She definitely has hired a stylist, and probably a glam squad, too.  She was wearing a lot more makeup than ever before.

It's not that private.  Their financial problems have been all over the news.

A big criticism of BH is that they have ignored the financial problems that have been in the headlines with PK, Tom, Mauricio.  Whereas casts of ATL, NJ, Potomac have been put on blast. 

White Privilege? Double standard?  Because ATL and Potomac are a minority cast.  And NJ isn't as wealthy.

In the early aughts it was one of THE places to see and be seen. It was a high end department store.  It's like a west coast Barneys if Barneys was shallow and had a VERY juniors bent. It went out of business in 2015. The owner reopened the flagship store in 2017. Celebrities still shop there, but not as much they did back in the day.

Observations that make you go hmmmmmm....

There was a scene in an earlier episode I remember Dorit, and I think Kyle & Teddi or Kyle & Erika.

They were talking about going out and how their husbands loved socializing and schmoozing more than they did and they each would rather stay home. There were some comments like yeah hon you go on out to that business meeting

They did the Kitson reveal and PK was there. This "event" was supposedly very important for Dorit and a "planned" event of which she was taking them all to dinner.

So why did PK go home? Did he have to assist Boy George in shackling someone to the radiator? Did Production know that Camille  would mention PK as long as he wasn't there? Would Camille have been brave enough to say what she did if PK was there?

Even though Camille holds no diamond, am I the only one who thinks it bizarre that her new husband is never around?

David loves skis and boots more than Camille.

Any guesses on who the mysterious close friend of Camille is that is owed 2M from PK?

If this is supposed to be reality tv then that's what we are seeing - it may sound selfish to most, but the fact is that losing your stuff is losing your stuff.  I was at book club tonight where we were all reminiscing about the days when we were young and poor and could move from one apartment to another by calling friends and offering them beer and pizza to help out.  For my first few years after college I owned a sofa, table and chairs, bed, dresser and some clothes.  I would have been just as bummed as Camille was to lose those things!  And would have been thrilled for a thrift store coat.  But she was happy to get a Burberry and I would have been happy for a plastic poncho.  I can't get too mad with her that she was disappointed to lose a 6 bedroom million dollar house of stuff when I would have been upset at losing my apartment with 6 pieces of furniture, and now would be upset to lose the stuff I own in a 4 bedroom Ryan home.  The moral of the story is that we all love our stuff.

Camille has finally been the one to deliver to us, the viewers, something about the grifters’  Kemsley’s financial woes on the show! Its now up to Andy to come up with the goods and follow up with questions at the reunion. I try not to expect too much from the lame interviewer that is Andy, but I’m sooooo hoping he delivers on this one!

This is probably a very unpopular opinion around here, but I’m really enjoying the dynamic between the women, now that lvp isn’t around. And I absolutely love Rinna. Tonight’s episode was fun, but I don’t like the way Camille’s been acting. It just reminds why I didn’t like her in the past.

Classic insecure woman who needs to mirror the people around her, to fit in, rather than have their own style. Glam doesn’t suit Teddi as much as her old casual vibe did, IMO.

Exactly! Not to mention that woman (I forget her name) literally CHASED Dorit around that pool in the Bahamas asking why she hadn’t paid her friend the money she and PK owed him! ALL of the women were already fully aware of the Kemsley’s financial woes.

This was iconic! So for weeks theyve been saying how they're going to get Camille for her two faced comments, which I don't totally agree she is. Lisa Rinna, IMO has always been the manipulative one and ring leader. You saw it when she got upset Camille wasn't more upset with LVP. She wants to police your feelings and control the group. Unfortunately for her (and Teddi), Camille was prepared. She was supposed to leave the table in tears but nope, she owned up to everything and added to it. I only hate she didn't mention the filmed Bahamas incident. Based on that they ALL knew what was going on and you can't convince me none of them talked about it. Teddi even said on WWHL that they knew but didn't think it should be discussed on camera. These idiots should've never let Lisa Rinna follow up with mentioning what Camille said if they didn't want to talk about it. They're now responsible for putting her on blast when the season almost ended with her in the clear lol. I came in expecting one thing but Camille definitely saved the day with her boss move here.

I actually think Teddi looks better glammed up - the makeup somehow softens her Resting Bitch Face.  I do agree though that she is doing it to keep up with the others.  Ironically, the other women look better with less makeup/styling.

Speaking of which, Camille looked beautiful at the dinner.  But her TH looked awful- bad hair/makeup somehow made her eyes look really close together and rodent-like.  It was jarring every time they went from one Camille to the other.

Every now and then I see some Kitson label stuff at my local TJ Maxx.  Also, didn't Mike from Shah's of Sunset have a shoe line there right before it closed in '15? 

Dorit's Beverly Beach stuff is probably one of those limited things, like not a regular brand found in that store everyday.

Well, I have to give it to Erika, Kyle and Teddi. Erika very maturely and graciously accepted Teddi's and Kyle's apologies while also explaining that she was hurt by what they said. Good on her for the way she handled it and good on Kyle and Teddi for apologizing for bad behavior. 

I don't particularly care that Camille brought up Dorit's finances but I can't cheer her on for doing so. She's the one who was being shady about Dorit and all Dorit did was ask her what was up. It wasn't like Dorit was attacking Camille. But suddenly Camille was going after Dorit. 

It makes her good for the show but a pretty bad person.

Camille apparently knows someone to whom Dorit and PK owe money. Their failure to pay may be causing issues for this friend. So Camille, who looked like she was still in shock from the loss of her primary home, shot back when she was being badgered by the others for not rushing to condemn LVP. The others should not have gone there under the circumstances.

 I am not sure about how much Denise actually lost. That rental she was in may be owned by Bravo because it looks just like the place where Teddi and family lived last year. If this beach house is only being used to house a new cast member, Camille’s dismissiveness becomes more understandable.

Same here half watching and caught a glimpse of a woman in blue and was like who is that? I had no idea that it was Teddy. Didn't look anything like her. I thought this person was an older woman.  Pounds of makeup troweled on one's face does not enhance one's looks.

I'm still kind of fuming at this episode. I resent the Dorit and PK pile on because of their financial issues, as though they are somehow less worthy of being within such an "elite group". Fuck off. I'm not a huge Dorit fan but none of these other bitches invented penicillin. All of them are on this show because they've done some shitty tv work, married someone who did shitty tv work and/or sold something and got lucky. 

Camille was a hooker who married a man in a sitcom. Not exactly a blue blood/Mayflower pedigree. 

Kyle's single mom pimped out her daughters to pay her bills. Kim was the breadwinner and likely the victim of sexual abuse, now she's chemically dependent and destitute, and her sister outs her on tv? Nice. Kathy is a billionaire, meanwhile Kim was caught shoplifting while homeless. Nice family. Salt of the earth.

Kyle's husband made a living off his in-laws then swiped clients and staff to build "The Agency". Talk about grifters...

Teddi's dad John Cougar Mellencamp was a teen dad, alcoholic/drug addict loser who miraculously made a hit record 30+ years ago. Teddi was fat. Her husband installs security systems. 

Denise: C-list actress who married Charlie Sheen. 

Erika: Thirsty waitress who married a lonely old lawyer.

Lisa: Failed model, turned sporadic soap opera actress, turned failed shop owner, now sells polyester clothes on QVC. Her claim to fame is her b-list husband who now spends a lot of time enjoying the US exchange rate in Canada and making pies that his anorexic wife and daughters won't eat. 

They're all grifters as far as I'm concerned.

Don’t duck, Rinna has never bothered me that much, she’s probably the only one out of the bunch I would want to have a drink with. And as someone who never bought Camille’s “redemption” I get that too. 

Didn’t recognize Teddi either. I have to admit that that particular shade of blue looked absolutely stunning on her.

Who was the woman sitting next to Camille? I guess with DeDe out of the picture that Kimber wasn’t available that evening to be Camille’s rent a friend. And yes I find it totally odd that David is never there. That didn’t end well for Yolanda and her David. And I wouldn’t snark if Camille had a personality and a heart, I am one of those people who like a lot of space in relationships. But if I was married to Camille I would probably want my own apartment. 

Oh and @Dutchgirl, word to your mother. Every single one of these women is noveau riche, except for maybe Teddi. Camille talks and acts like she is old money. She is not.

Camille is the next target of the mean girls clique led by Rinna.  The difference is girls, she gives as good as the best of them try & fail to do to her. They, especially Rinna, snapped because Camille went off the script.  Rinna was the one winding them up the day after Camille's wedding.  Why?  Camille dared to hold the snark towards LVP in the People magazine article.  Rinna, Teddi and Dorit have been waiting to strike but were delayed so they could pretend to show Camille compassion after the fires.

Rinna with her, “own it” lines pushing Camille to diss LVP for not coming to the shower/wedding.  Camille was pushed on the subject by Dorit and then they are horrified that she spills the dirt on why she doesn’t trust Dorit?  

Remember, the producers cut the film of the lady chasing Dorit at the pool but all the ladies knew it happened.

It’s true, financially troubles were front and center storylines on RHNJ, before it was in the press, because Jacqueline and Caroline kept calling Teresa out on it.  Orange County, NY, Potomac, Atlanta and Dallas episodes have exposed financially woes of many of these ladies.  This was part of Taylor’s story as well.

Don't come for someone when you know they could outmaneuver you.

Scattered thoughts:

Erika was very mature in accepting Teddi's apology.  And also, Teddi's apology felt sincere.

Kyle's apology did not.  And Erika's acceptance of it felt off, for her.  I guess she really doesn't want to ruffle feathers with someone who she's never had a major issue with before.

Camille losing her house is devastating.  Yes, she's rich.  Yes, she has other properties.  Yes, her consignment store comments were eeeeeek.  But when you lose your "home" and everything in it ... it is still devastating.

Camille's garbage bag comment at Kitsons made me literally LOL on my couch.

The pile-up on Camille at dinner was as shit-show as I expected.

Rinna is the worst.  Teddi is the worst.  Kyle sits there thinking everything, yet saying nothing because she's always scared of repercussions.

While I don't think Camille should have aired all that dirty laundry out on Dorit like that ... I don't blame her for losing her cool, a bit.  

I agree with what some poster write before that: Camille probably gave that interview about LVP weeks before it came-out in People magazine.  It wasn't like she was full-on LVP's side.  And, guess what, she's allowed to feel conflicted about LVP/Puppygate/the other women.  None of this is a black-&-white matter.  Lots of grays (feelings) in there.  

I was not a fan of Season One Camille.  I've kind of loved her ever since as the "friend" who pops in and out and is friendly with all the women {maybe NOT so genuine, however}.  But while I didn't like Season One Camille, and while she's returned to many of those ways this season {Producer-instigated or not) ... I'm LOVING Season One Camille this time around because she IS targeted by all these mean girls and, they deserve every bit of tongue lashing that they're getting from Camille.  I sit on my couch with a giddy grin on every time they're all flummoxed by whatever comes out of Camille's mouth. 

One last thing, so many people keep saying that "Camille is gunning for that diamond".  It has been reported many times over the years that BRAVO wants Camille back full-time, but that she does not want it.  She's been content to be the "friend" for at least 4-5 seasons now.  And last I heard, she still does not want the burden of FULL-TIME status.  I imagine she might change her mind if she were paid significantly more.  But after the season she just had {again, where I'm sure the producers asked her to step it up a bit in the absence of LVP}, I don't know that she'd want to come back, at all.  I certainly hope she does.

Yes - this is exactly what I was thinking!  Teddi does not look comfortable at all in this new, glammed up version.  She looks awkward and unsure of herself, like a high school girl who is trying to fit in with the cool crowd by dressing the same way they do, which is just what Teddi is trying to do.

I started watching RHOBH during S2, so I missed S1 Camille—I saw S1 after several seasons of Brandi and Rinna, whom I view as totally noxious vipers. So—while I don’t think Camille is a saint, I also don’t consider her behavior as any worse than the others. And admittedly, I kind of like the turn she’s taking, at least with these ladies. They all wanted her to bend to their will and pee on LVP because they don’t like her, but calling out Dorit on something that’s very real? Oh, that’s a bridge too far. Camille was definitely not polite, but LET’S TALK ABOUT THE HUSBANDS. I totally think the women were scared spitless that she’d bring up their own financial issues. It’s been easy and convenient to focus on LVP, but now the proverbial cats are coming out of the proverbial bags. 

“You let [LVP] off the hook”—But oh yeah, Rinna, let’s let Dorit off the hook for what she did to the dog... and oh, yeah, that whole matter of bankruptcy and owing significant piles of cash to people.

”That was 10 years ago!”—declaring bankruptcy may help clear up some of the financial issues, but it doesn’t morally absolve you of what you’ve done to others financially, Dorit, 

“This, everybody gets hurt.” OK Kyle, after putting your own sister as well as one of your “closest friends” on blast, on TV... I can tell you’re really concerned about people getting hurt.  

Denise, we wouldn’t have a show if you all just kept eating 🤣 But it was good advice. I loved that the preview for next week ended with her squinchy face.

I hate to use Kim Richards as the voice of reason, but,..I was watching reruns the other day and Kim made a comment to Rinna about how she spent all of her time that season talking about Kim; Rinna never talks about her life, her family, what's going on with her,..nothing. Kim, more or less, accused her of talking about her (Kim) to deflect from having to discuss her own situations. Her reactions to Kim saying something about Let's talk about what really goes on in your home, and what you don't want out about Harry, to me, says a lot. Not to mention, after Kim was gone, she went after Yolanda, and LVP, and appears to be scoping her next victim; Watch your back, Kyle.

She's throwing rocks at glass houses*, hoping everyone will be distracted by the shattered glass, and not go after the rock thrower. So far, she's been very successful.

I know right! Unlike some of the others, she was compassionate towards Camille but then also gently tried to get her to back off. I love this woman! I think she’s the most kindhearted of all of them.
