Wasn't it implied (wrongly, cruelly, by David) that Maryssa was lying or exaggerating in some way? IIRC the judge went against the recommendation of...everyone...and returned the kids to the home.

Didn’t they recently spend some time in Nashville?  Maybe she sparked with someone there.  All I can say about that is, she is most likely moving onto soulmate #6 and I’m sitting here single for the better part of the last 10 years.  I know, I know....quality over quantity, yadda, yadda, yadda.  🤣

Yes. Apparently David produced evidence of Whitney (Maryssa's mother) telling the Grandmother that Maryssa was a good liar. However, as far as I know, we never got the context in which that statement was made.

In NC, you have to be physically separated for a year before you can file for divorce. Someone on Twitter sleuthed out that you only have to live in TN for 60 days to be considered a resident and they don't have the one year separation rule.

Wow!  So does the divorce fall under TN jurisdiction then?  And does it proceed in TN court?   This is very confusing to me because it’s NOT NORMAL.  Who the F just picks up and runs to another state for 2 months to get a quickie divorce???

You have to be a TN resident for six months to file, normally - you can file immediately, though, if there was abuse. Once you file, there's a mandatory 60 day waiting period before the divorce can go through, 90 days if there are children.  So, in the absence of abuse, it wouldn't really speed things up that much  vs staying in NC & waiting the year to file.

Since they traveled to a Mingo Falls earlier in October I’ve wondered if she was in the Cherokee, NC/Gatlingburg, TN area.  There’s literally only a mountain between the two cities.  And with Nathan showing up to roller skate/laser tag/bowl there are a ton of places like that in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area.  I don’t know how many hours that is from The Land though.

Anyone who would want to get involved with her would have to be as fucked up as she is or worse. No guy with any morals, character, stability and emotional wellness would want to have a relationship with her. Talking to her for half an hour would be all it would take to scare off the average guy. Especially now. She's had so much horrible press in the last year alone, a quick google search would have most men changing their number and deleting their Tinder profile.

She might find a guy with the Captain Save a Ho complex. Oh my god, I'm so shocked.

That's exactly her plan: ditch David, and make her new leech the focus of her storyline on the show.  MTV can't film David, but Jenelle will talk about how stressed she is over the divorce, dude, and how she needs to get custody of Ensley, dude.  Despite saying this, Jenelle will dump Ensley and the rest of the kids with Barb so she can cavort on a Caribbean beach with New Leech, and wear a bunch of unflattering bikinis, hiked up her ever expanding ass.  When Barb yells at Jenelle for ditching the kids to hang out with her booooyyyfriiieeend, Jenelle will tell Barb to LEAVE HER ALOOOONNE!!!, and the codependency cesspool between mother and daughter will start churning, again.  By next spring, Jenelle and New Leech will be engaged, and Jenelle will sell the wedding pics to TMZ, or US Weekly.  In between all this, David will post scary shit on social media, and probably threaten to murder Jenelle, and New Leech.  He won't face any repercussions for any of it, but he will find a new victim partner, and Jenelle will bitch about what a drug-addled skank this new woman is, and how she doesn't want her to be around Ensley, when really, she will be more hung up on the fact that New Victim is younger and skinnier, than she is.  Oh, and the prefab will continue to slowly sink into the swamp, the dogs and the geese and the chickens will all die, Jenelle will bitch about having to deal with The Land and dividing everything up with David, and New Leech will just sit in the corner and tell Jenelle how amazing she is, because she is his meal ticket, now, and he doesn't want to rock the boat.  END SCENE.
