for me. He's in for it if he does not bail out. I'm confused about the visa process here. Maybe I'm not remembering correctly, but wasn't Natalie expecting to get it a while back and was notified that it was delayed or denied and she begged him to go visit her? Then he was all whining that it was so expensive but went anyway. When Mike went to the Embassy in the show last night the only thing they would tell him is that it is pending. Did they appeal it and not tell us or did I miss something here? Color me confused.

I forgot her name but Blake's gal is nothing but a lazy slug. The last thing she wanted to do was help his mother make food. She's such a stick in the mud and seriously, what if she and Blake do get an apartment and get married? What will she do? She seems to have no desire to do anything at all. Someone should hook her up with Sasha. On another note, if Blake is a music producer, why does he not have money for an apartment? The story of these two is suspect to me. We are supposed to believe that Blake did not know his uber old school religious parents would not allow him to bring a new girlfriend to live with them? Stop insulting our intelligence, please. She keeps saying things like she does not care to know his friends or family or anything, just him. But this is a guy in a social business. There is schmoozing all over the place and her sitting there with a stick up her ass is not going to be helful, nor will her insistence that he be home with her all the time work well either. They are a very strange match. I still get pings about him and wonder where his backbone is when she's being such a bitch when they are out with his friends.

Sasha: this won't end well but Emily is just too dim. She seems like such a weak woman to me. She looks past so many things and makes excuses for this lout and will be shocked when it all comes crashing down. I was impressed when she told him in the gym that it's not her family's responsibility to mind/raise/watch their kid but this whole "he's tired, he's in a bad mood" stuff needs to just stop.  

Glad for a week free of Juliana and Michael.

Oops: Forgot about Syngin and Tania. If he marries her, he deserves whatever he gets.

Everybody coming down on on Anna's oldest kid for why? I'd have treated Musel worse if I were in his position! From the JUMP his dumbass banana chasing Mom brings home the village idiot who denes his very existence, and even his own Mom even denied his existence! Ddin't claim her own kids! Anna and Mursel are scum. You don't think those kids pick up on these vibes? Kids are smart, even if they didn't tell the kids, they know. I said it in the beginning that Mursel probably tired to get Anna to move to Turkey and I bet she considered it. I'm sure that cherry angioma covered faced bitch probably promised him she'd move back with him in a couple of years. Probably plans on dumping the kids on grandma. I give those kids carte blanche for treating both those two tools like crap. Fuck them both up the ass with a rusty pipe. Anna, get sterilized. Can not believe she agreed to play out this storyline on national television and have it documented for all to see her horrible parenting choices! Those poor kids jfc. I hope they leave her alone in a nursing home and she can complain to all the staff how her kids never come see her. Seen it so many times and it usually because the parent was abusive.
