LoneHaranguer April 15, 2016 Share April 15, 2016 Not only do you never see a McDonalds with only adults working in it, if they made this commercial today, they wouldn't even think about using an adult. I don't know about that, but it wouldn't be all male, and they certainly wouldn't have the black guy only sweeping the floor. 6 Link to comment

Brattinella April 17, 2016 Share April 17, 2016 I worked background on the Jason Statham commercial! We filmed on New York Street at Paramount Studios. I was there for several scenes, but the only time I caught a quick glimpse of myself was in the restaurant. I find something new every time I see this funny-as-hell commercial. The lady with the coif and the sweater set and pearls, the lady with a sports bra! Plus. the music cracks me up too. 2 Link to comment
riley702 April 17, 2016 Share April 17, 2016 Organic Valley's new ad is hilarious, and takes the piss out of many other ads. Is the lady on the bus trying to say "rooibos"? I thought it was roy-boss, not robos. I did like the line at the end about "seizing the cray". 2 Link to comment
NYGirl April 17, 2016 Share April 17, 2016 The guy's dancing cracks me up. I love this guy!! He's so cute. Link to comment
Amethyst April 17, 2016 Share April 17, 2016 Is the lady on the bus trying to say "rooibos"? I thought it was roy-boss, not robos. I did like the line at the end about "seizing the cray". She was saying "Crow pose." I had to look it up too, because it wasn't very clear. I really enjoyed that commercial, btw. Clever, goes beyond the typical cheerful breakfast commercial, and quite funny. 2 Link to comment
Bastet April 17, 2016 Share April 17, 2016 Oh, that's what she's saying -- repeating the yoga woman's "crow pose," only in a WTF? manner? Thank you; I couldn't understand it when I watched it. Not that it would have pained me to watch it again had you not posted, mind you; that cracked me up. I especially love the swearing montage, but the whole thing is fantastic. 3 Link to comment

ABay April 18, 2016 Share April 18, 2016 Oh my god, that Organic Valley ad is hilarious. I'm sad to say I'm in the 21% who check work email before getting out of bed, at least most mornings. What is this dry shampoo they speak of? I need to check that out. 2 Link to comment

ramble April 18, 2016 Share April 18, 2016 The Organic Valley ad is great! "Only 16% of women would describe their morning with the hashtag blessed & that seems kind of high." I laughed enough to annoy the dogs. 4 Link to comment
AimingforYoko April 18, 2016 Share April 18, 2016 I am so tired of the Kobe Bryant Retirement Tour . But this ad made it a little more bearable. As I said in the basketball thread, people who have a sense of humor about themselves can't be all bad, like Latrell Sprewell Link to comment
Cobalt Stargazer April 19, 2016 Share April 19, 2016 (edited) http://www.ispot.tv/ad/A6qF/shark-rotator-powered-lift-away I love that the guys are all, like, eight feet tall in comparison to their mom, and they still clean up after themselves when she gives them that look. Gives me the warm-N-fuzzies I was just coming here to say how much I love that commercial. It hits me right in the feels every single time I see it. I always wonder whether they are actors or actual nurse and patient. 3 Link to comment
captain1 April 20, 2016 Share April 20, 2016 Well I answered my own question - I went to YouTube to watch it again, because, you know, I just hadn't cried enough today, and several commenters who sound like they know whereof they speak say this is a real nurse and patient. I hope she is alive and well! 4 Link to comment

Rinaldo April 24, 2016 Share April 24, 2016 I also saw Justin Guarini do outstanding work in the Encores presentation of Paint Your Wagon (a recording was made, though not released yet) and as Bobby in Company in Bucks County a year ago. He has definitely achieved a respected position in the acting community. 1 Link to comment

Sandman87 April 26, 2016 Share April 26, 2016 Just saw the Chase retirement service commercial with the couple power-walking their pig. Made me laugh. The camera work and the music (Shaggy's "Boombastic") make the pig look like he's the one in charge of that little parade. One of my high school classmates had a pet pig exactly like the one in the ad. She brought it to school once or twice. 4 Link to comment

Amethyst May 4, 2016 Share May 4, 2016 (edited) I still love the Lil Sweet commercials. At least they took a break for a while instead of bombarding the public with them like so many others. I wish more companies would space them out like that (cough, Progressive, cough, cough) There's a new McDonald's ad with a father and daughter that cracks me up. It could easily be another "These kids today" kind of ads, but the father just commits to the memes so hard, it's hilarious. You also don't get that typical bratty teen vibe from his daughter, more like bemused at her father's antics. Can't find it on youtube yet. Edited May 4, 2016 by Amethyst 1 Link to comment
