Popular Post toodywoody November 28, 2022 Popular Post Share November 28, 2022 Him and his dumbass visor. Like he just got through golfing. So which is it Kidney? You weren't attracted to her and never loved her or that you loved her. No wonder she's left his dumbass. And how is it fair to everyone that they put in money for Robyn's house. Her money from her LV house should have went to it, just as Meri's money from her LV house should have went to Meri's house and so on and so forth. How is all that money even fair to spend on one wives house and only 5 kids? 3 of which need to be gone and out getting a husband and getting a job. And Kidney wonders why his other wives and kids think he plays favorites. Like this dude is the definition of a complete dumbass. And if the others put in money for her house, why have they had to refinance it, is it twice already? I know for taxes, but they should have used the money to pay the taxes and not CP. I'm glad the wives have stopped drinking the Kool-aid and woken up to his bs and favortism. 8 20 Link to comment

I don’t think people are being mean, but rather in disbelief that she would stay with someone who is telling the world on national TV that he doesn’t want her. She said, "I have my own value", but the fact that she is staying around hoping for Kody to acknowledge her, says something else about her value. She doesn't want people judging her on her decision to stay, but it's okay for her to judge Christine on her decision to leave. Hypocrite! You didn't care to have any kind of relationship now that she was no longer playing brood mare for you and nanny to any kid a sister wife wanted to drop off at her house, but you're heartbroken she's leaving your dumb azz. Your kidneys burn in the back end of you for loving Christine. You want to buy Christine's house. You never want to look at it again. Go sell one of your priceless de-barked logs and buy it yourself since Janelle won't fork over the cash and will do whatever the hell she wants anyway. Wait! No! Here's the answer!!!!! If a woman doesn't show you your manly-man respect, just punish her by doing some more of absolutely nothing. That will fix her red wagon. Works every time. 🤣 Ya know, if you let Sobyns nanny go you could save even more money!! We all know nanny's ain't cheap. Especially ones who toe the line and obey ALLLLL your Covid protoculls. Oh wait... but she got Covid. Hmmm. I bet you and the sobster wondered how that happened what with her and her family being so careful and all. She still workin' for you? Disinfecting the mail? Wiping off the Post Toasties? Drawing Sobyn her bath? Then, next week we get to see Sobyn on her death bed with it. I wonder whose fault that will be. 🙄 Meri, you silly cow. (No offense to cows) People are mean because they quite simply can't believe how stupid you are. Seriously. Janelle. For Pete's sake!!! Run. Pack up that camper and move to Utah. Hook up to a campground with the facilities you need and park there until you get stronger and in better financial shape. You'll have a sweet future without that dweeb of a husband and sister wives who don't even like you. All they're good for is gaslighting you every time you turn around. I'd bet money these people pull the wings off of flies. 1 minute ago, Claire Voyant said: Edited November 28, 2022 by Claire Voyant 8 1 17 12 Link to comment

Popular Post the-grey-lady November 28, 2022 Popular Post Share November 28, 2022 (edited) I normally watch this show the day after, but I couldn't resist a same-day viewing. My review is, as usual, really long. But in my defense, Kody was especially infuriating this episode. I keep saying he couldn't possibly get worse, and then being proven wrong when he does something particularly nauseating and enraging. I won't make that mistake again, I promise. Spoiler Previously on “Sister” “Wives”: Christine stuck a knife in Kody’s kidney. She spared one of them, and I admire her restraint. And yet poor one-kidney Kody blathered on despite his emotional and abdominal pain. I swear he was auditioning for a dinner theatre production of "Our Town." Mykelti manipulated Christine into throwing a goodbye party she didn’t want, Kody and his perpetually frowny (and only) wife showed up just to make a scene, and King Douchebag promptly whined about the rain, and threatened to leave. “Then GTFO.” – me and everyone else watching. Ari is still using a pacifier. I bet her freaking kindergarten teachers love that. Christine was calm and patient, probably luxuriating in the realization she won’t have to deal with him for much longer. I wish I could say the same. I like that the show is now sparing us the opening credit lectures on how polygamy makes “each of them better.” If this is what “better” looks like, I’d hate to see the “wives” as monogamists. Kody acknowledges that Christine’s goodbye party was awkward. At no point does he seem to realize that he is the reason it was awkward. Not once does he suggest that his own petulant tantrum ruined the entire affair. Robyn summons some crocodile tears and pretends she’s sorry Christine, with whom she’s never been friends, is no longer going to be in her life. She sees Christine a few times a year, so I’m not sure what she’s pretending to cry about. She makes some stupid comment about collateral damage that’ll last for generations. A reminder: Christine is moving to Utah. She isn’t going off to war. Janelle’s tears about Christine’s move are real. These two have exactly the sister wife relationship Kody has always insisted he wanted for his wives. Meri notes that people keep asking why she hasn’t left Kody. No answer is offered. Kody whines again about Christine having betrayed him. Kody, who has said multiple times that he never loved Christine, wants to tell her he loved her and that she’s broken his heart. To whit: according to Kody, Christine has been mean and unwelcoming and uncooperative. She’s treated Robyn like dirt. She hasn’t cared about the family. Kody is also, for reasons unknown, crushed that Christine is leaving. Christine’s new house is way cute, Truely is positively bouncy, and baby Avalon is so stinking adorable. Christine is thrilled to have a bedroom just for herself, i.e. one that is not, at any moment, at risk of being invaded by a whining, bloviating jackass. Savanah is mature and well-spoken. Once again, another of Kody’s children has benefited from his neglect. They are truly better off without that jack-off’s “parenting.” Kody, in his continuing crusade to ignore anyone else’s wants and concerns, tries to convince Janelle to buy Christine’s house instead of renting a house, even though that would mean Janelle would have to wait another two years to build on Coyote Pass. The down payment money she’d have to put down on Christine’s house (the one Janelle does not want) would no longer be available to pay off Coyote Pass. In summation, Janelle all but admits that the fambly is shit with money. Meri gave her Las Vegas profit to Robyn. Gee, I wonder where she got that idea. Robyn lies about how the fambly all works together to do all kinds of shit we know they don’t do: raising the kids, paying bills, etc. Kody swears he’s got an emotional attachment to Christine’s house—the house in which Kody never lived. He should try having an emotional attachment to the 13 kids he had before Robyn came on the scene. Kody: I’ve been pushing Christine’s house on Janelle for years, but she doesn’t want it. Me: Then stop. Kody moans about how Janelle won’t work with him on the house nonsense, which, in Kody parlance, means she won’t lay down and let him walk all over her. Janelle continues to be a good friend to Christine, and Truely visits the RV. Janelle notes that Truely is a great kid, which means she knows the kid better than her own father does. The man himself is probably off someplace sulking. The TLC editors spare us the tableau. Kody: It’s been hard living in this RV with Janelle. Me: You haven’t been living there! Kody’s current least favorite wife is Janelle. You’re up next, Meri. Remember when Meri insisted on having a seven-bedroom house (or something like that) for the six phantom kids she never had? Well, Janelle is eminently more reasonable, and she’s building a two-bedroom casita for her and Savanah (you know, one bedroom each for the two people who’re going to be living there). Janelle notes that Kody always feels inconvenienced and blames people for his problems whenever things don’t go his way. You’re almost there, Janelle. Just one more step… Kody accuses Janelle of being delusional about reality. Y’all, I can’t. I think I briefly lost consciousness. Then he whines about how he feels isolated, since he’s the only who’s got “small” children at home. I wonder if anyone’s told him he chose to keep having kids after his oldest kids started moving out. If not, I’ll tell him. I’ll pull out my choicest expletives, too. Kody wants Meri to feel like she can build on the property, too. He doesn’t like Meri, he doesn’t see Meri, and he doesn’t consider himself married to Meri, but he wants to make sure she’s comfortable. Sure, Jan. He wants to make sure her money is comfortable. In his pocket. Kody: I feel like Janelle struggles to respect me. That might be an untrue statement. Me: It is. You consider anything less than absolute obedience to be disrespect. Please fuck off. I’ve been waiting 45 minutes for this snowblower confrontation, and it did not disappoint. Well, anything involving Kody’s bitching disappoints, but you know what I mean. Kody shows up to help Christine load the last of her stuff. You just know he hoofed it over there to make her feel like shit one last time. Probably the fifth time he's ever been there, max. But she’s not having it. She lets him monologue about how best to pack a trailer, and she tells the camera she wants him to stick the snowblower in there and get the hell out of her garage. Kody is anti-snowblower, probably because Christine likes having one. Christine is sick of his micro-managing. Me, too. He simply cannot resist one last opportunity to lecture her. He sneers about Christine as an independent woman. Her having a will of her own bothers him “to the core.” Kody huffs and puffs and grunts and makes a big fucking production out of “helping” her. I swear, this jackass has been talking to incels online, hence his endless droning about people not respecting him despite his years of neglect. Kody insists on a hug from Truely, who regards him as a virtual stranger, which is probably pretty close to the truth. Seriously, he interacts with her like she’s a distant cousin at a fambly reunion. She does not want him to touch her. That's a common feeling amongst people who know he exists. Kody laments not having told Christine he didn’t like her, but he brags about how he refused to quit the marriage. He seems to think spending the rest of his life making it clear to Christine he doesn’t love her is some kind of serve. He expects Christine to respect even though she's left him. Gee, that asshole is sure showing Christine what she's going to be missing. Next week: Now Kody is going to lecture us about how his marriage with Janelle isn’t working. (What he means is that Janelle refuses to kowtow to his ever-changing whims.) He’s going to compare her to Robyn, who adores him. He's so transparent. He wants to be worshipped, and when he isn't given the adulation due him, he throws a fit. I hope Janelle clocks him with something heavy. Maybe Christine can lend her the all-important snowblower. I bet that thing weighs a ton. Edited November 28, 2022 by the-grey-lady 4 3 1 20 1 19 Link to comment
maggiegil November 28, 2022 Share November 28, 2022 I usually love Janelle but she is being so dumb about this house thing. Get the downpayment for Christine's house from the family money and do exactly what she did and leave and sell the house. She keeps talking about wanting an asset as something to leave to her children but the cassita on CP will be worthless if Kody builds nearby, who on earth would want him as a neighbour? Much better to get some money and then build the house of your dreams in a few years without Kody's input. Kody wants repect but is being a petty whiney child. If you want Janelle to respect you, say what you mean to her face don't be like I'm not going to go out of my way to help her behind her back. Meri really seems to think that by being complacent that Kody will take her back. Not going to happen, she seems to have decided to stick it out, more fool her. 2 4 8 Link to comment

If they leave they may have nothing. But Janelle and Meri agreed to this. When Janelle sold her Las Vegas home, she could have kept 100% of the profit, just like Christine just did. She handed over 50% to Kody and Robyn voluntarily to buy a house for Robyn, with no concrete plan for the future and only Kody's word on what would occur. Meri divorced Kody with no settlement or alimony. She let him off the hook without getting anything for herself. I don't have a lot of sympathy for these women. They had options. zamp33 November 28, 2022 Share November 28, 2022 (edited) Random thoughts from the episode. According to Robyn Christine's leaving has caused collateral damage that will last generations to come - any idea what that damage is and how it will impact successive generations? It makes no sense that Kody is still insisting on subdividing into 5 lots - isn't that is what is holding up paying it off or construction?? As another poster pointed out, Janelle made sure the location she picked would be in her designated lot whether it was 4 or 5, and Kody shrugged it off. Kody is settled in the Mansion on the hill and has no intention to build, as he keeps shooting down any suggestion by Janelle. And his insistence on 5 is probably for Robyn's children - then they can remain in the mansion and the kids will be close by - a Brown compound. Oh and the fact that Robyn did not just buy the Mansion with money from Janelle AND Meri - but she also bought 2 lots next to the mansion - Janelle has nothing and Robyn has a mansion with 2 spare lots. Janelle seems to have stopped holding back and is slowly realizing that Kody does not care about her. I so hope she got a lawyer and figured out stuff. She is not a legal wife but she has given so much money to the family over the years. She should do her own taxes and make Kody and Robyn figure out their mess. Is this after her 2 younger children have returned to in-person school? I seem to remember a scene last season where Cody, Robyn, and the kids were being tested at a drive-up testing site. They are both waiting for the other two to leave. It looks like Janelle is finally starting to see it( a tiny bit). Kody, Sobbyn and her kids all know they don't want the other wives there anymore. They are horrible actors. Everything Kody says is complete bullshit. His actions speak louder than words. He hasn't attempted to lift one finger to make room for Truely at his house. He says there's no room!! But in a small trailer with two bedrooms there was room for an 11 yr old girl that is Truely. They are counting down the days until Janelle picks up and leaves just like Christine did but they don't want to look like the selfish assholes they really are so they are putting on this dramatic performance ( that's fooling nobody) and pretending like they're so devastated and hurt. Anyone with a brain can see right through them. Now hearing that Meri gave all the money from her house to Sobbyn, no wonder Sobbyn wants to keep her around. Kody even admitted that's why too, 4so they can take more of her money to pay off CP for them only. I also saw on Reddit and YouTube someone posted a video of Sobbyn kicking one of Meri's dogs when it came walking in the room. So now there's another reason to fall in love with Sobbyn. She abuses animals. Just when people think those two can't get any worse they surprise us more and more. It makes sense now that I think about it that Kody and Sobbyn plan on giving the other plots of land to Sobbyn's adult children. Janelle said they did have money at first for her to have her own place but the money went to other things. She should've just said it went to Sobbyn's mansion and everything else in it and around it. It amazes me that she has stayed this long seeing the difference in treatment between her and Sobbyn. What is she holding on for?? She can have her own life and own house without living there in this fake "marriage ". In the book they wrote, Kody said he has always thought of her as one of the guys and not in a romantic way. She is the one that asked if she can join their family. They haven't been "intimate" probably since Savannah was born and he solely lives with Sobbyn. What is the reason that's keeping her there? I don't understand it at all. I don't know who he thinks he's fooling saying they have been living in the trailer, he hasn't spent one night in the trailer. He even said it multiple times that he's not sleeping in it and has no desire too. Does he forget that we see what he says and does every Sunday night? He changes his stories so fast he's all screwed up in the head. It's annoying how Sobbyn sits there talking like she's been there from day one helping out her fellow sister wives with family money saying "we have always put our money together as a family". It's like bitch you put all your bills down on the table to be paid by the other wives and left the room!! She didn't help pay for shit. She brought all of her debt to the family money to get paid. She thinks everyone is so stupid and blind that we can't remember watching everything since she blessed this family with her existence. 4 1 11 8 Link to comment
Popular Post CSunshine76 November 28, 2022 Popular Post Share November 28, 2022 Kody was infuriating last night. I LOATHE this man. He never liked Christine? If I were one of Christine’s kids and saw that, I’d be done with that man, for good. How dare you say that on national TV about the mother of 6(?) children. What an ass. 1 1 21 5 Link to comment

I can't even fathom how complicated it is. I have no idea what Robyn meant, and I doubt she does either. She just said it to be dramatic. She may think watching the family break up will discourage her children and their descendants from the polygamous life. Doing laundry today I thought of Robyn and Janelle as I sorted lint givers from lint receivers, although in their case it is money givers from receivers. Janelle gave her inheritance for the down payment on the Lehi house, she cashed in her retirement account to help fund the rental houses in LV, and then she gave half of the proceeds from her LV house to Robyn. It sounds like Meri gave all of her proceeds to Robyn. I hope Janelle has realized how much if a sucker she has been and how she only has an RV to show for it. I hope she and Christine can write another book and spill the dirt on life with Robyn. I cannot imagine they could carry a season by themselves, but a 2 hour update would be nice. I think Mykelti is itching to be back on tv 2 10 Link to comment

Anyone else hoping Kody would fall, get a hernia or at least hit his head as he petulantly yanked that snowblower on to the truck? Oh, he was PISSED! Not only did Christine instantly shut down Kody's attempt to manipulate her into giving him the snowblower (which according to him she obviously didn't need because they never had a snow blower when they lived in Utah), that sucker was going on the truck FIRST because Christine said so ... and he had to submit to her will on camera, too! He was red hot! lolol Then he had to struggle with getting it into the truck. Ha! I'm surprised he didn't point out that Christine didn't need the blower because she has Truely there to shovel snow. The prick. 2 hours ago, MamaGee said: Actually, there is a whole book on this called "Love and Respect," all about how women want love and men need respect. Meow Mix November 28, 2022 Share November 28, 2022 Several things: Savanah (or however you spell it) is so over Kody. He better watch out or he will get another knife to the kidneys. Can I also say that it was so gross that he insisted on getting into arguments with both Christine and Janelle in front of their children? Robyn was once again her usual self. She had to point out how they gave Christine the money for her down payment, but conveniently forgets that Janelle and Meri both gave her the proceeds from their Vegas houses so that her snowflake children wouldn't have to share bedrooms. And her hyper dramatic comment about successive generations shows she and Kody are made for each other. I noticed when they replayed the scene of Kody screaming at Christine yet again that she was doing that thing where she throws her head back pretending to cry. Give it up honey, no one is buying it. I want to know what the other things are that Janelle referred to when she said that they had had the money to pay off the land in the past. I'll bet they had something to do with Robyn's endless needs. I wanted to tell Janelle that of course Kody thinks you will eventually give in because you have so many times before. She handed over her inheritance, her 401k and the proceeds to her house. She also caved and moved to Flagstaff even though Gabe missed out on things he had worked hard to earn in high school. So she shouldn't be surprised. It's about time she found a backbone. She was right that Kody wasn't even listening when she explained that they couldn't buy Christine's house and pay off the land and start building because there wasn't money for all of that. And if Janelle rented out Christine's house, where was she supposed to live? I loved Christine's bit with the snowblower. Kody wanted her to give it to him and she wasn't having it. She also wanted to put it in the truck first so that he would go away. While he has proclaimed dramatically that he never wants to see her again, she has just calmly cut him out of her life. Janelle should do the same. Meri is full of crap and I have lost all sympathy for her and her self-help nonsense. 5 18 Link to comment

Still,…..I hope they double check. I can just see Kootie handwaving any restrictionss and planning on playing the Persecute the Polygamist card if there are challenges. Obviously they ignored the fact that there were no utilities there, apparently thinking the magic gas/electric/water fairy would provide. 2 7 Link to comment

Robyn still with the Nellie Olsen curls woman. Please And kody needs to lose the dream of being a landlord and they better pray Janelle doesn’t bring in a forensic accountant 4 2 6 7 Link to comment

By the time this would have gone to court and then been enforced, she’d have been close to 18 anyway. I wish there was more discourse on financial abuse. It’s never as easy as, you shoulda just kept your money, you spineless woman. Kody uses the needs of “the family” as a way to pressure these women to do what serves him best. Working together equals do what he says or else he will cut you off emotionally. At this point, “the family” is a malevolent entity that demands sacrifice. All the money funneled into it will never be enough. 7 2 11 Link to comment

I commented (meanly) on that. She acted like Christine had committed an act so heinous it would ripple throughout the ages. Christine left because she'd been neglected and she saw no chance of that ever changing. Someone tell Robyn Christine isn't duty-bound to stick it out (and stay miserable) for the rest of her life so Robyn can live her HBIC dreams. It takes a special kind of asshole to condemn someone else to a loveless marriage while you flaunt your functional (ish) one. 4 hours ago, GeeGolly said: Kody saying Christine once called him a coward, his retort is, yes I was cowardly in not telling you I never liked you. Real life translation: na-na na-na poo-poo, I was gonna be your best friend and now I'm not. I bet he does that toddler thing where he tells you he's not talking to you, storms back in a huff, and then comes back to remind you he's not talking to you. Note to the producers: please capture this on camera if possible. Please and thank you. 5 6 16 9 Link to comment

I wonder how the Retreat went at the B&B OK Magazine answered my question: "She was scrambling to try and fill spots. It was all her LuLaRoe team that went," a source claimed. "No one paid the prices she asked for." "The group consisted of 'fans' who filled spots without paying," the source added. However, some of Meri's followers didn't appear to be fooled by the candid snaps and words of encouragement. "This was 100% a PR stunt after these episodes of her being a witch aired," one user replied. "Too expensive for regular people to come. These are her friends and she did this too look like more of a positive person than she is." A second noted, "They are all Luluroe people, what normal person would pay that."
