Oh, wow.  Since I started the show about 10 minutes late I fast forwarded through the commercial breaks and had no idea Meghan stomped off the set.  Thank goodness someone posted it earlier in this thread.  She can dish it out but she sure can't take it.  I'm sure Meghan thinks since she's a full-time host that part-timer Ana should show deference to her.  When Joy told Ana at the beginning of the show, "I'm glad you're here", Meghan just sat there stone-faced.  In that entire first segment she was petting her hair a lot. 

.At least once Meghan said "a lot" of liberals agreed with what Assange did in releasing Hillary's emails.  Since most liberals think it hurt Hillary, I doubt that they were pro-Assange.  At one point she mentioned Bernie Sanders supporters, and while I am sure some of them were happy about it, Meghan seemed to be assuming all of them were.

It must be a right wing talking point to equate the whistle blower with Julian Assange.  But there are so many dissimilarities.  The whistleblower, a government official, is going through the proper channels, and has not leaked anything.  Assange, not involved in government at all, leaked actual documents online.  As best as I can recall, the Clinton emails were at worst embarrassing; no illegal activities were exposed.  This new whistleblower has information that 2 people have independently said is credible and of "urgent concern". 

Meghan was so mixed up for most of that discussion; when someone tried to clarify what she meant, she just said maybe she's "clumsy" in the way she said it.

Abby and Meghan did keep talking about lives being endangered, so I looked it up and found this - BuzzFeed, from earlier this year, which does say Wikileaks did endanger foreign sources and informants, plus Afghans in general, with some of their leaks, but those were not the Clinton campaign email leaks.  

Meghan looked like she was tuned during the masculinity discussion until she mentioned Fight Club, and twice she wondered how Brad Pitt could reconcile the philosophy of that movie with his views on masculinity today.  First of all, Fight Club came out 20 years ago; maybe his thinking has changed since then.  Second, just because an actor plays a particular character doesn't mean that they are like that character.  A second grader could grasp that concept.

I just watched it for myself and WTF was Meghan doing bringing Assange into the Ukraine story?  Not the same thing. Assange is a private citizen and as far as we know Trump didn't promise him anything for dirt on a political opponent.   And I don't know what liberals she is talking about who were happy with Assange releasing Hillary Clinton's emails. Clearly whoever is writing her blue cards does not what the fuck they are talking about.

Assange wasn't a whistleblower. He wasn't releasing information that someone was involved with criminal activity.  Meghan goes out of her way to make it seem like "liberals" are the ones who are approving of this stuff which is at best dirty politics and at worst impeachable offenses.

I started watching this new season (though I'm behind today and yesterday's episodes) and I'm going to be honest, aside from a few 'typical catty' moments with her co-hosts and guests, I found Meghan's overall demeanor to be improved from last season (still don't agree with most of her opinions and do think she conflates and is intellectually dishonest when positioning her points), however, now I'm reading she stomps off set...who the hell pissed her off? lol. Guess what I thought was a 'playing nicer' Meghan may have left the building already.

Meghan's walk-off already has a few articles, too. Here's one - HuffPost.  Her reps say that she is offering "no comment". 

I think she dislikes Ana because she knows that Ana is smarter than her and more accomplished, and does a better job at being a political pundit (CNN included).  She also knows she can't influence Ana, and I'm sure that frustrates her.

And that is what drives me crazy about Me-ghan  .

Also, Ana doesn't back down. I crack up when Ana is on CNN - she's doesn't bite her tongue at all over there.

And let's not forget, Meghan has questioned whether Ana is still a Republican on the show a few times. Meghan can't stand having a intellectual, outspoken fellow Republican on the panel who calls out her beloved party when necessary.

I find that amazingly naive under this administration and the point of the whole discussion was he/she was doing their job and going through the appropriate channels but stopped by the self proclaimed most transparent POTUS ever.

I will say that when I first saw this trending on Twitter, I didn't realize that Meghan had walked off JUST as the show was going to commercial--I thought that it was in the middle of the segment. I'm kind of sad she didn't humiliate herself even MORE.

I think that before the season started the network told Meghan to get her act together and stop with the dramatics.  She held it together for the past three weeks but today she lost it and the Real Meghan Mccain emerged.

This 1000%  Ana IS a real political pundit, who respected by her peers.  She is quick witted, articulate, self confident and funny, all the things Meghan wishes she were and knows she isn't.  Ana is not intimidated by John Mccain's daughter and calls out Meghan's bad behavior.

Meggers hates Ana because everybody else likes her.   The panelists, the audience, the viewers, everybody.   And she knows she herself is vehemently disliked, although she goes out of her way to be hateful.  
I absolutely loved watching her waddle-stomp off the set today.   I would have loved to see her slink back to the table after she was through screaming and throwing things backstage.

ABC has to realize at some point Meghan is going to go off the rails (even more than she already has) and they won't be able to save her. And I think her "people" have realized if she isn't on the View she has no where to go. She doesn't need the money so I can only assume she wants to be on TV to stay relevant (as if she ever was) and likes the attention.

Meghan is irritated because Ana possesses the emotional intelligence to recognize nuances in political issues.  Meghan thinks of all issues as left/right, conservative/liberal, republican/democrat.  Her political party dictates how she feels, what she thinks, about any issue.  Ana doesn't follow party lines blindly, she has actual opinions derived from her knowledge and experiences.  Meghan can't stand that.  

It's like a religious fanatic, that cannot look at views other than what they have adopted.  For Meghan, "republicanism"  is her religion .

Yes, Abby wants all the "facts".  Here's a fact, Abby -   it's being covered up, hidden, buried deep, and there will be repercussions for speaking out.   So, by Abby's logic, we should just look the other way,  because there are no "facts"  besides that.

Ok, so just went back and look at the episode to see big baby stomp off again. And I swear it looks like she says something to Ana as she walks past her.

I want to send Ana an Edible Arrangement. What I especially loved about her exchange with Meghan is that she told Meghan to stop shouting at her once, then when Meghan said excuse me, she just calmly repeated it again. Delightful. Just delightful.
