That season went quickly for me. Please let Ziggy (I'm leaving it. My Spellcheck doesn't her either.) and Delores be gone. My ears bleed from one and I doze off on the other. It's weird too because Delores is very friendly with the Manzo and Co. Except for Dina don't care for Tre.

The show is not only stale because of Siggy and Dolores, but because they are building the show around Teresa who can't carry a show.  There are various issues with Teresa being the focal point including not being that bright, not being articulate and being a felon.  There isn't a lot of substance to her.  I do miss he Manzos being on the show because the cast was balanced then and everything worked because there was history with everyone.

Also, according to this story https://pagesix.com/2018/01/05/joe-gorgas-nj-restaurant-to-close/ the restaurant is supposedly closing because they're seeking a larger location.  They received a poor health inspection report last July and Teresa's involvement was limited to what was seen on television.

Teresa certainly proved your point last night on WWHL-not bright.

I am at a loss what money the partners would be giving the Gorgas-usually it goes into the business.  I think they are confused about owning a restaurant and licensing their name.  Virtually every food and beverage product Teresa has lent her name to has flopped,  Why would people want to buy the Gorga name for a restaurant?

I think that Joe in prison and the possibility of filming his release and perhaps deportation is enough to sway Andy to keep the franchise alive. The ratings will be huge. In the meantime they need to suck it up and find a couple of people so we aren't treated to another season of Melissa and Envy or the antics of Melania. Siggy quitting is no great loss. Margaret was a good addition. Danielle adds nothing and she's batshit.

I agree. I think this show will struggle along until Joe gets released. They will definitely want to film that, as well as any kind of legal proceedings. Imagine if he actually gets deported. I think Teresa will be on tv for awhile.

I did wonder about whether that was Photoshopped too. Teresa looks awful with the fake tan. Not only will it age her prematurely (as my SIL can illustrate), but it can make her start to look like Patricia Krentcil.

It's good that she found a constructive hobby, instead of buying stuff she can't afford. But now she just looks unhealthy.

Good point.  Although for some reason I was under the impression Italy is VERY strict about who they allow residency to.   Meaning Teresa who is a US citizen.  It is my understanding that Italy requires you to be fully employed to even reside on a visa.  Guess we will find out soon enough.  (I’d love to be deported to Italy lol! It’s probably the only way I’ll ever get to go there).

I could see Bravo following the family to Italy to capture it all. That would count as full-time employment, probably. Not sure what the kids would do, though. The older two would probably just stay in the US with family until college while the younger two would go to Italy with them. Hell, it would probably be a good experience for them.

Possibly. A conviction for murder or an aggravated felony (if the conviction was after November 29, 1990) are permanent bars to citizenship. An aggravated felony includes the crimes of rape, sexual abuse of a minor, drug trafficking, firearm trafficking, racketeering, running a prostitution business, child pornography, and fraud of $10,000 or more. Convictions for fraud or spending more than 6 months in jail or prison might result in a temporary bar from becoming a US citizen.

His conviction for license fraud means that government truly can't trust him to not try to obtain false documents and identification. I think the government will deport him and there's little to no chance that they'd ever let him apply for US citizenship.

One of the new ones, Jacqueline, lives in my town.  Kids are in the same grade. She was always trendy.  But you could tell when Bravo stepped in with the housewife makeover.  She was trendy and sleeked over.

All that aside, she is genuinely nice and friendly.  And smart.  I'm really curious to see how she interacts with some of these cast members.  I honestly can't see her having an ounce of patience for the stupidity and bullshit.

Oh god.  They all look atrocious.  WAY too much makeup.  They all look like they have black pits in their faces instead of eyes.  And what is it about Dolores' make up that always looks so horrible to me?  Is it because it's too dark and matte? Is it the nude lipstick?  Is it because it matches her hair?  I can never figure it out, but I cringe every time I see her.  And Melissa and her jumpsuit...honey, we can see the outline of your THONG.  If we can see your thong, which is supposed to, you know, eliminate ALL panty lines, then you need to go up a size.  Plus it's pulling around the hips.  Go up one size and have it altered.  You can afford the tailor.  

If you removed Jennifer's train and toned down Jackie's eye makeup, I'd say the newbies look the best
