Find someone who loves to brag about you the way Rinna does Scott Disik(?) She is positively giddy.

I'm aware that this guy is someone from the Kardashian discard pile, but as one of the unindoctrinated - I don't get it. Was he some kind of big deal?

Crystal has the face you love to hate.

Her smug condescending snide visage is almost that which would be found on a super villain.

The mirthless rictus that never leaves her can lead us to only one conclusion.

Crystal is the Joker!

Nope.  But he's more than the discard pile because he is the father of three kids with Kourtney.  So, he's never really gone away.

So Kathy's house!  Wow.  I don't think we've seen anything like that since Camile's first season.

I do have a question:  Has Kathy lived in BH all this time?  Why did I think they lived in NYC?

NO! He thought he was some kind of a big deal by having some K kids with one of the sisters.

Please note that I never watched any of the K shows but read online about him showing up drunk in the K's baby mommas house/front door/porch?, and yelling at her.

I'm sick of emotional, irrational, erratic Sutton.  I want her to "let the mouse go".  I'd be just like Crystal, marveling at the mess that is Sutton.

I had to check out my window after watching this episode for the pigs flying by because, outside of the Thomasina comment, I am really enjoying Kathy.  She breaks the tension with her humorous comments and her (shall we say) naivete.  Well done, Kathy.  (But please stop calling Sutton Thomasina).

I guess stirring the pot runs in the family because Kyle pulled out her spoon with the question on whether Amelia was traveling with Lord Disick.  I'm pretty sure Lisa said last week that Harry wasn't too thrilled about the Hamlin, Jr./Disick hook up so unless you're trying to start something, Disick shouldn't have been brought up at all.  But of course Kyle is happy to have someone in the hot seat so long as it's not her.

I loved how Harry told Dorit and Kyle that Lisa had done nothing to prepare for the party she planned.  Ha!

Erika, I don't think anyone is going to feel sorry for you in your $10K a month rental.

Sutton really had no business criticizing Crystal's leather pants (or anyone's outfit) while wearing that dress and she's way over-emotional but Crystal is a total smug asshole for someone who's only accomplishment appears to be marrying very well and spitting out two kids so I have to take Sutton's side on that count alone.

This was a fun episode.  Look, kids, Garcelle doesn't make her sauce from scratch when she prepares chicken parmisan!  Harry Hamlin, on the other hand, does make sauce from scratch—with vegetables he grows himself—when he makes spaghetti bolognese!

Bravo! to whomever first noticed Sutton's meltdown was all about deciding not to bring a birthday present.  A lot of her social persona depends upon bribing the people around her with small gifts and such.  In her own eyes, this was a huge social gaffe and so, she had a meltdown.  But, of course, not being terribly self-aware, she couldnt own the real reason.

That said, I will confess I've had similar meltdowns at weird social gatherings where I was forced for one reason or another to mingle with and drink alcohol around people I didn't like very much.  Wotthehell? I would think to myself.  I've got nothing to lose. Making a scene and burning bridges can be satisfying in its own weird way.

It does kinda mean that viewers are stuck with Violate-gate for the rest of the season.  Which is too bad because it drains attention from this season's main attraction:  the Attempted Redemption of Erika.

I loved Kathy's blue and white room, I hope we see more of her house.

Sutton who brings a gift for every occasion failed to bring a gift for Garcelle's birthday was embarrassing for her but I think what really sent her over the edge was that some of the HW's went in together for a gift and it hurt her feelings that no one considered asking her to chip in with them...we know how she feels about being left out of the group.

Also, Sutton was right about Crystals pants, not flattering at all.

Sutton could have just extended a mini shopping trip to her store to Garcelle so she can pick out something for herself and have a little lunch brought in to the store.

Crystal is kind of a bitch.

Kathy is a bit of a ditsy bitch.

Sutton should understand she is not part of the Kyle Click.  She will be left out.

I do not celebrate Christmas so I am wondering about decorating the house for the holiday, isn't is supposed to be a personal thing with family heirlooms and such...department store like decor in your house seems so impersonal.  I guess it is the easiest way to get rid of everything when the holiday is over, let some one else clean it all up.

Lisa asking if she should call Scott Disick "Lord" was stupid, it was a title he gave himself.  Kyle knows him, why didn't she say anything about that?

Harry could tell Rinna to be careful what she wishes for - Scott would likely be with Kourtney if he wasn’t still using, as discussed on the recent final season of their show. Amelia struggles with anorexia - she doesn’t need an addict near forty who acts like a kid. Pervy Scott is handsome and funny - not hard to see how he charms teenagers.

I really can't take much more of "Fragile Sutton." Though I suppose I can take more of than Wronged-by-her-husband Erika persona that she is trying desperately to sell.

I'm also having trouble with oversensitive Crystal. Someone once said she's too sensitive for this type of show, and I agree.  It's  OK for her to feel violated, but it's not OK for her to state that Sutton violated her. Sutton did knock. She wasn't being "Tomasina." They both need to drop it.

Yes, Wronged Erika is revolting.

Harry Hamlin had an affair with Ursula Andress? She had their baby at 44? I had no idea.

I haven't watched since Puppygate, so I'm wondering how Lisa bit Garcelle in the butt.

1. Crystal hasn't stated that Sutton violated her. Sutton is the one who has continuously said that Crystal said that because it makes Crystal look like the villain. But all Crystal has said is that she felt violated by Sutton's actions.

It's also interesting that some are claiming that Crystal is too cold, while others claim she's too sensitive. IMO, it is one or the other, not both. As it is, Crystal HASN'T brought up the incident since a day or so after it. It's Sutton who keeps bringing it up. So IMO, the evidence that Crystal is "oversensitive," especially in comparison to Sutton, is pretty thin.

2. Agreed on the Thomasina thing - maybe Sutton should bring that up to Kathy, and not Crystal, since Kathy is the one who keeps saying it. Not Crystal.

Strictly speaking, I don't think Harry Hamlin and Ursula Andress had an affair - they were romantically involved but I don't think that either was married to other people at the time. And yes, they had a child together.

I have to agree, I was craving a bowl of bolognese at 9:00 pm last night after watching.    I have not grown any tomatoes in a while but I agree with Harry, the home grown ones are nothing like the tasteless ones you buy at your local market.  That seemed to be the longest amount of time we’ve seen Harry on the screen in a long time.  Does he live part time in Canada?  I thought I heard Rinna say something about it.

Things that flickered through my mind while watching this episode:

Harry didn’t like the idea of Amelia getting pregnant, but has possibly never considered that Ursula (a woman fast aging out of the babymaking years) might have seen him as a convenient young stud during that first encounter. (Yep, according to Rinna, it happened the first time! Apparently neither Ursula nor Harry knew about birth control.)

And Crystal might have felt violated by Sutton’s intrusion because people had checked on her after meals to keep her from purging - or because she was purging.

Loved seeing so much of Harry Hamlin this episode. Always have loved Harry, always will. He also reminds me of my husband who is a very nurturing person (much more than I am), and a great cook.

Kathy's clueless act is wearing thin. She called Sutton Thomasina, knowing full well the reaction she would get. I was not impressed. Also pretending not to know what hunky dory meant? It was one thing to say it at Lisa's, but to carry it over to her TH? Sorry Kathy, you are not that good of actor. OTOH her house is the type of house porn that I expect from HW shows, and pretty much never see anymore. At least in the franchises I watch.

I didn't understand Crystal's comment that the difference between her and her husband age wise was the exception. Isn't that the rule in BH? Also not sure why Sutton would be jealous of Crystal? I have yet to see anything to do with Crystal that should make anyone jealous.

I don't believe Cathy is acting. Lol !!!!  she's just that dense.

If Sutton wanted to distract attention from the absence of a gift, she succeeded! Maybe we’re seeing a well-honed strategy - acting batshit crazy in order to hide something worse: a lack of manners, or a lack of anything.

(Sutton actually left the gift table, drawing the cameras to a different location.)

Erika's "poor, pitiful me" routine is wearing on me.  She's driving a friggin' Range Rover, living in an amazing home and has two rooms full of designer clothes, shoes and purses.  If Tom hadn't picked her up from that cocktail lounge 22 years ago, would she have any of those things?  She's playing such a role.  I've said it before - she could definitely get a part on whatever soap opera Eileen Davidson is working on now.

Erika herself packed up all those clothes and shoes in a van after dropping Tom off at work?  I don’t believe it.  That was some display.

My feeling is that it is not just that Sutton didn't bring a gift, which was bad enough for Sutton. It's that Crystal DID bring a gift, and that gift was in conjunction with Kathy and Kyle.  To be fair to Sutton, she has already talked about feeling like an outsider. The fact that Crystal - the person she doesn't like - clearly has an "in" with Kathy and Kyle makes her feel like even more of an outsider.

Again, she acted like a teenage girl in her reaction to feeling like an outsider - she lashed out again to the person that she thinks may be the weakest link (though the fact that Crystal is close enough with Kathy and Kyle to arrange to buy a gift with them should maybe have her rethinking that perception).  But maybe if Crystal/Kathy/Kim hadn't brought their gift - or if Crystal had just brought a gift on her own - perhaps Sutton wouldn't have acted like such an immature child.

ETA: It's also just plain weird that Sutton didn't bring a gift for Garcelle, since they have been playing up Sutton and Garcelle's relationship this season. And even last night, I think Garcelle feels like she has a genuine bond with Sutton. So I don't know why Sutton would have missed the opportunity to bring a gift, since she brings gifts to everything else. It's not like Lisa sprung it on her, she was there when Lisa said that people could bring gifts or not and as soon as she heard it was a possibility, Sutton should have figured that at least ONE of the other women would have a gift for Garcelle.

Oh Sutton I like you and have defended you a lot, but it is pretty hard to defend you tonight!

I get that Crystal isn't the most likable out of the bunch, but she was guilty of nothing this time. Kathy is the one who teased Sutton, not Crystal. It's not Crystal's fault Sutton didn't bring a gift either. Crystal was just sitting there minding her business, celebrating Garcelle's birthday. She didn't conspire to embarrass Sutton. I understand Sutton being embarrassed she forget to bring a gift, but it's really not that big of a deal. Everyone knows she's generous. She could have said "oh my gosh, I forgot to bring my gift for you with me Garcelle! I'll bring it next time." If it were about Garcelle and not her, she wouldn't have ruined the moment. Everyone was having fun.

I don't think Sutton is a bad person, but her combination of hormones, awkwardness, sensitivity, it's not fun to watch on TV. She is too fragile to be a Real Housewife.

Someone brought up Crystal having "resting smug face," and I could see that. There are instances where she does seem smug, like when she said in a confessional "Sutton is who I thought she was" with this huge smirk on her face. But then many instance she has that exact same expression, so IDK. It's possible she doesn't mean to come across smug at all. My own face looks unhappy unless I'm smiling.

I wasn't crazy about how Crystal portrayed what was an accident, but she is correct regarding the definition of violate. There are so many things that are violating. For example, someone going through my phone without my permission leaves me feeling violated.

I’m not taking sides here, but why would Sutton bring Crystal her coat upstairs at night no less when they all were going to bed?  Why not just leave it downstairs? It wasn’t a nice gesture as it didn’t make any sense.  Did she bring everyone’s coat upstairs?  Don’t people have a coat closet downstairs usually?

Sutton should have just said that the gift she brought for Garcelle hadn't arrived yet. Covid and all.

Given she brings gifts for everything (and came with a bottle of wine/hostess gift for Lisa) it really is strange she didn't bring one.  She was right there in the flashback when Lisa said if anyone wanted to bring one, they could.  Sutton usually doesn't even need that much of an opening.

As to her being pissed/hurt that Crystal went in on one with Kathy and Kyle--it's been shown Kathy and Crystal are good friends/knew each other prior to filming, so I don't know why that would be so hurtful to her.  Kyle glomming onto that isn't surprising either, given Kathy is her sister.  It's not like everyone went in on a gift and left her out.
