Darcy is in Middletown - that is only about half an hour from Colchester.

Someone should tell him.

Noooo!! Poor Syngin.

If we're going to play 90 Day Matchmaker, I'd pair Syngin with Molly. She pissed me off in her season, but I do think she's a kind, genuine person, and I think they'd mesh well.

I can't think of anyone to pair Tania up with....maybe Mohammit or that douche-bro from Arizona, I think his name is Josh, simply because he's had a vasectomy and she should never have a child.

Beekeeper Anna should be with a loaf of stale bread.

I think Anna's love for Mursel stems from the fact he checks off her boxes:

White- check

Not balding/ has hair -- check

Taller than her -- check

Has penis -- check

I don't think Anna is much different than Danielle, in that she's trying to keep a man that is more attractive than what she could get domestically. I know people aren't finding Mursel model material, but I'm sure in her area, men that are her age and would date her, Mursel is like a dream boat. I used to live in Iowa, and I guarantee you, most men his age are bald, fat, and sloppy. Mursel DOES have the hick-farmer speak down. The way he talks is very similar to some of the  super rural farmer guys I was raised around. Very little speech, never initiates conversation, only motivated to eat and fuck. Silent and doesn't engage with anyone unless he needs to eat or sleep.  Not a lot of consideration into the quality of either. I sense that Mursel is from a small rural town and is a farmer. So Nebraska IS a fit in that sense.

I don't know, you really think that in all of the United States of America Anna couldn't find a better match?

There is some debate over whether Anna's area is more urban or rural, but even if she is in a rural area....if she is using the internet to meet simple weird rude little men who don't speak the same language, why couldn't she use the internet to meet someone in the entire United States?

Is he taller than Anna?  He looks so little to me.  Also - not attractive, but I think a lot of that is his personality.

It's just such a bizarre thing to me, unless she was specifically talking about those prepared seasoning (not spices) that are high in sodium. Some of those are very unhealthy, but who on earth uses them enough to cause an issue? I understand people who are on low-sodium diets for a health concern avoiding them, but a young, healthy woman has no need to avoid them all together. So weird.

It may be she’s not well acquainted with spices in general - my husband is from Scandinavia (Norway) and when I first started going there 30 years ago they literally had no spices in their food - just salt and pepper. Everything they ate then and still most of what they eat at home is bland and white (fish, potatoes every day, boiled cauliflower even in summer). My mom-in-law had never had a “spicy” meal until she came here to visit - mild Mexican food still blows her away. I can say the influx of immigrants and globalization of the last 20 years have broadened the younger generation’s palate, but Finland may still be a bit behind Norway in that regard.

Or she’s a nut and thinks spices aren’t healthy 😆.

I was thinking the same thing

That in Finnish cuisine they might not use a lot of spices. Because of where they are located and their surrounding countries they probably didn't have a lot of access to spices for a long time. I am sure it's different now, but you aren't going to change a nation's cuisine overnight. Some people are sensitive to spices. Maybe she is one of them?

Aren’t the dried fish they eat caked in salt?  Seems less healthy than a little basil.

Yes, but they rinse out the salt before they prepare it (many many changes of water) but I’m sure it still has lots of sodium in it 😉

If Anna could have found a better match domestically, she wouldn't have been looking internationally. It seems pretty clear to me.

Unlike the locals, MRSA didn’t send dick pics — because he couldn’t master the technology.

Minnesota gal here and yes I am from Scandinavian stock as well - we made the national news about twenty years back for making extra mild salsa.....so yeah I get it.  Now I like spices and spicy food but it was a learned thing.  Garlic is my friend!!!

Yes I love lefse (I own two grilles) and yes I love herring but I give a hard no on lutefisk, lol!

I want to hang out in the kitchen with Blake's mom!!  I would eat her cooking like it was my job!  She is a rude guest.  Look, I am married and when we visit my mom in law I offer to help in the kitchen as that is what I I was brought up to do.  Now my mom in law was a home ec teacher, so if she says please go sit down, I sit down.  If she asks for a leaf in the table, we get a leaf in the table.  My parents raised us right, dammit!  But Jazmine just shuffles off to her room!  I would have asked her to play cards, a board game, go thrifting.....something!  You only get one chance to make a first impression and Jazmine blew it.

Does anyone else think Tania only wants a husband and baby because her sister has both? It only occurred to me when Tania was objecting so strongly to Syngin’s request for one text a night - she doesn’t seem to want his companionship, and she similarly doesn’t seem to care where the baby comes from, as long as it goes home to her she-shed.

I wonder if her sister is younger?  Some women (my sister and I don't have that type of relationship) get VERY agitated if Little Sister gets married first and has a baby.

I'm always surprised by people being jealous of their younger siblings getting married and having babies first. Like you're supposed to "wait your turn"....

Yeah, my sister is four years older, got married at 24, I married eight years later at 29 and she would have given zero f**ks if I had wed first.  Like who the hell cares??

Even if I cut her slack on spices (which is insane, since she didn't live in a cave and spiced doesn't have to mean hot), She should know plenty of herbs.  At the very least dill, which is like the most Scandinavian herb ever.

Agreed. She said "seasonings", not spices. Its 2020, not 1820. Its not like hardy sailors are heading to Indonesia on the perilous journey to obtain pepper and nutmeg. At least some herbs and spices are available all over the world. If she's living somewhere where she can get her hair professionally cut and colored, and get botox and fillers jammed into her face, she can find oregano or a lemon at the market.

No kidding!!  Like who the hell wants THAT?  He is just so unappealing.  Small head, zero personality, dislikes America, dislikes her food, dislikes her kids, tells her she can't drink - what a catch!  Spineless and won't stand up to his family.  Someone here (or maybe it was IG) suggested his parents are 100% bankrolling his life, hence the control over him.  I do think Anna was his first sexual experience.  He seems so sheltered and weird.

Tonia - if you think Syngin is clingy, wait till a baby arrives.  Let me tell you - those little buggers are stage five clingers, lol!!!  Good Lord, my hubs goes to his hunting cabin, I request a text telling me he is there.  No biggie.  I text back telling him I love you, then that is that.  It takes about 45 seconds total.

Frozen Finn is rude.  Go make lunch with Blake's mom and make nice.  She sits there, clearly agitated, and you can tell she was wanting to go back to her room and be alone.  No, you help cook, you eat unless there is an allergy/religious reason, and then ask Mom if she needs anything or wants to do errands together.

Robert/Anny - I already unloaded on him but let me go at this again:  You can shut it with calling Anny a "lazy ass" for being in bed at 5am.  She is giving you free daycare so you can sit your ass down.  You are working, yes, but you are sitting in a car and driving.  Not exactly Mensa material nor is it lifting concrete in and out of trucks all day.  I am NOT chapping on Uber/Lyft drivers - not at all - but he can spare me with the poor hardworking me routine.  You pick people up, follow a GPS and drop them off.  Someone needs to tell SisterRobert that if Anny's expectations are high, Robert put them there.  I can just hear his drawl:  "Oh Anny, I am gonna take you shopping, gonna buy you this, gonna treat my lady right!!"  SisterRobert should be horrified that Bryson is sleeping in the same room, let alone the same BED as two people, one of who is very vocal about wanting coitus three times a day.  And Robert, you can double sit your ass down - complaining she wants sex all the time?  Yeah, most guys would agree with you.......(insert eyeroll here)

Angela:  GET A BRA THAT FITS.  And clothes that flatter you.  So her lawyer said to wait it out, and perhaps try for the spousal visa, either way you are looking at 18 months.  His lawyer says get married here and you will be in the US in a few weeks.  Did I hear that correctly?  So now Meemaw has to takes two weeks to fly to Nigeria and verbally berate Michael for blowing the interview.  It was not voodoo that lost your passport, dimwit - it was your shitty housekeeping.

Lmao great post mrs. Hanson ❤

You know, my memory is bad and I forgot how rude Mursel's behavior was when he first arrived. However, it also seems to me, and maybe I'm misremembering, that Joey told the camera before Mursel's arrival that he had no interest in him, nor any interest in getting along. It also seems to me he said the same thing to Mursel when he first arrived. I remember the younger kids trying to make conversation, etc. Mursel sat there like a bump on a log.

Yes, the onus is on Mursel as the adult, and maybe Joey has been through this before, but we don't really know. I still find him unlikeable. Like Mursel, he seems to have no interest in anyone but himself. Anna's brought this on her family, it's true. In the end, I don't have a dog in this show because they're a mess all around.

I think Joey is a great kid...he's just being honest, which is something Mursel and Anna haven't been...it must be so hard for him to be put in this situation thanks to his selfish mother

Mursel showed his real colors when he acted to his family as if the kids were a surprise to him...he let them believe Anna didn't tell him...Anna might be a selfish, stupid bitch, but what he did was extremely cowardly...he's not a real man, he's a spineless monster

And btw, who paid for Mursel's plane ticket and visa? Seems to me it would've been cheaper for him to get laid in Turkey...unless the whores there are pickier than Anna

Probably Anna paid for it all...if so, it's sad she wasted that money getting laid when she has 3 children to care for...surely there are male "escorts" she could've hired for less without putting it right into her house where the kids could hear...i despise her

I don't get your premise here because:

(1) Anna's children look like they are mixed to me.  I assume that the baby daddy is Mexican so technically could be considered "white" but I'm not sure that being "white" is a must-have for Anna.

(2) Mursel doesn't look more attractive nor taller than her.  He's as stumpy as she is and is most definitely not more attractive than her.  They both are in the same league.

Of all the 90 day F'er stories, her "love story" seems to be more organic -- they met on a FB group on their beekeeping love.   She may not have been intentionally seeking an international mate.

Seems like with most of the 90 day F'ers, they go internationally to have more control over their mates than they'd have here.  They'll find someone desperate to come to America that are far more attractive than they could ever get domestically.  Then they hold the green card over their heads.  And of course there are the men who claim the women in other continents aren't as bitchy and *gasp* as  independent as American women.

Saying otherwise is calling her a ho. And she likes knowing she has him all off kilter.

Yeah the kids have pretty indigenous features so dad wasn't White.

I think if I saw a still shot of Mursel, I'd think he was a reasonably handsome guy. But once I saw him in person or a video or something, the "village idiot" vibe would become immediately apparent.

So based on this description -- how's about Tania & Mursel get together? I know she probably wants a good looking guy, but deep down, it's probably more important for her to be able to boss someone around and control him. Tania could give Mursel instructions on improving the she shed (Mursel made a honeycomb altar, so he may be a bit handy) and he would probably do whatever she wanted for some action in the bedroom. If he's motivated by food, Tania would have to convince Mother Tania to part with some of her tiramisu. Because in Tania's feeble brain, she's too "woke" to make meals for her man. Alien God (I'm looking at you, Michael Paul Bunyan) forbid, she realize that a couple is a team, and they can take turns cooking for each other or actually cook meals TOGETHER.

Tania could be out all night with her friends and I don't think Mursel would give a fuck. And Mursel seems to just be content hanging out and not doing anything. By himself. Maybe he is good at sewing. And can make some bras for his saggy woke wife.

Not to be mean, but in the past, a lot of Eastern European young people followed trends (fashion, music, movies) that were about 10-20 years behind the Western world (I have no idea if this is still the case, given the influence of the Internet and social media) Remember in the 90s when disco music was all the rage in Russian clubs? Well, anyway, it's like Emily is doing the same thing, only she's American, and from the West Coast to boot! It's not like she's from some small farming community in the mid-west in the '80s, so understandably a few years behind fashion wise either.

This definitely was not true at least in countries with borders to Western Europe. I grew up in Czechoslovakia during 70's and 80's and because we were close to the border with Austria (my town Bratislava is only hour away from Austria's capitol Vienna) we were able to listen Austrian radio stations and catch tv signals and watch Austrian tv. So I used to watch Knight rider and Tom and Jerry and every Saturday night Solid Gold and on Sunday top 20 videos of what was popular everywhere else and listening what was playing in western Europe and America. My grandma would watch Dallas and other stuff since she could speak German (I took classes but hated German so it didn't stick. Just like the Russian we had to take in school for 8 years). My cousins lived in middle part of Slovakia so they were not able to catch the tv or radio signal but some people had video players so there was still way to get these things if you were interested. There was also black market for music magazines and tapes and LP's. Every Sunday morning there would be meet at some location where people would go for these things. Of course every few months the location got busted by police but in couple weeks there would be new location found and that kept going until Velvet revolution. After that it turned official.

But fashion was entirely different thing. There were lots of fashion magazines brought from Germany (Burda) and Austria that were full of patterns so people were trading these and making their own fashionable clothes everywhere. Fashion magazines were easily brought in as they wouldn't be confiscated (like other stuff could). It was probably the easiest thing to find. If someone in your family knew how to sew (and most of the women knew) you had no problem to look good. My mom used to make stuff for me and also we found a professional seamstress that would make more complicated stuff. So pretty much the entire 80's me and my sister looked like any kid from western Europe. Every piece of my clothing except sweaters were handmade. To this day people in eastern Europe get dressed properly every time they leave the house. There is no such a thing like here in America that you run out to the store in sweat pants. People take care about their appearance and wear the latest trends. Even if they are just taking kids to playground they will have make up and be dressed nicely. People are very judgemental so you don't want to look like slob.

And just want to add that all movie theaters played western stuff too. All the American 80's thrillers, mafia movies, horrors and stuff that wasn't about politics was available in whole country so you would still see it even if not on tv. The same goes for most of books. If it wasn't about certain things it would be translated and printed. Also stuff that would kind of criticise America and West would be available. I remember getting Norman Mailer Executioner song for Christmas when I was 11.

(1) Anna's children look like they are mixed to me.  I assume that the baby daddy is Mexican so technically could be considered "white" but I'm not sure that being "white" is a must-have for Anna.

Yes Anna said somewhere that their father is Mexican. Apparently she lived and taught in Mexico several years ago and he might still be there which would explain why he’s not in the boys’ lives

When Tania answered the phone in the club with the random guy she was dancing with in the shot that was really a dick move. First of all she only answered while she was “busy” to juvenilely dig at Syngin and make him jealous. Then she continued to be juvenile and obnoxious throughout the call.  And brag to him that she knows ways to cheat the system as in if she went home with some guy she would just schedule a “back safe” message for an hour from then to fool him. It’s like yeah I took you out of your home country away from everything and everyone you know to live in a shed and do nothing all day, but I’m not ready for the commitment of talking to you once a day for a few minutes.  She should realize that someone who is super bored would want to talk to the ONE and ONLY person that is the reason he is in that situation. She is such an immature brat that I would not trust to raise a small tank of sea-monkeys much less be responsible for another person’s welfare.

There is a Tunisian love rat on the Just Landed web series who equals or surpasses Aladdin in looks.

That show came on at the end of some special about most outrageous moments or something and I was totally confused about what I was watching and who these people were. I thought it was the new set of people until I saw another promo for those (even crazier) people, then I saw on here it was a web series. So I guess these people were not interesting enough to make it to prime time? And yeah I thought that guy looked a lot like Aladin.

I don't know, you really think that in all of the United States of America Anna couldn't find a better match?

I ask myself the same thing for EVERY. SINGLE. 90 DAYER.

The answer is, apparently, NO.

Yeah it’s just six short eps so easy to binge.

We could match the Americans.  How about Coltie and Danielle?

So based on this description -- how's about Tania & Mursel get together? I know she probably wants a good looking guy, but deep down, it's probably more important for her to be able to boss someone around and control him. Tania could give Mursel instructions on improving the she shed (Mursel made a honeycomb altar, so he may be a bit handy) and he would probably do whatever she wanted for some action in the bedroom.

Remember, Mursel doesn't go downtown. I have a feeling that Tania would have a strong opinion about that.

She is certainly better looking, younger and probably more financially secure than Laura.  And she is blonde, which apparently is the international gold standard of hair colors.

She should have been able to find an aladin. At least a zied.  At the very least, at least zieds soccer friend, who would be way more appreciative.

Yes, I think an Aladin or any of Zied's friends would be thrilled to get their mitts on Anna.

@ava111, I enjoyed your entire post but I wanted to address this. I had a friend from Czechoslovakia in the 80's, and she was always dressed to the nines. She loved to dress sexy and she made sure she was well turned out wherever we went. Her bf was in a band with my husband, and at gigs the rest of us band widows were casual. Not her. She was in a skin tight leather dress and heels. I have a friend from Moldova who says that everyone dresses up there too.

I've seen a couple suggestions that Syngin get with Darcy but I object to that for one reason: I fully support that man procreating & and I'm pretty sure Darcy's aigs are too old.

She claims to be around 42 which is still possible but perhaps inadvisable.

The first time we saw Anna's mother, I learned via Dr. Google that they are the result of high cholesterol. A couple of weeks later, when a woman was shown on Doctor Pimple Popper with the same deposits in her under eye area, I was able to diagnose the condition even before she saw the doctor! Dr. Lee was able to remove them.

While I'm on the subject of dermatological conditions, I'm not sure removing Anna's moles is a simple procedure. My husband had a similar raised mole on his cheek that he was very self-conscious about but the doctor was reluctant to remove it for purely cosmetic reasons citing that it could make things worse because moles have deep roots and can leave a crater when they're removed. She did finally remove it a couple of years ago and it required quite a long incision and several stitches but fortunately it has healed well and is no longer visible.

Were the patients as large as mother Anna ? because those babies are huge.
My husband had a mole on side of his nose that was removed while I was in the room and I was amazed  the product they stuff into wound so that you don’t get an dent.  I would think getting them removed to rule out cancer would be an issue. The last small thing I had removed was shaped like a particular cancer so my doctor (who I thought was going to remove it)  but sent me to dermatologist who removed it and did a biopsy.
I think it’s wonderful that we can diagnose, give law advice ,and are crack detectives. We are not wasting our  time and brain cells here!

I had a tiny mole removed from my upper thigh, as it was irregularly shaped, and the dermatologist wanted to remove it in its entirety, just to be safe (turned out to be benign).

I was amazed at the huge hole it left.  He cut a perfect circle (freehand!), and went very deep and left a crater.  At the time, I was like, well it's just my upper thigh, no one will really notice.  But you know what?  It healed perfectly, flattened out with the rest of my skin, and all I have left is a slightly whiter spot than the rest of my skin.

Anna could find herself either a very skilled dermatologist or a plastic surgeon who specializes in facial reconstruction to get those bad boys removed.  They are distracting.  I know, I know, it's her face, her choice, but maybe she & her mom can get a deal?

I’ve said it before, but there needs to be a “Dr. Pimple Popper” crossover!

Seriously, though, we have a family history of melanoma and I’m a redhead, so I regularly get checked out by the dermatologist and have moles removed.  I had one that was flat, but about the size of a pencil eraser on the top of my foot where the skin’s thin and the pressure on the sutures would be high.  A plastic surgeon removed it and there’s barely a noticeable scar, unlike the other places where the dermatologist removed even smaller moles.  Unfortunately, though, insurance may not pay for Anna’s mole removal if it’s just cosmetic.
