Is that a tradition? I’ve never been to a bachelorette party the night before a wedding. They’ve all been months beforehand and usually involved a trip. The night before a wedding, there’s sometimes a rehearsal dinner or small gathering if a lot of people came in from of of town but definitely not strippers and getting trashed.

Brando stripping was cringey, first because of the audience at the party and second because JW has no moves. Maybe they should have given him some lessons or something because that was yikes

Good god, the next two weeks of ONE day are going to be insufferably slow. 

As to today:

- Wow, Spinelli truly is THAT asshole.  Greets "Fair Samantha" without a thought that there might be some tension there and then later goes on and on about how Carly/Jason were meant2be. 

- I think Carly's weepy sadness isn't because she has doubts about marrying Jason, it's because of the reason behind the wedding.  Even with Jason going in for that kiss (as if) last week, she still doesn't believe he's doing it for anything but business reasons.  Join the club, sis.

- Honestly, I know it's shitty how the vets usually gets stuffed in the closet, but really, Barbara Jean Spencer can stay there.  What a royal suck-up to her daughter she is.

- Find him, Jax.  Find him and haul him back by his undyed hair.  Make this end.

I've never seen it in real life but it seems to be a popular trope on TV.

That's all she's done for years, prop Carly whether it's to destroy the paper that Carly forged Nelle's signature on or take care of Cyrus' mother when Carly kidnapped her. I dread seeing Bobbie on screen.

So, if the wedding is "tomorrow" is "tonight" going to last for the next two weeks, or will "tomorrow morning before the wedding" last for the next two weeks?  

Remember when Valentin and Nina were getting married and Nik kicked in the door, holding a wet, unconscious Ava, stopping the wedding?  How much would I pay to see that, with Jax kicking in the door, carrying Sonny!!!

edited to add, and then dumping him at Jarly's feet!!  Maybe giving him a kick in the crotch for good  measure.

I guess this had to be the day before the wedding so Jax has time to fly to Nixon Falls and convince Sonny to come back to disrupt the ceremony. Should take no more than two weeks. Sigh.

ETA:  Wylie is probably with the Quartermaine nanny too since Willow and Michael are both "celebrating". That woman deserves a raise.

Well Joey and both of his guys were on the floor. I highly doubt Spinelli did all that. Lol the way they were talking, it seems like Michael and Jason also fought them.

I Have no problem with seeing a half naked beautiful man like Brandon, but that whole scene felt so fake and forced. And cheesy. More like what I'd expect to see on DOOL. That show is unapologetically super soapy and campy but that's not the vibe on GH. Just weird.

I think the writers think it's an inside joke, going back to the party where Milo was more or less forced to strip. Why they think seeing uncomfortable men taking their clothes off is funny beats me.

Jason gave Sam his attention for a whole 30 seconds before walking away from her. I guess that's more than when they were together. 

Spinelli is a stupid f*ck and hopefully the Novak's will off him for punching Joey. 

I'm getting a bad feeling that this wedding is gonna be a huge let down with not enough bodies and not the right bodies.

I didn't see Brando looking uncomfortable once he started stripping. Yes he was nervous beforehand about performing in front of Carly and other people he knew, but once the strip act started he seemed fine (although his dance moves were not). Same with Milo - the actor didn't convey any discomfort once he started stripping; rather he was enjoying the attention, and what he didn't enjoy was Kate (or rather, her alter) cornering him afterward while he was still half-naked and trying to seduce him, on the eve of her wedding to his mob boss.

Personally I thought it was a fun little scene, loved the comedic setup with Dante, and the pay-off, plus Brando looks great in his undies. Too bad it's probably just a one-off - unless they can arrange monthly bachelorette parties for the women of Port Charles. Or if they develop it into a male escort storyline (but who would be Brando's clients?) or have Sasha wrangle a modeling contract for him.

In all honesty, the lackluster, nothing end to the Millow/Chase story really zapped my interest in GH. We wasted so much time on that story for it to end with a huge, non-soapy whimper just like the custody trial with Nelle. It was so disappointing. I haven’t been watching lately because I have no faith that any of these stories will actually have satisfying endings worth the many months spent on them. I’m happy to be wrong and play catch up later though. 
 

So, Friday was the first full show I’ve seen in a couple of weeks, and I really enjoyed the scenes with Brando. They were cute to me! It was a fun, lighthearted moment and I enjoyed it. I like Sasha/Brando. 
 

I hated seeing Sam look sad at Jason when  he couldn’t possibly care less about her, but I thought her scenes with Dante worked for the first time for me! 
 

I don’t remember much else happening on Friday’s show honestly. Guess the Brando stuff is the only thing that stuck out to me. 😂

I didn’t think Brando was half bad. He didn’t dance as well Chase did at the Nurses Ball though. Both were cringeworthy nevertheless. I loved when Bobbi brought up the time Carly slept with her husband to Carly. Wait! She didn’t? Oops! My bad. LW & JZ have no chemistry and LW has played Carly for over 15 years now. So it’s even worse when JZ has to be all loving to her Carly. I feel nothing.

I think they've retconned Jason's relationship with Carly to be his relationship with Robin. Last week, Bobbie mentioned that it used to just be "Carly, Jason, and Michael" when Carly left town after Michael's birth, and Jason and Robin were the ones who had to figure out how to raise him.
