If they gave the cat away to friends in Laredo, I don’t blame them. We moved our cat from Indiana to Georgia, and she was miserable. We’ve moved a couple of times since then, and every time, she expresses her displeasure by peeing all over the house. They can always get a new cat if and when Felicity is ready for one.

If they abandoned the cat to fend for itself, then ignore everything I just said.

P.S. “Jinger’s” supposed post about her hair and her “hair care routine” is total bullshit. RFP is just clapping back on the people talking about her roots and hairline breakage.

RFP, most times, if you ignore the little petty stuff, it will die out on its own. All you did was stir it back up. You would think their SM guy would have informed him of this...

She may have, considering it should be "blond locks." Wouldn't expect a Duggar to know the distinction between "blonde" and "blond." 😉

I know “blonde” is correct, but it’s the phrase “blonde locks” that doesn’t sound like something she would say.

I find it so sad that this guy is not better protected by family and friends when he goes off the rails.

Well, consider who his family is....

Meanwhile, I am hoping someone sane and close to JerMe has clued him in that this guy is nuts and not the second coming.  I guess the urge for fame blinds you.

If he's so into pharmaceuticals, I'd like to suggest he give Lithium and Haldol a try.  As someone with a bipolar close relative, I find it so sad that this guy is not better protected by family and friends when he goes off the rails.

It seems that it got really bad after his mom died. It's just sad to watch this happen while he's getting encouraged by people who are only seeing dollar signs and that's not just the K's, I include the fundie crowd in it as well.

I have a feeling Jingers completely staged post is a precursor to her shilling for some hair care company next week.  Jing is now a fulltime Instagram personality complete with paid posts.  She has moved beyond her sisters who occasionally get free products to shill, and is now deriving a steady stream of income from the platform.   I have no idea how this is accomplished,  but Jing has finally done it.**

**I don't know how some people are able to derive an income off of social media, but a select few do.  I know I have said before that the true influencers don't need to brag about it, and get companies to contact them to give them stuff.  I guess this is a closely guarded secret so the market does not get saturated.

What does Jinge get paid to promote, I don’t follow Instagram or understand how it works, so I only see what’s posted on here

I have no idea what she brings in, but I think it all depends how many followers you have and how many hits you get.

I think it was his decision to get off his meds and stay off.  I'm guessing the family has tried to reason with him, but Kanye is Kanye.  It's a shame because he spoke and acted normally when he was on the meds.

Doesn't actually slide easily off the tongue either. Maybe he'll go by Christian Genius for short - like his buddy Stable Genius. Two peas from slightly different pods.

Yeah, I know I already mentioned Randy Rainbow earlier, but given the "Stable Genius" comment, I couldn't resist. It's a real tour de force (farce? 😁)

Back to Kanye and the Fundie contingent, I don't know what kind of percentages he has in his corner, or how much those who back him are secretly doing it in hopes of sliding into some sort of gravy train on his coattails...I did  end up listening to the entirety of Jer's defense of him last week, and if I had no prior knowledge of either Kanye or Jer, I might have actually seen it as a heartfelt and reasoned plea to give a prodigal son the benefit of the doubt. It was not a gripping speech by any stretch of the imagination, but he did make some decent points.

At this point, though, after all the posing and preening he has done, I don't trust Jer or his integrity as far as I could throw either of them.

And Kanye just needs to get back on his meds.

I keep harking back to the talking heads interview with the older girls back before anyone got married, and Jinger said she wanted to live in a big city. Jill immediately rushed in with "wherever God wants you to be you'll be happy" crap, and someone later remarked Jinger wanted to live where there was a Walmart. But now Jinger is living in LA - which is one heck of a big city. And Jill, who was much more "whatever God wants for me I'll take", seems to be pretty miserable with her husband and kids.

Jinger doesn't have a life I would like, but she appears to be happy enough with the life she has. I find it kind of nice that the sister who actually voiced a preference for her future seems to have got what she asked for.

It was MEShell, this was her exact quote:

“Jinger didn’t mean she wanted to move to New York City,” “She meant that she wants to live closer to a city. We’re talking right near a city, but not New York City.

“Jinger meant she wanted to live 15 minutes from a Wal-mart. We live so far out of town on 20 acres, but Jinger wants to live closer to town, so she doesn’t have to drive so far to go shopping.”

Yup. I remember thinking that Jinger did not say that, she said she wanted to live in a big city. Which does not mean "closer to a city".

I think there's a lesson in there somewhere. If you actually want something, and don't just sit back and wait for whatever "God" is going to give you, you may actually get what you want - and be happier.

That’s why I still think that despite RFP and all his preening, Jinger is pretty happy. She wanted to get the heck out of Arkansas, and she found the guy who would take her.

I don't know if this is going to work for Jinger long term, but I I think she actually got what she wanted.  I'm really glad for her and I think it is really a slap in the face for her idiot parents. Good!

She had it right..."blonde" is for females, "blond" for males.

Blonde is a noun, referring to the person; blond is an adjective (referring to locks), at least in the usage I'm familiar with (I'm a freelance copy editor/proofreader and we tend to use Merriam Webster as a standard).

Note: Not M-W, but still a reference point:

https://www.dictionary.com/browse/blonde

Quote

The spelling blonde is still widely used for the noun that specifies a woman or girl with fair hair: The blonde with the baby in her arms is my anthropology professor. Some people object to this as an unnecessary distinction, preferring blond for all persons: My sister is thinking of becoming a blond for a while. As an adjective, the word is more usually spelled blond in reference to either sex ( an energetic blond girl; two blond sons ), although the form blonde is occasionally still used of a female: the blonde model and her escort. The spelling blond is almost always used for the adjective describing hair, complexion, etc.: His daughter has blond hair and hazel eyes.

As they also say, "English is weird. It can be understood through tough, thorough thought, though." (Whether this is actually true is undetermined, however.)
