I’m still debating whether I’ll watch again. I haven’t actually tuned in at 11am like I used to since the show where Joy told us to watch The Talk instead. I think I’ll look at what’s said here before I make a decision. 🤣

I have a feeling nothing will be different though.

She was making a joke about watching The Talk, which Meghan needs to be given. Joy can watch them talking to Meg about her behavior.

Megan has literally thrown herself on her father's grave, had someone take a picture of this and posted the picture on line.  All righty then, I guess she has won the who is grieving daddy the most contest in the Mccain family.  I know people visit the graves of their loved ones but to post it on Instagram as a way to gain publicity is beyond sick.  Meghan is so disrespectful of her family (who are also grieving) and of her father's memory.  I have a feeling Jack Daniels may have factored into this visit to her father's grave.

Meghan is participating in grief porn. it's not healthy and it makes her look ridiculous.  She is entitled to grieve for her father.  But this display is so far beyond that.  At some point in the past year (or maybe from the day he died) her mourning stopped being about her dad and became about Meghan.  She has no self identity outside of being John McCain's daughter so since his death she has become John McCain's grieving daughter.  His other children have managed to form their own identities and have lives that don't revolve around being his child.

Taking a break from social media Meghan? Oh, break's over.

Yes, I noticed she blocked her mothers name, but maybe because cindy is still living?

But overall, the photo SCREAMS, "look at me! I'm GRIEVING!" So my question is, who took that photo? And, How many photos were taken before choosing the best one that showed her, and the headstone and displays? Did she spend time arranging everything perfectly, to make sure the flags and the cacti were shown to their best advantage?

Her father is buried at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.  I'm curious as to when she posed for this grief stricken daughter picture.  It is beyond morbid to pose for a picture kneeling at the gravestone of your parent. I could understand her posting a photo of the gravestone without inserting herself into it, but, once again, she never fails to make everything all about her.  My guess is  it was taken awhile ago and held in abeyance to post when she figured she'd get the most attention.

If it was taken this week, she sure as hell didn't spend much time in AZ.  All very strange for someone who supposedly loves her home state so much.

Yes, absolutely staged. Right down to the baby cacti. (GMAB) I assume her ride or die took the photo(s). I will say she could have at least combed/washed/fixed her hair so there was a decent head shot.

^ No joke. It's all about her. She couldn't go back to AZ because it would be too hard on her. Nevermind that her mother may have needed the support; she's the one living in their home surrounded by his things and memories. I can only hope that Cindy's other children were there for her to lean on.

Isn't Meghan's grandmother still alive?  She's 105 or something.  Meghan never mentions how hard it must have been for her to lose her child.

Bulletin ~ Bulletin ~ Bulletin ... Meghan is an aunt again, 8/28/19.  The article in The Arizona Republic referenced an Instagram message.  (Not hers)

Tonight, Bill Maher said to one of his guests, (after said guest claimed to not know about something before he was born), "You weren't alive during the Civil War and you know about that."  Remind you of anyone?  😂😄🤣

Omg I totally thought that. Lol

Lmao. She clearly hasn’t read what people are saying about her. They are tearing her to shreds - what we’re saying is probably on the friendly side compared to the comments on Twitter. All publicity is good publicity though, right? 😑🙄

No one can really say when one can be a member of the NRA. It is a secret evidently so I guess MM could be a lifetime member.

I think anyone can be a "Lifetime Member."  Isn't it just a matter of which membership you're willing to pay for?

Right now Lifetime Memberships cost $1,500 and they accept payments.  If you pay all at once, however, you can get this "brushed leather" NRA jacket (not available on the payment plan.

You know she produced the hell out of that photo op.  What shirt would look best with my hair this way while I sprawl across this grave?  Who actually is the real Meghan?  She seems like she has carefully cultivated this Conservative Gun Toting Millennial Barbie (I know I just called her Scowling Barbie, Mattel, do NOT get any ideas) identity and I am just not sure it is authentic.  I have a strong feeling that the bitchy part of her identity is real.   I also agree that she is most likely not close to Mother McCain.

I don't think Meghan is smart enough to pull it off on her own.  She has her husband and has hired a really good PR team.  I think they have been choreographing Meghan's every move.  Her husband is really riding her John Mccain's daughter coattails.  I would bet good money that he is the author of most of her little blue cards.  I believe/hope the team can only do so much before Meghan implodes.  Meghan is too emotional, entitled, uneducated and nasty to carry out their "game plan" for the five hours a week that she is on live tv.

It's VERY OBVIOUS here in the Phoenix area.  Much more coverage than when John McCain was alive (except when he was running for President).  Although... our paper has turned into a "social media" outlet.

OK, those guys are better than I am at understanding Me-Gun's words when she talks over people.  SHe  sarcastically says she loves being "virtue signaled" .  I had to look that phrase up.  basically she thinks the others are being fake, expressing self-righteous  moral indignation about kids dying, in order to demonstrate their own good character.

Virtue signaling

Now that I know that's what she said, I am even more outraged .

Thanks for that link to what Virtue Signaling is, Tinkerbell.  Very interesting, and agree how dare she act like the others are being fake about their gun outrage.

I think that the show will keep her on for almost any of her offenses since she "makes sparks" and brings them publicity.  The only thing that could possibly get her ousted is if she keeps making comments like "there will be violence" if guns are taken away and people think she's using her platform to incite violence...then maybe they'll get rid of her?

Does she have her AK-15 strapped to her leg as she is sitting in a restaurant or is there one even there while on the View?

  • She can't handle the truth!  (Oops...semi-quoting "A Few Good Men")
  • She couldn't handle an AK-15 and I doubt if she has one.
  • It's possible she "owns" some and has an arsenal somewhere.
  • I don't know about NYC, but if she has a permit* she can carry a concealed gun in Arizona any way she wants to conceal it.  She probably thinks she don't need no steenkin' permit because she's John McCain's daughter!  Also, we can "open carry" anywhere around here (not without some consequences, of course).

*I don't know NYC's laws.

It's an interesting concept, isn't it?  I was trying to figure out if I do it, and I guess I do, but I'm sincere.  Like if I say that I boycott Jimmy Johns, and give the reasons, I'm guilty of virtue signaling.  Or am I just opposed to big game hunting?  And by posting this, did I do it again?  😁

Virtue signaling is a bullshit phrase used to denigrate people who care about things.

Oh, I agree.  I had never heard of it before, and I was intrigued.  It does seem like a phrase conservatives might use, much like "fake news"  and "politically correct"  to dismiss real concerns.

I didn't mean to sound snippy, lol. There are certain phrases that seem to originate at Fox that send me into stab land-for example- "nothingburger".    Whenever Meghan brags (God why?) that her husband "slid into her DMs", I get a bit queasy from the thought of the protoplasmy stickiness that must have resulted in her Twitter account.    I hated reading that article where Joy said Meghan was so hip with her phrases. No, she is hippy and her mouth is where trendy new phrases go to die.
