Did anyone see her on WWHL this week. She wasn't drinking.  It seems like she's calling her sobriety a health kick.

Dorinda was still not feeling Lu at all and was quite insistent that she was in the right with the other guest that night. That guest, Amber Tamblyn, was suggesting that the ladies move on and get over this hump, but, Dorinda would hear none of it.  So, I think feelings are still raw and we haven't seen what may have transpired later in their season.  Have they filmed the reunion yet? I guess not, or that might have come up.

They usually film the reunion close to the season finale.   Last year the season started in April and I think they filmed the reunion in July.  Since they started in  March this year, I'm guessing they'll film the reunion in June. They want to wait until the cast gets to see most of the season.  Even though the cast knows what happened,  the editing monkeys get to play with it before it airs.

I think that Doris and Lu are in a "dry drunk" standoff. Until either one starts the real work to heal, they are going to harbor the same bitterness, resentment and self-righteousness towards each other with neither side refusing to budge.

I am guessing the Dorinda drinks/uses (?) because she's never gotten over Richard's death, but I think she was a partier prior to that.  Lu, I think, is a just a party girl and things have gotten progressively more out of hand as the years progressed. 

You get from "Point A to Point Z" a lot faster than you think. I wish both of them well and I think they can still bring the drama without making asses of themselves on national TV and leaving fractured friendships, hurt and embarrassed families and ruined relationships in the wake.

From me -- to be five years sober on Easter!

she will - she's a total drunk.  And, she can hold out long enough to not have a drink on a 30-mintue show.

Not dirking on a 30-minute TV show does not equate 'not drinking'. She's a drunk through and through. Worse behavior most times than any of the others - who also drink too much.

Oh, I know.  It may or may not be something that she is focusing on 24/7.  I didn't hear her  say that she had stopped drinking for good.  And, even if she did, relapse is very common with those in recovery.  But, she hasn't said that she's in recovery, so.....I guess time will tell how things go.  Sonja is drinking again and I think she stopped for a while too.  Maybe, that's whet Dorinda is doing. Sonja's period of sobriety actually turned out to be not drinking when the cameras rolling and drinking wine when they went dark. Next season it was sometimes drinking wine while the cameras were rolling and cocktails when the cameras were dark. I don't have much faith that Dorinda or Luann will remain sober for any real amount of time.

Dorinda’s behavior this season has really been a bummer. I thought she was a centered, good person that had her shit together. Her inability to take the high road over Luann’s Jovani diss, and her obvious to everyone but her alcohol issues are unsettling. 

Luann’s attitude as a newly sober person is a bit annoying- especially to Dorinda because I think on some level she knows she has a problem.

That make-up guy Luke Henderson (Dorinda's dear dear friend) was also Caroline Stanbury's make-up guy and dear dear friend on Ladies of London.  She always looked like she'd troweled it on.  So I hope Dorinda tones down Luke's  overuse of...er... just about everything.

Drinking or not drinking, she is still mad at the world. Maybe she sees all the others have something going on and she doesn’t.  Maybe she remembers her previous marriage where she was a “somebody” to a very successful man, and was flouncing all over Europe with the rich and famous.  Now she has a dry goods cleaner, who is a regular guy.  Maybe she misses Hanna.  Who the hell knows.  All I know is she is not likeable at all this season and is acting like a shrew.

And the clothes that come with it! Didn’t we see in a previous season that Dorinda got some of the castaways from John’s business- clothes that were dropped off, cleaned and/or repaired and then not picked up? Given the clientele he has, I bet some really nice clothing is occasionally left behind.

Wasn't John a friend of hers and Richard's, before he passed? I think John was a huge support for her after Richard died. And the friendship sort of morphed into more. I think, for Dorinda, it brings her comfort and maybe even nostalgia. I don't think she's over Richard. Not even close. I don't think she should be in ANY relationship; but she, especially, entered into one too quickly after his passing. I think she needs some alone time and intense therapy. I know she's been a miserable shrew lately, but I can't help but feel badly for her. Usually underneath anger is hurt. I think she's hurting badly.

Season 9, episode 13.

Bethenny invited the ladies to an Italian restaurant in the Bronx. Dorinda arrives already under the influence and is ready to get even more fucked up.

A shit storm erupts when Sonja suggests Dorinda was also in on Tipsy Girl. Dorinda and Sonja go back and forth getting louder and louder as Goodfellas looking guys clutch their pearls.

Dorinda, red faced and slobbering, stands up and shouts, "CLIP! CLIP! CLIP!!" while making clamping motions with her hands. 

It's a hilarious scene. It's probably on YT.

I’m surprised anyone wants to be friends with Dorinda. One minute she’s the nicest person in the world, and then the next she’s verbally assaulting you and getting ready to physically assault you. She is scary.

I don’t think it’s the alcohol or possible drugs that make her that way. Sure, they probably enhance that part of her personality, but it’s hard for me to believe that she wasn’t already inherently vicious.

I don’t think alcohol/drugs causes thuggish mannerisms either. Like, who has Dorinda hung around? Heather?

Forgive me if already covered anywhere here (can't believe Dorinda only has 10 pages of postings here after all her seasons)- but did anyone notice the way she always spoke about Hannah, her daughter? She infantalizes that girl so much and I think she mentally clings on to both the Richard marriage and possibly Hannah's youth. IDK how old Hannah was when Richard passed but I know she has a different biological father. But when Dorinda speaks about her, she's like "well you know Hanna and I went to bed.  I get up every morning with Hannah and make her breakfast..." When accused of partying and Coke , Dorinda said that..."how can I be partying every night when I have Hannah at home. Then I get up early and make her breakfast." If you listen to her speak, you'd think maximum age of daughter is 10 years. There are other awkward examples but for now they don't come to mind. I know there are things she pushes with the Hannah/Richard relationship too as though Richard was her bio dad and only Male figure in her life and how "hard his death was on HANNAH." Richard had other bio kids, didn't he? Hannah is a grown ass woman!!! She lives on her own! Shes in her 20s and her arrogant attitude is nothing to brag on either. And I actually started out liking Dorinda and still do like her though I don't agree with her 100% on things. She needs rehab and certainly to get out of the PAST.

To be her friend, you’d have to constantly walk on eggshells.  She has a tendency to erupt at any minute, especially when drinking whether in public or not.  She’s very erratic.  Also, don’t ask for favors as she will never let it down and will throw it in your face eventually.  She hardly admits it when she’s wrong.  Well, maybe sometimes ..I don’t remember.

None of these sites are accurate. Even reputable magazines like Forbes are speculating about people’s net worth when they make their lists. I mean Forbes is more accurate by a wide margin but they aren’t seeing people’s taxes or bank statements!

Yeah, they state her second husband's name is Richard, but, then call him Chris.  Must be a typo, unless some did call him Chris. lol

Yes, I read that some publications stated that Lee Radziwells’ estate was valued at $50 million. No way in hell. Someone else said that’s the figure all of the publications use when they have no idea of someone’s worth. Lee scraped for money for years even though she lived as though she had lots of it. Her husband was a faux prince who had no money at all!
