Have they gone down until a week before the game before? I know they have made cuts really late but I recall that the cuts were maybe ones that hadn’t been so obvious from the beginning. Usually girls who simply can’t do the entrance, if I remember correctly.

I cant think of many (any) girls that were shown to be warned 3 or 4 times and from early in the season that made it to the end only to be cut last. I’ll have to try to remember.

I definitely wouldn’t post a pic like the one Dayton did even if I had her amazing body, but whatever. I just can’t get upset with these girls posting ‘barely there’ photos on their social media accounts after either being DCCs or wanting to be one (Im including Kalyssa in that as well; her pics are raunchy, but I have no moral objection to them, and even if I did, it’s not my body or my life). These are women who are obviously comfortable dancing in front of thousands of people in a tenny tiny uniform. All (other than Lauren) who go on the swimsuit shoot pose in bikinis, sometimes on all 4s or with their bikini straps hanging down. If you’re into modesty, the DCCs probably isn’t your thing, and that’s fine. I actually find the “we’re just some wholesome, little All-American sweethearts” thing to be more eye-roll worthy.

I do agree though that the overall reaction would be different if it wasn’t Dayton but another girl who had posted the picture.

Oh anyone could post a photo like that with a body like that and I would like it! Lol I don't care who they are. I appreciate a good looking woman and I don't mind those kinds of pictures. I know some people do but I don't care.

Dayton and VKs instagrams are so different from each other.  Dayton seems like a very well rounded girl who doesn’t just post photos or videos of DCC stuff.  The picture she posted is no different than what other girls her age post.  It’s also no different than the video VK has posted from awhile back in short dance shorts and a sports bra.  It’s being videotaped from behind and her shorts are riding up as she is shaking it.  It’s also not the thong bathing suits from the DCC swim show.  Dayton looks like she is having a great time and congrats to her for being the lead in a couple shows!  How exciting.  

One thing that would bother me and you can see it in all of VKs dance videos.  VK doesn’t know how to stay in her area when she dances.  She is all over the place and other girls have to move to accommodate her, or not to be ran over by her.  She’s out of control with her movements.  She needs to learn how to stay in her space.  It would drive me crazy if I had to dance next to her.  VK could use a Couple years to find herself as a person, get a grip on her weight in a healthy way, mature, learn how to speak and learn how to control her movements.  

Lol while I’m ranting what is with the VK picture with bubbles and smashing a cake in her mouth.  It’s like her parents want her to be a child.  I got pictures of my one year old doing that, lol I wouldn’t let my 17 year old do that.  It seems like her life is one big photo shoot.  It’s not normal for a kid.  I guess at 18 I was on my own, going to school, supporting myself and working.  I would want my kids to be able to work hard and thrive.  Not spoil them and let them think that they are entitled anything.  

There have been plenty of mature 18 year olds who have gone through training camp.  Being 18 is not an excuse to be immature.  It’s parents preparing their children to be an adult.

But some day, in theory, you might meet people who need to know your outside of your body. An employer. Your in laws. Your kid’s friend’s mom. 

 

Nobody is going to go back and compare her to Kalyssa. They are just going to think “oh, that is a woman who puts her almost bare ass on the internet.” Which by the way is FINE — your choice, you do you, and above all your right and prerogative.

But ass is ass on the internet — be it Dayton’s shot, a cowboys calendar, or Kalyssa.

I thought most of the DCC calendar photos we saw were tasteless, trashy and just short of porno.  I was aghast a few weeks ago when every girl who got a cover shot had to state what an "honor" it was.  Dayton's photo, by comparison, I found kinda cute.  Youth is wasted on the young..........

I agree with you.  Dayton is a beautiful girl and the bikini shot was hardly tasteless.  Ah to be young again!!  I don't know what all the fuss is about!!!   I've seen more skin in bent over booty shots of the DCC girls in uniform on the field.

So, VK is 18 years old, been dancing most of her life and I'm assuming with different teachers.  My question is for all of you dance experts on our forum, and I apologize if we did discuss this before - she doesn't stay in her space, would that have been addressed in a dance class?  Should that have been addressed?  I'm thinking safety.  I'm thinking that if I'm the dancer next to her, I would be worried I'd get hit.  I'm surprised it wasn't addressed in TC because other girls have been talked to about lines, following a leader, etc, but I guess by now, I shouldn't be surprised.

Dayton seems like a very down to earth, fun, person...and this pic kind of send a message that maybe she wouldn't to send. That said, the pic of Savannah acting like she's bulling down her bikini is about on the same level and that was ok with the powers that be at DCC. To me Dayton is just getting some adult freedom and showing off her independence. She might look back one day and be like "why did I post taht ass pic" and she might say "dang my ass looked good" lol. She's a grown woman and does what she wants lol. Pic if her proof.

Plenty of people have complained about some of those poses/suits being trashy as well. And honestly, if someone decided to stage their own DCC-style all-fours prune-face bikini shoot and post it on Instagram, I'd roll my eyes at that too.

yes! I noticed this as well...they don't sit near each other in any of the shots that I recall..I'd have to go back and look and "pink and blue" to see if they hang together. It’s really none of K&J business what Dayton does. I personally think some of the calendar photos are way to revealing. Dayton is a beautiful girl and since she was in Miami, she probably had more clothes on than most people.

(1) totally agree that K&J have no business with what Dayton does or doesn't do.  Dayton has already said she does not plan on trying out again.

Hmmm....Rachel, Briana, Cianna. All three very down to earth, genuine. I had been talking with Cianna for the past two and 1/2 years, trying to get her to audition. I’m glad she finally made it to Texas.

I don't think anyone's jealous of Dayton's Instagram buttcheeks, any more than they would be if Jenna posted this exact same picture and everyone commented on how "thirsty" she is.

We just have different perspectives on what's tacky, that's all. And while I don't really expect my perspective to line up with women whose lifelong dream is to shake their T&A for leering football fans, I'm certainly not going to stop snarking about it.

I think it’s the angle not the amount of skin showing.  A shot level with her ass - even her bare ass - would be less suggestive than this particular picture IMHO.
