My huge family is joint Lutheran and Church of Sweden. We were all raised in the faith and taught the importance, the supremacy, of the Golden Rule, service to others, openness of heart and mind. I'm the oldest @ 32 of 8 siblings. Our parents and grams gave us our fundamental beliefs and morals, then trusted us to live our lives with moral purpose and dedication. The elder Duggars dont trust their kids. Why is that? Do they not trust THEMSELVES? They created this toxic atmosphere that ultimately creates a Josh. Now he has a wife and four kids. Dental work, holding a baby, weight, food placement, clothing, friends, etc.. etc.. sigh and etc.. All things that have nothing to do with their beliefs are dissected and frothed over like rabid dogs at a kitten farm. For pages and pages of derps.. What the hell do people expect to happen to children raised the way they were? We open our arms to ahemm.. well.. other people not so accepted by society and are the loudest in saying how they deserve a chance, and look at where they came from.. Josh is a prick, for sure. I still blame his parents. Dollars to fucking doughnuts if it were a a young man or woman raised just as fucked up, but under a different umm belief system. The reactions would be much different. Josh and his horrible family were the ones who cast stones, using their TV show and the visibility that comes with it to condemn and vilify entire groups of innocent people. They were the ones who attacked those who were different. I refuse to feel bad about pointing and laughing at their downfall, they did it to themselves; they earned it. 26 Link to comment
