Gina will say, “I’d like to paint my kitchen a different color.”

“Nothing has changed about this show”—False, Andy!  Andy was kind of awful this time, really inserting himself and being sarcastic.  It’s one of the things I hate about him.  He’s not professional.  He also is either a great actor, or he truly feels that this show is giving women some sort of platform.  He’s always asking how the show affected this or that in a woman’s marriage and they always say the show helped.  And then he acted like Gina sharing her domestic violence story was a growing moment.  There are no growing moments on this show.  It is all trash.  Gina is getting her story out to the media just the way Matt is.  Nothing new there.

That montage, audition video and footage of Vicki screaming about her show was awesome.  It was so much better than trying to put a lie to her words with words.

Yes, Braunwyn, you’re incredibly brave.  Really giving Joan of Arc a run for her money.

Tamra looks like Braunwyn?  Huh?  From anything other than behind?

This particular sex talk, mostly from Tamra, is degrading.  They’re making sex dirty and sensationalizing it.  They’re stripping it of the intimacy.  I don’t really care who does what with whom—although I don’t support cheating—but to talk about it as an obvious bid to get attention is quite unappealing.

Kelly, I had completely forgotten there was a rumor that you threw your mother down the stairs, but now that you mention it, I remember.  And I definitely think there’s some truth to that or it wouldn’t still be a thing.  Tamra, shut the fuck up about Kelly’s relationship.  Who cares what she does with her family?  Shouldn’t we “watch what happens”?  Tamra is so jealous that Kelly is a.) having sex b.) with a man who loves her romantically c.) who has money.

Emily seems really hard to be married to.  She seems very needy and, I don’t have evidence to back this up, but she seems like she says one thing when she means another.  I think she’s very comfortable as a victim.  

Shane came off well, for Shane.  He conducts himself as a lawyer.  He came ready with well-spoken spin.  He knows he came off horribly this season, so he’s keeping his responses short.  Even if he can’t pass the CA bar, I think he’s far smarter than Emily.  Interesting that Braunwyn was playing the role of devastated friend, but Tamra, Shannon, Gina and Kelly stood up for Shane and said Emily was not telling the truth.  

Why did we waste so much time on Emily’s weight—where we learned nothing new—but not a word that she’s raising a dog-kicker?

Gina’s body language in the photos with Travis is exactly the same as her body language in the photos with Matt.  Why does she feel like she has to drape her whole entire body over a man in every picture?  Insecure much?

Why does Kelly have to interrupt Gina’s story to say there was alcohol involved?  As a viewer, I appreciate the extra info, but Kelly would lash out if someone said that to her.  She’d have that Kelly pause and then bare her teeth, turn to the offender and scream, “of course there was alcohol involved, you twat!”  This is my problem with her...inconsistent behavior.

Tamra, are you the moderator?  Asking if Matt is going to go to jail.  Then Tamra going all Dr Phil and analyzing the situation like she’s in a position to know what to say.  I don’t think anyone wants Tamra’s opinion on domestic violence.  She strikes me as the type to say the woman was asking for it.  I’m sure if allegations came out that Ryan dragged what’s-her-name, the woman that Ryan had a baby with, the one that Tamra said he’s back with, she’d back Ryan 100% and not ask questions unless she was filming.  

Things were better once Vicki left.  I feel like they got to a more honest place.  I don’t hate Vicki as much as some—I hate her about evenly with the rest of them—but I’m confused about her place here.  I think Vicki needs to completely sit out at least a full season to realize this is not her show.  I’m not really sure why she wants to be here, knowing that she was demoted, and I’m not sure why she thinks she’s in a position to dictate anything, knowing she was demoted.  A very strange dynamic is at work.  Andy seems scared of her.

This was a bad season, but I still maintain the one with Peggy and Diko was worse.  

There is an insanely low bar, but:

Winners (IMO) of this installation:  Shannon, Gina and Kelly.  Losers:  Andy, Tamra, and Vicki.  

In the matter of Emily vs Shane, I’m afraid that Emily is probably at least as guilty as Shane

I shudder for the future when I hear that there is a bolder new Braunwyn coming to DVD and Blu-Ray.

Shane almost seemed human. 

Shannon looked super jealous when Shane said he’d never said a word to Emily about her weight and that he thought she was beautiful. I’m guessing Shannon never got that kind of validation from a-hole David. 

I still think Tamra is the devil and continues to get off way too easy.

We’ve seen all sides of Vickie, but tonight she was downright belligerent and foul in ways I didn’t expect.

I’ve never been a hater towards Vickie, and at times over the past several years I’ve swung from liking to disliking to being neutral towards her. But what I saw in her tonight was so ugly, I don’t think she’ll get better, I think she’ll progressively get worse and I think Steve will be gone in a year, if not sooner  

Moving on, I don’t like Braunwyn at all, I think she’s trashy, but this IS a trashy group, so she probably fits in. I personally would be happy never to see her or hear from her again.

Seriously, Ms. High and Mighty, how and why do you think they’re so many children watching this shit show? Trust me, my children would have never been allowed to watch it. I have held off commenting on the reunion series until this final installment, here are my final thoughts for this season:

Vicki, you are still the needy hole of suck that you have been from season one. You are an insecure, immature, hypocrite that no one including your own family really wants to be around, hence your constant need for validation from any unfortunate person who enters into the planet Vicki vortex. Andy was really pissed at you this season and rightfully so, you should not even have been on for the last few seasons. So yes in your own words, be done with the show that you now are so embarrassed of you windbag!

Tamra, you never cease to amaze me always being the teflon chameleon that gets away once again.

Shannon, this season you really disappointed. 

Kelly, You are a true friend until someone turns on you and then you lose your shit. You speak the truth but it gets lost in your anger responses. Learn to keep yourself together better and you will win more at life.

Brawny, glad that you have taken a step back from your looney mom, hope this means she will not be on tv anytime soon again.

Emily and Shane, we finally get a little further peek behind the wizards curtain.

Gina, never have really warmed to you, but did like you having more of an honest voice about your marital issues and some of the issues/interactions between the women.

My final take away is that if there is a next season I am on the fence until finding out who will be filming.

I think Tamra has seen the writing on the walls, hence her little tête-à-tête with Andy as Vicky departs the set. She was all gung ho for the tres amoebas for  two seasons, but now she is seeing that decade long double teaming with Vicky is no longer going to work. Well I did not feel sympathy  for Vicky, I thought she really looked pathetic and sad as she sat there screeching.  She has behaved deplorably for almost her entire run on the show.... Now that she’s 57 and a grandmother it’s time to raise the level?!! She’s never felt it necessary to call out Tamra on her behaviour.Either Steve is a real Svengali or this is Vicky’s desperate Hail Mary. Sadly, Shannon is too far up Tamra’s bottom to see the same writing and will continue to follow Tamra’s lead. I never thought I would cheer Kelly on,But have appreciated her not kowtowing to the tres amoebas. I think she, Emily, and Braunwyn seem to enjoy a good friendship. With a little therapy and continued anger management, I think Kelly could be a tremendous asset to the show. I’ve always appreciated her intelligent approach to some of the fabulous trips to which these women have been treated, her curiosity and respectful treatment of the local people. In my opinion, she has always demonstrated far better behaviour in the situations than either Vicky or Tamra. Shannon would do well to remember that you are the company that you keep. And I will never forget that Kelly was Vicky’s only friend a few seasons ago,  when everyone had rightly called Vicky out on her cancer scamming. Vicky filled her ear with all kinds of gossip and innuendo, setting her up nicely to do Vicky’s  dirty work. Vicky promptly dumped Kelly as soon as she saw her opportunity to have Tamra’s friendship back again. Shannon is too self-absorbed to see Tamra’s manipulations. I never ever thought I would support Kelly, but seeing these three in action this season really made me change my point of view.  In my mind Tamra will never be able to redeem herself and Shannon will need a great deal of work to do so. I wonder how Vicky feels after seeing tonight’s show and If she is under the illusion that her indignant anger came across as anything more than ignorant and hypocritical.

A. Right? Dogs and rumors of dogs made up a whole (terrible) season of RHOBH. Why not continue the theme?

B. Peggy and Diko seem quaint. I miss Diko’s circa-1987 Eurotrash-by-way-of-Dave-Gahan style and his crazy way of spinning yarns about his homeland, like a youngish Sophia Petrillo. So ridiculous and stupidly excessive, but that’s how I like my housewives and buttinsky househusbands.

It sounded like a threat but what I took away from that was Vicki being the delusional, self righteous ass she is. She really thinks that she created this show and that HE has HER to thank for his career. While it was probably a threat (in her crazy mind) she can’t do shit to him. In fact, I am pretty certain that was the nail in her coffin. Someone said above that Andy seemed scared of her; I disagree. What I got from his expression and texting was that he’s DONE with her.

I loved that too. Cohen is useless at reunions but him spitting out "I saw your audition tape!" went a long way to redeeming him in my eyes. I hope they do bring Vicki back - as a friend again, not main cast. Part III was much better than Part II, which Bravo could have kept. I don't know the network feels like all the Housewives have to have Three Part reunions. The only reason I can think of why Bravo loves to drag these reunions out is for ratings, which equal money.

Some thoughts:

Please Bravo, do not bring Vicki back as a friend or a full time Housewife. She is hypocritical, loud, nasty, arrogant, and annoying. I loved when Bravo ran back all her plays that showed she's no better than Braunwyn who she thinks is so low class. And Vicki hates Braunwyn for what reason? Braunwyn never did anything to her.

I feel like I got a better understanding of Shane. It is possible he is getting a bad edit from Bravo as both Kelly and Gina admitted that Emily plays a role in their marital issues as well. I still think Emily and Shane would be better as co-parents and friends than as a couple. Their marriage, while I'm sure they have good moments, just seems overall toxic to both of them.

So Kelly is trying to have a long distance relationship? I didn't know much about Rick except he worked for Fox News, but I think it's weird that he hadn't met Jolie prior to the reunion being filmed. I'm sure he has met her now since Rick and Kelly are engaged, but I would never get into a serious relationship with a man without him meeting my child. I'd have to know that he could accept me and my daughter as a package deal.

I felt so bad for Gina. I'm so glad she is out of her marriage to Matt. If he truly felt sorry for what he did, he would apologize to Gina publicly and take accountability. Instead, he publicly downplayed what he did to her while he privately sent Gina flowers--probably in an attempt to manipulate her into coming back to him. I'm glad she has a new man in her life who treats her like she deserves to be treated.

The recreation of Miraval with everyone saying what they wanted to let go of and what they wanted in their lives was a nice way to end the season.

I give this season about a B-. It would have been a B+ had the season not dragged on as long as it did.

I think it was odd that Shane failing the bar exam for the third time wasn't addressed unless it was edited out because Andy didn't want to embarrass him.

My heart skipped a beat in joy when I read the words Vickie and farewell.  Hope the old lady's daughter takes a serious dent out of her assets.  Vickie as an insurance broker has a responsibility to put her clients with financially stable carriers.  Her Errors and Omissions insurance will probably pay the lawsuit but she will have some difficulty getting renewal coverage.  Still think she should lose her license with the whole Cure All Cancer scheme.

This vision has been on the downward slide for a long time to the point where she is "a friend". So what does she do to redeem herself and save her orange-sues them. In some ways I do agree with Vicki the whole Tamra and Borewin are very classless they are not teenagers and doing this sort of stuff no wonder their children have issues. (Problem with Vicki is she judges others yet does awful things herself)

 

Borewin keep going on about having babies that is a choice no one forced her to spend 20 years being a baby machine and is a poor excuse if you have that many children you should be even more mature.

 

Vicki is suppose to be religious so I can understand Vicki point if coming from that angle but Tamara should be the same yet is not so very selective here.

Borewin comes across as very fake she is like the celebs that pr people have written everything for them to say and act a set way.

 

I think the way they show Shane is very selective as well the way Emily comes across I can tell she is very annoying and would keep going on about things so he proberly has had enough of it also she is another one which is so fake when on cam plus around people. (Him failing the BAR again is poor if you can't do it three times you either have an issue with tests or shouldn't be trying to work in that field)

 

How can you send a text to wrong person really come on you must be so dumb to do that and again moaning about weight which again I bet Shane has to keep putting up with that just do a bloody diet it's not hard if done correctly you dont even need to exercise.

 

I liked that Shane came on the show and he is nothing like they are trying to make out also he tells the truth. The show has clearly tried to make him out to be the bad guy and that clearly is not the case.

 

Just when you think Gina can't get anymore dumb she does this women deserves everything that has happened to her. The story she gave doesn't add up to me and someone who has had a dui you should be getting driving under control.

If she weren't engaged, I would say her not doing an introduction is the smartest thing she's done.  I don't think you should introduce your kids to every rando you date.  I probably took it to an extreme but I just introduced my 17 year-old to my BF of 2 years (we did have a 4 month break).  That said, I certainly wouldn't get engaged without having my kid meet the person and watch how they interact.

Frankly, I don't understand their hurry to get married.  They are old enough to know better that what they have is infatuation. They may be in love, but do they really know each other?  The last thing I'd want to show my kid is it's okay to get engaged 4 months after dating someone that you're in a long-distance relationship.  Good luck when Jolie, at 18, tells you she's getting married to someone she barely knows.

I do love her funny "what she'd give back" moment at the end..."Risky beauty choices".  That showed ability to poke fun at herself.

That's where Gina grew on me.  Her talking heads were great this year and she has a good sense of humor about herself.  Early in the season, I though she was crazy enough that she might have provoked the situation or flat out made it up.  I feel bad for ever thinking that as it is clear it was horrific and frightening.  And you can see that she's wanting to make excuses for why he behaved that way.

On revealing the text, seriously, was that REALLY that big of a fucking deal given what they film?  She accidentally sent a text to her in laws bitching about Shane.  My God, with some of the stuff they film and talk about what was said in confidence, this doesn't seem like a big deal at all.  Fuck, the in-laws get to watch her bad mouth him on the show.

If you’ve noticed, Kelly is quieter now that she’s engaged to a prominent newscaster.  I have a feeling she won’t be back.  He films from N.Y.C., so I’m assuming that’s where they will live????  She didn’t answer aboutJolie when asked.

I would have loved to watch this with Jenna Kough. I can only imagine her reactions to Ickie. I could almost swear that shortly after the show started I read that it was Jenna who was approached about the show. In the same article something was written that the Knickerbockers (hope the name is right) also had something to do with getting the show on the air. Ickie’s name was never mentioned. Anyone remember that?

Very disappointed in Shannon. Can't decide if she is a more polished version of Vileki and Tamrat, or weak and mirroring their nasty personalities.

What a shame.  Shannon was a beautiful, educated, proper woman, UNTIL she joined the devil Tamra.  Tamra taught her to be a big mouth tacky slob of a woman  with no class.  Her reputation is ruined.
