ShadowSixx July 5, 2014 Share July 5, 2014 (edited) And a major hate, and also a major UO: I despised Pacey Witter from Dawson's Creek. Despised. To the point where I can't really stand Joshua Jackson and his little scrunched up ferret face. Pacey was one of only three characters that kept me watching that show. If anyone I hated that Joey Potter bitch from Dawson's Creek what a self absorbed cynical little skank. Don't even get me started on that episode where she was "allegedly" mugged. Who talks to their mugger like that? When you're being mugged it's not the time to get all smart mouth. She should have been killed to spare me my misery. Also Dawson and his whiny ass and it didn't help that he looked way too old to be in high school in the early seasons. JVDB looks better now but his Dawson days were just a big ugh. I also hate Debra Barone, that shrieking shrew from Everybody Loves Raymond what an emotionally and physical abusive bitch. Also hate Robert Barone what a mopey, petty, twat. Manny from Modern Family I'm sorry but no kid needs to be telling Jay or Gloria how to live their love lives and point out their errors and he's too much of a know it all. Know it all characters are just beyond annoying and irritating. It's like he doesn't fit in with the rest of the family. The new Vivian Banks from Fresh Prince of Bel Air ugh she was one of the worst recasts for that show. She was no longer the smart aunt that liked to have fun. She turned into the typical shrewish snobby judgmental housewife that got upset over every little thing Phil did or said. Susan Mayer-Delfino from Desperate Housewives oooh how much I hated this tired heifer. Selfish, all about Susan and I seen exactly why Edie Britt didn't like her. Especially in the final season where she painted the crime they all committed and all the housewives decided to get mad at Bree and not Susan who was acting all stupid and committing crimes all over the neighborhood so she can get arrested. Then before that she was involved in softcore porn and meddling all up in Karl and Edie's relationship and mad at Bree for dating Karl. Got all stupid when Katherine replaced the painting that she painted and told Mike which lead to an argument between Mike and Katherine. Also when Mike left Katherine for Susan, Susan acted like she was injured party and Katherine was in the wrong. Bitch you just took her man. Edited July 5, 2014 by ShadowSixx 1 Link to comment

Wiendish Fitch July 7, 2014 Share July 7, 2014 I used to love Veronica Mars, but ever since seeing the movie, I finally see her for what she really is: a paper tiger who doesn't know her own mind any better than a classic Disney Princess. She also has fucked-up priorities and standards, and forgives people she ought to hate, and despises people who aren't worth her trouble. For instance, why is she now BFFs with attempted rapist Dick Casablancas, the man who flopped her unconscious body around and who instructed his little brother to have sex with, but Madison Sinclair, whose worst offense is defacing Veronica's car (by the way, didn't everyone's favorite Woobie Logan try to smash Veronica's car to oblivion?). I just want to smack her. Mac and Wallace are way too good for her. I also hate Dick Casablancas, because he's a smarmy, self-indulgent attempted rapist. Rob Thomas wants us to love him, but I refuse. Link to comment
Sweet Tee July 7, 2014 Share July 7, 2014 Allison Cameron I don't think I've ever had such an intense, visceral, nope reaction to a character before or since. All I know is this sour, self-righteous, self-important, egotistical (no matter what you say, House, I know you like me) nosy brat got on my last nerve. Ugh, if she wasn't whining about ethics or judging the hell out of people, she was pining after House and insisting that she knew his feelings better than he did. That she had the nerve to tell a man who just found out his wife had been cheating on him that he shouldn't leave her because she loves him (and she would know this how, exactly?). That she had the nerve to chew Wilson out for making a deal with Tritter because she didn't believe his motives were pure (again, how would she know?). That she freely and joyfully told her co-workers that she was allowed to sexually harrass her boss (where's your ethics now?). That she told House she wanted to be taken seriously as a professional right before asking him if he liked her like she was in 5th grade and generally spent all of season 1 acting a like a child with her first crush, all of it just drove me up the wall. I remember one episode where a patient ended up choking her and I may or may not have been chanting 'finish her!' at the screen. I like Jennifer Morrison a lot and I thought it was unfair that she was fired, but that chracter was the worst. My hatred of her did ease up a little once she went blonde. Though, I don't know if that's because the writing for her actually improved or because her screentime was cut way down. 5 Link to comment
Pollock July 7, 2014 Share July 7, 2014 Not that I hate them but I could do without them (or for them to be best written) in a show : As previously mentionned, Dawson from Chicago Fire and Laurel from Arrow. Please go or don't be so entitled. Chloe O'Brien from 24. I can't believe they chose her of all people to be the only female character staying in every freaking season. Why ? Oh why ? Redeeming quality : she's so stupid, when I see her, I laugh. Her persona in the last season is so ridiculous I can't stop when I see her on screen. Rachel Zane from Suits. I don't care about you. I don't care about your aborted career. I don't care about your daddy issues. I don't care about your boyfriend, your ex boyfriend, your futur boyfriend. I don't care that you've got your career back. Please leave the firm and go flip burgers 12h/24 to see a real reason to complain about your life. John Kennish from Switched at Birth. Judgemental ignorant asshole. For the same reason, here's hoping that dealing with Zeek Braverman's death will be the link for the final season of Parenthood. Molly from Mike and Molly. TPTB worked really hard to assassinate her character. Guess what ? It worked. Sam Winchester from Supernatural. Stop whining. While doing so, stop ruining the life of the only person on earth who doesn't want you dead. Try being useful instead, I'm pretty sure you will feel better about yourself and your line of work. Norma Bates from Bates Motel : same as for Sam. I don't know when whining became an acceptable communication tool for grown-ups. And of course, the fact that she's batshit crazy but not in a fun way. Every character ever played by Marg Helgenberger and Natalie Zea. But I guess it's not the character fault in that case ! Never understood why the first had a career and the love for the second one. ShadowSixx July 7, 2014 Share July 7, 2014 I would like to add Elena Gilbert from The Vampire Diaries to the list. She's a completely selfish, self-centered asshole. The season finale sealed the deal on this character. It's always about her, Damon and Stefan make everything about her, she's always getting kidnapped and the other characters basically have to risk their lives to save her. In the finale Damon was sacrificing himself to bring a lot of people back to life and told this little bitch to respect his decision and doesn't want her going with him. You think she respected it? Hell naw, she decided to go with him and told him to respect her decision. Nevermind that going back to the other side would cause more strain and pain on Bonnie and could possibly kill her, her alleged "friend". Damon would have made it back if he didn't have to worry about where this bitch is or whether or not she made it to Bonnie in time. What really kills me about this bitch is how she doesn't want to talk about stuff because it's too much for HER, like the time she tried to kill Caroline and didn't want to talk about it because it's too much for her. Well Caroline has every right to want to talk about it but because poor wittle Elena isn't up for it, you know it can't be talked about. There was the time that Bonnie was dead and didn't answer Elena's texts and emails and Elena couldn't be bothered to deal with it until she needed Bonnie for her own selfish needs in curing Stefan's amnesia. Tried helping Stefan with his amnesia by talking about all of HER important moments and not Stefan's important moments. It's like she must have every guy in Mystic Falls worship the ground she walks on. Zack Morris from Saved by the Bell what a creepazoid and a bastard. Kept a cardboard cutout of Kelly without her knowing about it, made everybody believe that Slater had a terminal illness, brainwashed a whole bunch of girls through subliminal messaging, gave out all the "pretty" girls at schools phone numbers out on a video yearbook, treated Screech like shit, and kissed Screech's lifelong crush Lisa and started a relationship with her. Wasn't it amazing how someone who has had piss poor grades was able to be on yearbook staff, student council, school radio, run for class president, glee club, basketball team, track team, football team, ROTC, like really. In my school years you had to keep a certain grade point average to be a part of any clubs and after school programs & sports. 2 Link to comment

In my school years you had to keep a certain grade point average to be a part of any clubs and after school programs & sports. I rewatched some of "Saved by the Bell" last year. I had watched it as a kid when it was on air and it really has not held up for several reasons. The biggest one is that Zack is a horrible person. Even as a kid, I thought him making Screech disguise himself as a girl and taking covert photos of the girls' swim team was wrong. Now, I'm just really weirded out by especially since the girls were written to react that it was fine once they knew they would be featured in a profit making (for Zack) calendar. Argh. I'm glad that show is off the air because Zack got away with disrespecting his friends and just about everyone. 2 Link to comment
ShadowSixx July 7, 2014 Share July 7, 2014 Not only was that weird but what exactly are Lisa, Kelly, and Jesse doing in swim class, cause they're striking model poses in classes based off them cardboard cutouts of them and looking right at the camera. So they had to know a camera was there. It was stupid for them to be outraged only to forget about being sneaked up on and have their photos taken and placed in a calendar only to change their minds because a modeling scout ran on them. He's the reason I had to give up that show in the first place, although it was partly my fault because I didn't learn my lesson after BTVS' glorification if Spike, another asshole that's only different from Damon because he's blond and doesn't have crazy eyes. ShadowSixx July 8, 2014 Share July 8, 2014 I know a lot of people don't like Damon, I may be one of the few, (I tend to like the bad people more lol) as I do like Klaus in The Originals as well. I can't remember if Bonnie knew that Elena was going with Damon which I highly doubt Bonnie did know what Elena was planning. Damon can be very entertaining when he's away from that Elena bitch like his relationship with Enzo and he was broken up from the bitch. Link to comment

FurryFury July 12, 2014 Share July 12, 2014 The Vampire Diaries talk reminded me of another character I hate, and I hated him so much I had to stop watching the show (of course, he was hardly the only problem at that point): Klaus. What an absolute joke! All throughout season 2, he is mentioned as the most powerful being in the world, full stop. A 1000-years old vampire/werewolf hybrid, a villain so evil and dangerous the other villain, Katherine, was deathly afraid of him and spent centuries in hiding from him. In the finale, he's introduced and promptly kills the heroine's aunt in a magic ritual (plus, some other unimportant characters, because on that show, anyone not connected to Elena is unimportant). Then, he becomes a regular... and everything falls apart. Despite being a 1000 years old, he's a whiny, petulant manchild who has a sudden and completely unexplained attraction to the said heroine's best friend. He draws ponies for her and tries to sweet-talk her. He kills her boyfriend and turns him into a vampire hybrid, and then makes him try to kill her, so he, Klaus, can save her. He forces one of the heroes of the show (for a given value of heroism, of course - everyone on TVD is an unrepentant murderer) to help him on a killing spree blackmailing him with his brother's life. He constantly physically and emotionally abuses his family, yet claims to love them. And the only excuse to all of that is that his father (who wasn't really his father) didn't love him. Really?! Of course, the fangirls swoon and don't care he's an asshole. Thing is, I can understand people who loved, say, Spike. I mean, aside from the horrible Spuffy romance, he was a pretty OK character. Early on Buffy and then on Angel, he was actually really awesome. But Klaus? Really? What's there to like? 1 Link to comment
scarynikki12 July 12, 2014 Share July 12, 2014 then makes him try to kill her, so he, Klaus, can save her. Don't forget the part where Klaus was then baffled that Caro didn't immediately fall to her feet in gratitude, both times it happened. I think a big part of why Klaus and Klaus/Caroline have any fans is because so many still view her as the annoying Cordelia-lite antagonist to Elena from season 1. Elena didn't like her then, so the audience wasn't supposed to like her. That's why we saw Damon's rape and abuse get brushed off and why there's little objection to Klaus' obsession with her. On some level the viewers think she deserves all of this mistreatment. Notice how her relationship with Tyler, which does have its fans, wasn't nearly as popular. Tyler spends 99% of his time seeing Caro as a person, respecting her and treating her well, and is correctly portrayed as in the wrong when he fucks up. He also doesn't prioritize Elena over everyone else so it's, frankly, a miracle that he hasn't died a gruesome death already. And, along those lines, Tyler is viewed in the same light as Caro: he "deserves" the shit that's been heaped upon him because he wasn't a good guy (aka a Salvatore) in season 1. So, his enslavement to Klaus, being exiled under threat of death, and Klaus slaughtering his mother are seen as his just desserts rather than horrific events that prove how big of a monster Klaus truly is. I agree that the show has really dropped the ball on Klaus but only because they ignore his monstrous acts in favor of pony drawings. I'm so glad he's off the show and I don't have to suffer through his ManPain every week. I was getting an ulcer having to witness the Three Woobies (Klaus, Damon, Stefan) so this is better for my health. Two I can handle. Link to comment
Rick Kitchen July 15, 2014 Share July 15, 2014 And I don’t know where else to say this but this thing really bugs: it’s not the characters that are the problem so much it’s their names. Some shows’ writers simply cannot seem to let some names go, I want to buy them a big book of baby names since they seem so limited in their choices. I mean, the characters are fictional, it’s not like these people just happened to have these names and get thrown together by life. Writers did this. So on StarGate we have two Jonases, a Jonah, and a Jonathan. Why? And on JAG we have four Sarahs. Grandma, a plane, the co-star, and a baby. Seriously, why???? It’s not cute. It’s aggravating. If any TV writers are reading this, please – invest some effort in names. Thank you. Days of Our Lives recognized they had this problem when they had a character named Jack and his son, Jack Junior, and Jack's nephew Jackson, whose name had been bandied about for years before there was ever an actor associated with the name. So when they actually cast the role, they decided that Jackson would be called Sonny. Link to comment
Mulva July 28, 2014 Share July 28, 2014 I loathe Dean Winchester on Supernatural. He started out as a smug, womanizing, trigger-happy, anti-intellectual jerk, and has gone downhill ever since. He's hypocritical, verbally and physically abusive towards his brother, never accepts real responsibility for his actions, wallows in self-pity and generally acts like an A$$hole. What makes it worse, is that he's the designated woobie and all of his failings are either unnoticed or excused. 2 Link to comment

There's a fine line between upholding the law and becoming an all-out Knight Templar, Mr. McCoy. I've said on the late, lamented TWoP forum that I hate Xander from Buffy and, given what others have said, I'm in good company. I hate to say this, but I don't much care for Snow White and Prince Charming on Once Upon A Time. I feel bad about it because I like Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas, but I just don't find them interesting. I wish they'd focus more on interesting characters like Mulan and Aurora and Robin Hood. They should have stuck Henry in Neverland, also. I don't much care for anyone on Under the Dome except Barbie because he's a super-hottie. Also, I don't much care for anyone on NCIS except Duckie because David McCallum. Gibbs and DiNozzo can walk the plank for all I care. In fact, I hope they do in the series finale! Why was Lettie Mae from True Blood created? To sympathize with Tara? If anything, it made me dislike her more. I don't like Rick from The Walking Dead. I know he's the main character, but a lot of times his leadership (or lack there-of) has gotten people killed. Plus he pales in comparison to Daryl and Michonne. Hell, he pales in comparison to Clementine from the Telltale games. My mom and I agree that Designing Women became shit when they got rid of Delta Burke and Jean Smart quit and they brought in Jan Hooks' insufferable Carlene and whatever character Julia Duffy played. Elmo, Barney, The Teletubbies, and Caillou are everything that's wrong with children's television these days. Caillou especially. My 3-year old nephew loves it - I, my parents, my sisters, and my brother-in-law find it to be the most vapid and mindless things ever created. Yes, even worse than the Kardashians and The Real Housewives! Well, that's all I can think off now. Maybe I'll remember more down the line. Edited August 9, 2014 by bmoore4026 1 Link to comment
DiamondDoll August 10, 2014 Share August 10, 2014 Jason Stackhouse from True Blood. I haaaaaatttttteeeeee him. He's got the IQ of a house plant and has spent his whole life thinking with this dick. He has no loyalty to anyone (aside from little Jason), after what he did to his supposed best friend Hoyt, someone should have neutered him. He's been making one stupid choice after the other and he's supposed to be someone we should root for? Bitch please, I need someone to vaporize him stat! 1 Link to comment
Anna Yolei August 11, 2014 Share August 11, 2014 I don't hate Jason, but that's more to do with the actor having an amazing ability to rise above the material given to him. But the character on paper is either more selfish than even his special snowflake sister or dumb as a brick or both. That last episode....sigh. 1 Link to comment
RubyWoo72 August 11, 2014 Share August 11, 2014 There's a show on HBO called Jonah from Tonga, and even though it's only 2 episodes in, I hate Jonah's character. And I can't stand the actor who plays him because he does it IN BROWNFACE. I get that it's supposed to be a satire and all, but damn. Really? Brownface in 2014? Unfunny. 5 Link to comment
Wiendish Fitch August 13, 2014 Share August 13, 2014 (edited) Honourable mention has to go to Theon Greyjoy from Game of Thrones. Disloyal little punk. Right from the beginning with his attitude toward Jon and then the Direwolves. As far as I am concerned, he deserved everything he got from Ramsay. Hell yeah. No offense to Alfie Allen (who's a good actor), but I am so sick of Theon "Reek" Greyjoy I could scream. I feel as though the writers are trying to frame him as sympathetic. Um, no. Not happening. Theon is a traitorous, backstabbing, opportunistic, short-sighted human insect who murdered children. No, the fact that he murdered the wrong children doesn't erase the fact that he murdered children!! I hate how they've swept that particular sin under the rug (come to think of it, the GoT writers have doing that a lot lately; Jaime's rape of Cersei, anyone? ) I don't care how sick and twisted Ramsay is, I don't care how horrific the torture is, I don't care how much he's destroyed Theon's sanity, that doesn't excuse Theon's past deeds!! I am never, ever going to sympathize with that vile little worm, not now, not ever! Edited August 13, 2014 by Wiendish Fitch 3 Link to comment

I think she just sets a bad example for females.) Becky (once she started dating Mark she became such a *itch) - Roseanne Mark - Roseanne Kelly Taylor - 90210 Sidney - Melrose Place 2 Link to comment

I honestly stopped watching the show around when he started making moves on Jessica. While that wasn't the main reason it didn't help. I agree he was portrayed way to dumb in the writing, and it's not all that surprising to read that they never changed it in the past few seasons. Link to comment
CoderLady August 15, 2014 Share August 15, 2014 He actually has changed over time. Although he can be counted on to do or say the most hilariously stupid things in the world, since he became a sheriff's deputy he's been the savior of many a bad situation and is probably the bravest and luckiest person in the True Blood universe. I can see how he can be maximally annoying, but he's the character I'm going to miss the most (next to Bill, but that's another story) when the show ends. 1 Link to comment
kathyk24 August 21, 2014 Share August 21, 2014 I hate Dave Hester on Storage Wars he's a chauvinist. I was so happy when Laura the auctioneer kicked out for being rude to her. I think Reid is the most boring character on Criminal Minds. I don't think he's changed since the series started and his romance with Maeve was stupid. 3 Link to comment
andromeda331 August 21, 2014 Share August 21, 2014 Brennan on Bones basically everything about her. She thinks she's so smart when she's really stupid, nearly everything that comes out of her month from her theories to the stuff she says to people that if she's suppose to be smart she'd know not to say, but never seems to understand what she did or said that was wrong. I know its suppose to come of as socially awkward but to me she comes off as a stupid. I now hate Penny on the Big Bang Theory, she use to be fun and nice. Now she's just a mean, drunk bitch who mooches off everyone, and treats her boyfriend like crap. 2 Link to comment
desperatelibrarian September 4, 2014 Share September 4, 2014 Kennedy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Just an aggressive, annoying consolation prize for Willow. Amy Farrah Fowler from The Big Bang Theory: I know most people love her and think she's hilarious, but I don't find her very appealing in terms of looks and personality, or lack thereof. She had her moments though. Connor from Angel: His brooding and subplot with Cordelia was a major reason why S4 was the weakest. But I did find him more tolerable in S5. Shaw from Person of Interest: I've been liking this show, but I cannot believe they made her a main cast member! I hate it when shows have women who don't have any power to make themselves interesting whether it's looks, acting, personality, or story arcs. Amy Acker's portrayal of Root may be strange, but I think she delivers a better performance and she's the main reason why I started watching the show. (I've loved her in Joss Whedon's work.) My only hope with Shaw will be that she won't be a bore for long as well as overshadow the rest of the cast. 1 Link to comment

She had her moments though. I totally agree. I can't stand Amy. I don't find her funny and I find her acting very reaching. I guess I mean by that, that I don't find her natural. Penny may be a ditz, but the actress has great comedic timing. Same with Bernadette. I just don't get that with Amy. 1 Link to comment
