Is that real??? I think I have seen ads for Axe before, but nothing klikje this. If real, it is over the top!

Yes, it was real (no one is going to afford Jaime Pressly for a fake ad) in that it was indeed produced and released by Axe (about ten years ago now, I'd guess), but I don't remember if it was just an internet sensation or if a shorter version also aired on TV.

Maybe it's my tv (and my best friend's and mother's tvs), but there is definitely a difference in the volume.

Then I guess I'll be complaining.  Thanks for the info regarding where.  I'm going to start writing this stuff down, because there is a noticeable difference.

I don't care why Verizon fired him.  I just want him off my tv, so a pox on Sprint for hiring him.

Yeah, surely there's no shortage of UNannoying homosexual performers  Sprint could have hired instead of Paul (or whatever his actual given full name is).

Is anybody else sick to fucking death of these almost continuous Medicare ads? They're on every channel, not just the old people channels. I keep running through the channels, trying to escape them but they're every where!

I will happily trade you all your Medicare ads for all my state representative ads.

My mom was just ranting about that ad last night. She was like, "So we have this stuff for drivers to pay attention to what's behind them, but the guy on his phone doesn't have to look where he's going or anything?"

Oh God, don't remind me we are heading into another national election cycle! Between the robo calls and the endless ads on TV I feel like going into hibernation until it is all over...only to come out to vote. Gaah!

Apparently robo should be robot!

If it makes you feel any better, it's not actually a park, but a rest area, so the Barkleys aren't likely to be there very long.  Agreed, though, that pets should generally not be left in cars. That said, I've left my dog in the car while I've pumped gas -- in the days before debit cards, when I had to go inside the convenience store to pay.

My worst are all the 'cute' people letting their dogs ride with their heads out the car window. When you do that you pull your head back inside BUT dogs zone out on all the scents and will do it until their eyes are sandblasted and even their ears can cost you a vet bill. Not cute.

Nugenix - something to make your penis bigger.  Who thought it was a good idea to name a product to rhyme with eugenics?

Really guys...exactly how big do you want your penis to be? And why?  I'm being 100% serious.

I don't have a penis so I'm very curious about this. Thanks in advance!

I think some of them are under the mistaken impression that ALL women like oversize dicks.  Like, painfully large.  Um, NO.  Some of us ladies don't like that at all, and will refuse advances if it is a behemoth.

Thank you Bratinella. Unless and until, you've had a behemoth, varying sizes will NEVER matter again. Just don't give me a behemoth! The behemoths are a one time novelty. You see it, you try it and then you run like hell and never go back!😄

But still curious why men are so obsessed with the size of the penis. It's a billion dollar industry so there must be a reason?

Hey guys...unless you have a micro penis... we're good. So relax. It's no big(or little) deal.

I thought it was supposed to be some sort of testosterone booster.  At any rate, it’s strange to me to see Frank Thomas shilling a “supplement” which would most likely get him suspended if he were still playing.

Penis sizes vary just as much if not more than women's cup sizes.

Indeed.  Laura Dodsworth did the terrific "Me and My Breasts" photo essay, then followed that up with "Me and My Penis" and finally "Me and My Vulva".  In each, 100 people talk about and have photographed their relevant body part, and the collection hints at (with the subjects being self selecting, there's still a limit to the diversity) the extensive variety not shown in traditional media or even porn.

From what I have read, it has to do with sex drive.

There is no dietary supplement that I am aware of that will increase penis size.

I hate the NyQuil commercial where a woman is sleeping (and obviously sick) in one room and a bunch of people are watching and cheering on a sports game in the other room... how rude do you have to be? If your roommate/significant other/spouse is sick you don’t host a fucking party no matter how well the medicine they’re taking works!

Breast size (or lack of) in women is much more noticeable than penis size in men (if you're wearing clothes.) But I get your point.

I haven't seen that one yet. Commercials that lean towards the mindset that we, the consumers, are f'n morons really make me angry. I won't buy NyQuil.

It's ridiculous that they didn't just go to someone else's house instead.  There are only basic snacks on the table - those assholes were probably going to rely on her to make something for them - so even if she got sick at the last minute, it would have been easy to switch locations and let her have some peace and quiet.

There is a United Healthcare ad at a beach wedding where the guests throw birdseed instead of rice, and everyone there gets attacked by seagulls. It doesn't so much annoy me, as it makes me think, "What the hell did you expect?" whenever I see it.

Wow. Birds like birdseed. Who would've thought?🤔

No, but I also hate the fact that the mother doesn't even look behind her before backing out.  I mean, the back-up camera is great, but I'd never trust it that completely.

I don't want to see people in commercials who don't have it.  I find it insulting.

If people who have depression want to be in a commercial I don't see the harm.  No one is forcing them.

I hate commercials with real people instead of actors.  At best, they're not particularly well-acted.  At worst, I find them terribly manipulative.  But that's just my opinion.  Others are free to disagree.

It's been my experience that seagulls like French fries, not birdseed.  But then, I've never seen them anywhere except parking lots and beaches full of people feeding them stuff.

Once, a friend and I got some food at a fast food place and took it to a nearby beach to eat. Then the seagulls came. I pelted them with french fried as we ran to the car.

They are BIG. I didn't realize how big until I started feeding the blue jays and the gulls would swoop in to try to strong arm them out of their peanuts. They're huge.

Oh gawd. I had hoped that commercial with Jillian Michaels for Soda Stream  was in the advertising graveyard, but nooooooo.

That's too bad. What an unfortunate choice for a spokesperson. I bought one several months ago and I love it. Great product.

That one has been around for a while now (I didn't realize it was back in rotation), and I don't mind it; I think the teasing nature of their relationship is well played by the actors - Dad always fishes for info on the guys she's dating even in the early stages, Daughter always shuts him down until/unless it means something, and neither gets annoyed with the other because natures and intentions are good on both sides.

Yeah, I like that one too. They're joking back and forth in the first half of the commercial, then he gets a little choked up when she asks him how she looks - then the teasing tone comes right back with 'what's his name'/'daaaad'...it's never come across as rude to me. Just family.

Those Fab, Fit, Fun commercials with the 4th tier/celebrities and "influencers" (gag!) are horrendous.  You just know whatever they charge monthly for those boxes of expired makeup and discontinued/recalled beauty tools is 90% profit for the company.  Most annoying are the ones with that horrible Kim Zolciak Biermann, who has been surgically altered beyond all recognition, and her daughter, who has been surgically altered to look just like her mother who's 30 years older.  Why, God, WHY?!

Does anyone really believe nobody told William Shatner he had to keep his C-PAP machine clean when he was told he had to start using 1? I believe he has to use 1; sleep apnea’s not just a “kids” thing. I just don’t believe he didn’t know he had to keep his C-PAP clean—& how to do it—until the So Clean device came along, like he says in the commercial.

They tell you when you get it. I've yet to come across anyone who hasn't been told when they get one that it has to be regularly cleaned (you hand wash the tank that holds the water, the hose, and the mask).  The issue is that it's a pain to clean it.  And so people generally just don't.  Most of the danger comes from using tap water in it.  If you use distilled - which you're also told to use - and empty it every night (a lot of people don't), it's not something worthy of a freak-out, like the people on the TV.  My dad bought a SoClean because he had leftover money to spend out of his account.  He said it's a bit of a pain to use.  The only upside is you don't have to dismantle the machine and clean it all separately.  If you change masks, then you may have to contact SoClean and get a new adapter.  He said he wouldn't have paid out of pocket for it.  They're over $300.

I still can’t get over the irony of “quitting one’s soda addiction” by using a product with “soda” as part of its name.
