Yes....tequila blanco is usually clear.  Reposado (not "rapasado" as Denise kept saying) is more like the color of ginger ale, sort of.  

It seems like, so far, the women of Beverly Hills are drinking a lot more than in past seasons.  Even Erika - who said she "needed a shot" when she met up with Denise and Garcelle in the bar.  She was never a big drinker.  

Just wondering - is Casamigos a RHOBH sponsor?  Seems like that is the only tequila the ladies want to drink, and they say the name very frequently.

Garcelle seems cool and taking everything in stride. Can tell she was takes time to get to know you. Woman sure likes to vibrate.

Glad to see that even walking a runway in a fashion show, Teddi has all the grace of a lumbering elephant.  She has one of the worst walks of any housewife, any franchise (And, they've all got bad walkers - Vicki Gunvalson, Bethenny Frankel and Kyle herself come to mind right away).

Teddi's runway walk may be a close second to Ramona Singer's!!

From what I can remember, a lot of viewers started off liking Brandi. I don't know where it all went wrong. Maybe it was when she tried to act like LVP put a gun to her head and put her up to trashing Kyle's marrige.

- I may be in the minority, but I liked most of Kyle's line--even Erika's outfit that Garcelle called frumpy. I wonder if Kyle put Erika in the most loosely fitted article of clothing because Erika is not as thin as the other women, even though I think Erika has a great body. 

- Even though I did like most of Kyle's pieces, she is no way, shape, or form a designer. She should have just said she licensed someone else's clothes.

- I'm really digging Garcelle so far. I can't wait to see more of her life.

- I like that Lisa Rinna is trying new hairstyles. Her signature 'do was just fine, but I like to see her with different 'dos.

- Erika seems to be more open this season. I couldn't imagine the Erika of a few seasons ago taking the ladies where she use to work. But boy were those strippers stiff as a board. LoL.

- Although this season seems promising, it looks like the ladies have learned nothing about ganging up on one cast member. It'd be hilarious if Denise emerged as the breakout star with all the women (excluding Garcelle) ganging up on her about whatever happened between her and Brandi. Most of the public sided with LVP regarding Doggygate.

I wonder if Erika was doing some damage control by taking the women to the bikini bar/go-go bar that she worked in.  You know, kind of like "Let me get ahead of the story and put it out there on my terms, before someone from my past does it".  

Erika's "alter ego" thing makes complete sense now.  I've heard that dancers/strippers often create an alter ego/alternate personality while working that is completely opposite of the real person.

I have a question, though - was this before or after she had her son?  Her past is so cloudy with limited/skewed information so it's hard to figure out.

Well, that was interesting. I didn't miss LVP one iota, and I loved the name of the episode. I am glad though that Sutton is not a regular cast mate. Why trade one insufferable snob for another? And that pink outfit she was modeling for Rinna?  OMFG! She looked like a Pepto Bismol bottle, round and stubby. Not a good look.

I thought Kyle's line looked like a bunch of clothes on the discount rack at Winners. I swear I have seen several of those prints there. I did like the robe that Rinna modeled, and thought she did the best job. Dorito was good as well, and I liked Teddi's walk just because I give her props for doing it in the first place. Also Erika's dress at the dinner that failed to cover her rear was a hoot. 

I think I read something briefly about Denise and Brandy, but thought it was just a rumour. Interesting that Denise stopped taping in December. I feel sorry for Aaron, who Denise seems to have married to have a live in babysitter for her kids.

I like Teddi, but this may be her last season. Sutton, although she is pretentious, brought more in terms of entertainment tonight than Teddi did.

I doubt Denise married Aaron so he could watch her daughters. Denise seems like a great mom, and she raised Lola and Sam by herself for years without a man. She also adopted Eloise on her own. Moreover, Denise was taking care of Charlie Sheen's sons with Brooke Mueller while Brooke was in rehab and Charlie on drugs and was partying with hookers.

So far so good, everyone seems to be getting along...so far. I wasn’t crazy about Kyle’s fashion line but it’s not my taste. I like her bangs but I’m a bangs person myself.

I like Garcelle, she’s beautiful. On the fence about Sutton, she came off as snobby. Interesting about Denise. I heard about her and Brandi, I was under the impression it happened a long time ago. Maybe not, can’t wait to see how this plays out.

Aaron gives me a typical-Los Angeles-opportunist vibe, so they're probably using each other.  But I think that's just a part of how people live in LA.  

Dorit helping Kyle with her show was the most bearable she's been since her first season.  I'm usually able to appreciate the housewives, flaws and all, but Dorit's scenes are the closest I get to hate-watching.  

Kyle claiming that Paris is a fashion icon was hilarious.  

I was fine with Sutton's snarky comments but I can see why she didn't get a diamond in the opening sequence.  I don't think she realized what she was signing up for.  

Garcelle was fun and playful, which brings a totally different dynamic to this franchise.  I can see her stealing the show.  

They were breaking the fourth wall in that preview with all of the Denise drama.  I hope that means that the producers are finally recognizing that some viewers realize a lot of this is manufactured, and they're trying to incorporate that into the show.

I don’t mind Sutton at all, if she continues to shade Dorit’s ‘fashion’ choices and obscene label-flashing.  And Sutton has the kind of money that some of the others pretend to have.

Kyle definitely had her eyes done- and for the past two seasons has been wearing these weird gray contacts.

I think this may have been one of the best season openers. I liked all the ladies getting along. I loooove the addition of Garcelle Beauvais. She had issues with her twins' dad back in the day if I am remembering correctly. And may I say I'm personally thrilled to have a black woman on this particular part of the RH franchise.

If Brandi Glanville comes back to this show I may be out. I can't support racists. (Haven't watched a Mel Gibson movie in 20 years. Also Vince Vaughn and Jon Voight fuck those guys.)

I haven’t seen this episode but I did just watch an episode of Beverly Hills 90210, where Donna Martin served as a “model” for her own fashion show. Everyone was like “ooh, ah, you are SO amazing, Donna!” But to the viewer, it looks like she’s clomping along in those chunky late-90s heels, wearing mediocre outfits. Life imitates art (“life” imitates “art” 🤣)

The black and white stripes with the nautical rope motif was the one I pinged on. Maybe Winners back when we could actually go to real stores? But I swear I've seen that or something incredibly similar come from either some fashion show or one of the many Bravo shows that are now starting to melt together in my brain during this quarantine period. 

ETA: I don't mean I think Kyle's "designs" (lol forever) are what I've seen, just that the print itself has been making the rounds for the past while.

With Brandi, it's hard to say. Maybe she is telling the truth, maybe she is embellishing things in an attempt to claw her way back onto the show, who knows.

I really had a hard time with the previews. Are they really going to try to destroy Denise Richards and drag her name though the mud? She has young teen and preteen daughters. Including a disabled and challenged daughter who would be so confused and scared about her Mom and the man she sees as her Dad. Do they have an ounce of decency amongst them?

I would expect that from Rinna and Vile Kyle but what’s the excuse for the rest of them?

I can’t speak for anyone else but at one time, briefly I had a lot of sympathy for her. I read her piece in Marie Claire or maybe it was Glamour about how broken and humiliated she was over Eddie leaving her for Leann. All she ever did was model. So she was approaching middle age, had no savings (IIRC, she blew what she had on things like a boat for Eddie), no skills and wasn’t going to receive anything as they had basically been living on credit. All their bills went to her MIL’s house so she was blind about the state of their finances. She was witty and adorable. Then the cruel and crazy began to come out, her face began to change. After that she wasn’t amusing, she was awful. I’m still curious if the trauma of everything made her so terrible or if the crazy awfulness was always there but she kept it in control.

Me too! In fact it was always so weirdly desperate around that time how she was popping up on everything Paris related. E!, all the ET,Extra type shows.
Even the Simple Life episode where Paris arrives to the party on the helicopter. She said something along the lines of Paris likes to make an entrance! I should know, I’m her aunt! and made a smirk face.

I thought I'd be more excited to welcome everyone back to my TV, but I'm actually not. I guess it's the current atmosphere in the world today, what with all the COVID-19 illness and deaths and everything basically shut down.

I was counting on the show to be an escape and all I kept thinking was, how shallow all the bitches are, how unreal.

Speaking of which, did they ALL have plastic surgery between the last time they were on camera and now? Or does the show's make up team hate all of them? 'Cause they look awful. I don't know if it's a combo of bad plastic surgery and bad makeup or one or the other, but gurl, please.

Kyle looks like she might have lost considerable weight since we saw her last. Just me? OK. I actually don't mind the bangs, but I'm surprised she cut her hair for a 2-3 week movie shoot. They couldn't have put a wig on her?

And this Sutton person is judgey and just extra. She's mean, nasty and extra. I took an instant dislike to her. Garcelle, OTOH, I loved. Down to earth and not impressed by anything. Truly a breath of fresh air.

Of course, that's what I thought about Denise last season and look where that's gone.
