  1. I disagree. Someone making a relish plate or a veggie dish or, yep, a dessert, shouldn't need as much money as a protein dish. I do agree there has to be a better way to split the money than the way they did it last night. But also, I wonder if that's why Danny loaded his stuff up last: because they thought he might not need as much?
  2. Another speaking of Nancy, why is she continuing to wear that black eyeshadow?? It is so distracting.
  3. I laughed SO HARD at this moment. Like belly laughed too the point I could barely stop. It was the most Sonja move Sonja has ever made! ETA: this scene interposed with Dorinda and Luann trying to work the sprayer to rinse off had me rolling. It was so very funny. I know Luann used to be so pretentious and maybe she still is but she totally cracks me up when she lets her guard down and goes with it. Her hiding while the rest of the ladies bickered was hilarious, too.
  4. Also, not a single word about Kody being concerned about Truley. Shouldn't that be his primary concern in Christine remarrying?? If he is so damn worried about his kids coming back to him, shouldn't he show the most basic concern for his dependent child?
  5. Haven't read through all of the posts yet but had to pause my watching of the episode to say this: Kody, YOU told Christine you didn't find her attractive. It is not trash talking you to your kids for Christine to admit to them what you said. If you didn't want it repeated, you shouldn't have said it. And I don't think Christine was asking the kids to side with her. She was just having a discussion with them. There was no talk of you being a bad guy. Christine didn't ask them to believe that or encourage hateful rhetoric about you. Own your words. Grow up. Will this man never understand that his separating himself from his children caused the alienation with them? It was no wife trash talking him. Also, if the wives don't discuss what you said to and about them, there is no show. Moron.
  6. A to the men. I am so sick of this whole "music is my dream" shtick that Moriah and now Lydia are pursuing. And the people who are indulging them ought to be ashamed.
  7. Y'all. I think I love Brandan's mom. She has turned out to be very calm and concerned about them both. Bless her heart, I was worried her panic attack after the bugs would cause her to relapse!!!!! Oh Shekinah. And Danielle. They are both getting exactly what we all knew they would. Kimberly is a nut job. She could do a lot to make her situation better. But she was raised in a totally unhealthy way and her coping mechanisms are minimal at best. Coincidentally, while watching Brandan, all I could think was people who grew up in instability have a tendency to continue that unstable life. Kimberly and Brandan illustrate that perfectly.
  8. I was thinking this too. I think he thought he was in love with each OG3 but found out over time that marrying quickly for religious reasons isn't love. He discovered that with Robyn. So that is one part that I think he isn't lying about. The only real thing I learned: holy crap, Meri's ears are huge!!!! Sorry, I couldn't not mention it. Also, I really enjoy listening to Janelle. She is calm, reasonable and seems to have thought some things through.
  9. I am not sure what estrangement from Lydia Grace you are talking about; Olivia posted on IG that they were together just last weekend.
  10. Mitch = my favorite of all the husbands in this show. Which is admittedly a low bar (looking at you, Kody and Tony) but the gentle way he encouraged Truley was fabulous. I was once afraid he would desire polygamy since it was in his family's background but maybe not. Aspyn was always my favorite kid and the just solidified it for me. She must have a good head on her shoulders. All I can say about Kody is what I have said before: each week he stoops lower than before, shocking me with his despicable thoughts and actions. And based on the talking heads, I think Tony (at least and possibly Mykelti) is using Ozempic. His hair has that thinning, fried, wispy look that is widespread among users. And I think Mykelti's looks a little thinner than it used to....
  11. I am no homeschooling apologist but there are people out there who do it and do it well. To the point their kids are better educated than public school kids. I can't imagine Ethan would be capable of that and, if Olivia isn't interested, it's a moot point. Of course, I think they should go their separate ways long before a child is born much less education decisions be made for a child. Also, something just occurred to me: what job is Ethan doing now??
  12. There are Christian denominations that don't celebrate Christmas for a variety of reasons. One being that we don't know exactly when Jesus was born and indications are it was nowhere near December 25th. Some of the people I know who don't celebrate Christmas said that date was based on a pagan idea. Not sure where they got that but it's an argument that's used. Also, at least one denomination thinks it's wrong to celebrate Christ's birth on one day when we should celebrate it every day. These arguments also apply to people who don't celebrate Easter.
  13. And he wants to call C&J horrible sister wives. Newsflash: I think almost any woman would be a horrible sister wife if she knew her husband considered her sister wife his "soulmate" and love of his life.
