JMO but I never believed that comment... I think that was more of Robyn's stealth than anything else.

I think like many husbands Kootie had been saying that so he wouldn't get in trouble... When he married Meri she was fairly skinny and from all reports he had no problem performing and he went out of his way to explain how he wasn't attracted to Christine because "she was shoving greasy fat nachos into her yap" and she was already huge.... He basically said it was repulsive.... I don't think men who actually love big women would say that.

Robyn was being sweet, crumb gobbling Saint Robyn trying to make the other wives feel better and less concerned about the thought of their hubby rolling around in the sack with a younger slim woman who was ready to unleash herself and become his favorite.

He couldn't keep his damn hands off of Robyn even when Christine was in labor and delivering Truely.

On the honeymoon he looked like he was on Cloud 9 caressing and cuddling his skinny new wife... He definitely didn't look like a man who wanted some fat and rolls to turn him on.

But it did the trick... The fat old hags sat at home and hung on to that BS comment and soothed themselves by thinking about how much Kootie prefers their figures... Ya right... Ever since he got his hands on Robyns perky little boobs and tight ass she's been his number 1

Christine is nuts about him and does whatever she can to please his ass yet she's been getting skinnier and skinnier to the point where her face could actually use a little more weight... She knows what he likes and seems to be getting more of his attention than ever with her new slimmer figure.

I call BS on Kootie preferring fat women. 🙄

Agree 100%.

I can’t wait to laugh hysterically when chubby-wubby-gobble-wobble Meri cries and laments to the therapist about their relationship—Kody wants absolutely nothing to do with that.

Did the owner pay for the inconvenience of have to move out and find somewhere to store everything? I wouldn’t have walked away from that lease without a few extra thousand dollars and everything I already paid to her upfront but I am bitchy that way.

I definitely had that thought, too - no way would I let the landlord break the lease as I moved in without a lot of compensation for the considerable expense and inconvenience.  And I can't believe the Browns would overlook a money making opportunity. So I concluded that the situation was not quite as it seemed (maybe the filming wasn't disclosed, or something that weighed heavily in the landlord's favor.)

I'm fascinated by the legal implications of the discrimination accusations. The home was on camera, multiple times.  Whether you used my name or not, if you filmed my house (which presumably people in the area can identify) and accused me on national television as the owner of said house of having committed religious discrimination, I suspect I'd have a pretty good slander case (assuming I have documentation of something reasonable/legal). So it will be interesting to see if said owner has a side that she would like to share.

Good points. I don't get it either.  it makes me wonder if they have ever really had to struggle. The way they behave, it's like they don't know what truly doing without entails.  It's like they have a fairy God mother.....do they have benefactors who sponsor them?

Run up debt on one wife, declare bankruptcy, run up debt on second wife, declare bankruptcy, repeat. The simultaneous mortgages in Vegas were a daring departure, aided by show money.  But as I recall, when they first bought them people said they were interest only loans - perhaps those mortgage payments ballooned as scheduled, forcing the "sudden" need to move?

Meri's had a botched eye lift RIGHT!? something just looks off and I think it's some sort of plastic surgery gone wrong. She was somewhat pretty but now she just looks weird. And her choice of eyeliner doesn't help either.

I think she just got Bert Lahr's makeup artist for the cowardly lion in Wizard of Oz

You'd think that after moving so many times that these people would know how to do it efficiently.  Both Gabe & Christine made valid suggestions that were nixedr.  In Gabe's case, Janelle was freaking that they had filled the garage and couldn't unload anything more, so Gabe said let's move his stuff to his room to make room for more stuff in the garage. Janelle said no.  Meanwhile, Kootie almost tripped over Areola several times as she and 7-10 people were milling around clogging the foyer & hallways.  Christine suggested some people unload another house. Kootie said no.  He was worried that he and the boys would have to do everything.  Since Janelle didn't have furniture, it would have made sense for the less strong to move her boxes inside.  Professional movers know that the most efficient way to move is to take an item out of the truck and keep moving until you've put it in the room it is destined for.  But the Browns probably don't think ahead or label their boxes.

My guess, based on their history of financial wizardry, is that they never even read the lease and that there was something in there that they violated.  And if that's the case and they have blasted accusations about the landlord that are untrue I hope she she's their asses and TLC for libel.

Now THAT trial I would watch.

Ratings for Sunday’s show was .39.  I think this is on par from last year’s ratings average (although a far cry from its heyday).

i want this show to tank so it gets cancelled and the Browns see what real financial hardship is like.

Even Kootie warned them about cow shit, so giardia or ecoli came to mind.  Two of the rescuers of those Thai boys that were trapped in a cave 1.5 yrs ago have died due to something they picked up from the water. One of them died recently.

Sunday's show had 1.731 M viewers which is in line with last year on the upper end IIRC.  Fifth cable show of the day which is a good spot for them.

As I wrote in one or two posts up, the show rated .39 in the 18-49 demographic.  That’s the only number that counts.  Networks and advertisers don’t pay any attention to total # of viewers.

The only other ratings number they look at is DVR viewing, which of course comes out later in the week.  I think it’s called DVR+3, so they track how many ppl. record and watch the show in the three days past Sunday’s airing.

Actually they do look at total viewers, but the rating is an easy go to number across all networks.  They also look at income level of the viewers, who cuts out halfway through the show, and many other factors that don't get publicized.

I noticed the change in the intro too.  It's sort of like, "we aren't in Kansas anymore."  lol

Do they still take viewer questions in the tell all? I can't recall.  I'd like for them to get questioned about why they couldn't have gotten closer together if they conserved more.  Okay.  Can someone help me on bedroom needs.  I think I did this long ago, but, things may have changed by now.  How many bedrooms did they ACTUALLY end up with?

Christine's minor children or those still at home are:  Truly, Ysabel, Gwendyln, and Paedon?  So, they could manage with 1 or two bedrooms for them and then one for Christine and Kody.  A 3 bedroom would have been fine, right?

Janelle's minor or at home children: Gabriel and Savannah.  3 bedrooms would be fine.

Robyn's minor or at home children:  Dayton, Aurora, Breanna, Solomon and Ariella.  4 bedrooms fine. ( A young man Dayton's age should have own room, imo. )

Meri has no minor children at home, but, would need a spare room for office/guest. So, 2-3 bedrooms.  If times were hard, I would suggested that I get a studio (with garage space for my products) to conserve, since, I would be in NV and Utah (B&B) on business so often.

And didn’t Kody say it was completely normal for plyg children to share rooms?

Yes, he mentioned kids in bunk beds etc. when he was talking about using the family room as Christine's master bedroom.  I hope it has a door.  The big wall of windows didn't seem to have any drapes or blinds, so anyone can look in and on a clear night or summer morning, the moonlight or sunlight would interfere with your sleep.

Was thinking why would Meri move into a cul de sac at all?  Who wants their neighborhood over run with 60 plus family, cars, trucks, crews?  Plus the UPS truck in and out!

Most home owners that chose them have young children and don't want the traffic or they're empty nesters that enjoy their peace and quiet!

Meri is full of herself if she thinks that would be the place for her!

She chooses poorly then thinks everybody should put up with her poor choices!

Someone above posted that Kody simply could not let his son grab that spotlight for even a few moments.  Spot-on.  Kody's gotta beat his chest and make sure everyone knows that HE'S THE MAN.  What a jerkwad.

He also said once (or twice) that he wasn't sure that his underpants would stay up, since he had lost 10 pounds during the move.  Not only was that a humblebrag, but it could have been a veiled message to his wives.  Albeit, then-engaged Robyn declared that Kody likes curvy girls.

I wouldn’t worry too much, cuz they also track DVR+7.  Also, if you’re not a Nielsen household, it doesn’t matter at all.

From what I’ve read, streaming isn’t counted, or it only adds a small/insignificant amount to the tally.  Streaming, of course, has changed the whole tv-watching viewing habits landscape, and the ratings mavens are struggling to keep up.

Paedon hasnt lived at Christine's for some time. I think he's close to 21, and in the military. He posted some Instagram photos from Vegas. I heard he lives with Mykelti and FT but I wouldn't be surprised if he actually lived with Garrison instead.

Robyn is the only one with a full house. IMO Dayton SHOULD be living in the dorms but Robyn has a firm hand on him.

I'm a grown lady and I say it for fun sometimes, because I hate "panties" and "underwear." Sometimes for kicks I borrow a phrase from the nice older ladies who asked me where the "foundations" were when I worked at JC Penney in the 90s. (Hint: they were not talking about makeup.) Sometimes I use "chones" or "calzones" or "pantalones" for fun but never "panties" because OMG it's such an awkward word.

Re: Dr. Pimple Popper, I can't stand to watch but I want to give her the ratings, so I've been trying to have her on mute and out of the room when she's on. She seems genuinely sweet and she's the last resort for a lot of people. The little bit of her show I've seen, she seems to really care about her patients and she's very kind and sensitive. I think skin is so important and having struggled with acne for 30+ years, I can imagine what it's like to have skin abnormalities that only she can handle. So I want to tune in, but I can't stomach what she deals with. If you can, please tune into her show. She's a great doctor who really does seem to care and has a great bedside manner.

The only thing I got out of the whole 2 hours is that Gabe looks exactly like Kody did at his age. I hope for Gabe's sake he ages better than his dad. I actually think he is a nice looking teenager.

Also when Gabe commented that all he kept doing when they were moving in was move one box from one place to another, I though to myself that that was the content of most of the episode. That, and the Browns once again complaining that they have no money. Because they continue to make bad decisions. Yawn.

Gee, and you know what, Kody?  It's also normal for kids from monogamous parents to share a room.  Get over yourself, caveman, you're not nearly as special as you think you are.

And what was up with the toddler furniture in Gabe's new bedroom?  Was Janelle's rental furnished?  It makes perfect sense, since this is Janelle we're talking about - the one who stated more than once that she wouldn't mind a bit if she left all her old crap behind in LV for someone else to dill with.  Her laziness is really something to behold.

I would've lost my entire mind trying to move house with that nutjob family.  They all go in 12 different directions while Kody stands there uselessly pontificating, pretending to try to rally the troops but in reality, he just loves to play the frazzled patriarch that no one listens to, even though he always thinks he has the best ideas.  What a jerk.

Much of what we have heard from the Brown family has sounded like a lot of self induced drama.  I call it, "rich people's problems."  Get real.

When Kody mentioned how Christine has sort of noble Mormon heritage  It caused me to think about that family that was slaughtered in Mexico recently.  A few of the kids survived, but, the moms and most children died. It was all over the news.  I read something about their connection to a sect of polygamist from the US.  I wonder if any relation to Christine. (cousins).

No one would be irritated by a UPS truck. They come once a day (if needed)- probably less per week than the mailman, and usually during the day when most people (and kids) are not home.

Meri probably would have been an ideal neighbor. She has no kids, keeps to herself and no one visits her. AND she like to go on trips so she's gone fairly often.

I get UPS and Amazon deliveries at 9 pm pretty often. I'm friends with my UPS guy and he told me if they stopped making deliveries earlier they'd be perpetually behind with all the stuff people order online (I came home from work yesterday and there were 5 packages waiting for me!).

I think it was more the prospect of having filming - with all the film crew, their vehicles, and the resulting hubbub - along with Meri being annoyed about the neighbors "spying" on her (the price of Fame, suck it up buttercup - she's probably pissed because she won't be able to run those photos through Facetune) was the real issue. The neighborhood is entitled to quiet enjoyment.

Yeah, I'm with you.  The neighbors probably had no way of knowing that Meri currently resides on the shitlist and probably wouldn't have a lot going on.  All they could see was the total chaos going on with the hordes of dysfunctional "movers" plus the film crew.  If Meri had kept her mouth shut and not broadcast the BS about the neighbors being prejudiced they might not have been up in arms.  But if someone started screeching lies about me for the world to hear I would  be less than tolerant - I'd want her ass of my neighborhood and good riddance.

Meri's got an inflated sense of entitlement.  She expects to be treated like royalty.  She'll never get over herself.

After bad-mouthing the "mean people that don't want us" I'd hate to have her for a neighbor.  She lied to Truely by telling her that "they don't want us" without truthfully explaining the situation, which is very probably the invasion of the film crew.  I'd bet the neighbor that called the law had her/his driveway blocked or something of that nature, a legitimate complaint.  It's like everyone is expected to roll out the red carpet.  Sure, Jan.

The problem with cul-de-sacs like the one in Flagstaff is there is no room for on-street parking as it is all driveways. A quick and quiet moving van would be tolerated, but Meri needed at least two and Kody and his wives and kids were yelling across the yard, repeatedly because it is hard to hear when you are inside the van or house.

Managed to see a bit of this thanks to an AMAZING person who uploads on YouTube. ‘Kicked out’ phhffftt! These people and their perceived persecution. It’s really getting old. 🙄

The producers probably manufactured that whole ‘kicked out’ storyline because the Brown’s have literally nothing else going on to talk about. How convenient the neighbors ‘didn’t want to be on camera’. Even if it was truthful - firstly, well good for the neighbors! I’d feel the same if my quiet, unassuming, culdesac was taken over by a circus of obnoxious and entitled wannabe celebrities, filming their D-grade reality show. Secondly Meri openly admitted she was leaving by choice not because she was ‘kicked out’. She just couldn’t wait for an excuse to hightail it out of Kermit’s lime green lair and back to her (amazingly still furnished) bland Vegas McMansion where she could absolve herself of having to dill with the family, but still film for money.

The Kody mantra of ‘where we go one we go all’ clearly doesn’t apply to his family members he doesn’t care for, as if he really lived by it and he and old Mare were genuinely ‘married’, no husband would consider that a reasonable solution. These relationships are such a farce for filming purposes, it’s actually laughable that they think their audience is that dumb.

Also the language on them and Kody’s bum display on the couch and flipping people off the last few seasons... For all their ‘modesty standards’ and ‘high morals’ and ‘we believe god doesn’t want us too... (insert normal human behavior here) - 🙄 Sure Jan. I remember when they were chastising Logan ‘for using language they don’t like’ and now look at them.  The last few seasons have shown more and more they are hypocritical fakers who were putting on a farce of I’m holier-than-thou in the beginning.

Christine's father was an Allred.  A very famous name in fundamentalism and a wealthy family. Her mother was a LeBaron. Another well known Mormon family. Ervil LeBaron killed Christine's paternal grandfather, Rulon Allred.

The family in Mexico was from the LeBaron clan.

Meri must have only lived in that first rental house for two weeks because Kody live tweeted during the episode that Christine stayed in a hotel for 2 weeks until her house was ready.  In the episode, they were moving Meri out of her rental house on the same day that they were moving Christine into her new house.  That means Meri only stayed 2 weeks in that rental where she was so "persecuted".  Way to give it time.
