Madding crowd August 3, 2020 Share August 3, 2020 I have had bleeding after menopause for years. If they do a biopsy and it’s negative, they usually just wait and see . If it keeps up they do an ultrasound and then move on to surgery to view the uterus and remove anything causing the bleeding . Angela should be fine. I think she is doing the right thing telling Michael he needs to decide. He should already understand she can no longer have children. Larissa can go away. I can’t stand her face, her voice or she constant need for drama. 12 Link to comment

Crumpet August 3, 2020 Share August 3, 2020 Quote Kalani's kids being brats is not surprising, since I think the kids freak out anytime they are with are their parents. They are used to being taken care of by the grandparents. I don't know what Kalani and Asuelu do during the day, in real life, but their kids don't seem too comforted by them, making me think they don't really spend that much time with their kids. Kalani breastfeeds both children, so pretty sure she spends time with them. 10 Link to comment
Persnickety1 August 3, 2020 Share August 3, 2020 Larissa needs to get a refund on her "$10,000 face." She can use it to get her own place...in Brazil, preferably, and she can take her buddy Jess with her. People in Facebook 90DF groups (who apparently have a lot of free time) are posting up-close shots of her psoriasis/lice/dandruff that was on display atop her scalp last night. Maybe Eric was correct in his assertion she doesn't like to shower (or take care of her personal hygiene in general). She looked like she slept on a city bench the night before in a lot of those scenes. 9 Link to comment

The totin' a baby story is total garbage, and I can't believe even Angela is ignoring a possible cancer diagnosis, so my guess is that they played with the time line. There is no way that the women in Michael's family don't know that Angela is way too old to have a baby, or babies, the way Michael supposedly demands. My guess is it's another phony story line, and scripted. In real life, Angela would be laughed out of the IVF clinic. There is no way a responsible reproductive endocrinologist (IVF doctor) is going to put an egg into a 54 year old chainsmoker who is at least 100 lbs overweight. First, the logistics due to her size would be formidable. Then, if she somehow managed to get pregnant; her odds against carrying to term without having serious, even life threatening complications for herself and her baby are extremely high. Any specialist is going to tell her to come back once she's quit smoking and lost 100 lbs or hire a gestational surrogate to carry the baby, in addition to the egg donor. BTW, egg donor and IVF is out of pocket and starts at around 10 grand and goes up from there. No private health insurance plans cover IVF in a menopausal woman. A lot of clinics have finance plans, but it could easily cost 40,000. Now, perhaps they are planning to do this in Nigeria where the cost might be less and perhaps the standards for selecting candidates might be lower; but, still, it is going to cost a bundle and Angela is a poor candidate and is likely to fail. There are clinics that 'guarantee' a baby and the client owes nothing if they don't get pregnant; they only take women who are excellent candidates and wouldn't even consider a high risk nightmare like Angela. AZChristian August 3, 2020 Share August 3, 2020 It's a drive of over 15 hours (one-way) from Washington Utah to Portland. They'd have had to pay for gas, food, and probably an overnight stay in a hotel. The shortest flight I saw from Saint George was almost 4 hours ($222 round trip, so $666 for the three who would require tickets). There are no direct flights. Plus there still would have been food costs for the layover in Salt Lake City. Seeing how those kids seem to scream constantly in the car, and Asuelu spends his whole drive time swearing under his breath, the flight was the best option. 5 Link to comment

jackjill89 August 3, 2020 Share August 3, 2020 Angela smoking while getting the results of a biopsy... priceless. She is something else. I can't believe that the whole age factor in relation to the baby totin' didn't occur to her before now. It is ridiculous to even think that at 54 it would be no problem to have a risk-free pregnancy. They consider moms at 40 to be geriatric pregnancies! And yes, Angela, in Michael's culture if mom doesn't approve of the marriage, it's doomed. Doesn't matter how old Michael is, he's going to want his family's blessing. Libby/Andrei/Family Libby are too much like the whole Chantal/Pedro/Family Chantal for me. Libby constantly changes sides when it suits her -- she's united with Andrei when they are alone, but then as soon as Family Libby is there, she's a total bitch to her husband and sides with her family. Pedro and Andrei are similar. They both are stubborn and don't want people asking intrusive questions, but their answers feed into the drama and keep the family on the attack. It is exhausting and really not enjoyable to watch. There's nobody to like except for Andrei's parents, who seem very kind. Thank goodness they aren't like Pedro's mom and sister! Kalani and Asuelu -- I cannot stand them at all. He is such a complete pouty sad sack. He acts and sounds like a toddler. He has no empathy for anyone. He is very selfish and wants what he wants when he wants it. She is overbearing. I just can't even with these two. Why exactly is her sister coming on the visit??? I find the whole visit very odd. An episode or so ago he said he wasn't at all close to his half-sisters, now he's rushing to visit them. I can't even watch him. I'm amazed he functions in the real world with a real job. He seems to have one emotion: petulant child. The look on Debbie's face during her talking head when the producer asked if she knew Jess didn't want Colt talking to Vanessa. That was pure diabolical evilness... and frankly, I loved it! She is a force to be reckoned with! Colt and Debbie deserve each other. The games they play with each other, and Colt's girlfriends, I think they both thrive on it. Larissa needs to be deported. Now. Don't care about her at all. Paul and Karine -- knowing the background scoop, I can't watch at all. They both need help. ASAP. Tania slurping that tea. That was so distracting and unnecessary. As a tea drinker, I can tell you that tea tastes just as good when sipped quietly. I think Singyn should just stay in S. Africa. They are so ill-matched it isn't even funny. If I were on that plane with them, I'd be so ticked if a guy took off his shoes and walked around barefoot. Just yuck. Also barefoot in a store? He really has no desire to grow up and be productive. He just wants to hang out with his friends, drink and let time pass him by. 21 Link to comment

That’s why this whole baby thing isn’t a storyline. She has already told and promised his family that she could conceive and produce a child. To renege would mean they would rescind the blessing. A Naija mother/family rescinding their blessing or not offering one would be enough to stop the wedding. Never forget Usman’s mother stopped talking to him for three months when he told them about Billy Goat Visa. He bypassed women in the tribe for a woman older than his mum who absolutely couldn’t have a child, and his family couldn’t hide their disapproval and disdain more if they tried. I still believe she reluctantly agreed. Mykull’s Mum would do more of the same. It’s not unheard of for women to conceive naturally over 50, but Fiddy-Four Year Old, overweight, chain smoking Grangela has been in menopause, hasn’t had eggs in years, and effectively made a promise to his family she can’t keep. Tango64 August 3, 2020 Share August 3, 2020 It's good that Paul cares about his dogs and wants to treat them well. But if you're penniless and calling your mom to come buy dog food, you shouldn't be in a pet store buying pricey dog food (it looked like Blue Buffalo, which I buy for my dogs) and browsing the ridiculously overpriced dog treats. I think he said three tracheas for $18, which actually is less than what I'd pay at a local store, but those are real luxury treats. I think he walked out with two of them. While you're stone cold broke, you should buy a reasonably priced, healthy but not top-tier, dog food at the Publix they showed just outside in the same shopping center. And buy the luxury dog treats after you're getting a paycheck. Btw, these 90 day shows are getting less and less fun to watch as I learn more about the scripted, fake stuff. It's bad enough when you know the producers "facilitate" things with money or behind-the-scenes arrangements, but it ruins the guilty pleasure of watching when I know the people arguing are just doing it for the camera and are friendly in real life, or that some parts of their lives are just made up. 6 Link to comment

SunnyBeBe August 3, 2020 Share August 3, 2020 (edited) Debb is right about Colte having zero business jumping into another marriage, especially with another woman from Brazil, who is wanting a visa. It's just too insane to imagine, which is why I don't buy it. Not sure who came up with the idea, but, if it's for real, it's sicker than Debb ever thought of being. Jess is so fake with her reactions to Vanessa....it's like she's acting in a very downscale acting class. There's really nothing in this for Colte, except for being on a tv show. Larissa has conflict with everyone. I suspect that will never change. I suspect BPD, in addition to other issues. My concern is that she's going to hurt someone. I think that TLC underestimates this situation with her. It's funny, because, I don't think that anyone really wants Larissa deported.....except for herself. She's the only one who is really working on making it happen. Andrei is so despicable that I can't feel an ounce of sympathy towards him, regardless of what Libby's family puts out there. He can handle himself. He has no problem being completely unreasonable and a bully with his wife, so, maybe Libby's family wants to give him a little of his own medicine. Apparently, no one in his own family ever stood up to him. Pole will never work or support himself or his family, imo. When you can't provide proper care for your pets, they should be placed in proper homes. His love doesn't justify the dogs being neglected. With no job, no money and no real place to live, you owe it to the dogs, to let them find a real home. I find Pole disturbing to watch. I wish he would get an evaluation. I can't help but, believe that he has some condition that causes him to behave that way and maybe, he could get some real help on ways to change his life. Handouts don't work. Kalani has no reason to have such a shocked look on her face about her husband's immature behavior. She knew it long ago, when she first met him and she went in full steam like a very foolish lady. But that wouldn't play into the drama for the show, would it? I'm still trying to unsee that beach scene. I know other cultures are much less uptight about body image, but there was nothing about that scene that should have been on TV. 1 2 Link to comment

That was not my point. Paul is not a foreign fiancé/spouse. Invariably, the families of the foreign fiancés are portrayed as greedy and grasping. They demand money and gifts. Its not shown in any way that might charitably be described as sensitive to cultural differences. Its shown as loud, unpleasant women demanding computers and big screen TV's and cash. The families are continually whining and demanding. The foreign spouse is shown as lazy, refusing to work, but draining the family coffers to send a steady stream of harvested American dollars back home. (And they're not even dressed in rags or eating out of garbage cans! The nerve!) Its standard Sharp playbook and its getting very, very old. 13 Link to comment
Uncle JUICE August 3, 2020 Share August 3, 2020 I need a new batch of folks in these franchises man. I am sorry, but you absolutely lose me with all this very, very clear fakery. The news that you might have cancer is not something you tell your partner for the first time at a monkey farm. "Hm, I might be facing the ultimate threat, and I need to tell my wife...where should I do that....hmmm....aquarium, no, no....zoo, a little too broad....I got it, monkey farm! I just hope they aren't jerking off while I'm talking. Or maybe they'll just take a break and not fling shit at us. Now, where are my benson and hedges?" 6 5 Link to comment
salvame August 3, 2020 Share August 3, 2020 I can't believe that these relationships are so terrible. So much of what we see is manipulated, edited, and scripted, to create drama where there is not enough. As a viewer, I really resent being played this way. Look at all the drama that surrounded Loren and Alexei and David and Annie, and others, when they starred in 90 day, yet on Pillow Talk, there is none of the drama, and they seem to have loving relationships. Even the family Chantel come across as sane! Time will tell with this group - I just think the producers try to find a kernel of discord to exploit, and if they can't, then they hand them a story line or create a situation that will push buttons for the more volatile characters. If these 2 bit actors are willing to sell their souls to be manipulated in this way, then they deserve the pushback they get, IMHO. 1 6 Link to comment

And, and, and, we only have Paul "saying" he has tried to get all of these jobs and as soon as they find out, they tell him no. We have not actually seen him apply for a job during this time. (Except for last night when he , with that bubbling personality and enthusiasm, asked if they were hiring at the pet store.) 4 Link to comment

I also did some knee-slapping laughing when that "doctor" said her lab results, particularly her lipid panel, was "perfect." As you pointed out, she is morbidly obese and she didn't get that way eating healthy, that's for sure. I was hoping she'd had pulmonary function tests, too, because I wanted to hear those called "perfect" as well. 😂 I also questioned the "doctor's" delivery of her results. I've had biopsies done along with blood work, and each time the doctor started with the biopsy results which were of the most concern, then went on to say everything else was fine. Of course, I was being treated by real doctors and not some TLC paid hack. 6 Link to comment
CrazyInAlabama August 3, 2020 Share August 3, 2020 I bet the doctor did lead with the biopsy results, and the producers edited the call for suspense. 6 Link to comment
