I think Robin has GI problems. She has looked pregnant to me since Baby Sister was born. And she has not looked well since she gave birth. There was an episode where they talked about her stomach issues. She couldn't keep food down; couldn't stand the smell of food cooking.  Hope she is seeing a specialist if that is still going on.

Remind me again what’s so great about having a mud puddle with cattle lot drainage in it?

Who would have thought Robyn would look the most matronly in the TH’s?

This was just a bunch of couch sitting, kody pontificating, did we make the right choice boring ass premiere.

Yes.  I think Truely has never gotten her share of attention, largely because Kootie was falling down and pissing his pants in anticipation of nailing his new side piece, Robyn.

Truely is a favorite of mine.  I don't fill Meri fills the same way, or why would she gush all over King Sol, and only lie to Truely about the "mean people" without telling the whole story?

Nobody gives a shit about the plyg thing.  The Brown Clowns are playing that up, and it's been old for years now.

You're right.  I've heard surfer dude too many times, although I don't see or believe it.

In the talking heads, Kody laments that Truely "forgot the dad."

Christine interrupts, "I threw you in."

Kody replies, "I know you did, but Truely forgot to say, 'My dad,' you know."

Christine interrupts softly, "My dad," but with an upward vocal inflection.

Kody continues, " My dad.  This good-looking, husky, hippy-looking guy with a beard."

Christine interrupts again at the 'hippy-looking guy,' speaking rapidly,  "She doesn't think of you like that."

Kody replies, "Well," before Christine than blurts to the cameras, "He's more of a constant.  Everyone has a dad," while smiling at him.

Kody turns to her, smiles, pleased, and says, "Well, that's true."

They both laugh.   The scene switches to Meri, moping in Las Vegas.

Was thinking why would Meri move into a cul de sac at all?  Who wants their neighborhood over run with 60 plus family, cars, trucks, crews?  Plus the UPS truck in and out!

Most home owners that chose them have young children and don't want the traffic or they're empty nesters that enjoy their peace and quiet!

Meri is full of herself if she thinks that would be the place for her!

She chooses poorly then thinks everybody should put up with her poor choices!

The funny thing about the bolded part is that it sounds like a nightmare.  As a never-had-a-nester (single, no kids, never married, perfectly happy), if I thought I'd found peace and quiet, and realized my cul de sac was filled with young children riding their big wheels around the cul de sac, I'd be miserable and irritable.  "Get off my lawn!!!"

In fact, I bought my small condo in my small community because I didn't think large families/families with kids would want to live here.  Wrong!  Some of my neighbors have stacked their kids and medium-to-large-sized dogs in these little condos quite happily.

Luckily I live at the end of the community with undeveloped land one 1 side, so I'm still happy.  😀

He's also referred to himself as a "cool surfer dude" a few times over the years

I think the first time I heard it was during his honeymoon with Robyn when they took surfing lessons.

Hey Christine, everyone does not have a Dad.  And you applied for food stamps and welfare on the basis that you were a "single mother", so it is no wonder that Truely thinks of Kody as King Sol's & Areola's devoted Dad who occasionally stops by Christine's to sit in the corner, ignoring the kids while checking his phone.

I noticed this too - both Truly and Savannah were questioning why Meri had to move, so there does seem to be an actual relationship there - although I don't recall seeing Meri really interact with any of her bonus kids other than King Sol, which is, of course, completely self-serving on Meri's part.

It kind of does boggle the mind.  Yes, poor Mer was only able to provide King Kody with one child, but there are a plethora of kids who I'm sure could desperately use some one on one time with a "mom," with Truly and Savannah being the two prime examples.  So Meri whining that there's no love lost with her family is really a slap in the face to the kids that could probably use some extra love and attention.  Meri is going to end up very alone if she's not careful.

He works very hard to maintain that image, but the problem is, it's not all in the hair.  If one wants to be considered a cool surfer dude, one must - you know, surf.

He really is a legend in his own mind.

Oh, I think that ship has sailed.  She couldn't even get anybody to give her a room to stay in with the big rental debacle.  What kind of "family" does that unless it's to someone they all truly detest.  Even relatives of whom I am not overly fond would be welcome to sleep on the couch as opposed to rummaging for a motel room.

She's cooked her own goose.  Or, rather, cooked her own catfish.

#1. If Meri is in LV for at least a month, why doesn’t she clean all the homes? Put whatever crap they left organized in the garage then clean and have carpets cleaned. Then list & sell them. Her clothing pyramid scheme business can only take a couple hours a day.
#2. If no-one offered her their guest room ( because they apparently are not a real family) why didn’t she go stay in her B&B in Utah? Her mom is there and it’s less of a drive.
#3. She lives alone. Why couldn’t she get a 1 bdrm apartment in Flagstaff? Why are they all so intent on living in palatial-type homes when they are so worried about money?
I think they feel so entitled. They really can’t “dumb down” Christmas or anything else ‘cuz you can’t get much dumber than this tribe!

The only thing I got out of the whole 2 hours is that Gabe looks exactly like Kody did at his age. I hope for Gabe's sake he ages better than his dad. I actually think he is a nice looking teenager.

Also when Gabe commented that all he kept doing when they were moving in was move one box from one place to another, I though to myself that that was the content of most of the episode. That, and the Browns once again complaining that they have no money. Because they continue to make bad decisions. Yawn.

I noticed Gabe in the TH is quite the mouth breather.  He looked off to me.  I am not sure why because he normally looks better than that.

After bad-mouthing the "mean people that don't want us" I'd hate to have her for a neighbor.  She lied to Truely by telling her that "they don't want us" without truthfully explaining the situation, which is very probably the invasion of the film crew.  I'd bet the neighbor that called the law had her/his driveway blocked or something of that nature, a legitimate complaint.  It's like everyone is expected to roll out the red carpet.  Sure, Jan.

Could it have been an HOA problem the owner thought wouldn't be a big problem?  I thought it was shitty to tell a small child that someone doesn't want them there.  But these people are shitty.

I would love to know how many of those that jumped into the cesspool got sick after, or contracted some type of skin rash or worse.  Unfortunately, we will never get the full story on that.

When they were touring Christine's house, did I hear Robyn say she was jealous?!?!  Isn't she the one with the biggest house, like 10,000 sq. feet???

And yes, she really did look pregnant!

Kody is Exhibit A for why you don’t give someone full rein and authority just because they have a penis. Who could possibly have predicted they would end up in a financial mess due to poor impulse control and lack of planning?

it makes me nuts when he gathers “all the wives” and starts haranguing them about this shitfest. Ladies, this is not acceptable. Fuck off, Bam-Bam.

Once all the kids are grown and gone and the adults just have each other, I can’t imagine they will be able to continue this “one happy family” charade. The women are all sure to be miserable.

the preview of him snarling at Robin in front of everyone is just loathesome. Like he’s the stern daddy of them all. Hate.

Oh, that rascal Robyn!  Queen of Deflection!  Mistress of Diversion!  Princess of Passive-Aggressive!

Of course she told Christine that she was jealous.  She probably told the same thing to Janelle and Meri (before poor Mer was persecuted right out of her new cul-de-sac).  Robyn's simply planting the seed of faux-envy in the pea-brains of her sister wives and watering the seed with her copious fake tears.  This way, when the other three start to get that subtle nagging filling that perhaps, maybe, somehow, Robyn got the biggest and bestest house, they can pause and say, "but wait.  Robyn said she was JEALOUS of my house!!  So that's one point for me!"

To call Robyn The Dark Stealth Maestro/Mistress of the Depths of the Underworld does not do her justice.

No, because they are all jealous of each other - God only knows why, and have no interest in sharing or truly acting like one big happy family unless the cameras are rolling.

You are correct in that they believe that their God is the only one that knows why he has commanded them to “live plural marriage”.

I’m neither a Mormon nor a polygamist but the way I understand the plural wife role that goes along with their particular flavor of Kool-Aid is that it is supposed to be a sacrifice, filled with jealousy and angst.   “Keeping sweet” , being obedient, suffering, having as many children as one possibly can, being ostracized by the general public~it’s all so that their God will be happy with them and let them into heaven when they die.  For them, the original Christian Church that started with Jesus Christ was restored by Joseph Smith and it is THE ONE TRUE WAY.

If it was all joy and sunshine, laughter and light with the wives all clamoring/begging Kody for them to all live together in one big house, maybe even share a kitchen, perhaps?

If the women didn’t gross out at the mere idea of seeing Kody show even the slightest hint of any kind of display of romantic affection to another wife?

then there is no sacrifice...

Might as well just be one of those freelove hippie types, blindly following the direction of some wacky dude with whacked out ideas that somehow charmed his way into your pants, holding court at some abandoned movie ranch...🤔

This whole episode, all I could think was, why aren't these women living together .  30 minute drive away from each other with 5 mortgages on property they aren't even living on.   10 total payments for homes/property.

4 Vegas, 1 lot in Flagstaff, 4 houses in Flagstaff, and Meri's B&B.  With nothing but TLC payments and about 20 people to support.  Good grief.

Robyn's castle house should have been Christine/Janelle's home or at least someone + Meri.  They all should be grateful Meri got kicked out, its one less payment they have to make.

To me it reads as major depression compounded by rage at his parents for uprooting his life for bonehead reasons, conflicting with a need to not add to his mother's burdens by openly opposing her. These kids know their moms have gotten the short end of the stick in their marriages, but pointing out the obvious only makes them dig in and defend Kody more. In a previous episode Gabe expressed a pretty sad but honest admission that fighting the move would ultimately hurt his mother and since it was going to happen regardless, the best he could offer was unenthusiastic compliance.

My hope for the male children of Kootie, is that they realize their father is a major douchebag, and that they vow never to treat a woman (NOT women!) like Kootie has treated his "wives."  He's never even been legally bound to two of them, is a narcissistic man-child, and has demanded respect, when he has not done anything to earn that respect.

That showoff in that mud pond was just gross.  My hope for the female children is that they realize that their father is NOT something they should look for in a mate.

I think some of the boys (in particular Paedon, Gabe, Garrison and Hunter) have had their unfair share of shitty edits and storylines. I feel for all of them, with many situations in their sensitive teen years that should have been kept private, being broadcast to the world, as their idiot parents sold them out...Times like when they referred to Hunter as a ‘raging testosterone monster’ and made his (perfectly normal) difficult adjustment to Robyn’s (and Solomon’s) entry to the family into an unflattering storyline, Garrison and Gabe’s car park scuffle and the subsequent over-the-top televised dismay and discipline from Gabe’s ‘lying’ that followed, (along with the countless other times those boys have been insinuated as family bullies and brutes picking on Robyn’s angel babies), Gabe’s and Paedon’s raw emotions and distraught tears televised, with both ridiculous and unnecessary moves... so many examples of how these middle child boys in particular, have been sacrificed and character assassinated by their parents for the sake of a storyline and a quick buck.

No wonder Logan, Garrison and Paedon have basically hightailed it straight off camera and away from the spotlight as soon as they were able in search of a normal existence. Hopefully Gabe gets to do to the same ASAP.

I’m no big fan of Meri, but I know that if I were her, and not a single one of those sister witches had offered me a spare room or a couch to sleep on when I got “kicked out,” I would not be real jazzed to clean their houses and get them ready for sale.  I know she didn’t mind heading for a hotel and then back to LV, but the fact that we are all talking about it has to sting just a little bit for her and make her embarrassed.  True, Meri has earned a lot of the animosity, but I still don’t blame her for not cleaning up their messes after them.  They left those places in a disaster state, and Meri kept her house pretty clean.  I can’t sleep in your spare room?  I’m sure not headed to your old house to get it nice and clean for you!  None of them really does anything for the good of the group anyway, and the last time Meri did (getting a divorce so Robochin’s kids could be legitimized), it really bit her in the ass . . . and continues to chomp at her on a daily basis.

To me it looked as if Mari never planned on staying in Flagstaff. It didn't look as if she had packed any of her inventory or work stuff. Her bedroom was intact.

The producers probably manufactured that whole ‘kicked out’ storyline because the Brown’s have literally nothing else going on to talk about. How convenient the neighbors ‘didn’t want to be on camera’. Even if it was truthful - firstly, well good for the neighbors! I’d feel the same if my quiet, unassuming, culdesac was taken over by a circus of obnoxious and entitled wannabe celebrities, filming their D-grade reality show. Secondly Meri openly admitted she was leaving by choice not because she was ‘kicked out’. She just couldn’t wait for an excuse to hightail it out of Kermit’s lime green lair and back to her (amazingly still furnished) bland Vegas McMansion where she could absolve herself of having to dill with the family, but still film for money.

The Kody mantra of ‘where we go one we go all’ clearly doesn’t apply to his family members he doesn’t care for, as if he really lived by it and he and old Mare were genuinely ‘married’, no husband would consider that a reasonable solution. These relationships are such a farce for filming purposes, it’s actually laughable that they think their audience is that dumb.

Kody's newly dubbed "Prime Directive" is a key example of his lunacy.  The more I watch this show the more I see Kody's role in the family is so much like one of those clueless middle managers.  They don't know how to manage people, they don't know how the work is actually done, but they have to justify their jobs somehow.  So he (or she!) comes out of his office and announces "I want to see 10% growth this quarter!" and then all the employees turn, shocked, and say "okay boss, how do we do that? what are your ideas?" And he just shrugs his shoulders and disappears back into his office because all he needs to do it point and THEY are supposed to make it happen.

Kody comes up with "where we go one, we go all"...okayyy, but with so many people and different needs for each wife it just isn't logical. He actually was a royal nob when he dumped it on Meri the fact that she was leaving and telling HER that SHE was not following the "prime directive" by doing so.  But that is what he does...he makes the big announcement and then dumps it on the wives to make it work.  HEY, don't complain! I'm the leader of this family...hop to it!! Another example is at the "table meeting" where he states that "WE chose to move".  I am glad that Janelle kinda sorta called him out, but in true Kody fashion he gaslights it and side steps and says "hey don't dump this on ME.  WEE chose this!"  But yet again...it is up to the wives to make his decisions actually work!

I don't believe that the lease story was manufactured...and the reason is...way back when after they announced they were moving and then it popped up in public records that they bought land and then people found pretty quickly that three of the wives had houses and all that information popped up online pretty quickly.  However, it was months before any address etc was found for Meri.  This storyline actually lines up with the filming of her getting there and then leaving and not taking that house as a residence.  A couple of months later it popped up that she had that really big house with an elevator etc.  I'm assuming that is the house she mentions in the show that "isn't available right away".

I have watched this show from the beginning. Those 5 people sitting on the couch were stressed to the max.  If they really did that insanity of moving with 25 vehicles in one day just for some storyline for their show that is sheer madness. ""Hey kids, we are going to put you all through hell again so they can film us freaking out and breaking down, but hey...that's how we pay the bills!!"" 😐

They did not give specifics about why the police were called...because it was most likely a ton of vehicles blocking driveways and people everywhere and the camera crews etc.  If the real reason the police were called actually followed their storyline, then they would have a copy of the police report and waving it around on camera.  I'm sure everyone has experienced "that neighbor" in their lifetimes. Meri lost the lottery with a Mrs. Gladys Kravitz next door. Meri said that the fact that they had filming and were a poly family was up front in the lease, but obviously after Mrs. Kravitz next door called the owner of the house and gave her an earful...the owner wanted to back out.  Sure Meri could have fought it, she had the signed lease and it would have meant getting a lawyer and going to public court over it.  THAT means real facts hitting the internet instead of what the Browns want to spin on the show (including the whole secret storyline in the first place).  They want "ooohh they don't want YOUR family, they don't want polygamists..." when the facts are they don't want neighbors that bring a disruption to the quiet and peace of their little cul de sac with noisy children and camera crews.

After experiencing the neighbor I would take the back out option too. Why fight to stay in a house knowing that you will have the kind of person that will then complain about every little thing you do and potentially film your car one inch out of place.  Your grass one inch too tall. Your music one decibel too loud etc etc. And win. win. Meri got to go back to LV with peace and quiet to herself and the show got their storyline.

Another season of this crapfest, another season of my husband rolling his eyes that I watch.  It's like picking a scab.  We know we shouldn't be doing it, but just can't help ourselves.

Some questions and observations:

Was anyone else cringing for that poor piano that was being clumsily manhandled?  Or should I say teen-handled.  Aren't there specialty movers for pianos?  I pity the piano tuner who gets stuck with that job.  And who among them plays piano, anyway?

Except for the circus that accompanies her, I would prefer Meri living next door to me over any of the others, if only for the reason she seems to take good care of her property.  But then again, there would be the inevitable tight-yoga-panted, unshaven armpitted Moriah sightings.  Never mind.  I rescind my welcome.

I'm no electrician, but it would have occurred to me that running three freezers off the same zone would more than likely eventually, and repeatedly, overload the circuit.  Twelve-hundred pounds of rotting animal flesh. Meri's neighbors have no idea of the bullet they dodged.

Who willingly jumps into BROWN water????  Are these people completely braindead?  And what's with Kody's wonder and awe that a once-empty hole is now filled, as though God, Himself, performed this as a sign just for them.  Brown water for the Brown family.  Just like speaking to Moses from the burning bush.  And speaking of which...

What teenaged girl wants to see her adult brother or worse, her father, in his skivvies?  And wet skivvies, at that?  At least Gabe has gravity in his favor.

Kody tells us he'll be keeping up the regular rotation.  So every seventh night, he'll trek four hours to Las Vegas to give Meri her due?

So now it occurs to Kody that leaving behind four unsold homes, purchasing a massive plot of land, buying or renting four very large homes without having finances secured might have been a harebrained idea?  Kody, you're wasting your talents.  NASA needs minds like yours.  Whoever loans these grifters money shouldn't be surprised when this show ends and they don't recover a dime because the Kodsters have filed for bankruptcy.  And then they'll file a suit against the manufacturer of The White Board, upon which this whole scheme was launched.  Surely, it's their anti-polygamist conspiracies that are behind the failure of Kody's Perfect Plan.  Next time you need a white board, Kody, make sure it's from a pro-plyg company.

Phew! I feel better getting that off my chest.  And sadly, I'm in for the duration.

Regarding Old Mare, pretty sure chunky-orange-frowny-face isn’t in the rotation.

Also, as far as a couple of the wives/families sharing a house (doubling up), when I have rented a house or rented out my own house, they were always zoned as single family dwellings. It's in the lease. They could get away with having a single person living with one of the other wives. (Meri). But we know that's never gonna happen.

Not only that, but cleaning a house and prepping it for sale is a lot of work. Just ONE house is a ton of work.

The LLR stuff actually took up quite a bit more time for her than a couple hours a day. Back in my FB days when I was following her VIP group, she was literally spending HOURS on FB Live. She'd take a break to eat, pee, and invoice buyers, then she'd be right back on. She posted a lot about being up all night invoicing and getting orders ready to ship.

Also, the only house that she should care about is her own.  Janelle and Christine owned their houses as "a single woman". Let's face it. All that stuff about being one big family is utter bullshit.  As the late great Elvis Presley said "clean up your own back yard" Janelle and Christine! Damn, you think that Janelle would know better, her being a real estate agent and all, that first impressions are important when selling in a buyer's market.  She should've had a cleaning TEAM in the house along with handymen fixing and painting what needed to be fixed, but if memory serves the few homes Janelle actually was on record as selling were REOs so maybe she just thought it didn't matter.

Regarding Old Mare, pretty sure chunky-orange-frowny-face isn’t in the rotation.

At this point with Kody over the age of 50, I doubt there's sex (hot or otherwise) going on every night of the week.  If he can't get it up, then nothing will happen. Yeah, there's Viagra but... The guy still needs to actually WANT to have sex with the other person. Kody has never struck me as a sex machine. I've always maintained he got into polygamy not because of sex but because he's an attention ho.

Right.  And those houses are DIRTY.  Pretty sure Janelle’s brown carpet was several shades lighter when it was new.

Yeah I don't blame her one bit.  I don't like her but I wouldn't lift a finger for the others either.  Christine and Janelle have adult kids in the area (or maybe just Christine does, who cares, they also claim Janelle as a mom so there you are) that could have cleaned up for their parents.  Or they could have shifted their asses back to LV.  Not really Meri's prob.  She is working hard for her own financial security when TLC has had enough of plygs.  Good for her having it all in HER name and no legal ties to Koody and his band of brain dead wives.

I loved the Big Love episode when Bill had to go on Viagra to “service” all his wives... I doubt Kody would bother.

We bought a house with all-tile floors. Put area rugs down and LOVE that. Something happens to the rug, it’s temporary and can be replaced versus the nightmare of ripping up and replacing carpet (done that too many times)
