My mom had gastric bypass 13 years ago. The weight dropped off quickly but she was ultimately unable to make the lifestyle changes that were necessary for her to keep it off. It's a difficult surgery to qualify for and recover from and you have to be dedicated. 

Of course, if Angela applies the same dedication and fervor that she does in henpecking Michael and them wimen..

Since Atlanta based bariatric surgeon Dr. Proctor has performed weight loss surgery on at least 3 other TLC program participants, I’ll bet he’s the doctor Angela is going to! 

Unfortunately, I'm afraid Dr. Proctor may be too patient and nice to Angela. I want Dr. Now to read her the riot act.

The 2nd & 3rd show Angela's weight loss and her cake bribe, but any weight loss isn't really visible in the 1st photo.  Also, if that's JoJo in the 1st photo, she looks taller than she did on the show.  (I apologize if I'm not allowed to repost photos.  I prefer to read the comments without detouring to links.)

I hope she is excersizing along with her weightloss program otherwise she will look like a melted candle when she is done losing weight!  Why would her family give her a cake if she is trying to lose weight, if she has had lapband or gastric bypass she will not be able to eat that without getting sick.

You know, out of the many things Angela did that were gross, the worst, to me, was getting all those kids excited for "Papa Mike" especially the little boy who needs a male figure in his life.  (Yes, needs, not wants) and chances are Michael will never get here.  Those kids will remember this for a long time.

The man who owned the place where he worked is Angela's good friend and the man she was arrested for DUI with, twice. Dougie tried to get some YouTube channel spinoff but the show wasn't interested and it fell apart shortly after he got into a physical altercation, live on camera, with Scottie (the child molester)'s husband. Since it's making the rounds I thought I'd add it. Angela hasn't made a comment yet, not that I would expect her to, but people keep tagging her so she may.

HAZELHURST, Ga. (WALB) - Four people have been arrested following a homicide in Hazelhurst, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) Douglas Regional Office.

The GBI said Kegan B. Bennett, 39, Denver L. Wooten, 18, and Verlyttia Ivory, 32, all of Hazlehurst, were arrested Tuesday for felony murder, home invasion, and armed robbery. Ivory was also charged with cruelty to children in the second degree.

An arrest warrant was issued for Douglas L. Wooten, 39, of Hazlehurst, for felony murder, home invasion, armed robbery, and cruelty to children in the second degree, according to a GBI press release. He turned himself in Thursday and was booked into the Jeff Davis County Jail.

All of these charges stem from the Jan. 4 shooting death of Marcos Ramirez, 54, the GBI reported.

According to the GBI, the Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Office responded to Mark Hall Drive around 8:45 Monday evening regarding a call of someone having been shot.

When deputies arrived, the GBI said they found Ramirez dead from gunshot wounds.

The press release says Ramirez’s body will be taken to the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.

And yet this show continually rewards her for her actions and decisions.  In my opinion she has consistently shown an abuser mentality towards Michael yet she is "beloved" by the show, many fans, and several cast mates.  I have never liked her and don't understand her appeal.

I wish I could love this comment more than once. This is exactly how I feel. She physically assaulted Avery and her mother during the tell all (it was edited out but well documented and confirmed by multiple cast members). When Rebecca stepped and and told her to stop she tried to pick a fight with Rebecca who, to her credit, chose not to engage. Personally I would have loved to see Rebecca mop the floor with her as violence is the only language that bully seems to understand. I now have a soft spot for Rebecca as she was one of the only people to stand up to her.

I'd rather see Michael with that loony chick Stephanie. Michael can settle in nicely in Michigan (I think that's where she's from). It would be easy for him to fix her drinks, get her pills, put her hair into ponytails. Stephanie can buy Michael all the watches he wants.

As someone who had gastric bypass but has never been a smoker, I can see how she feels this surgery saved her life but her smoking would have/still will take her down.  I assume a surgeon would not have done a surgery on a smoker but I have a hunch she will be grabbing those heaters real quick.

David Poor also had weight loss surgery.  Honestly, it's a great option but unless you are committed you will gain the weight back.  The woman lives off of cake, fried foods and high carb foods and sugary drinks.  She smokes which doesn't help her health and probably doesn't exercise.

Someone posted this on Reddit two days ago.  Very interesting (and predictable).

Angela has flown to LA four times over the end of 2020 and beginning of 2021. The first two times were proper consultations with these very famous, very credible doctors. They are part of manager Gina Rodriguez’ team of makeover specialists: Dr. Obeng, Dr. Kashani, and of course celebrity trainer Natasha Fett. On one of the trips she was photographed hanging out with Jojo Siwa, at her house.

The third time was what we saw on the show but, of course, they make it SEEM like she “just got there” and “knew nothing beforehand”. She had stopped smoking long before. She knew all the procedures that they were going to do. They even had told her that they suspected they might have to repair some herniated tissue, which they found two of when they were in (so five total surgical procedures were done during her six hours of anesthesia). This was all/will be (this next week) misrepresented on the show. More Frauding by TLC™️.

The fourth time, March 29, was when Angela flew to LA to attend Dr. Michael K Obeng’s private birthday party, which was filmed and will be shown on the show. They are going to play up a “love triangle jealousy thing” with Michael Ilesamni.
