Do Jeremy and Jinger really have such lame conversations? If they're normal, they talk about what they're going to have for dinner, whether or not trash pickup is a day later this week, and if that gurgling sound in the bathroom means the toilet is leaking.

So annoying.

She’s hit the awkward stage surprisingly early. (I can say this because I was typically adorable until age three, then was all teeth and ears for, oh, twelve years or so.)
Those Duggar genes don’t mess around.

This little one recently looks pale and lifeless.  Going blond and never smiling is sad.

If they think life is hard now and they had no time to be truly present with each other, they're not going to adjust well to normal life. It may not happen in the next year, or even five, but eventually the gravy train WILL end and he/she/they will have to work a real job with a schedule to keep.

If he truly desires to be a minister, a genuine one who serves his congregation, he'll have to be available a lot. Hospital visits, funerals, counseling, weddings, community outreach/service, etc are just some of the expectations of a pastor with a true heart for ministry. It doesn't seem to me that's what Jeremy wants; he seems more like the Kenneth Copeland type who just spouts off Bible verses all with the goal of benefiting from it for himself, for both money and fame. He doesn't care about serving people; he wants to know what THEY can do for HIM.

Those to me are some of the most despicable types of people. I'd respect Jeremy more if he just wanted to do the motivational speaker route, which oftentimes is very similar to the Copeland-type preachers, just without dragging Jesus into it.

Oh I don’t know. Right after they married, Jill was cuddling on Derek’s lap looking rather satisfied. Not everyone is as performative as Jessa and Jeremy.

One thing I have seared into my memory is Jill and Derick's wedding day, when they were cutting the cake and she sucked frosting off his fingers. That girl was horny, and considering her unbridled enthusiasm for absolutely every thing, I have a feeling she never fakes her "YAY!"s

I think Jeremy's side is the culprit this time. That child looks like her paternal grandmother. She's a reasonably attractive  woman, but that face on a toddler...oof.

Damn Jeremy looks like he was rode hard and put up wet.

Sure does. And he sounds like William F. Buckley, only without having read any books and with a mediocre IQ.

(For some reason, I think he probably believes he looks sexy in that picture....)

From that picture, I do believe Jeremy really is sheltering in place. He needs a haircut. Maybe Jinger needs to watch Jessa's how to on hair cutting on youtube. 💇‍♂️

Jeremy, you don't care one iota what I have been doing while in lockdown now do you?

Be truthful here. He's 'asking' so he has hits on his account. Merely for the $$$. Please take a seat and shut up. Maybe you'll learn something.

I wonder if what we see with Jer isn't the growing desperation of lost hope.

I think he used to be super-confident and probably pretty calmly confident about what a great future he'd have. But that confidence has really gotten kicked out of him over time.....And he's responding by turning into an increasingly desperate try-hard with Bill Buckley overtones .

Here he is in college -- To me he comes across as quite confident here. There's a side of cockiness, but not to a huge degree, seems to me. But the next years will wear the confidence down. And the cockiness and other pathetic stuff he's got now may just be his (not helpful) way of getting back the assuredness he once felt??

(Starting out with high confidence in your high hopes is pretty dangerous to your long-term equilibrium, probably.....Except for the (very rare) people who easily live up to their early visions.....)

Oh whatever, I highly doubt that she would have been socializing with any other kids any way if CoVID wasn't a problem.

Jermy is so phony.  I've never seen anyone so desperate to be relevant.

How much socializing does any 2 year old do who is not in daycare  do? Other than maybe a nursery at church, most kids in her place wouldn't be spending much time with other kids either.

Jeremy sure aged a lot. Whoever said in dog years is right. Also why so greasy looking? why aging so fast he does not work so what’s the cause?

Parting hair like David Muir.  Actually crooked face and smile like him too. Maybe he needs to apply for work at ABC.

The real world will do that on it's own within 10 years.

I'm thinking the influencer flailing might be the equivalent of Mike Tyson punching them in the face over and over again. At least he's not bitten an ear off. Yet.

I think we're looking at the older version of Ben and his slow realization that marrying into the Duggar family was not going to catapult him into a great life. Ben looks like he has given up all hope of living his own life instead of the one his wife and father-in-law have forced on him. Jeremy will probably escape that fate, but he's not going to be the cool preacher who counsels celebrities and I think a teeny-tiny grain of his real future is starting to slowly sprout.

I kind of feel sorry for Ben because he was a horny teenager being sold a load of crap by both his parents and his in-laws. Jeremy is a self-impressed slacker with delusions of grandeur.

I doubt felicity was getting much socialization being dragged from restaurant to restaurant pre pandemic. But most normal SAHMS socialize their kids. Pre pandemic ( we are in IL which has been totally shut down since March),my 2 yo and I would go somewhere every day to play with other kids- library, museum, mommy+me class..ect. I actually think my 2 yo is more socialized than her daycare attending cousins- we see different people every day, where they see the same kids day in and day out.

But this is a Duggar- they've been isolated by choice since birth so I really doubt their pandemic life is all that  different from their regular day to day life

I bet Felicity enjoyed not being dragged around from loud restaurant to a loud coffee house. Every. single. day.

Millennial parents like to take their kids with them to places like coffee shops, restaurants and microbreweries.   It is not uncommon to see toddlers at these places, and some even have a kids area or toys.  Felicity could have been playing with other kids while her parents were out getting their pics for the Gram.

Jeremy the pseudo intellectual. He did cite when asked. Of course, it was a Reformist.

Who's the guy on the right of the picture? Oh....I thought the one of the left was Jer. Nvm....

Jeremy's proclamation that JB is a "fountain of goodness and love" is some next-level shit.

You've accurately named what JB is a fountain of, though. .... I guess he and Jer are pretty much alike, really.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but someone commented to Jinger that they hope Jeremy has helped Jinger to heal, just as her BIL has helped her sister!  I’m trying to figure out if that’s genuine or a sly dig at the family’s ostracizing of Jill.
