  1. Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but does anyone know if this is a limited series? Seems to me, if they succeed in bringing back Jacob, however that would work, the show would be over. I love the initial premise of time travel, but don't quite get how to correlate the ages. And if they can go back 200 years, can/will they also go forward? I find it confusing and need this forum to help me figure it out!
  2. I picked up on this, too. It's like she's being redeemed, but we're not really sure what for. Her face looks very different to me, but then I realized she had a baby last year, so the fullness may be attributed to that. Do we have any update on if AZ is done with DOOL?
  3. If "Everett" doesn't remember anything about Bobby or Jada, then why did he ghost Stephanie at the pub the first time she tried to set up a double date, and Ev saw Jada through the window?? I haven't trusted Everett/Bobby since he reappeared on the screen. I think he's been scamming Steph, Chad and the others all along. Just trying to figure out motive.
  4. I'm sort of surprised at all the comments regarding apparel. First off, this was the wedding of Christine's dreams. Most women have planned their wedding in their heads as young children - she never had that, and her first "commitment" ceremony was a disaster from the get go. Not the way I would have styled her, but I'm sure she wanted a "real" 👗 this time around, not one made by Omar the tent maker. I have made a number of wedding/bridesmaid dresses, as well as fitted or restyled many more, and I don't do the final work until as close to the wedding as possible. I'm just thankful she didn't choose a ball gown, or a Penina bustier gown, neither of which would have been inappropriate for her, IMHO. The important thing is, this was her wedding of a life time. As far as David's (?) Mom wearing something under her dress, she is perhaps not comfortable with a lot of skin showing through lace. I'm not sure how much knowledge any of these generations of Mormons has about dressing to flatter your best features. (Before they lost weight, none of these OGs dressed well - how they looked was never a priority, except for perhaps Janelle - didn't she work of the compound?) I think the wedding came together beautifully. I wish TLC would do a spinoff of the OGs and not renew Sisterwives. The family of tenders just sucks the air out of every scene they are in.
  5. Ms, Lulu, thank you for the tic toc link. It would appear that many of this group are unaware of the Myers-Briggs personality test. Used for team building by many businesses, i can totally see where if all 5 adults went to counseling together, they would be given this type of personality test to serve as a jumping off point. You can hear The Douche saying that they will never go for group counseling again. Too bad he and Sobbin can't face their own truths. "Loved" his assessment that David was going to have a hard act to follow in him and his merits as a husband... When Sobbin wouldn't say who told her no one in the family liked her, I thought that person was the Douche, but Mykelti sounds like an even better guess. No, Douchbag, the viewers and other family members were not turned off of Sobbin because of what the other wives said or felt about her, but by the gaslighting the two of you have done and continue to do. We have watched from the beginning and seen what the editors wanted us to with our own eyes. Get over yourselves, get counseling, and get on with your monogamous relationship. I feel no sympathy for either of you.
  6. Still having trouble figuring out why Meri is sitting home for holidays, either being the third wheel or mourning not being the third wheel, instead of spending time with Leon and their wife. Maybe the no longer want to be filmed, and Mary doesnt want to relinquish her time in the spotlight??
  7. Exactly what I saw when I watched. I almost fell out of my chair when they said she was 20. She's already perfected Sobbin's voice cadence and whiney ways
  8. Lather, rinse, repeat. Ugh! I really hope the Horton lr fire isn't a reincarnation of the devil storyline... By why not? We're on baby swap v2.0, and a repeat of practically every other sl of the past decade.
  9. I am so over the douches Shirley Temple look.
  10. Watching this show is like rubbernecking when you see an accident. I can't look away. Now that these moms are no longer teens, the producers seem to be trying to create scenarios that set these young adults up to be spokespersons for various issues. Sadly, they are mostly too broken to be able to pull that off. The show seems to promote bad behavior, then show them getting help, which could be good, but not the way they do it. Your average person going through mental health or addiction issues cannot fly across the country on someone else's dime to get help. There was all that hype with Macy having PCOS, but I don't see her as someone having it. She is very thin, has no hairsuitedness, and seemingly had no issue getting pregnant. Caitlin and Tyler did the right thing by giving their firstborn a better chance at life, and bringing mental health issues to the table started out as a good thing, but then, as with all the rest of the cast with mental health and addiction issues, the show just started throwing money at things, making the trajectory unrealistic to those who don't have that kind of money. They need help to allow Carley to have the life they hoped for her to have, and cut the apron strings. They have 3 daughters to care for. I would say the most real and educational story line was about Leah's daughter having MD. That was a lot for teenagers with twins to shoulder. But that took a back seat to all the cheap, trashy drama. I feel both Ashley and Chyenne think they are too good for the rest of the cast, which is why these two entitled ladies clash with others so much. If MTV really wanted to provide public service to the viewers, they would adopt a format like "Starting Over," where they would set each family group up with life coaches and other support people who would actually teach, and make them work through, the skills they need to turn their lives around and become productive/effective parents and contributors to society. I'd much rather see that than these young adults just having money thrown at them for parties they missed because they had babies as teenagers, or houses, tattoos, plastic surgery, and ineffective rehab. As it stands, this show does nothing to effectively help the cast, then pulls the plug on those who they film being downright dangerous. (I'm looking at you, Janelle and Farrah)
  11. Chalk this up to another TLC crash and burn: Jon & Kate, Roloffs, Duggars, Plaths, not to mention a raft of other "reality" TV shows on other cable channels. I keep wondering why these families think filming their day to day lives is going to be a cakewalk, and only enhance their relationships. I also keep wondering why I tune in every week... For those wondering what the douche does for a living, Google it. It's out there. There was a hint in this episode when the were zooming in on the outside of the McMansion. I thought a lot of the outdoor exchanges between Sobbin, Meri, and Koduche were in the McMansion back yard, not Meri's. Can we move past Christmas 2 years ago and jump into more real time? I think we have beaten Christmas to death and it time to sit back and watch this house of cards finish imploding? Then I want the Christine and Janelle show!!
  12. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/kody-brown-constant-gaslighting-backfired-171039809.html At this point, all I'm hoping for is for Janelle to recoup some of her money and all of her self worth. She is so much better than all this.
  13. Kody has absolutely no clue about anything outside of himself. He's great at gaslighting, not only his "wives" but also his older children. I am amazed that the children appear to be fairly well adjusted. The conversation with the brother in law was so much bs. I especially loved the part where he said something to the effect that at least his wives had every other night off. Right.. they only had to single parent any kids for the night. These polygamist men seem to think they are such a gift to the women in their lives. I just want to smack them in the face!! LOL. Sad to not have any mention of Leon or their wife. Why did Meri not spend the holiday with them, or they with Meri and crew. Are the rumors of Kody not being supportive true? And for dogs sake, why was Arielle sporting a pacifier? That is pathetic. I'm down for a spinoff of Meri, Christine, and Janelle, and hitting the cancel button on kody and Robbin. No joy in watching or listening to them. They could call it "Recovering From Sister Wives."
