I agree - if you look at her IG account - some of her photos appear to be Legit professional model work photos. In my opinion you would need to have some smarts or at least know what’s going on to take photos/get work like that - I don’t know, not an expert - lol.

Anyone of those guys on the party yachts could have arranged for her to have professional photos taken of Juliana as a way to get in her pants.

SO MANY GREAT COMMENTS!

Yes, Emily's mom is gorgeous. She also has a happy personality, which Sasha seems to also enjoy. LOL WInk Wink.

Emily may have a personality but it's not evident yet. I'm not sure exactly what she cares about, besides showing the world that Sasha will take care of a baby. I think the poster who commented on Emily thinking she was special and the other women were mistakes was right on. Emily may realize that Sasha just treats everyone like shit, and she's gonna to definitely have a problem with it. Especially that it's being filmed, I'm sure she's humiliated. She got Sasha to be there for the delivery, more than the other women  did (but as Sasha explained, culturally, it would be weird for the man to be there, so not really too surprising). I think Emily is going to be in for a rude awakening when she realizes the power and stamina of Sasha's ego. It's ginormous. I'm even going to venture to say that Sasha may have a bigger ego than Jesse, which almost seems impossible. Any type of direction or pressure from a women send them into a manic meltdown. They MUST have the final say. They are right.

Again, baby David needs a check-up. Let's get to that first.

Annie and Mursel. Oh my. Two people who are naturally shy and quiet. I think Annie's frustration is that she herself isn't able to explain how she feels and she's overwhelmed with emotions. She wants Mursel to help her, but he's quiet in his own language, so get him to come out of his shell speaking English is an impossible task. I actually don't think the problem is that hard. From the previews, it looks like Mursel is from a small-town and has closed-minded parents. He obviously wants more than that, cuz he's in the US, happily fucking without being married and living with another man's sperm creations.

All said, Annie seems fun. I'd go drink with her any day!

As many of us here have been viewers from the start of 90D, we remember when this show was not the farce/trainwreck it has become. Ahh, the days of such couples: Danny and Amy, Kyle and Noon, Alan and Kirlyam, Alexi and Loren....and a few others. I continue to watch hoping for another couple I will vociferously cheer for while in my living room.

As I have expressed here several times, I abhor wineMichael for several reasons. The most superficial one is his odd facial expressions.

I found Loren unlikeable when she was on her season.  I loved Kyle and noon and Danny and Amy (mostly Amy)..   but even then those were the rare gems among the more common trainwrecks like mark/Nikki, Brett/days, Dani/mo, Russ/pao, Molly/Luis, Courtney/Antonio, Sean/Abby, etc, etc.

We need another White couple who has a Black baby! And another couple where both are gay and in the closet!

I think mursel "settled" for Anna because I don't think he is a hot property in turkey or in the US.  I could be way off base, but I suspect there aren't many nearly 40 year old bachelors in turkey.  Especially when the man's parents are super traditional and are a heavy influence in his life.

It makes me think that his parents couldnt offload him on a local Turkish woman.

I don't think mursel is shy at all.  He doesn't seem to have any problem making random friends on an airplane or demanding that Anna see something RIGHT NOW!

This one of my favorite tropes, the second/third/fourth wife who believes that her asshole spouse will magically be different because she’s so special. They never question why things didn’t work out with the former spouse and simply take his word for it (“She was such bitch.”).

She said she wants someone who shares her Christian faith (which I totally understand bc I feel the exact same way). It's not just bc of the aliens. But I bet she feels he would be easier to convert than a Jew or a Muslim bc there is not profession of faith or covenant made by alien believers.

I get that, but, wouldn’t coming to the USA, becoming a citizen, getting married and having a baby override the religion problem?  The baby would be Catholic.  I doubt she will find a Ukranian church nearby tho.  There are many married couples that have different religions.  For her, it shouldn’t be the dealbreaker.  This should have been discussed before he went there.

not too sure there's many actual archeologists and historians who propose the ancient aliens stuff as being any sort of theory.  The show is laughable.  Most of the things presented as being ancient pictures of tech and what not have perfectly reasonable mundane, non-alien explanations.

The problem is that pseudoarcheology is more entertaining than real archaeology, so some people, like Mike, who've never taken any anthropology courses from an accredited university believe what shows like Ancient Aliens put out there because they have an interest in aliens in the first place. It's just junk science.

Aliens may very well exist, but there is no actual evidence that they were here building pyramids all over the world or abducting people named Bubba from cornfields. The sad thing is that there are always scientists who will go against science to make a buck; anti-vax medical researchers, climate change deniers who happen to work for oil companies or other polluting industries, nutritionists/biologists who work in the food industry or are swayed by lobbyist etc...

100x this.  Dealbreakers are different for each person and I'm not here to judge the merits of one person's dealbreakers

But whoever has a deal breaker needs to discuss it early on in a relationship.

Why would she let him get this involved without having a phone conversation where she makes clear that him doing anything but converting to her religion is a dealbreaker.

If I only wanted to date men that wore purple socks and it was a deal breaker I'd ask him about socks after like our third date.  How does he feel about colorful socks, does he like the color purple, etc, etc.

If it's big enough to be a dealbreaker its important enough to ask about up front.

My only comment to add:  When Angie and Skyla were in the car, driving towards the bridal shop, Angie said, "We're going huntin' a weddin' dress."

I turned to Mr. AZC and said, "Shouldn't they be wearing camo and carrying a shotgun?  And is it weddin' dress huntin' season?"  (I watch North Woods Law.  I know stuff.)

Funny enough, as they were getting out of the car, I noticed that the business sharing a parking lot with the bridal shop was a pawn shop advertising that they both bought your gold and could sell you guns. One stop shopping, y'all!

Emily's sister Becky is the biggest bitch I've ever seen on this clusterfuck, and that's saying something. "Well, I didn't want to cook so I just got cereal". "Why are they going to the gym? Emily hated gym in high school". New flash, bitch sister, sometimes peoples' tastes and interests change once they hit their twenties.

And the whole family sitting around, watching Sasha eat that stupid bowl of cereal, like he was the entertainment! GAWD.

This is a very interesting take. When I saw this scene, I thought of Libby and Andrei and her sisters saying how she was never about this or that until this guy came along. I view it as desperation to find a husband. Emily even said that she had to go to the gym and work off the baby fat lest Sasha finds wife #4 or whatever. That she even has to think that way is awful. Her sister is probably seeing a completely different person. I thought it was lazy to say she didn't want to cook breakfast but if someone came into my home and told me not to be eating this and threw the box on the counter, I would not be very pleased. There is a way to be gracious in someone else's home. I think her gym comment was all about pointing out that Emily is acting like an obedient puppy dog all in the name of keeping a man. Bleh. Sasha is scary. I get a very angry vibe from him. He looks like he can go from 0-60 and turn to rage when he does not get what he wants.

I'm beginning to lose interest in this show and it makes me sad. Something about this cast of characters is so uninteresting and all of them are complete mismatches:

Anny and Robert: Maybe I'm weird but I just think it's completely inappropriate to bring a stranger into your bed with your kid. These two are just nasty and deserve each other. How Anny thinks she's going to have all these nice, expensive things from a guy who drives Uber and has four kids to support is a mystery. He can tell her all he wants. Judge Judy would call it "puffing" but is she too stupid to realize that a guy who drives a cab is not going to be able to come through on all he has promised.

Anna and Mursel: I think Mursel is a loser, manbaby if he can't tell his family that his soon-to-be wife has kids. He never should have gotten involved with her if he knew that he'd be disowned by the fam and did not want that to happen. What were those conversations like early in their relationship? Was Anna okay with that? Did she ignore it, thinking it would go away or did she take a page from Glen Close and think that once they were together she'd be able to make him come to her side of things? Anna is the lowest of the low in my opinion. She keeps saying her kids are her world and everything to her and priority number one but her behavior says the opposite. I cannot stand her and feel so sorry for her kids.

I don't watch Angela and am disgusted that they kept them this season.

Michael and Juliana. I don't know what to say. She's offended by the thought of a prenup because she's 22 and thinks everything is forever, maybe. He wonders if once she lives here a while and gets her own life she'll want to bail out with a golden parachute and is trying to prevent that. Does she really want to be independent? Or is it just a matter of a 22 year old, poor girl who thinks if she can tolerate sleeping with this guy, she can have a nice, cushy lifestyle for herself here and pursue a modeling cuhreer without fear of needing to pay the bills. And whatever the "real story" may be, we can only comment on what we are seeing on the show. Generally speaking, it's kind of unfair when someone close to a situation appears in a thread and gets upset at the commentary that is totally based on what we are seeing portrayed on the show.

Mike needs to ditch Glen Close asap. She seems deranged in the extreme. Just the way she was talking to him when they were out for a run was disturbing. Yeah, it's nice that you go running every day but she wasn't exactly encouraging to him to get in shape. He was game to do it but the came across as such a bitch about it. The conversation over tea/coffee was wack. Her mother is all "Go have a baby and everything will be fine." Yikes. This dude needs to bail out.

A little critical thinking goes such a long way. It's not taught in school and it should be.

I attended public school in California in the 70s & 80s. I was even in the gifted kids program and the concept of critical thinking was literally never introduced to me in any subject, by any teacher. By and large, most people haven't developed sufficient self awareness to question their own beliefs, much less the origins of those beliefs.

You lucked out. I spent many years (retired in 2011) as a professor at a state university. Trust me, those kids wouldn’t know what critical thinking was if it bit them on the ass. They believe everything they read on Facebook, take it as the gospel truth and never consider the possibility that there are two sides to a story. And let’s not mention their horrible (as in no) writing skills.

I can see your point. But they aren't helping themselves by Michael's ex wife going around defending them when somebody posts a funny meme or Michael having a hissy fit about comments people made about him on the show. Frankly it makes them look elitist and out of touch by thinking they are above it all when they are the ones who put themselves out there on a trashy reality show.

I totally agree. It's not like there hasn't been a bunch of previous seasons. They knew what they were getting into and, yeah, probably thought it wouldn't affect them. Suckers. I'm not sure about the reference to the social media stuff, since I haven't seen it, but I do think the more you fight back in social media, the crazier you look. The best thing you can do is to just own your crazy however it's portrayed and roll with it. You'll look better laughing with it than trying to fight it.

I have zero problems with the snark-Lord knows I've done more than my share. I would never want the snark to stop. Isn't that what we're here for? I simply said that it wasn't fun for ME. When I disappeared earlier this fall it's because I suffered 2 strokes in a row and wasn't able to read the posts anymore.  Many of these comments to me have been about how I am doing medically. I completely agree...i mute during her segment...she's so disgusting and the sound of her voice grates on me...not sure why michael has put up with her

And you're so correct about the roles being reversed...if it were a man being as abusive towards a woman, i doubt TLC would continue with the story...as it should be! But they need to stop giving Angela a paycheck

Surely there are much nicer churches than the one she took him to.

I'm not sure what the "nicesess" of the church has to do with anything. Would it make him more willing to convert?

I'm not at all saying that either Emily or Sasha are "right". There's plenty of dislike to go around! They're all awful. Betsy saying that her 29 year old sister is not like she was in high school, and being critical of that, seems petty. And yes, there is a way to be a gracious guest. Sasha is rude, and arrogant, and not at all likable. There is also a way to be a gracious host. If Betsy didn't want to host Emily and Sasha, she should have spelled that out ahead of time. Arrangements for shopping, housekeeping, and meals should have been made before the plane landed. Being passive aggressive and snotting "I don't want to cook" is not being a gracious host. Making a "who farted" face every time her (younger and prettier) sister speaks isn't being a gracious host.

Emily's insecurity about her weight is a separate issue. Sasha is a dick to hold that over her head. Her sister can be supportive without being an asshole. But I think that's their dynamic. Emily is weak and spineless, Betsy is bossy and overbearing. She's pretty mad that Emily isn't deferring to her since Sasha's in the picture. I bet she's dragged every one of Emily's boyfriends. She seems to spend most of her time telling Emily how she's wrong and stupid to do what she does. (Remember that Skype when Emily was about to give birth? When Betsy tried to make her feel like shit for having the baby in Russia instead of getting on a plane--mere days from her due date--and coming to the US?). Betsy reminds me of Teen Mom 2's Kail. I don't like any of them!

Angela- I skippped over all her segments; she is revolting.

Bee kingdom- what? why?  I didn't need to hear about their sex life.  Why are they so afraid of his parents?  He's in America and far away from them; what? they are going to yell at him over the phone?  Millions of people distance themselves from their toxic families all the time.  this is a dumb storyline.

Julie and Melted Ken doll- He is gross and skeevy.  Say what you will about Julianna, she's a survivor and I hope she takes him for all he's worth.

Florida man ho and Anny- That was a nice apartment; he is a gaslighter dangling crap in front of her when he knows he'll never get it for her.  Get Bryson a bed already!

Russian man ho and delusional Emily- He's seen your family and their cereal now he's gonna be a the gym shoppin for a new baby mama.

Me: *confused dog head tilt*

As many of us here have been viewers from the start of 90D, we remember when this show was not the farce/trainwreck it has become. Ahh, the days of such couples: Danny and Amy, Kyle and Noon, Alan and Kirlyam, Alexi and Loren....and a few others. I continue to watch hoping for another couple I will vociferously cheer for while in my living room.

I read an interview with one of the producers on Yahoo - Entertainment. He said that the show took off during Season 3 when Danielle and Mohamed were featured. Apparently, viewers find couples that are controversial and “train wrecks” more interesting.  So, they are no longer casting ordinary couples like Alan/Kirlyam and Danny/Amy.

None of that would override his being Christian. Not for me. Prbly not for her. She's entitled to whatever dealbreakers she wants. But I agree w/ you that it should have been discussed AND settled long ago.

I recall Natalie explaining that believing in God allows one to believe that He helps you.  And I think the flaw in a lot of Christians' thinking is that they have a magic carpet ride through life with no troubles etc, and of course most people do run into some troubles.

Anyway for her, she can use her logic that since God arranged her best friend to marry in the USA and for Mike to be that guy's best friend, that God will magically fix up this relationship...and Mike will of course convert.  So he needs to get with her (big G's) plan!

Big Ange didn't disappoint with the big white veil - huge improvement when she tossed it over her face & crinkly décolleté. MyKuhl would probably appreciate that look for the wedding, & thereafter. He should gift her a mouth gag as a wedding gift.

Tania will return & be completely dissatisfied with Syringe's work (or lack thereof) on the SHE-shed. She'll crack the whip & get him working properly while stirring potions in her mom's kitchen.

It's nice to have a few normal couples sprinkled in among the crazies...to cleanse our palate. And also to help us suspend our disbelief bc some of this stuff is hard to swallow (Angela and Michael, etc.)

Could not agree more. This show runs two hours, and I've found it difficult to keep up my interest,

The only thing that keeps me watching is the Like Snark and the comments here. Even those lively discussions wind down earlier in the week than they used to. Remember the days when we'd be rehashing Sunday's episode until so late in the week it was time for the next one?

Yes, HE will have had no right to be annoyed that she not only didn't have the shed ready, but also lied about it, but HE had better have that shed showroom ready by himself in 30 days or less.

Ouch. It actually looks like she had some radical removal of part of her face/nose probably due to cancer.

I honestly thought there was something wrong with my TV when I saw that poor woman.
