And Bronwyn is an asshole, but what she said about the benefits of public schools for kids with special needs is dead on and Gina reacted like an idiot with a huge chip on her shoulder.  I don't doubt for a second that if she won the lottery Gina would send her kid to the "bougiest private school" she could, even if they couldn't provide the services her kid needs.  She's such a wanna-be.  

Magnet, charter, or run of the mill public school, they are obligated to provide services to kids, and the level of resources are far beyond what virtually any private school could provide (if they would even take your special needs kid).

Gina is so uninformed that she does not know the basic fact that public schools are obligated to provide better support for special needs than a private school will. There was no valid reason for her to go off on Braunwyn, either then or when Braunwyn apologized (even though Gina was the one who made a scene). 

Vicki looked far better as Marie Antoinette than she does when she styles herself.

Tamra is trying desperately to keep the drama going with her runtelldat but is it really such a shock that some of these women don't like each other? I don't like any of them either.

It’s now official. I don’t like any of these ladies and have no interest in their stories. I might have had an ounce of sympathy for Gina if I didn’t feel that catching her child’s “ special need” well before she entered school & it became a bigger problem , was fortunate and not worth her over the top reaction to someone who I thought was trying to make her feel better about it.  She really seems like a whiner  & though I’m not a fan of Braunwynn either, I think she was just trying to help.

Tamra is just ugly, inside and out.  Though she does get some points for this episode- it really did look like the party theme and Vicki’s costume were designed to make her look foolish.

Gina is also the worst.  I hope Matt went straight from her bed to his mistress’ bed.  Or vice versa.  She needs to get over herself.

Loved Emily not wanting to leave the table...  because cake.  I am all about the cake.  I’ve even gone to the wedding of someone I barely knew, just for the cake.

Normally I find children annoying on these housewife shows, but I kinda like Brawny’s kids.  Rowan seems sweet, and for some reason I get a kick out the boy with the wild, curly hair.

SJC is also the home of Lauri Peterson and her Wallet. Bravo missed a perfect opportunity to make this episode one of the best ever by asking Lauri to join the tea party. Lol.

Not sure where the alliances stand in real time, but I sure hope that Kelly now knows who keeps talking about her when she's not there.  She blames it all on Vicki,  However, the bar/boyfriend fight stories were told to Vicki, not by her.  How these fools can't see Tamara's constant shit stirring is beyond me.

Gina is SO thrilled that she hooked up with Matt and she wants everyone to know it. Personally, I think it's pathetic. It's not about repairing their family. Maybe Matt's fling left him. Or maybe he just gets off on playing with her emotions. But if he wanted to repair their family, he would come over and see the kids - not be after late night booty calls. I mean, you do you, Gina. But be honest about it. 

That tea party was....wow. Embarrassing. Who thought it would be a grand idea to let Vicki be queen for even 5 minutes, let alone an entire day? If anything, this episode just showcased what a terrible person she is. I would NEVER want my friends to bow to me. The thought wouldn't even enter my mind. And if they made a spectacle out of me for my birthday, I would be so uncomfortable. Yet Vicki just reveled in it. 

And Tamra is back to her old tricks - subtly bring up a topic, let others pick it up and run with it, back away as if she had nothing to do with it. She dropped the bomb about Kelly and Brian - then had to leave the table, because she couldn't stomach others "talking smack about Kelly". I'm just LIVING for the previews next week. Braunwyn annoys me, but if she can rally everyone against Tamra? 

......Who am I kidding? It will never happen. 

As for the fight between Gina and Braunwyn - I have no dog in this fight. I don't like either one. Braunwyn does act/sound really elitist a lot of the time. And Gina is being super sensitive to everything right now. They're both a mess.

Yes, it probably does. I think the restaurants and shops in the SJC historic district are only open very few hours and very few days. 

However, Bravo could have set them up to go to The Swallows Inn which is within walking distance of the historical district.

The Swallows Inn is a get down and dirty country bar. Perfect for these cheap Ho's. No disrespect meant towards the Swallows Inn. It's a fun place. Good bands, nice local folks and great food. 

ETA: However, the Swallows Inn isn't desperate for business. IIRC, one of these RHOC Ho's did get filmed at the Swallows Inn many years ago. I think it was just one of the gaggle of hens, but not a group gaggle.

I loved the tea and the costumes. Would be great fun to do with a bunch of girlfriends. Didn’t quite understand Gina’s costume. Emily looked lovely.

Gina appears to be an angry drunk.

I will miss Vickie. She knows that she is there to bring drama and therefore put up with Tamra smashing cake in her face and leaving it there for the drive back home. There would have been a different outcome if Tamra tried that with Kelly or Gina.

I went to a magnet school for the performing arts during my high school years. It was technically "free", but there was a small fee each department asked every year, for supplies and whatnot. If you didn't pay it you weren't kicked out or anything, but they wouldn't give you an arts seal on your diploma if you didn't pay. I think it was $200 for my department (performance theatre). 

We did have to keep a certain GPA. And we had to audition to get in. There were quite a few magnet schools in my area of FL. There was also a performance art middle school. And we had a STEM-ish type of school for middle and high school as well. They all basically operated the same. 

They were all technically public schools - we got the same funding as other schools. But because of the audition process, it wasn't like every kid in the neighborhood could go. It was NOT a charter school. 

I think there may be schools that are a combination of both charter and magnet school. To me, a magnet school has a "theme" or purpose. Charters are closer to a private school, IMO. Although, they also receive government funding, to a degree. I'm guessing B's kids go to a charter school that is also a magnet school, because of the designated electives - like performing arts.

Okay, Gina is an asshole.  There was nothing wrong with what Brauny said.  

Also, I hate that someone who went along with fake cancer storyline is now being treated like an actual decent person by Shannon.  If Kelly wants to celebrate Vicki at her funeral, that's no more bad karma than someone who helped fake cancer plotline.    I feel like it's in the RHO contract that you fight with a cast member and then you make up seasons later.  It feels disingenuous to me.

Not only that, but when Bronte called Kelly to report on the tea party, she said that the girls were talking about her fight with Brian. In reality, one mentioned the bar fight, someone else asked if that is when they broke up because there was a post on social media that disappeared the next day, and Bronte started talking about a fight that Brian and Kelly had at a friend's place. Shannon then said that they heard it was at a bar, and Bronte said that she didn't know about that one, but continued her story about Brian and Kelly's fight at her friend's house. So Bronte made sure that they all knew about that fight, but then told Kelly that the girls were talking about her fight with Brian when in fact she is the one who told the others. Bronte is as big of a shit stirrer as the rest of them.

What is wrong with Gina?  I think Brown Wind was trying to say public schools have an IEP (individual education plan/program?) for special-needs children.  I don't know that much about them and I don't know if private schools even admit students needing IEPs.    Gina just WENT OFF on her.  Completely inappropriate and over the top.

Part of the reason people choose to live in affluent suburbs is for the good public schools.

"Charter schools are public schools that are independent of school districts through contracts with state or local boards." They are government funded, free for students and anyone can go.

Magnet schools are call that because they attract students from all over the city/school district. Some may be themed, while others may focus primarily on academics.

Gina's broke ass is going to need to send her children to public school and should thank God they provide services she may need. Private/prep schools don't do that. Parents are expected to provide their children with any special services they may need unless it's a private school that specializes in children with special needs because they are funded by tuition paid by parents. 

Someone above said sometimes she doesn't have the tacky accent. I've never noticed that but suspect those are times when she's trying to disguise it. I can't believe she's sleeping with the man who has humiliated and disrespected her on national TV. Oh wait, I can, She's that fucking stupid.

Sooo true.  I think that most people have no idea how bad the situation is.  I lived in Miami when they started using charter schools, pretending to address the issue, and it was such a scam - just another way to divert funds from the poor to the rich.  The teachers were poorly paid, kids did worksheets just to pass standard tests (and , of course, cheating scandals were part of the mix), and the rich got their photo ops.

I missed the point about OC.  I don't live there but didn't a poster say the school district was wealthy?  I also believe parents have a huge responsibility in educating their children.  Kelly, at least, has taken her child to serve in a soup kitchen.

Since I lightweight defended Braunwynn against Gina, I feel dirty, so don't mind me as I tell Braunwynn off:  Honey, you are not allergic to wine.  I'm sure there are some people who are allergic to wine, somewhere, but you are not one of them.  You said you don't like it because it makes you feel bloated.  Yes, ok, fine, you prefer your stupid-ass Skinny Girl Spicy Margarita.  Why make up lies about allergies?  Just...don't drink wine.  Billions of people manage to do it every day.

Then, Braunwynn asked for the nuts to be removed after the food got to the table. Unless the nuts were placed in a highly unusual place, and there would be no expectation for them to be in the food, such as, say, a baked potato, tell the wait staf in advance about your nut allergy.  Shut the fuck up about being so high-maintenance and California wilth your "milk substitute."  Like...I try to have soy milk on the rare occasion I will visit Starbucks, but I don't apologize about it and hem and haw and get all little-girly, and say "I know I'm being all, like, annoying, and I'm, like, so sorry, but is there like a soy type milk you have?"  Just ask for the damned thing and stop being a pain in the ass.

This bitch is so thirsty for attention for being wacky and unique.  I am so bored of her and her vegan and vegetarian and nut allergy she has to cook for.  Oh, the horror!  She created this mess.  She would shrivel up and die if someone wasn't paying attention to her.  I am so over the crying at the drop of a hat.  And am I alone in thinking she needs to stop trying to make Rowan happen?

Tamra is so awful.  It's just showing up more and more, like it's leaking out of her pores.  She acts 180 degrees differently from the peacemaker she claims to be. Tamra started the convo about Kelly in the ride over to the tea party.  Yes, Shannon brought it up at the table, but there would be nothing to bring up if Tamra hadn't started the topic on the way to the destination.  If Tamra really was a friend to Vicki, she would have kept the focus on Vicki and stuck to light and neutral topics on the way to Vicki's party.  

When everyone began discussing Kelly at the party because of what Tamra started?  Tarma had several options:  she could have sat there quietly, or if she really felt the need to speak up for Kelly and her honor, Tamra could have tried to change the subject, and if that failed, she could have said, "you guys, I'm really uncomfortable gossiping about Kelly when she's not here.  This is Vicki's day.  Why don't we talk about the time that Vicki..." Vicki never misses an opportunity to talk about herself.  Just segue, asshole.

What was absolutely just rude and an obvious grab for camera time was to leave the table--and Shannon is 100% complicit in this too--to FaceTime Kelly that she needs to come to Vicki's party, because people are talking about her.  Kelly might be crazy and violent, but even she knows the remedy to prevent people from talking about you is not to show up unannounced to a frenemy's birthday party and demand they stop.  That's like bringing a gun to a knife fight.  Nice try, Waddle.  Kelly ain't as dumb as you wish she were.

And I can't with Tarma's airing of the Kelly gossip to Vicki that Kelly would rather celebrate Vicki's death than celebrate her birthday, complete with an audible gasp.  Lady, you're a 50-something grandma with four kids, at least two of whom are troubled.  Grow the fuck up.  I find this type of rumor-mongering and unsubtle pot-stirring as a desperate bid to keep an orange more troublesome than her trashy behavior in San Diego.  

Lastly, Tamra is so shallow.  Twice this episode she went to make outgoing FaceTime calls, and both times she put her "hot face" on before making the call.  It was like duck lips, face tilted 45 degrees away from the camera and an upward squint.  I was all like, 

Like, damn, you can't just look into a screen?  You have to be ready for your close-up?  Tamra, you're not that hot anymore.  Without makeup, you're kinda frightening.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I thought Braunwyn looked nice at the tea party. I liked the flowers in her hair. Emily looked great too. They should be happy they didn't dress up in those ridiculous costumes.
