Sonja is ready for love, y'all!

Sonja Morgan has her fashion and lifestyle brand, and now she’s ready for love.

During an Instagram Live with Page Six on Thursday, the “Real Housewives of New York City” star, 56, said she’s been in contact with a matchmaker.

“Love’s on the horizon,” she said. “I’m not looking for a man to take care of me. I want to be spoiled, and I want to get pounded and s—tfaced, but at home. In private.”

She said she is looking for somebody “a little more discreet,” adding, “maybe someone with a vineyard, or horses. Somebody that has their own life, who’s quiet and doesn’t watch TV. Someone that knows what the currency is doing.”

Morgan has been self-isolating at a spa in Desert Hot Springs, Calif., far from her home in New York, the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic. She has been watching Andrew Cuomo guide her home state through the crisis, though.

When asked if she would ever consider dating the governor, who recently said he is “eligible,” she did not seem too interested.

“I got a lot of good things to say about Andrew,” she began. “We both were active for Marriage Equality New York and getting that passed. I don’t know, I don’t really know. I do like a dandy guy. He’s pretty dandy. He’s got a big personality, though. I like a quiet guy. Kind of a quiet, silent type, if you get my drift. I think we both have big personalities. I think someone a little more behind the scenes is for me.”

Sonja honey, your someone with a vineyard or horses that can spoil you is likely going to go with the 30 year old version of you.

And when you put "not looking for a man to take care of me" but talk about being spoiled, vineyards and horses, you are saying you want to be taken care of.

"Pounded" please.   I'm 3 year younger than her (if she's only 55) and it's time to have a little class.

Love it! She knows what she wants, and she’s out to get it.

I don’t think someone should change their personality, or pretend to be society’s arbitrary version of “class,” just because they reach a certain age. Would that we all had the confidence to go after what we want, at any age.

Maybe Sonja should date John now that Dorinda seems to be done with him.  He doesn't have any horse's or a vineyard but he is good at taking care of drunk women.  I also heard he likes to take viagra and do it all night long.  He checks off 2 boxes!

Does he like doing it on sinks? Sonja seems to really like that.

Rewatching RHONY and I miss the Sonja of yesteryear.  She was so charming.  So funny.  And lucid. For the most part, she looked elegant.

And OMG, LuAnne was so insufferable at times.  I liked her year when she fucked the pirate.

I was watching yesterday, too. Such a HUGE difference in the show now and not in a good way. I really enjoyed that season and had some good chuckles during yesterday's rewatch. LuAnne was and still is the worst. Dorinda had such nice clothes. Where did they go?

It’s a shame Sonja doesn’t have any follow through. I admit I probably would have purchased the toaster oven just for the fun of it and I still like her style, even moreso in the earlier years of her tenure. I would have loved to see her (ghost write) a toaster oven cookbook. She missed the boat on a proper fashion label big time. I don’t know if she could have landed QVC like Rinna, but it would have been a golden opportunity. I would totally watch and it’s somewhat local for her being in the Philadelphia suburbs, especially now that Q is at Penn. HSN where the rest of them are is kind of the B list home shopping network. I mean she could have even helped develop a line of updo hairpieces or a smoky eye palette. Sonja are you listening??

And now Sonja is going to be on “Worst Cooks in America” or something like that. Really? Now she’s going to pretend that she doesn’t know how to cook? What happened to her cooking for royalty in her toaster oven? Or publishing a cookbook for her toaster oven? Or the toaster oven she was going to sell a million of when she finally got it on the market? Has she forgotten ALL of that on RHONY?!

True. Her food was terrible and I was shocked that Anne and Tyler gave her a pass and let her stay. Doubly surprised when Sonja chose to be on Anne's team instead of Tyler's. I guess Sonja and Anne do have a connection off-camera. Oddly, she didn't flirt with Tyler at all. I noticed them talking in the background but that was about it. Maybe he was giving her a warning to not even go there.

Sonja truly dragged in two toaster ovens and tried to cook rack of lamb and halibut in them. The food she tried to serve was completely uncooked and inedible. I wept for the waste of some perfectly good (and expensive meat!)

Otherwise ... dare I say, I thought Sonja was more toned-down than what I was expecting, mainly on the flirting front, except we did see a lot of her shaking her butt and hips around to the camera. Nearly all the contestants were drinking and Sonja was, as well and having a bit of banter with a male contestant who was playing bartender. I guess I was still reeling from this week's spectacle at the apple farm, so when I watched my recording of "Worst Cooks," I truly was expecting the worst.

She sure spun a tale of her lavish life of entertaining and having "help" who prepared all of her meals. Then, she took a turn and painted herself as a divorced single mom who relied on the convenience of a toaster oven to cook for her daughter. Right. As if ...

Unless she improves like 1000% this week, I predict she'll be the first one sent home.

I have no knowledge about such things, but it wouldn't surprise me if shows like this sign "guaranteed minimum appearance" contracts with some folks.  I don't know what one appearance would equate to in terms of $$, but someone like Sawnya might need to stick around for a few weeks to make it worth her while (in her head at least).

I couldn't bring myself to watch.

Does anyone else think that in the talking heads Sonja is starting to resemble Bridget Everett (a stand-up comedienne who appeared on Amy Schumer’s TV show)?

Interestingly, Bridget Everett is also on that cooking show.

Sonja was *this* close to getting eliminated this past Sunday. She should be kicked to the curb soon enough. She's playing it as an outrageous buffoon.

To be fair, did those people make a huge deal on Real Housewives of NYC about how they cooked for royalty in a toaster oven, etc, etc? I don’t think so.

The Situation talked about his cooking and unlike Sonja actually did it frequently on the Jersey Shore and Barbara Eden had published a cookbook and done cooking segments on talk shows before she appeared on the show those are just two examples along the the lines of Sonja but there have been others on both the celeb and regular people editions. This season Wells is also on and he cooks frequently on both his and his fiancé, Sarah Hylands IG to their millions of followers more often than Sonja has on this show.

I hate Sonja and I’m glad her stupidity and arrogance will continue kicking her in the face for the rest of her life. She cannot ever improve on her wretched character. Her response on “how to be heard” is from the “moderate” supremacist playbook. She is disgusting.

What did she do this time?

Is it just me or does Drunk Sonja kind of sound like Moira Rose?

Sonja is a lot like Moira Rose!  Lost fame, wealth, entitlement, etc.

I actually really like Sonja but she can't seem to make anything happen for herself that sticks.  At least Luanne found Cabaret.  It's kind of sad - and a little scary.  She did it to herself with that failed movie venture years ago, I suppose, but she's more than paid the price, and she needs help.  Bethenny tried, but that was probably only for the camera.  Sonja really needs a partner - maybe not on paper - but a friend or loved one who can help her get something off the ground that lasts.
