John Yates did an interview with Auntie last night and apparently, Coltie stays with his mom  because she's an alcoholic. Obviously this comes from Larissa, but it does make sense. Coltee is afraid that if he doesn't live with her, she'll drink herself to death, fall down, or perhaps drive under the influence, the typical things that alcoholics do. It would explain how she's aged. Yes, I understand that she is 60, but she looks much older. And, it certainly explains Colt's contempt for women. 

It's a very sad thing if it's true, and I hope Debbie gets help, again, IF it's true. Her attachment to her son does seem somewhat pathological. She's a widow, and I cannot even imagine that kind of pain so I don't want to judge her too harshly. But for her sake and for Colt's, I hope she gets help. Alcoholism is not pretty, and it's even worse for people as they get older.

I'm not a fan of Debbie, not even a little.  I also don't know a ton of alcoholics.  But she drives all the time and seems pretty sober when we've seen her make breakfast and beef stew.  I don't know.  

She is a sneaky sneak because I absolutely think she shit talked Larissa to John and then pretended to be innocent.  

I think it's possible that this is some line that Colt fed Larissa to justify continuing to live with Debbie.

More likely Larissa made it up on her own or with her friend Carmen’s help. Probably saw the photoshopped pic of the booze in her purse and ran with it.

I think that's an issue with Debbie and Colt.  Their moves are so underhanded to me.  Larissa can be a bitch, but she seems genuine and what you see is what you get.  If she has an opinion about you, you'll know it. 

But it's bs IMO to talk smack about someone behind their back and then act innocent when confronted about it. 

I can't remember any specific instances of Larissa being a beeyotch to Debbie before the fight with John.  She didn't want her beef stew and she wanted a more expensive couch. 

She seemed to be most upset.when she got wind of Debbie talking about her behind her back to John.

As to where the drinking thing came from, I don't know.  Colt is very passive aggressive and so I wouldn't put it past him to make stuff up about Debbie (who is 'not an angel') so that Larissa wouldn't ask him to move her out.

I am not a fan of him blowing sunshine up the ass of every cast member, every day.  I've had normal/boring interactions with him, but I can't get with his love for Danielle and Mother Chantel and ugh Jason Hitch.  Just let the Terrible Decision Makers of the Franchise make their decisions without being enabled and encouraged (or discouraged with false support for the sake of an instagram post) away from the public eye.  Zero surprises come from his interactions with Larissa/Coltee.  He knows what he's doing.  I don't think he counted on Larissa asking him to pay his bail.  

He lost me with his plea that he isn't a paid blogger, etc, that he has a real 9-5 job and doesn't post 90DF stuff to get anything out of it, etc... but then posts screenshots of his social media impressions, follower counts, video audience numbers, etc.  Nope.

Makes sense. Debbie does look like she hits the bottle hard. Skin has an unhealthy gray pallor and her face is puffy and bloated. She looks way older than her age and in many of the scenes her hair is unkept and she looks so tired. No life or sparkle to dear old Debbie. I can't imagine living with her and Coltee. Larissa has many issues but she deserves combat pay. Coltee and Debbie are gaslighting her and she falls right into their trap. The arguing and drama plays right into all three of their hopes to remain in the spotlight even after the show ends. Their plan is to remain employed by TLC for as long as possible.

i wouldn’t be keen on beef stew if I had flown 14 hours, was overtired and nauseous, got a ride to my new home in a hot desert city in a vehicle with no air conditioning and little air movement except a window. I am not sure about Brazilian culture but it's widespread around the world that an unmarried man living with family would need no further explanation. It is the assumed norm of  family relationships. It may be America with Eric's kick them out when they are 18 or finish school, whichever comes first, mentality that needs cross cultural explanation

So.  Not only is Larissa completely under Coltee and Debbie's thumbs regarding expensive purchases, like a couch or a car, but she wasn't even allowed to choose her own wardrobe?  If she didn't start out BSC, it's no wonder she ended up that way.

I have no idea whose fault the DV was, and I honestly don't care.  They clearly don't belong together, and she will be much better off back in Brazil than living the life Coltee is willing (grudgingly) to provide for her.  I still like her: I think she's funny and smart, and I'm sorry her experience in the US has been so awful.  But she needs to get out of town.

those two bring out the worst in each other. colt wanted an exotic trophy wife. I don't think larissa knew what she was in for. he never explained what his life in vegas was like to her. and I think all of this builds up and larissa explodes.

Second arrest for Larissa. If he is found the aggressor, she gets to stay on the VAWA act and can carry on with her “career” in the last two pages of Hustler. 

The arrest came AFTER filing for divorce, after he’s alleged to have cheated on her (🙄M’okay Mr.Playboy) and after he very specifically withdrew not only his undying love, but his sponsorship.

Even that is okay.

Totes off topic, We have filming permits for feriners every day, no WONDER these people come off with huge chips on their shoulders. The thing about this show and others like it, when the show gets ratings, production wants to amp it up for higher ratings. The interview these couples and put the worst of the worst on TV in the hopes people will tune in for a train wreck.

The couples get a little fame by being on TV and they want more. So they ramp up the drama.

I’ve already read about suicides from other reality shows, this is going to start getting to the point I won’t want to watch anymore. Larissa needs to go back to her home country and her children.
