My girlfriend and I today escaped from the house and went to Panera for lunch. The broccoli cheddar soup was hot and fresh and my ham and swiss sandwich tasted so good with it. What a treat!

She’s tall, but has a non fat face and relatively skinny legs. My guess is 715.

I hope that since she gained the weight as an adult, that it will be easier for her to lose it, and keep it off.   I hope she makes a total success of this program, because her daughter really needs her, and I really like her.   It could be that Leneatha thought she couldn't get pregnant, and carry to term because of her weight, and health issues. 

I really want those cookies she keeps ordering.     Fortunately, even though there are a ton of drive thrus around me, I am never good at drive thru.   The few times I used one, the people in front of me had an issue, and it took forever.  

Was it Teretha that used to be with the diabetes, and nutrition education program?

How does she drive a car with all that going on in the front and the back?  I like her and hope she succeeds.  The fact that she gets herself up and to work and home and takes care of her child is amazing.  She's saying all the right things, understands what going on.  Gosh I sure hope she makes it.

I say this as a very light skinned mix race woman >60 - there is a long standing history of color discrimination amongst blacks. My great aunts, who were fair skinned, often said that we should marry 'light' so that we would improve the race. This is just history and part of black culture. I admit that the first thing I noticed about her was how dark she is.

Knowing how very dark skinned people have been treated by others in the community, I am very glad to see dark models and people like Gabourey Sidibe be mainstream these days.
