I mean, I can't even. I'd sooner take diet and exercise advice from Mama June before listening to what this overly-botoxed hot mess had to say about "beauty" and "style." Let alone "getting your IT together." She has one of the longest faces I've ever seen. She only seemed to look attractive to me with her hair in a pony tail or straight. The curls on her. Yech. I'm new to RHONJ as I just started binge watching on Hulu. I liked her Season 1. Kinda liked her Season 2. She seemed like a fun drunk. But holy hell, the Ashley storyline. At first, I thought it was just that Ashley was the asshole. But then as I started watching, I was thinking sheesh people. This kid's parents are pimping out her being a wayward kid for a storyline. I'd be pretty freaking sullen as well. And after watching Season 3, there's no question in my mind that Ashley's probably heard so many times about the "sacrifices" her mom made to raise her as a single mother that I'm sure she is bitter. I liked Jac in Season One and Two too. She was pretty and bubbly and seemed like a lot of fun to be around. Her drama with Ashlee just seemed to be typical of the way kids are at that age, but it digressed into something really dark by the 3rd season, and I felt bad for Ashlee. Like someone said above, she has probably been hearing that "I sacrificed SO MUCH for you" line her entire life(which HELLO, welcome to being a MOTHER, Jacqueline), and made to feel like a burden and mistake. There was an episode in Season Four, during that whole relay games at their house, and Gia lost something and got upset and stormed inside. And then Jac followed her and told her how much of a sore loser she was and proceeded to read a book about sore losers and mocking her in that stupid sing-song voice, while Gia is sobbing and begging her to stop. I'm no Teresa fan, but I would have punched her in the face. And it made me think, "Geez, if she's doing to someone else's kid, imagine what she's done to her own?" One thing I will say about Ashlee though, she's always had her mother's number. When she said that her mother likes to insert herself into drama, she was exactly right, and Jacqueline has shown that over and over. And because it can't be said enough, THEIR FACES. I live in Northern NJ though, and there's as many "lunchtime procedure" places around here as there are strip malls. It's nothing unusual around here. Sad, but not unusual. I've always liked Chris though, I always gave him props as a voice of reason and not getting involved in the BS. I'm guessing he's agreed to come back for the much needed income. I also think he can be funny and genuinely misses Juicy (who's unintentionally funny - the best kind). So I respectfully disagree. I can't give any credence to the Jaq screeching though. Even if I think she's too over-emotional for the show. IMO Teresa screeches much worse. Maybe it's a Jersey thing? I hope not for NJ. BTW - I also give the Giudice's a pass for continuing to be on the show (and whatever tabloid $ they make) cause they desperately need the income too. I also do feel bad for Rosie cause her and Juicy seemed to be genuine friends. IMO - if I was Teresa I'd ride that for potential ratings (not so good so far) since their "connection" seemed to be popular. But maybe since Juicy's going to be "away" for the foreseeable future she decided it wasn't worth it? IMO - that's a shame for us viewers. Even when she is being fairly animated speaking, she opens her eyes really wide and on any one else, the eyebrows would go up and down and go in sync with the expressions. Hers are totally not budging. I agree there is something very un atrractive or forced looking about her. She is a pretty woman, pre surgery. 2 Link to comment

I caught it last season once or twice, and it was only so-so. But it gave me one of my all time favorite RH moments. Christopher, apparently deciding he's going to be a children's author, is taken to the library by his mother, so he can "get ideas" from current published children's books. After an extended stay in the children's section, Chris is asked to leave by a librarian, who fears he's a lurking pedophile. The whole thing was just hysterical, in my opinion. And the commercial for this season has a funny moment, when Chris asks Caroline if she's going to kill to get a girl for Al(bie). He is actually pretty funny. 1 Link to comment

You may remember that the company filed for bankruptcy back in 2009, but things hit a snag when several people, including Jacqueline and Chris, were accused of using the company money for extravagant personal use. Lawyers also jumped ship after they were owed almost $300,000 in alleged unpaid fees by the Lauritas. Chris’ brother and sister-in-law had settled their part in the case almost three years ago for $1 million, but Chris and Jac have decided to battle it out. According to NJ.com, “U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Robert E. Grossman for the Southern District of New York ruled on Thursday that Chris Laurita and management company Iconix, a subsidiary of Studio IP, were liable for fraud, negligent misrepresentation and tortious interference with contractual relations for diverting some of Signature Apparel’s assets. Laurita was also found liable for breach of his fiduciary duty, and Iconix was found liable for aiding and abetting Laurita’s fiduciary breach. The "charges" against the Lauritas appear to be run-of-the-mill CIVIL allegations. However, criminal charges might be brought if they falsified documents submitted under penalty of perjury or played fast and loose with their taxes. 2 Link to comment

I don’t believe there will be any criminal charges (except in case what Carolina Girl mentioned above). It was a corporate BK case. The BK Trustee sued them for $8M? originally and they were found liable for $1.8M - which I recall is about the worth of the clothing license’s they improperly transferred to Iconix (for both their benefit - Chris was going to be a Principal in “new company” and Iconix got the licenses) right before Signature declared BK. I read all the filings years ago. Jaq actually had nothing to do with their business operations. Any potential criminal charges would be on Chris and his brother. Edited to add - Chris and Jaq appear to be broke. Iconix is the one with deep pockets (Ruben Azrak) so I wonder who’ll be paying the judgement.
