Suck It Trebek January 16, 2019 Share January 16, 2019 Hear me out... Josiah totally looked liked Emily (Ben’s flame a couple of seasons ago and maybe they’re still together?) in the face...with short brown hair...beginning when he asked Kate if he should bring out Chambord in the gold suit. I know it sounds crazy, but now I can’t unsee it! And also? DAYUM Josiah! 9 Link to comment

PaperTree January 16, 2019 Share January 16, 2019 Rhylee - The Great Professional. Does she bang the crew on her fishing boat? She blabbed before Tyler. lol. Josiah handled that speedo "junk" quite well, considering his insecurities. The editors certainly loved it. That dude whining "I'm starving!" stfu you just had the whole "light lunch" you requested. Patience drama queen. Kate nails it: "These guests are assholes" The A-1 proves it, while complaining the meat wasn't bloody enough. I expected this the way they started hard drinking right away. Billy passed out on the toilet topped it. Then he manages an epic recovery. lol. Why did it take Adrian so long to get dinner on the table once the "guests" finally got their act together? Then of course the non-dairy sugar free dessert Mr. Primary asked for isn't very good.. Imagine that! Laura is still in her bubble of delusion. She didn't "set Kate straight". Kate got off her ass when she finally started doing her job. "Girl talk", Kate lets it go. Not sure what to make of Ashton with Laura. He either doesn't see how nuts she is, or is just playing her to score over ever creepier Adrian. A nipple cake? Really dude? 16 Link to comment

I will fully admit that I'm not in ANY position to comment on the gay community, certain "types" of gays, etc. But he obviously has had some bad experiences and these guys are triggering him. I just hate the way they intentionally singled him out for the outfit. I felt like it was BECAUSE they know he's not comfortable. The entire thing is just gross. Would it be okay for straight men to ask Laura to put on a bikini? These guests are just the worst. So bratty and impossible to please. They ask for light lunches, then demand more food. Then THEY'RE super late for dinner and complain about Adrian's pace. Adrian. He's making me feel sorry for Laura. Those comments are just so inappropriate. And, on the other side, he's basically scolding Ashton for how he's treating Laura. He needs to just stick to food and stay away from people. I find it hilarious that Laura thinks Kate checked herself. No, honey. She just appreciates that you're actually closing your lips and working. I do like the more peaceful vibe, though. Rhylee is also super chill. Five times a night agrees with her. 50 Link to comment

Popular Post njbchlover January 16, 2019 Popular Post Share January 16, 2019 I thought that tonight's episode was very uncomfortable to watch. I was feeling Joshiah's discomfort through my TV!! I know the crew has to stoop to all sorts of low-brow shenanigans for that elusive tip, but this was just beyond. I don't understand why it is okay for a male crew member to wear something extremely revealing and skimpy, but it would not be okay to ask a female crew member to do the same. If these charter guests were straight males and asked a female crew member to wear a thong or skimpy bikini while serving - would that have been okay? I don't think so. There is no difference between that and a group of gay men asking another gay man to wear a too-small speedo that he felt uncomfortable in. I also am very uncomfortable with Adrian. I called it back in either the thread for the first or second episode. There was something there that just gave me creepy vibes, and now, it's really coming to the forefront. He is an amazing chef, it seems....as Captain Lee said last week - he's got mad skills with food. Too bad that just doesn't carry over into other parts of his life. His constant comments to Laura are just uncalled for and completely inappropriate. Glad to see Rhylee finally have a smile on her face - who knew that banging someone (FIVE TIMES!!!!!) is all that it takes! Not crazy about all the fuzzy scenes in Rhylee and Tyler's room - I don't need to see people having sex or nearly having sex. It was bad enough to hear it on Below Deck Med with Hannah and her boy-toy (what was his name??). I know this all sounds like I'm a prude, but I'm far from it - if I want to watch soft porn, I know what channels to watch to find it, and Bravo shouldn't be the channel to find it. Oh, and yeah, Laura - you really put Kate in her place - keep on thinking that, girl!! Maybe it's more that YOU finally started doing your job correctly AFTER Captain Lee gave you a warning that Kate is finally accepting you. In Kate's eyes, it's simple - do your job well, do what you're expected to do as third stew, and do it without bitching or complaining, and there is no problem. Don't come in all hot and know-it-all and then, don't prove you're all that, in fact, you do the opposite - then you and Kate will have a problem. Not that hard to figure out! One more thing - these guests are really one of the worst charters we've seen, imo. Entitled, drunken assholes. Almost as bad as Foam party Steve. I wonder if Ross is going to get in trouble next week for the runaway jetski - obviously, the entitled asshole driving it did not follow directions about connecting the kill switch. Ross should get in trouble - after the other issues with dangerous things happening this season - he should have made sure before they left the area around the ship that the kill switch was engaged and attached to the life jacket correctly--especially seeing how much of an asshole these guests are. At least these guests didn't give Ross a hard time about wearing life jackets. 40 Link to comment

These guests were assholes and the speedo request was not ok. I'm wondering if these were the same assholes that the only way Kate could distract them from constantly complaining about paying so much for a yacht and not even being on the water was to serve sushi on Bruno's body. I don't like Laura or Rhylee, but I'm glad they realized what a creepster Adrian is. Here's a tip to Adrian if you have to spend all of your time putting down your romantic rival instead of wooing the girl, then you have negative game. Also your "flirty double entendres" rival Samantha Jones' in their complete obviousness and impropriety. Sam's were so bad and witless that I just used to call them "single entendres." He can cook amazing food, but needs to keep the creepy inappropriate sexual innuendos to himself. . Real men do not make women uncomfortable by making comments like that. Joan van Snark January 16, 2019 Share January 16, 2019 About the food thing.....I kind of agree with the guests a little bit (although they could have been less rude about it). If I am on a once in a lifetime vacation, paying tens of thousands for a two day excursion, I want to EAT! This lunch at 2, dinner at 8 or 9 thing they seem to do on this show....I would be pretty darn hungry too! Especially with all the alcohol they seem to consume on these trips, I would want some nibbles. Doesn't seem like there are ever any hors d'ouevres or snacks available. These guys all looked to be into body building as well. Muscles burn a lot of calories! To me, being the chef would be the worst job on the boat. I know how time consuming cooking for one person can be....can't imagine being responsible for feeding the guests, the captain, and the crew every meal for weeks on end. I'm really surprised there aren't two chefs, or at least a 'sous-chef' or assistant. How can one person cook that much food? 13 Link to comment

I didn't catch if Rhylee said she had orgasms all five times or just that they had sex five times. These two things can be very different. :P I also don't think she _needs_ to have them; I read that scene as that she was both surprised and impressed that Tyler stayed hard throughout, and she was still up for it (so to speak) and things still felt good, so why not keep going. That's as far as my armchair assessment goes. That was so cool of Josiah to volunteer the Speedo + Sweet Drinks idea to save the evening--that shouldn't even have needed saving, my god, those guests. I hope it really did work some wonders for his self-esteem. I know a lot of people are used to being in a society where sexual harassment and being mean is just part of the culture. But just because your friends expect it as the norm, doesn't mean it's right. I admit her attitude, tone, as well as the substance of her little speech were totally inappropriate for an employee/supervisor dialogue.......especially one so new on the job. That said, I'll repeat myself just to make a point......Laura did NOT scream at Kate. As it turned out, Laura is quite capable of doing her job, Kate does know how to smile and the tension seemed to disappear. Surprise! Surprise! Thank you production! It's too bad production previously encouraged Laura and Kate to go at it (I truly believe they did). It's so unnecessary. ETA: I also saw comments about Andy Cohen. What does he have to do with Below Deck? Edited January 16, 2019 by AnnA 3 Link to comment
