You buy a round thingy with glass on it, then fill it with little charms (all sold separately, natch). They're cute, in a way, but super pricy, and they're not even sterling silver. I see a lot of ones people bought for themselves up for sale on FB Marketplace, and that's they only way I'd see me getting one, is if I could get it for really cheap, then put my own charms in it (from some knockoff place, lol). They did the presentation, we weren't sold but I felt bad and bought a bathing suit. I still remember it was $32 (and this was in the early 90s). I saw the same bathing suit at a Walmart style store for less than half the price. Same exact one..... I believe he did enter the marriage with honest intentions. She was trying to shove fatherhood down his throat instead of letting things slowly progress. You have her kids telling him that he's not their father and the oldest doesn't want you there because that will take time from her. doyouevengohere July 30, 2018 Share July 30, 2018 I think he wanted an easy life or an easier life. I'm sure he used the line, "you will be my wife" on many a dumb drunk girl at the resort. Molly has a successful business, had money to keep coming to visit him in the DR, has a nice house, had money to bring him over. And I think he thought Molly would parent her children and he could just be the fun stepdad. If he had to "be in love" with her; he would be. Then he got here and found out Molly put the fun in dysfunctional. She felt he owed her and thought he would be down to immediately becoming everything she emotionally needed as a parent and as a wife. I do think Molly was his mark, and he would have been content to be her love slave IF she had kept him in the fun husband and dad role. Obviously that didn't happen and he got fed up and no longer wanted to follow through with his plan. 17 Link to comment

Luis could not have been that naive as to what a marriage entails. There are marriages in the DR, no? He looked like he has extended family there and in the US— cousins with young children, etc. Did he really expect Molly to work full-time and come home to cook and clean while he did nothing? Wait, no— he was listening to music, looking at porn, and playing video games. I do not think he should have been in charge of Kensley (?), but he could have shown more interest in some family activities. He also should have pitched in with household duties, imo. I saw a young man from another country that met a woman in his country, came over to this country and married this woman with a teenager and a young one who didn't want him there and rudely let him know he wasn't welcome ( you're not my dad the young one said). Meanwhile the woman keep shoveling fatherhood down his throat when they already have a father. I felt sorry for him in how they treated him, not saying he was prefect.
