Her mother is as warm and enjoyable as a popsicle in the artic.

Love Gina's parents.

I would rather have a popsicle in the Artic than spend ANY time with Heather's mom.

On the other hand I would enjoy having dinner with Gina's parents. They seemed "real" and I enjoyed seeing how Gina acted around her parents compared to Heather and her mom.

Poor Archie, he was wondering what those naked women were doing in his pool.

There was a Bravo reality show on maybe 10 years ago, Long Island Princesses. It was based on a group of young Jewish women who still lived at home with their parents. I think it was only on for one year.  But I can't remember if they referred to themselves as JAPS.

I wear my tiara proudly as a JAP.   LOL.

I remember that show, it was horrible.

Didn't Heather convert?  I did not think she was Jewish by birth.

With a mother like Heather's we understand Heather more as an adult but I do not see her being that sort of parent to her kids.

I once lost a twenty dollar bill out of my jeans pocket, I remember the day vividly, I was picking up my little one from daycare (my little one is now almost 29), it still bothers me...Heather could drop a twenty every block in NYC and never think of it once but here I am years later still stewing about it.

Heather befriending Gina is her way of showing how she can relate to the little people, ain't she humble.

I don’t remember anyone in Chappaqua acting like Heather’s mom and I was “the help.”

Someone mentioned above how Heathers disgusting display of wealth is disturbing for anyone struggling to put food on the table or put gas in their car with the rising costs. At least Bethany does good things to help others with her money and influence.

Yep, twins.  And I'd bet a paycheck they aren't considering Syracuse at all - that was just a pretense so Heather could show and tell us all about her college days.  Those overprivledged kids will probably stay in SoCal - USC if they have the grades.

Syracuse - especially back when Heather went - was considered a very "safe" school to get into. It was a private college with high tuition but not competitive. Your very average suburban kids would go there - upper middle class but not super wealthy like Heather's background. Hofstra would have been very typical college choice for someone with Gina's background who grew up on the Guyland - it was very much a commuter's school for solidly middle class kids and I would imagine Gina lived at home while going to school.

I would be shocked if Heather's kids even applied to it because it has absolutely nothing that would appeal to them. NYU - which wasn't super hard to get into at that time has become a very competitive highly sought after school - that would be what her kids would aspire to if they want to be on the East Coast - of course I am assuming they can't get into the obvious highly prestigious Ivy League type colleges like Brown, Yale, Harvard etc.

My cousin who was no academic "brain" but very "social" went to Syracuse and majored in communications.

Sounds like Emily might be the one who is jealous of and/or threatened by Gina’s relationship with Heather. That’s probably why Emily seemed annoyed when they talked about the video chat they had. Project much? It’s her passive aggressive way of deflecting attention away from her own insecurities about possibly losing her BFF to Fancypants with the private plane. Otherwise why keep bringing it up to Shannon?

Heather’s mom…yeeesh. Lots to unpack there for sure, and I was loving watching their dynamic. Her mom is almost competitive with Heather and yup, I understand so much of why Heather is the way she is. I thought it hilarious that they both said they didn’t want their steak moo’ing. Also funny that her mom got up on her pedestal to talk about the lack of morals and ethics these days after she just got done belittling her server for not setting the table right. “I don’t want to the rude but…I'm going to anyway…” I loathe people with superiority complexes who love to give shit to restaurant employees because they think it’s their job to take it.

Semantics I guess as I was trying to differentiate between relative economic status of Heather and Gina - Heather's background wasn't "super wealthy" like she is now but it was definitely upper middle class professional. I was comparing it to Gina's very middle class background and the two colleges reflect that differentiation.

I don't think Heather is a snob of not associating with anyone without a lot of money although realistically she isn't going to come into contact with people who are poor or working class - but then most middle or upper middle class people tend to know people who are more or less in their own situation - parents of their kids' friends; colleagues at work or those in the same profession etc.

I doubt whether Heather would have even come into contact with any of these women except possibly Shannon when they were neighbors or if they were doing some charity work.

I think she genuinely enjoys spending time with Gina - and probably Emily as well in terms of these being her work people and she has to spend time with someone. They are both more her kind of people than Noelle or Tamra or Vicki or Kelly (obviously).

But I appreciate Heather as a cast member. I would much rather have housewives being shallow and living in real estate porn than dealing with middle aged women getting so drunk that they lose control of their bladders.

I think the two colleges have always been similar in tuition cost, as are most private colleges.  But I think Hofstra has more of a commuter population, whereas Syracuse would not, so that lets people save on overall costs.  Congrats to your son!

No private colleges are cheap at this point. However Hofstra is much more of a commuter college with the student body drawn from Long Island with a significant commuter student body.

Syracuse is a much more traditional college experience with its student body drawn from New York State obviously but most of the students are not commuters and aren't from Syracuse in the same way.

I went to Binghamton University (when it was SUNY Binghamton) and the student body had its own distinctive feel that was different than Syracuse and quite a bit different than SUNY Stony Brook because of the nature of the student body. Some of my best friends were townies but it wasn't a commuter school and the townies were a minority versus the kids from out of the area.

As someone else said, it was Shannon and Gina.  Don't remember seeing Heather at Fashion Week on the finale, but I bet she was there.

Did anyone notice in the pictures show of Heather and her mother, that her mother was wearing a tiara in Heather's wedding picture?  She was probably the type of mother of the bride that had to try to upstage her daughter. I also thought Gina's parents were very lovely people. It even seemed like Heather's uncle was given Heather's mother the side eye at one point.  Did not hear if the couple was from Heather's mother or father's side of the family.  If father's side then they probably have lots of stores about Heather's mother's snobbery. She reminds me of my mother in law.

That is SUCH a Heather thing to do! I don't doubt it at all...and she called her mother a Smother!

I can't decide if I'd like to vacation with her. On the one hand, you don't have to worry about anything. She's got it all planned out- activities, meals, transportation -it's all scheduled. On the other hand, every second of your day has been scheduled with an activity...when do you get to sleep in, or lounge by the pool? or meet up with some Italian friends?

Heather's mom has, I'm certain, been served quite a few "floor steaks" in restaurants in her lifetime.  Woman. Is. A. Nightmare.

Max, put the phone down at dinner.  Period.

I do wonder if Heather's friendship with Gina is more to keep we, the viewers, engaged in Heather/The Dubrows, as I do not see a true friendship between Heather and any of the other women.  If my suspicions are correct, and the Dubrows are doing this show to engage Bravo in a "Dubrow Family" spinoff, Heather needs to keep us watching, as her "friendship" with Gina emerges.  We will watch and see.  But it wouldn't surprise me if this wasn't the last we've seen of Heather's Mommy Dearest; even she mentioned the years of therapy she'd need to unpack here.

So for a Dubrow Family spinoff, we need to follow all the beginnings we've seen on this show:  Max and her sexuality vis a vis her college adventure, the younger one (can't remember her name) who has also come out, Heather's Cruella DeVille mother, their house as a character in this plot, etc.  This season of RHOC has been so largely Dubrow focused, it's hard to envision anything other than this as their end goal.

I just saw this extra scene in Heather's house; Ryne & Heather's husband are downstairs. The grey and red furniture in the bar area is FUGLY. Just truly hideous. 🤢

I really have to laugh at some of the design elements in their house, it seems like anywhere Heather went she took notes and copied them in her house...the glass lobby table with all the giant vases filled with flowers is copied from the lobby of every Four Seasons Hotel, the lit from behind fake quartz bar is copied from the restaurant Buddakan (at all locations) and guess what, when my brother built his house the builder offered a large etched window with a design of his choice! Heather is not original, what she is good at is spending money and that reminds me, have we heard anything else about the family retreat she and Terry want to build in Mexico?  I don't think we will hear anything more about it because as much as she loves to spend money, she loves a story line.

When Heather's mother appeared on the scene and we saw what she was about I thought the apple does not fall far from the tree, it answers a lot of questions about Heather.

Noella is so annoying I hope she’s done after this season something is wrong with her.

Jen is delusional. All she does is criticize her husband. He’s a weirdo but it would be unbearable living with her. She’s a superior bitch who thinks she’s somehow kind. Losing a parent is sad but she’s being ridiculous about it.

Yes, Heather does seem to believe that the money Terry makes in plastic surgery and the income from the things they shill on television would make them desirable friends.

When she told the server "I don't want to be rude but" and then picked up the silverware and deliberately slammed it down on the correct side she had a look on her face that said everything we need to know about her. There was a reason that she had to announce to the table and the camera that the silverware was on the incorrect side of the plate and she knows how to set the table correctly. Most people would have ignored it or just changed the position of the fork and knife and not said a word. She is an insufferable know it all. I'm with you Marley I can't stand people like her.

Jen is a drunk.  Plain and simple.  And worse, she's married to someone who's never had a drink, drugs or anything else to alter his state of being if he's to be believed.  Imagine having to sit next to your sloppy drunk spouse, smelling their putrid breath as they struggled to have a cognizant conversation about the trials and tribulations of your lousy marriage while drinking good, good, really good, good, good wine.  Hic* Belch.

Time for a real intervention and not a Heather Dubrow Marriage Counseling Service Dinner along with other sphincter clenching know-it-alls who, despite all their wealth, are dirt poor in soul and spirit.

I'll never like Emily.   What a shit stirrer.  It's like she can't wait to vomit up any kind of tea she's been served in confidence along with a few digs of her own imaginings.   Need a friend?  Don't call her.  Need a lawyer?  Same advice.  Her husband is still a nasty little dick.  They deserve each other.   Auntie Em can keep telling him how wonderful he is, while sits there and agrees with her.

Gina is young and impressed with money.  I'd feel sorry for her if she weren't so shallow.
